How to Start LIVE Selling on Shopify? (Step by Step Tutorial)

hello hope you're doing amazing today i,want to show you once you download the,quick app inside shopify how easy it is,for you to live stream and sell within,your website and with quick so the first,step is for you to,go to the quick profile inside the,shopify app store then you go and you,click this green button called add app,then from there you'll be able to create,a quick account and sync your products,and inventory now what's amazing is that,there is no integration fee or monthly,cost for you to use quick,so i'm going to use an example that,already has an already done the,connection so as you hear you see here,you get quick within your sales channels,and here in this specific example you,have four products synced so you go here,to go to the quick app,and here you'll be able to see the,products that you've already synced now,to do the live stream it is very very,very simple so you have to go to the,live stream page and here you click the,add button the purple one then you'll be,able to add a name to the life that you,want to do the products that you wish,you want that you want to sell a,promotional banner and when it starts so,here at the bottom i've already created,one for this example and all you have to,do to add this to your shopify website,this live you click the add live to my,website and you'll be able to copy this,code,and i'm gonna go ahead and start the,live right now and you'll see all you,have to do is click play,and right away uh you're gonna be live,and you can,say hi to your um your viewers now this,live i'm going to take it into my,shopify website now i go to my shopify,dashboard i go to the sales channel and,online store and i'm going to start and,put it in a new page now you can also,add it to a page that already exists so,here i add a new page,i put a nice,a nice title,i paste the code,and that's it,now if i view the page and this is the,the page that the the viewer that your,customers are going to see you'll see,that,your,live is now on your website and here,the viewers can ask you any questions,through the chat and you also be able to,answer them either on on the chat or you,can ask them to answer them directly on,on the on the live and here at the,bottom you'll be able to see the,products now what's amazing is,as the user uh is looking at the,products uh they actually are able to,see you in the little picture picture so,they never miss a second of the live,while they decide to buy now the last,thing that i want to show you is how,this live also,will show up in the quick app,and here you'll see,here you see a show up,and,they'll be able to watch it,just like they would on your website,they'll be able to select the products,that they that they want to buy and it's,the same the same process they are able,to see you and never miss a second while,you do all your life and if they want to,add it to the card they will add to the,card and then go to the checkout page,you

so this is a quick video to show you the,different settings that are available to,you on sold live so if i click over to,my settings tab,um you can see some various,customization options so obviously your,facebook page instagram page facebook,group are all available there um and,then you can choose some different,things that are customizable for your,store so for example my cart hold time i,could choose,uh that my card six fire after x hours,or x days,i could also choose a specific day and,time of the week that my cards expire,and then related to that there's a wait,list so say that there's two items in,stock and three people comment for it,the first two item the first two people,that comment um get it held for them,for the whole time that you ex that you,specify here,and then a third person gets wait listed,they'll get prompted to click a button,to add themselves to the waitlist,and then once they do that,if those,if one of those first two people don't,buy and then their card expires,then the waitlisted person will get,message saying hey it's you know,good news it's now your turn to buy,so we recommend turning that on,purchase reminders will post um kind of,a reminder for folks who,have something held in their cart but,they haven't purchased yet,an overlay is what you can use with our,mobile overlay app,and this basically displays an overlay,kind of at the top of your screen that,could show the product title the,different options and you can even show,like how to comment as well,um you know when you use your overlay,you'll basically have uh the mobile,overlay app installed uh we have an,iphone app in a,an android app,and the,login,you'll use is your shopify email address,and then you can change and specify your,password through here,some folks like to scan all their,products so that the overlay updates,kind of automatically and dynamically,so if you have this on this gives you,the option to scan your products,and that will update the overlay for you,if you don't have a barcode scanner or,if you turn this option off you'll,basically create an overlay playlist,and that will allow you to uh to change,the overlays,discounts you can basically give a,global discount to anyone who shops from,your live,you can specify a certain percentage or,a certain dollar off or free shipping,here,finally live announcements so,if any of your folks comment the word,subscribe on any of your posts they're,automatically,subscribed to hear from you when you go,live so you can customize the message,that gets sent whenever you go live,we'll detect that you're live and it,will automatically send this out to,anyone who's subscribed,so those are the basics,if you have any questions feel free to,reach out thanks

hi i'm corey with the customer education,team here at comet sold,in this video i want to walk you through,how you can go live on facebook using,stream keys,stream keys allow retailers to go live,using comment sold and facebook's,additional live engagement features,let's go,here we are on our comment soul,dashboard,to go live on facebook using stream keys,you'll start a live sale just as you,would going live through comments sold,we'll head to live in the side menu,and we'll select live overview at the,top of the page,your first step will be to start your,broadcast feed using your cs broadcast,app on either your ios or android device,you'll be able to preview that feed here,in this window,your next step will be to select which,products you will feature in your live,sale,i already have a product selection,so i will select that,and select next,here's where the steps will deviate from,a traditional live sale,when you select choose where to go live,you are going to select copy and paste,stream urls,you should notice that there are new,fields beneath your facebook page and,your facebook group,now when you go live on facebook using,stream keys you have two options,your first is to go live on your page,only,this will create a live sale event on,your facebook page and share that event,via a post on your group,the important thing to note with this,option is that shoppers in your group,will need to comment on the live sale,video not the facebook post to claim,items,your second option is to go live on your,facebook page and your facebook group,this will create live sale events in,both locations,in this video we will show you how to go,live on both your facebook page and your,facebook group,you'll notice at the top of the screen,that i have both my facebook page and my,facebook group open in separate tabs,you will need to perform the steps i'm,about to show you on a desktop as the,create live events are not available on,a mobile device,additionally you'll need to keep both of,these tabs open throughout your entire,live sale,if you close either of these tabs it,will end the live sale in that location,let's take care of our facebook page,first i'll select this checkbox here so,that comment cell knows that i want to,go live on my page,and then i'm going to head over into,facebook here i am on my facebook page,on the right side of the page on this,create line i'm going to select live,and in this go live section,i'm going to select create new,on the left side of the page i'll want,to make sure that i'm broadcasting my,live sale to the correct page,and i'll want to select my when am i,going live for now,on the right side of the page i'm going,to add my post details this is the title,and the description of the post that,will appear above your live sale video,your title is required but the,description is optional,give me a moment,once i've entered my title and my,description i can proceed with copying,and pasting my stream keys,i want to make sure that streaming,soft

we have just barely changed to comment,sold,which is a uh processing,um system which we love because it takes,us so much less time and invoicing,and and we'll talk a little bit about,those two so well to kind of go about it,when we first started out doing facebook,lives,it would be you would show a piece and,then you would,um people would claim them in the,comments and so as they're going live,we'd be pulling these pieces and shoving,them in cubbies or in buckets,yeah and trying to watch all the,comments like that,it's and there's still people that do,that and oh my gosh we were missing,orders we were missing,and and then we at the end if you have,600 comments that takes hours to go,through,then you have to find all their,addresses all their emails,and to invoice them and then you figure,what if they don't pay,benefit then they sit in the cubby and,if they don't pay then i have to repo,them and once they do pay i have to take,them then we'll go ship them whereas,on quiet live and comments sold it,automatically does it it,it pulls the comments out of your cup,so when you say bye,and i know okay this is tied to zero,zero one it's in my system,so once it's in the system the comment,that system,takes the comment from facebook from,that live and those comments,and it will already it will put it in a,cart for that person,so then and that system invoices them,yes and voices them,i don't have to sample nightmare voice,that was like forever,those of you guys that are sitting here,still which you guys know,if you're pulling orders and doing it,this way it,is a very time consuming so if you were,to switch to a system that if you were,to,be able to not have to invoice anyone,anymore,if you were to not have to pre-pull,orders,that once you have an order you pull it,at that time,yeah and no repose yeah no you don't,have to deal with repose but the other,great thing is,so say that i claimed this and i didn't,pay for it,well mom claimed this piece too well,since i didn't pay for it in the 24,hours or in whatever time you want on,there,she's on a waiting list so i didn't pay,for it it goes to her,and the system puts it in my cart now or,sends me a text says do you still want,this piece and then you can claim yes or,no i set it up i'm buy it live it's 24,hours i know comments sold you can,adjust the times,i'm leaving mine at 24 hours they have,24 hours to check out if they're not,going to pay me in 24 hours,they're not going to pay me so that's as,long as they can hold their card,but there's some exactly there's some,people that,that have it set up that they only want,to invoice,that people only want to pay once a week,it's whatever with your customers and,you can work that out and,and see what is the best which that was,kind of hard for mom to get used to at,the beginning yes because some people,want to pay,and and i do if you buy five pieces you,get free shipping,we pay thousands of dollars every single,month in shipping,because they buy five or more but that,ge

- No one can deny the importance of video,in growing your business and its ability,to quickly nurture your audience.,In this video, I'm gonna show you,the four requirements necessary,to get somebody to buy from you,and the exact flow of your live streams,that will help convert your viewers into buyers.,(mystical music),Live streams can be great for your Facebook page,and also for your Facebook groups.,Now, we often think that Facebook lives,are only useful for a certain amount of time,before they stopped getting engagement.,But I'm gonna show you one simple trick,to help you breathe new life into your Facebook lives.,But first let's hop into the four requirements,in order for someone to make a purchase,and the exact video flow.,Number one, you have to be able to state,exactly what problem you're solving and they have to agree,they have that problem.,Number two, you have to agree that you are the one,to solve that problem.,Which means they have to believe,that you have the credentials, the background,,or the knowledge in order to solve that problem.,Number three, you have to be able to show them,that they are going to get a particular result,that you can provide and that they want.,And number four, you have to make,solving that problem now a priority.,If you can get all these four requirements down,within your live stream, then you are well on your way,to getting them to say yes,to buying your products and services.,So what does your live stream actually look like?,Here's the exact video flow.,Your first few, maybe 30 to 60 seconds,are going to be you just being a regular human,,kind of like an icebreaker.,Mention maybe what you've been doing that day,,say a little joke, tell them something,that's been challenging.,You want to be seen as a regular person doing regular things,before you're about to hop in and blow their mind,with all of your awesome content.,Number two, you wanna set up their frustration?,How do they feel right now?,What, they wish something was different,and they're feeling frustrated or upset,or angry or overwhelmed by one particular idea or topic,and they wish it would change.,You wanna highlight that frustration.,So then you can set up,how you're gonna make their life easier and better.,Number three, the why you story.,If we want them to believe that you,actually have the knowledge to help solve their problem,,then you have to tell them where that knowledge comes from.,Talk about a past story, a past experience, credentials.,You have to make sure they know,that your somebody worth listening to,and potentially buying from.,Number four, setting up the transformation.,Imagine a world where is a really great phrase to use,to let them see what the world could look like,after they're done working with you,or after they've gotten the result they're hoping for.,Setting up the frustration, telling the why you story,and setting up a transformation all equals,about two to four minutes of content.,And number five is all about the training,
