can you remember the days when email,marketing simply meant you sent the same,old regular email to everybody on your,list,well i'm sad to say that those days are,long gone and if the thought of dealing,with segmentation,groups conditional logic or workflows,brings you in hives,then this guide to setting up your first,workflow in metal light and linking that,through to your landing pages,is going to be the perfect medicine now,email lists are the,lifeblood of many businesses and getting,things set up right,can save you so much time today i'm here,to show you the right way to build your,first workflow,and start getting more success by,sending the right email to the right,person,at the right time are you ready to get,started cool let's just jump over now,and take a look at setting everything up,so for this we're going to need a couple,of things you're going to need obviously,a mailerlite account,we're going to be using the free account,in this and the free account gives you,up to,a thousand subscribers and up to 12 000,emails being sent out a month,so this should be perfectly fine for,anybody that's starting out building,their mailing list,secondly we also need to have a landing,page now for this example i'm going to,be using a brizzy cloud page,that's got a form inserted into it i'm,not going to show you how to use brizzy,cloud in this example,if you want to check that out take a,look at the first video i released where,i go through the whole process of,creating and building the landing page,what i will be showing you though is how,we can link up the form,to mailerlite in this example and then,we'll take a look at using mailerlite,for our mailing list and this is the,page we're going to use as,a sort of example of a landing page now,it isn't a landing page it's just a,template that i pulled in,but it gives us the opportunity to see,how we can link up,this contact form at the bottom with our,mailing list now obviously we don't want,all this information we simply want to,have something like,email address and the name of the person,so the first thing we're going to,probably want to do is,remove anything that's unwanted inside,you for the sake of keeping this,tutorial simple i've already,gone ahead and removed those extra,fields and all we end up with now is an,email field which you can see is just,set to field type email,and we've got a name field which is just,set to text,now if you're not used to working with,brizzy and you're coming from a platform,like elementor elementor pro,you're kind of going to see this is a,little different we don't select the,form to choose where we want to send,this and how we want to deal with,content,we choose the actual button to send the,form once we choose that we've got this,little sort of plug icon we're going to,click,on there and that says right what do you,want to do with this form now,so we're going to do is we've got email,apps or recaptcha,now email is going to do as this name,suggests it's going to send an em
