welcome to simple affiliate in this,video we're going to show you how to get,your affiliate program,up and running in just a few clicks,once you have the app installed we'll,take you through a simple setup guide,first thing you'll need to do is decide,whether you want to manually approve,each affiliate,or if you want them to be automatically,approved when they're registered,here you'll see that we've installed a,page called affiliate dashboard on your,store,next you'll decide the default group,settings,in simple affiliate affiliates are,managed in groups,and each group can have different,commission rates or minimum requirements,for referrals,finally you can decide whether you want,to use discount codes,to track referrals when this is enabled,each affiliate will receive their own,discount code that they can share,to earn commission,that completes the basic setup you're,now ready to run your affiliate program,the affiliate dashboard is a page on,your store you can always access it by,hitting the view page button in our app,here you can see that affiliates can,either log into an existing account,or register a new one,when the registration is complete the,affiliate will receive an activation,email,and once they've set their password,they'll be able to access the affiliate,dashboard,simple affiliate uses shopify customer,accounts,this means that your affiliates login,directly to your store,and on this dashboard your affiliates,will have access to all the tools they,need,to start earning money,creating links is easy and simple,affiliate,head over to the affiliate section,select the affiliate from the list and,scroll down,to the new link button here we'll create,a custom link,the default destination for links is,always the home page,and with custom links you can change,their appearance,this setting down here lets you decide,if this link should also apply the,discount code,when it's clicked,now let's see how this link works,visitors will receive a message that,they were referred and that a discount,code has been applied,and if we head over to checkout we'll,see that the discount code has indeed,been applied,back in the app you can see how many,sales have been generated by,each individual link belonging to this,affiliate,in simple affiliate you can also,manually assign orders to affiliates,head over to the referrals section and,hit the add referral button,here you can enter an order number and,the affiliate's email,let's pick an order from our list of,orders in shopify,copy the order number,paste it along with the affiliates email,we can now see that a referral has been,created and the commission for this,order has been assigned,to the affiliate,back in the orders list you can also see,that tags have been applied,to these orders paying affiliates at,this time is still a manual procedure,to pay an affiliate with an outstanding,balance,select one or more from the list and hit,the create,payment button then hit,pay this will create an unconfirmed,payment,in

hello this is vijay from vj design i'm taking  you through a quick video where i want to show  ,you affiliate links and how you can manage  affiliate links in your wordpress backend now  ,a quick search for affiliate affiliate links in  the wordpress.org plugin directory reveals a ton  ,of plugins but they are probably an overkill  in most cases and and they also contain ads  ,and things like that so just be aware  of all these issues which brought me to  ,come up with a simple very very simple very very  lightweight affiliate link uh plugin it's called  ,again you can call it as referral links or  affiliate links so it's a way to manage your  ,affiliate links and then present them in your  posts when you need to add them as links right  ,so here you'll be having a look at my website  where i have a few affiliate links particularly  ,generatepress is one of the best themes out there  and as usual i have an affiliate link and it's  ,this one this link is difficult for me to remember  therefore it's easier to have it in the back end  ,and be able to use it when i need to so the way  i do this and handle this is by using a second  ,plugin so i've just developed my own plugin as  well as we'll be using a plugin from mark jack  ,with so let me just demonstrate so we go to i  have a demo site here with just my two favorite  ,uh plugins the generatepress premium theme and  the generate blocks i'm going to add a a new  ,plugin and the one we are looking for is called  page links ii is a very lightweight plugin by  ,mark jack with so we're going to go install that  first now this doesn't work without this plugin so,so page links to plugin has been activated what it  allows us to do is go to pages and add a page link  ,but then this is going to then get start getting  polluted with your other pages and i really don't  ,want to put my page links inside in this section  so what i want to do is go again and add new and  ,this time i'm just going to quickly uploaded  a upload a a plug-in that i've downloaded  ,so you'll be able to do the same just called  it simple affiliates so we're going to use  ,marg jack with plugin and convert it slightly so  that it starts working as referral links so now  ,with both page links to and my  simple affiliate links plugin active  ,you'll see a new menu item referral  links so all you need to now do  ,is go here and add a referral item so i've added  one but adding one is as easy as just going add  ,new referral link let's add a new referral  link i'm going to add one for generate blocks,generate blocks so all you need to  do is just go custom url put that url  ,the referral link and just say yeah open  this link in the new tab if you want to  ,and just hit publish so let's add our referral  link so i've come here and i'm just going to go,say bye generate blocks so we could  go and link that so i i can just click  ,and like how you search for a page or a post  link all you need to do is start typing and  ,you'll start seeing
