now once you've made that size chart,just know that your garments,whether you're grading them making them,those,garments should be the same with your,size chart because the worst thing that,can happen is someone places an order,for something that you said should be a,particular size and they receive it and,it's too big or too small,what's up cadillas and welcome back to,the channel my name is priscilia i'm a,nigerian woman toy designer based in the,uk in this video i'm going to be talking,about all things about sizing different,types of sizing how to come up with your,own size chart and how many sizes you,should make if you are launching your,new collection i'm just going to be,answering some of your frequently asked,questions around the sizing of comments,now if you like to find out more about,this make sure to keep on watching give,this video a thumbs up if you enjoy it,and let's get into this a quick tea,break sounds a bit crooky,i hope you guys have your note pads on,your pen so you can take down points,that i cover in this video if you have,any other questions or any areas that i,failed to mention please leave a comment,down below so we just have a discussion,and inform each other okay now sizing is,something that designers creatives,people who make garments accessories,underwear lingerie it is a sort of,standard way of creating options for,people to buy into their brands now,there are different sizing options that,you guys would have heard about or you,would have worked with in the past or,currently exploring at the moment now,i'd like to categorize this into two i,just say there is alphabetical and there,is a numerical i made these up i don't,even know if this is really a thing but,let's just go with that for now now the,numerical i'll say is a lot more,accurate when you're making patterns,when you're grading patterns and when,you're creating these size options now,the numerical option is different in the,uk it's different in the us and it's,different in europe now in uk we have,your size 2 4,6 8 all the way to,2028 now how big or how small you go it,really depends on you and how much you,can afford to produce as a designer how,inclusive do you want to be,how,many sizes do you want to create and you,could also have the option of creating,those sizes and made to order when,people order from your brand or from,your business now in the us they still,have the you know the two the four the,six but i find that there is a size,difference between a uk eight,and a us-8,now the us code system starts from a,double zero whereas in the uk the small,size is usually a size four so a uk size,eight would end up being a u.s size four,so there is a two size difference,between the u.s clothing and uk clothing,where a us a size eight would be a uk,12. so just keep that in mind if you're,trying to convert sizing when shopping,or deciding on the sizing system you,want to use for your brand depending on,your location,now in the eu is slightly different so,they ha

Everyone.,Christian, here in the past, we mentioned size charts,and how important they are for your product page.,And this video, I'm going to show you how to add different size,charts depending on your product without any apps.,So let's get started,Now, a big portion of e-commerce returns happen when products,don't match their online descriptions, and size charts are essential.,Part of that, e-commerce customer experience.,So let me show you how to add them to your product page.,But before we do that, actually, I want to show you the final product,and how we're going to add size charts to this particular store right here.,Now, this free court not precaution,warning before this, I'm adding this to the Don thing.,So that's what we're going to be using for this example.,And as you can see here, this is a product page.,We're under one of our dummy stores should be boutique.,You have the product page in here.,And then we scroll down a little bit.,You'll see the site's size chart in a collapsible menu,when you click on it you'll see the image in there,showing you the actual dimensions of that particular garment.,Now, there are different ways on how to add a size chart,to your product page.,And the reason why I chose this one is because you're able,to showcase different size charts depending on the product.,And that's what we're looking for here.,So we don't have like six different size charts in here.,And I didn't want to have necessarily a link right where they have to click,and go somewhere else.,And I also didn't want to showcase this size start,inside of the product description because sometimes that product,aspiration description can be very, very lengthy.,And I didn't want to add to the length of the actual page.,So that's why we chose to do it this way.,Now, I do want to show you in this example, we're going to be going over,adding these two different sized charts.,I just kind of got these from Google.,But just an example.,Let's pretend like the one on the left is going to be four shirts,and the one on the right is going to be four dresses.,Now, before we go into Shopify, I just want to say,we have many of those.,My name is Christian Pinion,,one of the co-founders here at the branding,,or an eCommerce growth agency that specializes in helping clothing,stores grow and scale profitably online.,We dropped new videos every week, so make sure they hit that subscribe,button and Toronto applications so you don't miss out.,All right.,So for this example, we're actually going,to use a combination of different things.,We are going to use the new metal fields, and we're going to use pages,and we're going to use, again, like I said, the Dawn theme.,So first thing that we want to do here is go to settings,and then inside of,settings to scroll all the way down and you get a better field.,And what we're going to do,is we're going to add the meta field of size chart,definition,and this one, we're going to do this shirt size start.,So let's do it now.,Let's jus

How to measure a TV and what size TV is right for you

measuring a tv may seem pretty simple,but it can actually be,trickier than you think in this video,i'm going to show you how to accurately,measure a tv screen and give you a few,tips on,choosing the right size tv how far away,you should sit from the tv,and show you a couple other measurements,to be aware of especially if you're wall,mounting,hi i'm caleb denison and believe it or,not i hear stories all the time of folks,buying a tv only to find out it won't,fit where they want to put it so,then there's the whole hassle of,returning it and trying it again it can,be a pain i also get a lot of questions,about getting the right screen size in,general so we're going to talk about,that but before i get into it,i want to know what do you think is the,perfect screen size for you,leave me a comment about that and if you,like this video please click like so we,can share this helpful info with more,people,subscribe if you like what you see and,also i've got links to some products in,the description,to make setting up a tv a little easier,okay let's get to it,first the basics when you see screen,sizes listed on a tv's box or,online that measurement is from one,corner of the screen itself to the,opposing corner,and often you'll find it's actually just,shy of the claim size,for instance this 70 inch tv actually,comes in at just shy of 69 and a half,inches,i mentioned this because when it comes,to sizing up a tv to see if it will,fit on your media stand a cardenza in a,cabinet or on your wall,the screen size measurement doesn't do,anything for you,when sizing up a tv you want to look at,a few key measurements on most product,pages online,in the specs section manufacturers will,list the tv's height width and depth,both with and without,a tv's stand or legs take this tv for,example its depth is altered by,its feet in that they extend in front of,and behind the tv's cabinet in some,cases a tv's feet may actually increase,the width too this is important for,determining if the tv is going to fit in,the space you want to put it,it may be that you want that 70 inch,model but it just,won't fit so you'll need to step down to,the 65 inch model because keep in mind,even though you're only losing five,inches,diagonally in this case the entire size,of the tv scales down quite a bit,the other reason i suggest looking at,the full dimensions of a tv is that,bezel size varies and if you're already,tight on space you don't want to assume,that you can just squeeze that 65,65-inch model,in if it looks like you have just about,65 inches,some tvs have no bezels at all and some,add a few inches to the overall size of,the tv cabinet for wall mounting,well that's a whole different topic that,involves a lot of measuring which is why,we created a,separate video for that topic now the,other measurement to keep in mind is the,distance from which you'll sit from the,tv,this can have an impact on the size of,tv you'll want to get,generally speaking the further away you,will be from the tv th

- LG sponsored this video with their 86'' Nano90,,which is an 86 inch TV.,It's got NanoCell tech, which means it has nano particles,that absorb unwanted wavelengths for a wider color gamut,and bigger viewing angles.,And that kind of got us thinking.,Holy smokes, I mean, when you got a TV, this big,,are you gonna need like a dedicated theater room,just to have it fit in your field of view?,To find out we created this testing setup,and we're gonna subject all of the LMG staff,,well, not all of them, that's a lot of people now.,And we're gonna subject our staff,to this monstrosity of a TV and have them select,the distance at which they are most comfortable.,Then see how that compares to the prevailing wisdom,out there on the internet for just how far,you should be seated from your display.,(light beeps),(upbeat music),Nobody at LG or otherwise thinks that you should sit,three feet from a 86 inch TV.,So, why don't we back it off a little?,I didn't think about how much bigger this is,than my home TV.,So I've got a 77 inch at home,,which already is like ridiculously big, but this.,Something I think we're gonna run into,is that what you're used to is gonna make a big difference,to the comfort of your viewing experience.,If I was gaming, I might want to be a little bit closer,actually.,Right there.,That's as close as I think I could get for gaming.,From here just by flicking my eyes a little bit.,I can see the corners of the screen if I need to,,I don't actually have to move my head.,So this is, this is as close as I'd wanna get.,So how'd, I do then?,- Kinda depends who you ask.,So the way this is measured, isn't so much,about viewing distance, but about presence.,There's lots of different dimensions to presence.,Think about how immersive VR is.,- Right. - How much more immersive,a high refresh rate game is. - Or like audio,surround audio, sure. - Surround sounds.,- Okay. - So having your field of view,filled with the content is one element of presence.,- So where did I end up?,- You ended up actually at right on,one of the recommendations from S-M-P-T-E,or SMPTE, one of the institutions,that measures like color science and all this kind of stuff.,They recommend having your field of view,,30 degrees of it filled with the content.,And that was a distance of 11.7 feet.,You were right on that.,- Interesting. - Yeah, so THX,,obviously their whole thing is movies, movie enthusiasts,,then their ideal distance is 8.6 feet.,That corresponds to your field of view,,40 degrees of your field of view being filled.,They offer a range because they realize,that not everybody is gonna be in the same conditions,and people are different. - Yeah.,- So they say 40 degrees would be ideal,,but 36 degrees is also pretty goo.,And THX max acceptable distance,,which is 13 and a half feet, that's a 26 degree,field of view.,There's actually another line that we don't have,in the floor here and that's because our room is big enough.,And that corresponds to just 10 degrees,of your fie
