hi,and welcome to the video in this video,i'm going to show you how to set up,in-store pickup or collection as it's,sometimes known,in your fastest ecommerce website,builder package,so you might do this if you're a local,business and you need people to collect,or you do,food so you could sell it so someone can,come and collect food from your store,so if we go into our shop section of our,package which is where i am now and,we're going to go to,shipping and pick up and here we're,going to see our shipping options here,so we're going to choose,self pick up here so,again you if you've got more than one,option so for example you could have,in-store pickup,and curbside pickup you would do a,separate separate entry for each one but,for this,video i'm just going to do in-store,pickup so it could be click and collect,or whatever you want to call it really,but we'll call it in-store pickup now,first things first is you've got the,detailed instructions for customers,so they know where to go so what you see,is what you get,editor which means you can add in images,or anything like that that you need to,add a video potentially,if where they're collecting from is a,little bit confusing uh,so you can add all that in there if you,need to but you definitely need to make,sure,you've got the your address in there and,your business hours that they can,collect from,so you can set a pickup charge if you,want um and that says there's just,your amount you specifies tax inclusive,so i haven't got to worry about tax on,that,and ask for pick update and time at,checkout you can enable that and,you can have it so that your customers,can specify a time that they're going to,be collecting,and you've just got to enter your,business hours here just so that they,can't choose a time that you're not open,we're going to just disable that for a,second and so you've got,curbside or drive through pickup so if,you uh,if you offer a curbside or drive free,pickup instead you need to add another,option,and that's what it's just saying there,so um you could just,enter the instructions for any kind of,instructions they'd need so,ring the buzzer or anything like that,and you would enter that in the detailed,instructions for customers,okay we're going to go ahead and click,save there,okay and then we've got the summary and,we've got the pickup charge,and we've got the date and time picker,is disabled so this is all ready to go,now,but we can come back and edit it at any,time now you might,depending on your catalog you might have,different products that are only,available for collection,so if you have if we go to catalog and,products,we can set this by product so if you've,got something big and bulky for example,that you don't deliver,and it's collection only you could set,that we'll just set it for apples for,now just as an example,and but here if we go in here and go to,tax and shipping,what we can do is uh this product,requires,shipping or pickup we need to leave that,enabled and,we can spec

Setting Collection and Delivery | Square Online

today we're going to run through how to,adjust your pickup and delivery settings,setting up pickup offering click and,collect for online orders,gives your local customers a convenient,alternative to delivery or dining in,you can enable collection from,fulfillment pickup and delivery,find your location and make sure accept,pickup orders is enabled,under the desired location click edit,location,under order timing settings you can,enable scheduled pickups,which allows a customer to choose a,pickup time of their choosing,under pickup settings choose whether you,want to enable curbside pickup which,allows customers,to call you when they are outside your,business make sure you've added a,business phone number,under your general settings you can also,provide,additional instructions for your,customers on how to get their pickup,orders,click save within each settings screen,to return to your main location settings,page,setting up delivery with square online,you can offer,local delivery to your customers using,your own in-house delivery couriers,to enable delivery for the first time,toggle accept,delivery orders to change your existing,delivery settings,click edit location on the right hand,menu,scroll to delivery settings and click,edit,choose your delivery area customers,outside this area will not be able to,place orders for delivery from this,location,next decide whether you want to charge a,delivery fee to your customers,you can require a minimum order amount,to be eligible for in-house delivery,set your estimated delivery time it's,good to set a range that allows enough,time from taking the order,and getting it to the customer's door a,separate service fee,can also be charged to customers lastly,you can allow your customer to choose no,contact deliveries,this will enable the customer to add,instructions for the courier at checkout,pickup and delivery management in order,to use pickup and delivery,you must set pickup and delivery,business hours,enable the slider at the top if you wish,to set your pickup and,delivery to the same errors the default,hours,are monday to friday 9 am to 5 pm,but you can edit these hours check the,box for each day of the week that you,will offer in-store pickup,and then enter the hours for each day,you can add multiple time frames with,breaks in between,with a given day by clicking the plus,button,this will allow you to exclude specific,errors,which is handy if you would prefer not,to handle in-store pickups,during regular busy periods click,save returning to the location settings,you can choose an appropriate order prep,time under order timing settings,you can set this anywhere from,immediately to,as long as 12 weeks does your prep time,vary depending on the item,you can specify a prep time at the item,level as well,simply edit the item from your item,library and scroll down to the,fulfillment section,the prep time you select from the,drop-down menu will only apply to this,item returning to the order timing,settings,you can
