AirTags vs Samsung SmartTag vs Tile - The ULTIMATE Comparison!
AirTags vs Samsung SmartTag vs Tile - The ULTIMATE Comparison!
we bought the most popular trackers on,the market from apple's airtag,to samsung smart tag to tile literally, every single tile in order to see which, one is the king,of trackers we're covering everything, from finding to the app ui,to the speakers to form factory to the, batteries and so,much more so get a snacks ready and, let's see what we can find out, about these trackers,my favorite part about the air tag is,that you can track, anything including your pet thanks to,follow paw,our sponsor for this video faul paw is a,special type of dog collar, with an air tag slot giving your dog two,big benefits, one you can see where your dog is on the,map and two anyone can just hold their, phone close to the collar to get the, owner's contact info, without a need to get the dog's,microchip scanned fall paw is made out,of sustainable cork leather with a,secure one-handed opening magnetic, buckle check it out using the link below, now when it comes to the trackers the, most important thing is of course, how well they can track therefore we,went on an adventure, harry and connor from my team took all,of our tags, and walked around manchester while i was, checking each tracker, from the office to see which one pinged, the most, harry and connor's phones had bluetooth, disabled so that the trackers could not, connect to them, and they went to four different, locations from quiet,to fairly busy in terms of the first, location the samsung tag was the first, one to ping,at 10 53 followed by the attack two, minutes later, then both the air tag and the samsung, pinged again at 10 57.,no pings at all from the tiles but keep,in mind that this was the location with, the fewest amount of people around, then they went to location 2 which was, slightly more crowded, and here the air tech paint first at,1109 followed by the samsung just two, minutes away, and still nothing from the tiles which, was a bit concerning at this point then, they moved to location 3 which was even, more crowded, and here the samsung tag pinged first at,11 19,followed by the air attack just a minute, later followed by the samsung again,at 11 21 then the air tag two minutes, later, and then the samsung tag once again at,11 26,and still nothing from the tiles keep in,mind that this was literally in,manchester city center so,there were quite a number of people, around yet nothing in terms of the tiles, and finally harry and connor went to,location number four which was by far,the busiest, where the air attack pinged first, followed by the samsung tag just three, minutes later, followed by the samsung again and then, finally the tiles which all paint, for the first time and at the same time,so judging by this you would assume that, samsung and apple are by far the best, trackers, with basically no difference at all in,between, but this is not entirely correct you see, from the beginning of the tracking test, the longest delay for the airtech pink, was 13 minutes, whereas samsung's never got any longer, than 4 minutes, and tile was at 50 minutes at one point,s

Everything The Samsung Galaxy Smart Tag Can Do !
Everything The Samsung Galaxy Smart Tag Can Do !
so i first hesitated to make a full, video about the new galaxy smart tag,due to its simplicity but actually this, tag is more than a bluetooth tracker and, does much more with samsung integration,so these are the full features that the, galaxy smart tag,can do so the galaxy smart tag connects,to the smartthings app,and will be there like any other smart, home device and accessing it here will, give you all the features, first thing you can do is to change the,tag name like keys in case it will be,tracking your keys or luggage,in that case just choose the tag tap the, three dots, then edit and type whatever name you'd,like, once the tag is attached to your, belongings tap this view map option to,open map so you can see its last updated, location, since this is the bluetooth tracker it,will get its slash location from your, phone,so if you leave it behind its last, location will be the last time it was, disconnected from your phone, you have several options to find it if,it is in your phone's bluetooth range, you can either ring it and follow the, sound,or tap the search option that will bring, out this circle, move your phone around and the circle, will get fuller when you approach the, tag, and emptier when you get far away, according to my experience, this signal is not accurate enough to,trust as it sometimes get fuller when i,walk away from the smart tag,it's a hit or miss otherwise if the tag,is outside the bluetooth range, then you can navigate to its last seen, location using the map, this smart tag has a button here you can,set the tag to find your phone when, activating this option, and that's by clicking the tags button, twice your phone will ring on full, volume, even if it is on silent mode and now, this is when things get more interesting, the samsung smartthing integration gives, the tag a better purpose and sets it,apart from other bluetooth trackers, because you can use it for smart home, automation and that's by mapping the, button single press and, press and hold actions you can map it to,control the device like turning on and, off,a light and changing its color, controlling the tv like muting it,or even starting a samsung smart washer, cycle, you can also set it to notify a house, member of your choice, let's say you are in trouble you can set,it to send a custom emergency, notification to a family member when, stepping, house members could be invited from the, smartthings app in the members option, although that saw a video with an option,to send a text message to any phone, number when pressing,i'm not able to find this option so i,think it might be depending on your, region at the moment,or you can set it to run a preconfigured, smartthings scene,or to change the home security mode if,you have an alarm system,i personally set it up like this when i,tap and hold the button, the going out scene will run which will, turn off all lights and the tv in the, apartment when i'm headed outside, while i set the single pressed around, the homecoming scene,so the lights turns on when i come back

Extremely Useful NFC Home Automation Ideas!
Extremely Useful NFC Home Automation Ideas!
i've been putting nfc tags all over my,house seriously every room has an nfc,tag now and they're so useful i'll take, you around my house and show you tons of,ideas that i'm using right now,but i'm warning you you might have nfc, tags in your shopping cart by the end of,this video it's alright though they're,really inexpensive, okay let's go outside for the first idea,so we're here on the side of my house, and one thing that's cool about nfc tags,is that they don't need a battery so,they work outdoors because they're,waterproof and i have one attached to,this recycling bin and this one's cool, because it has a hole in the middle so,it was really easy to attach using zip, ties because you know it needs to stay, super secure and the way it works is,normally i get a reminder on my phone to,wheel out the trash bins to the side of,the street, but sometimes i forget and now my smart, home will remind me over and over again, until i actually come out here and then,i just scan my phone to the nfc tag and, then it will stop reminding me you can,use this for any kind of reminders, around your house you know taking, vitamins or feeding your dog,i mean favorite child,so another useful thing about nfc tags,is yes they don't require a battery but,you also don't need to have them, connected to your home's wi-fi so i have,a couple here in the car and when i'm,out and about my thermostats are in away, mode so my home is kind of warm and when,i want to cool it before i head home i,have an nfc tag here in this console, that i can just scan on my phone and, that will send all my thermostats back, into cooling mode so my house is already, nice and cool by the time i get home and, another really useful thing nfc tags are, actually pretty secure because normally,in a car you might have a garage door, opener but anybody could use this that, they broke into your car but with the,nfc tag you have to have a phone that's,unlocked so i have a little nfc sticker, right behind my visor and if i'm heading, home,i can just scan that and that will open,up my garage door right as i'm about to,pull up to the house so it opens up,early enough to pull in and it's super, convenient and i have a few other nfc,tag ideas in the car in a previous nfc, video that i'll link down in the, description so we're here in the laundry, room and i have a couple of smart washer, and dryer and they don't really stay, connected to the wi-fi so i added a,couple of nfc stickers and they blend in,well because they're just little white, dots and the way it works is that when,it's time to start laundry you just scan, the tag and it will start a timer in,your smart home that way if you're,across the house the echoes will let you, know when the washing machine is done to,move over your clothes the washing, machine is finished but what's really, awesome is if the washing machine, finishes early you can just come up and, scan the tag again and it will cancel, out the timer and that way it's not, annoying you by notifying you again so,here in the bath

Car tracking: Apple AirTag v Samsung SmartTag+ v GPS comparison review: Which is best?
Car tracking: Apple AirTag v Samsung SmartTag+ v GPS comparison review: Which is best?
g'day i'm paul so if you own old cars, like i do or even have new cars that, don't have, gps tracking maybe you've considered, buying one of these to stick inside the,car so you can track it it's the apple, air tag,and the samsung galaxy smart tag plus, how well do they actually work, though at tracking your car if it's,stolen that's what we're going to find, out today,we're comparing both of these against a,device that's specifically built for, tracking your car, this has gps inside it and an lte, connection, also has an emergency mode so it can, give you fairly real-time updates on,where your car's located, now if you haven't done so already make, sure you subscribe to our channel and, press the bell icon so you can find out, every single time we do one of these car, tech slash explainer videos but let's,get started, now before we go for drive and test all,of this stuff out i just wanted to,explain how this technology works, regardless of whether you go for the, apple or the samsung device both of them, use what's called, ultra wide band technology now this, isn't new it's been around since the, early 2000s,and it transmits data across a wide, radio bandwidth it sends pulses every, other nanosecond and it can use a,bandwidth between 500 megahertz and, several gigahertz depending on the, device, and that helps it avoid interference,it's also inherently secure, ultra wideband has the ability to,encrypt data it also has the ability to,do random number generation and, cryptography as well, let's start off with the apple air tag,i'll explain how this works so inside, this is an,apple u1 chip plus a small battery, the idea behind this is as you're,walking around or driving around, this is able to use other apple devices,to transmit your location so this, doesn't have gps or anything inside it,all it does is when an apple device goes, past it detects, one of these and it transmits the exact, gps location, back to apple's servers securely and, then the person that owns this device, and only the person that owns this, device, can see where its last location was that, means you're opening yourself up to a,network of around one and a half, billion apple devices globally that can, transmit the location,of one of these devices so you can see, here that this is incredibly scalable, and the concept behind this is really, smart because this doesn't use a great, deal of power, and then any apple device that's near it,can actually help locate, this which in turn will locate your car,now what about the samsung device well, this operates pretty much in the same, way as the apple device except, where the apple device can only be found,by apple devices this one here can, actually be found by,samsung devices and only samsung devices,so that means that you will use a,network of android devices, samsung galaxies to find the location of,this item and then it transmits the data,to,google servers and it comes back down to,you so you can find the precise location,of your device, this one's slightly different though a,double tap of

Using A Samsung Smart Tag To Track My Bags AROUND THE WORLD! Galaxy Smart Tag Review
Using A Samsung Smart Tag To Track My Bags AROUND THE WORLD! Galaxy Smart Tag Review
i took this samsung smart tag with me,halfway around the world from vietnam, back to los angeles california and then, from los angeles california back to,vietnam now originally i bought this, smart tag because i had heard tons of,horror stories of people having their, luggage lost on connecting flights in,the united states because of labor, shortages and a bunch of other stuff, now i had some filming to do in los, angeles i had a couple of filmmaking, items in that bag and i wanted to make, sure that i wasn't going to lose it so i,bought one of these i stuck it in the,bag and this was in my checked luggage, the entire time now today we're going to,talk about what that experience was like, whether or not i thought it was worth, the 30 or so that these cost right now,and whether or not you might want to,pick one up what's up guys my name is,mitchell i'm fluent in tech so you don't,need to be and if you guys want to go,ahead and support this channel the best, way to do it is just to give the video a,like it helps me out a lot now i know, that there's been a lot of content, online about the apple air tags but, samsung has their version of that as,well and they've actually had the, samsung smart tags for quite a while now,the samsung smart tags run on the, samsung find my network on the find my,galaxy network which is samsung's,equivalent to the find my network that, apple has and really you are going to,have a very very, varied, user experience depending upon what, country you're in now first here in,vietnam when i got this i put it on my,motorbike i tested it out left my,motorbike uh in like the parking, structure i wanted to see if i was going,to get updates for this how often those, updates would be,and here in vietnam we have a fair, amount of samsung users meaning that my,coverage here was pretty good,on my on my next stopover that i had in,tokyo i had a 13 hour layover which was, horrendous, japan is mostly an iphone market so my,user experience and my ability to track,my luggage as it was taken off of my,plane was just sitting around waiting, and then loaded onto another plane was, definitely limited because japan has, significantly less, samsung galaxy users than vietnam, now on my next stopover that i had in,honolulu hawaii because that's america, america has a ton of samsung galaxy, users meaning i had great visibility, with this tag when i got the united, states and my the same experience was, there for me,all around los angeles because of the, amount of samsung users these smart tags, were quite effective, now this version of the smart tag is not,the smart tag plus meaning it doesn't,have the ultra wide band bluetooth to,give you the augmented reality to find,it,that said i've heard very mixed reports, about the smart tag plus about their, battery life and about other issues and,i think that if you just are looking to,get something to put on your checked, luggage to track it this is probably a,better option unless you absolutely need, that ultra wide band now, would i buy this again

The Smart Tag Explained / Samsung Galaxy SmartTag Review!
The Smart Tag Explained / Samsung Galaxy SmartTag Review!
hey guys, hope you're doing well so this is a,smart tag, this particular one is from samsung and,i didn't buy it,it came as part of the pre-order deal, with the s21 ultra along with their new, buds pro, anyway the smart tag existed already, from a company called tile, and now it seems apple is also jumping,on board so,what is a smart tag simply put it's a,small bluetooth tracker which can help, you to locate your lost, items but we'll go over everything it,can do in just a bit,now the tag is small and comes with a,hole which lets you attach it to your, keychain,or pet if you use a chunky wallet it,will fit in that too, although it doesn't really fit into, smaller card only wallets like this one,the tag uses a cr2032 battery which is,the same kind of battery that is usually, used in wrist watches,it's a low power battery and this, charges very slowly so you should expect,to get around a year of use before, needing to replace it,if you do need to replace it there's a,small notch at the bottom of the smart, tag, don't try to use your fingernails, because you will break them, also don't use anything too solid like a,flathead screwdriver because you will, damage the plastic, samsung recommends you to use a guitar, pick or a credit card,i don't play the guitar so i went with, the credit card which does work but you,may end up damaging the card in the, process so if you can,use an old card you don't care about, once open, just replace the battery making sure,it's facing the same way,and then close the casing shut if you, need to check the battery level you can, open the smartthings, app on your phone tap menu and then tap,all devices, select your smart tag and it will, display an estimated battery level, right let's have a look at how it works, connecting it to your phone,is very simple if you don't have a,samsung phone you'll need their app, called, smart things once you have that just, open the app,and press the button on the smart tag a,pop-up will appear once it is detected, and then you can simply add it now in,case that doesn't work, like for me when i removed the tag so i,could show you the setup process, you can add it manually as well by going,to menu, all devices add device and then scan, nearby, once it's set up you can use the, smartthings app to,find the tag now there is a map which, allows you to see, roughly where the tag is provided you,are within range, the theoretical maximum range is 120,meters,but in reality it will be lower because,of walls doors and, other hard surfaces if you need help, finding the tag there are a few options, available, the first one is called search nearby, and this will bring up a screen, that allows you to see the signal, strength the closer you get to your, smart tag the stronger the signal gets,it works well even if you're already in,the same room and it's a good option if,you want to find your tag without making,a bunch of noise, the next option is called navigate and, this basically brings up google maps so,you can get back to your tag,now if your tag is this f

AirTags vs Tile vs SmartTags - Full Ultimate Comparison!
AirTags vs Tile vs SmartTags - Full Ultimate Comparison!
apple just released their brand new air, tags and today we're gonna see,how do they compare to their biggest, competitors we have, the tile pro these were the first ones,in the game and then of course their, biggest, rival in the smartphone game samsung and, their, smart tag and we're going to be,comparing things such as the features, the size and weight the loudness of the, speakers which you can't you know tell, based upon spec sheet, and also the range where you can, actually find them and then how long it,takes, for a different phone to actually pick,up one of these devices,so you know approximately how long, you'll have to wait if you lose your, item, and we'll see how the networks with, these devices compare, now believe it or not the air tags are, actually the least expensive, out of the bunch you can buy one for 29,compared to 30 dollars with samsung, smart tag or 35,for tile but then if you buy a four pack, they come in at 25 dollars, each if you buy a four pack of the tile, they actually drop down to that same 25,which is competitive, but samsung's they didn't used to have a,four pack they're offering it now but, there's no price, listed now along with that air tags is,the only one that has a u1 chip built in,we'll talk about that in just a bit, samsung is coming out with a better, version of this that will also have that,u1 chip or the ultra wide band,to help you find it but that one's going,to cost 40,let's go and see how the tile compares,as far as,size and weight so wow as far as,thickness it actually seems,a little bit thinner but of course you, guys can see the size difference the, tile is,definitely larger has a much bigger, footprint if i put the air tag on top,you guys notice, the difference right there all right, let's open up our smart tag,and it seems to be somewhere in the, middle it's actually a little bit, thicker now actually noticeably thicker, than the air tag we got a button there, and size wise it is bigger than the,air tag but not as big footprint wise as,tile now one obvious difference is that, the air tag while it's smaller it,doesn't have a little cutout, for your key ring so you can't just, directly attach it,without an accessory so as you guys see,i have my other air tag here, and i had to buy one of these, accessories i actually bought a ton of,them for my ear tags,so i do like this belkon the best it is,the least expensive that apple sells, and it keeps the footprint fairly small, and it's the closest to your actual, keychain,if you were to attach both the tile does, take up still, more room than this belkin but then the,air tag does end up costing more, now as far as battery life they are very, similar, for a year whereas a samsung is actually, rated for 300 days or about 300 days,in order to swap the battery uh you, actually have to get a tool in here, which seems kind of scary like i'm gonna, break something, there you go all of them actually use,the same exact battery, and then on the tile you actually just, grip it and then pull, the section down and bam same ex
