foreign,my name is Jason Hunter I'm the,production manager here at the pickup,shop started my career at the custom,shop as production manager I'm very,excited to see what the pickup shop has,to offer the Gibson pickup shop and the,assignment that I have is very special,to me and part of something that is very,unique within Gibson and the team that,is here is so passionate being able to,support them and go to exceed our,customers expectations is a very,important part of my role Gibson has,been making pickups since 1935. when we,treated the pickups like they were just,any other part on the guitar when,they're not I'm Jason Davidson product,development director and curator of the,Gibson archives AKA historian I'm in my,25th year at Gibson this Factory is,craftery,builds the engine of the electric guitar,these guitars would not be electric,without this pickup that Gibson invented,the humbucker we feel we have more to,offer than what we have before hi I'm,Jared Brandon I am pick a product,manager for Gibson Brands so the custom,bucker was designed after the late 50s,paf pickups and the goal was to get the,right look and to get the right sound it,gives you the both the visual and the,listening experience of a true late 50s,paf humbucker it's a very exciting time,for the pickup shop the pickup shop team,consists of those who have 40 plus years,of experience in crafting our product,putting our pickups together they,understand our customer base they're,very focused on meeting or exceeding our,customers expectations in the way of,product quality this team is making,pickups,pretty much the same way that we made,them in the 50s using some of the same,Machinery the same materials so it's,rooted in our history so the beginning,of the process we have our windings,we're able to do 12 bobbins per machine,and within our process capability we can,go four thousand five thousand six,thousand even higher up to ten thousand,in terms of the overall winding,my name is Jacob Alexander I'm here,doing lead wire lead wire is important,because it takes the signal from the,coil and it leads it to the rest of the,electronics that really wanted to get,into guitar because my uncle used to,work here at Gibson and he built me a,custom SG as soon as I started learning,guitar I've been a real Gear Head just,wanting to figure out how everything,works and how to get my best tone my,best sound I see about every model of,pickup that we get humbuckers to mini,humbuckers P90s a humbucker is two coils,so we split them in half and look at,that nice and neat,and then it's ready for Slugs slugs,magnets and pole pieces is the next step,of the process,they solder that copper wire onto these,wires so we have something to handle and,then I take them,get a pole shoe,and a magnet everything's all about,magnets here hi I'm Lisa Shelton I work,at Gibson guitar I'm in building,there we have it,the next process they're going to take,and solder these together they'll type,them down but it's just a piece

Setting the option for in-store pickup / collection in Fasthosts eCommerce Website Builder (2021)

hi,and welcome to the video in this video,i'm going to show you how to set up,in-store pickup or collection as it's,sometimes known,in your fastest ecommerce website,builder package,so you might do this if you're a local,business and you need people to collect,or you do,food so you could sell it so someone can,come and collect food from your store,so if we go into our shop section of our,package which is where i am now and,we're going to go to,shipping and pick up and here we're,going to see our shipping options here,so we're going to choose,self pick up here so,again you if you've got more than one,option so for example you could have,in-store pickup,and curbside pickup you would do a,separate separate entry for each one but,for this,video i'm just going to do in-store,pickup so it could be click and collect,or whatever you want to call it really,but we'll call it in-store pickup now,first things first is you've got the,detailed instructions for customers,so they know where to go so what you see,is what you get,editor which means you can add in images,or anything like that that you need to,add a video potentially,if where they're collecting from is a,little bit confusing uh,so you can add all that in there if you,need to but you definitely need to make,sure,you've got the your address in there and,your business hours that they can,collect from,so you can set a pickup charge if you,want um and that says there's just,your amount you specifies tax inclusive,so i haven't got to worry about tax on,that,and ask for pick update and time at,checkout you can enable that and,you can have it so that your customers,can specify a time that they're going to,be collecting,and you've just got to enter your,business hours here just so that they,can't choose a time that you're not open,we're going to just disable that for a,second and so you've got,curbside or drive through pickup so if,you uh,if you offer a curbside or drive free,pickup instead you need to add another,option,and that's what it's just saying there,so um you could just,enter the instructions for any kind of,instructions they'd need so,ring the buzzer or anything like that,and you would enter that in the detailed,instructions for customers,okay we're going to go ahead and click,save there,okay and then we've got the summary and,we've got the pickup charge,and we've got the date and time picker,is disabled so this is all ready to go,now,but we can come back and edit it at any,time now you might,depending on your catalog you might have,different products that are only,available for collection,so if you have if we go to catalog and,products,we can set this by product so if you've,got something big and bulky for example,that you don't deliver,and it's collection only you could set,that we'll just set it for apples for,now just as an example,and but here if we go in here and go to,tax and shipping,what we can do is uh this product,requires,shipping or pickup we need to leave that,enabled and,we can spec

Walmart Grocery Pickup | How It Works and Tips

alright guys I'm going to show you how I,use the Walmart grocery app so first off,you open the app and on the front page,there is a reserved you hit the reserve,and this is where you get to pick what,day and then what time frame that you,want to do it so I like to do that nine,time frame usually and then you can,start adding stuff to your list now,there is a favorite section down here,anything I buy on a regular basis I add,it to this favorite tab because then all,you have to do is just scroll through,here and just start adding all the stuff,that you buy all the time like eggs and,milk and cheese anything for the kids,meats that you buy stuff that I bought a,regular basis I literally add it to my,favorites and so it's so easy just to,scroll through here add stuff to the,cart it's it's life-changing then at the,top here is where you can go see,everything that's in your basket you can,edit it from here as well,there is a thirty dollar minimum,on here it's so easy just to add you,know multiple quantities of that item,now I've met the 30 50 dollar mark and,then you can go down here at the bottom,and just hit checkout then it'll take,you to the next screen where you would,put in your card information or it has,your saved card card information and,then you check out from there good,morning guys so this is the morning I am,headed out to go get my groceries from,the grocery walmart grocery pick up 99%,of the time the kids are with me but,today andrew is home so I get to do this,peacefully and quietly I like to go if,I'm going any time during the week,between an 8 and 9 am a time frame if I,go on the weekends sometimes it'll be,Sunday right after church and I'll pick,the 12 to 1 and so I can go right after,church get what I need and come home so,today I'm by myself so I'm gonna take,you along on the process of getting the,groceries the first thing we need to do,is check in on our app and that lets,them know that we are on our way because,they do store the groceries in like,their little cooler area so they need to,pull that out check it all in and make,sure everything is there and then it's,ready for us when we pull up so let's,check in now ok so all we're going to do,is pull up our app,there is a checking button right here so,you just hit check-in so once you hit,that check-in button it pulls it up and,says you're only four eyes I'm only 14,minutes away they wants you to check in,when you're around ten minutes away so I,just check in right before I leave I,have forgot before and I pull up and I,say sorry I forgot to check in just,takes a little bit longer for them to,bring your groceries off there's time,that I've checked in I pulled up and,they're already pulling it out for me,because they saw that I pulled up so,make sure you check in is key to make,sure it's there and ready for you so now,let's go get our groceries so at my,Walmart they actually have signs and,written on the ground making sure you're,go in the right directions you know,exactly where to

iPhone 14 Pro Max Unboxing and Apple Store Pickup Experience

foreign,good morning Colin here with tech out,and today we're going to be unboxing the,iPhone 14 pro Max this is the,space block 128 uh configuration I,didn't go for anything too crazy,um I usually don't use a whole lot of,storage,um so I'll probably really only use,about half that,um I picked this up at the Apple Store I,did not pre-order this time because I,was um on vacation when pre-orders went,live and I kind of missed that window to,get it today,um so I decided I would go up to the,Apple Store a couple hours before they,open and take my chances and it turns,out it paid off,um it was a very good experience um up,at the Apple Store they opened at eight,um and I was out by 8 15.,um and I got there about 6 15 and got in,line there were about 20 people in front,of me they came out about seven o'clock,took everybody's um you know what they,wanted and let you know what they had,um so you're kind of basically in you,know you preserved one at that point,um so you didn't have to wait in line,until eight o'clock to find out they,didn't have it and they let everybody,get two per transactions it was one,phone and one Apple watch or two phones,or two apple watches,um and then if you wanted more you had,to get back in line,um so I'm glad they did that cut down on,anybody trying to resell or anything,like that,um you know it was two per two per,person per transaction,um if you if you wanted to get more you,could hop back in line after you left,um so kind of kept it fair for everybody,they play music handed out water that,kind of stuff so very good pickup,experience at the Apple Store,um like I said this is the 14 pro Max,we're just gonna do a quick unboxing and,uh and take a look at it,so I got that out,all right,looks pretty much similar to space gray,um I wouldn't really call it totally,black almost kind of hoping more for,like a matte black but it's pretty,similar to the space Gray,um we have your sleep wake volume power,all laid out right there tells you what,it is shows your charge port is down,here on the bottom,take that off and you can kind of see,the,um Dynamic Islander right there very,very hard to see with it off but you can,kind of see the the sensor cut out here,on the camera cut out here,and then we have all your cameras and,stuff on the back hopefully this will,fit in my uh 13 Pro Max case until I can,get a case for it but I did get,AppleCare on and everything already at,the Apple Store,um so it feels just like a 13 Pro Max,really nothing different until you turn,it on and you have that Dynamic Island,it looks like there is screen in the,middle of between the sensor and the,camera and then above it as well,let me see if it shows that on the,um yes I guess there's no screen right,here that actually does anything but,there is above it,and then right here we get your,lightning to,uh USBC adapter of course you don't get,a wall adapter in the box and then this,year you do not get a sim removal tool,because there is no sim slot and there,is a litt

Walmart Pickup Tower AKA Giant Vending Machine: How Does It Work???

what's going on rich tomorrow here rich,on tech at the Lancaster California,Walmart and I wanted to take you inside,here because they have some really cool,and really new technology in here let me,show it to you it's called the pickup,tower and this thing is massive you,can't miss it when you walk into the,store it's a place where you can pick up,your online order come on take a look so,this is the pickup tower it's 16 feet,tall and it's basically a giant vending,machine that is just chock full of,goodies all the stuff that people order,online if they choose the online Tower,pick up next thing you know they come,into the store when they get a text and,they pick up their item so let me show,you how it works I placed an order and,once you place an order it verifies that,it's in the store you come on over here,to the Machine and look at this do you,see how it just kind of opened up so,come on in close so I've get my little,barcode here this is the barcode that,they sent me from my item and all I have,to do is literally scan it so before I,do that let me show you around the,machine come on because this thing is so,big I mean 16 feet tall they tell me,that it holds hundreds of items they,won't tell me exactly how many but,hundreds come on all the way around you,can see there's even a little vent,because this is a real working machine,so there are mechanics inside there are,things happening in there,all kind of like little I'm assuming,it's kind of like little slots inside,where it's storing the items for easy,retrieval you've got some bars here so,that people don't knock into it come on,around this side and this thing is,pretty massive,I mean people probably come into the,store just to take pictures with this,thing and over here is kind of an extra,Bank of Locker so if your item doesn't,fit in the machine because it's only so,big that those things can hold it will,go into this overflow locker and so when,you scan your item one of these lockers,will pop open if you notice there are,different sizes so this is kind of this,is where this is this will be my locker,right here this looks like it would have,a nice yeah nice flat-screen TV I think,they can fit like maybe a 30 40 42 inch,right in there all right so now we're,gonna pick up my item and I love how,this thing just gently glides open so,I'm gonna scan my barcode and watch how,fast this is because I've already tried,this and you cannot believe how fast,come on in close you ready because it,happened so fast you blink and you might,miss it so I'm a scan my barcode watch,this says scan order number watch this,ready scan it look how fast that was to,retrieve my item now you can't really,see inside but there's open look at that,it's already there,oh it actually was not opening because,my hands were in the way okay hi what's,up pickup Tower and if I can't okay oh,saying door closing it wants me to get,out of there but there you go so now,I've got my little item and I can just,literally walk out of the stor

Setting up LOCAL PICKUP in Shopify!

friends cheryl Woodhouse here with,another Shopify tutorial today we're,going to be talking about a little-known,feature that Shopify has quietly,implemented that is really helpful right,now for physical stores slash retail,Merchants we're trying to move to,e-commerce due to social distancing and,the pandemic requirements so this is,local pickup for online orders using,this option you can let your customers,pick up their online orders at your,retail store or curbside or any other,location you choose you get to set the,address the only downside with this that,I have found is that you cannot choose,not to offer delivery you cannot do,pickup only and so I'm going to show you,a little bit what I mean I'm gonna pop,back into my super Deb store with my,Tyrannosaurus Rex t-shirts and all of,the other fun things that I sell in here,and I'm going to set this up to show you,how it works if we go all the way down,to the bottom under settings it's okay,so this isn't in your top left bar where,you would normally manage your products,or look at your analytics going all the,way down to your settings on the left,hand side and you're going to peak into,shipping now this is normally where you,would go to set up your shipping rates,your shipping labels all of these other,things okay but right now we're not,going to worry about any of that we're,gonna go all the way down to the bottom,below accounts and integrations and,under additional delivery methods you,will see local pickup give the customers,the option to pick up their online order,at one of your locations okay this is,incredibly simple to set up you just,click set local pickup set their,expected pickup time now for some of you,who are doing set pickup days and times,I recommend setting it in two to four,days and then give specific instructions,on one pickup as a bill,here you don't want to say five plus,days because people will be disappointed,you don't want to say in one hour,because they'll show up outside of the,scheduled time but for those of you who,are still operating with normal hours,but only allowing pickup in your store,or preferring to offer pickup at your,store you can set whenever your your,order will be ready okay and then here,you have 255 characters that you can use,to offer instruction so bring your,confirmation email when you come to,collect your order if you'll be asking,for a photo ID say if these are high,value items it's important for you to,specify that here so that everyone,brings their identification tell them,where to park what number to call to let,you know that they're there if you're,offering curbside pickup rather than,in-store pickup all the various things,that you want your customers to know,before they come to pick up their,products should be put here in the,pickup instructions I'm just going to,type hooray,for pickup because this isn't a real,store and we'll click enable pickup this,is just showing off my fancy address,here now if we go into the online store,I'm just gonna cl
