Shopify: Import product data using 'Excel Like Product Bulk Edit' App

hi my name is mikhail kraft,today i'm gonna show you how you can,import product data on shopify store,using the application called excel like,product,bulk edit in this session i can show you,only a few common scenarios,since this powerful import tool allows,you to import various data of different,formats and even do tricks with it,with this app you can import files,containing only a part,of your catalog it is not required that,you,import a full catalog it is also,possible to remove items using import,you can flag items for removal you can,flag particular variants or whole,products,any column that exists in the app main,grid is importable,of course if the field is not read only,or,exportable so if you for example add a,meta field column,it becomes possible to import its value,from the import file,same as you can import rows containing,data you want to change,the same stands for columns you can,import only columns for fields you wish,to update,it is just required that you have some,item,identification therefore you must,include some field,for example like the sku to identify,products variants and fields you want to,update,id is the ultimate identificator,and the most preferred way to identify a,particular product or variant,unfortunately id is a bit confusing to,people without some i.t background,also a particular id is valid for one,particular site where it was generated,on other sites same products will have,different ids,and you cannot take control over that,since id is generated by the system,at the moment of item creation,this app uses a parent field which is a,variant referrer for its,product and it is actually the id of the,product,besides id and parent fields for product,identification,you can use title or handle,handle is textual secondary,identification of product,and it is also part of url,the sku of one of the product variants,can also identify a product,variant identification can be the sku,options combination or its barcode,when matching variants app will also,respect,product fields like handles to narrow,down the list of possible candidates,for example the variant options can be,the same for two or more products,in that case the app will first narrow,choices to products that match other,provided data,and then look for the right variant,inside of them,if the app still finds multiple choices,it will ask the user to specify what,goes where,before i run export i will define one,new meta field,so i could later use import to fill its,values,ok column for our new meta field has,appeared,we see that it is empty for all products,and variants,and we will fill it up using our import,okay now i'm gonna export all the data,i will then make a few changes and also,define data for two new products i would,like to add,and then import files prepared like that,here is our file i'm gonna change some,data in this exported file now,first i will change some variant prices,now,i will now change some inventory levels,i will also now update the description,us

it's time for tech tips with sarah,hi everyone thank you for joining us for,sarah's tech,tips i love how i can update data,quickly and excel,is there a way to easily mass update,this data in microsoft crm,that's a great question brooke when we,are working within,dynamics 365 sales or customer service,or field service or we're working within,our model app and our power platform or,power app,there's a need to sometimes do a bulk,update of data,there are quite a few options that are,available one being that you can export,your information to excel,update that there and bring it right,back into the system,the other option is you can select,multiple records,and then do a bulk edit as well if that,option is available to you,but sometimes you just want to be able,to have that same functionality that you,have in excel to just maybe update one,column,well in my example here i've got my,reward tier,and i want to start associating people,with the reward tier that they belong,with,so i can actually go to a record and,open that up,and select the appropriate reward tier,for that person,hit save and close and go to the next,tracker well that's pretty tedious,well one of the great features of,working with the power platform,or microsoft dynamics products is the,integration with,office products like excel so i want to,take this list and i want to make sure i,update,all these other reward tiers if your,administrator is giving you,this permission you'll see the option,when you're looking at your list,to click export to excel and if you,expand export to excel you'll see an,option,to open this in excel online now when,you do this,it's going to open up your list of,records that you have here,in excel online and you'll notice that,it's got my reward tier of silver that i,selected for aaron,now the great thing about this is that,reward tier,is a choice or we previously called it,an option set,i can actually click on the drop down,here in excel and see valid options to,choose from,so maybe for my next group of people i,want to,give them the gold reward tier now the,feature that we all love,in excel and we use quite a bit is that,fill series,i can go to the lower right corner of,this cell and i can just fill in the,rest of these,with that tier and i can go down and i,can maybe select a different one,platinum and maybe i'll do that for the,next few records,and maybe the rest of the people will,choose,diamond and you can use the same,functionality just like you would in,excel,i love this i can left double click and,it just fills it down for the rest of,everybody so everyone's getting diamond,today except for my first few people,here,but once i set that option you'll notice,that i have the capability to return,but more importantly i can actually save,so when i hit,save this is going to update my data in,excel,now it's not just going to update it but,it's doing what we call an,upsert so it's going to take this data,and submit it for import so it's,basically taken out a lot of

How To Bulk/Mass Edit WooCommerce Products In Excel or Numbers

hi this is Joe with sofly and in this,video we're gonna show you how to export,your data with wpl export edited in bulk,and then re-import it with wpl import so,for this example we'll be using,WooCommerce products and I already have,a site set up here with some products in,it I want to change a couple of things,so I'll export the product title the,regular price the sale price and the,categories and we'll run the export now,let's download the CSV and we'll open it,up in whatever program I feel like using,today that's numbers for OS 10 but it,doesn't really matter how you've ended,it obviously you can do w-want so I want,to add on sale to the title so I'll just,write a little formula and here in this,new column I just added the formula is,going to add the words on sale to the,beginning of the title now we'll save,the formula and copy/paste it all the,way down then we just need to copy and,paste everything over to our title,column now I want to put everything,actually on sale price-wise so I'll,write a formula here to make the sale,price equal to 75% of the regular price,and then we just need to copy and paste,the formula all the way down the sale,price column and that's gonna make our,sale price equal to 75% of the regular,price so the last thing I need to do is,add a category to all of these products,called on sale and you can see that wpl,export is exported all of our existing,categories and they're separated by a,pipe that vertical line in between each,of the categories so to add a new,category I'm gonna write a formula that,takes the existing product categories,column and then adds a pipe followed by,on sale so when we import this with wpl,import we'll get our new category in,there,and that's all I need to do so I'll save,this CSV and we'll go back to our site,now wpl important WP l export work,really well together so we just need to,go in here to manage exports and then,click import with WP l import and all we,need to do is add in our new file with,the change data and WP l input would do,the rest it'll handle all of these,settings and everything and let's go,ahead and confirm and run the import and,this is going to take just a little bit,so we'll come back when it's done and,it's done so let's check out our,products and look at that and everything,is on sale we just went through and,edited all of our WooCommerce products,in bulk but this same process work for,any data you want export it with a WP l,export and it in however you want to and,then import it with WP L import

hi everyone my name is elisa from profit,cyclops training department and i'm here,today to show you how you can update,your cost by using our bulk upload tool,and profit cyclops it's really easy,especially comparing to adding it one by,one and i'll save you a lot of time as a,lot of our sellers on our program have,hundreds of thousands of products it'll,be hard to update that one by one so by,using our bulk upload tool it's really,going to save you time as well as it's,going to give you more meaningful,results on our program,it will,change your dashboard your profit and,loss and inventory,and insights tools to be a lot more,meaningful and it'll help you answer the,most important question for your,business is my business profitable and,if so how profitable is it,so i will show you today how you can,update your cost by using our bulk,upload tool,so first on the left hand side,you will see the inventory tab you will,click on that,and it's going to bring you to this page,on the upper right hand side you will,see a green button labeled bulk upload,cost you will select that,and then you will click on download,inventory list with actual costs,and that is going to,automatically download your inventory,list in excel and you will open that up,so once that excel has fully downloaded,you can open it up and it will bring you,to this page and it will look something,similar to it i will just expand these,columns so we can see here,um so as you can see you're going to,have your entire inventory list here in,the excel including your sku your asin,your product name and active cost,i do want to note that in this column if,you see all zeros it's perfectly normal,it's because you haven't updated,your cost on profit cyclops before,but that's okay you can do all of them,at one time for all your skus,um with our bulk upload tool so i'll,show you how to do that just in a little,bit,i do want to mention something important,for the,columns besides the active costs so the,sku,the asin and the product name you do not,want to change these columns you only,want to change the cost column um so be,sure not this is not your time to edit,any names any uh skus any asin don't,edit it in the bulk upload,tool um,you can just,upload your active cost,also if you have been using,other programs in the past to keep track,of your active costs,you can easily,copy and paste for example from,spreadsheets quickbooks xero or similar,tool that kept your costs in you can,copy and paste it from your old programs,into this program,easily,so here i will show you just how easy,the process is so i will take for,example,the peekaboo box pick,um right now the cost is 388,and say that packaging costs got a,little bit more expensive this month so,you want to up it one dollar to 4.88,i'll just enter that into the active,cost and then,exit out of that cell and there,we have,the new cost for the peekaboo box pick,um again you can upload,update any costs how many costs you want,you can update,for how many skus

hello everyone reza here in today's,video i will show you how to perform,bulk operations in powerapps against a,sharepoint list,we will leverage an editable grid,wherein we will add the following bulk,features bulk creation updation deletion,bulk copying data as well as bulk,importing data from a csv file so let's,check it out in action,to begin with bulk updating data in,powerapps,i have a gallery that is in the form of,an editable grid experience,we can update data in the grid,we can create new records on the fly,there are validations we can exit the,grid view to save the changes or we can,undo the changes,we also have refiners to refine the data,in the grid,now all of this was demonstrated step by,step in my first video the link to which,is in the description for this video so,do check that out,for bulk operations,in powerapps we need to provide the,users with an option to select multiple,items,and to do that we will add check boxes,for my gallery control in the template,item,we will go ahead and insert,a checkbox control,i will place it on the left hand side,remove the text associated with the,checkbox,and reduce its width,we will give this checkbox,a background color,and since this control is sitting over,the first control,which is work item,the x property of this control would be,the existing x property plus,the name of the checkbox control dot,width,and the width,would be the existing width,minus the check box control dot width,so when the user checks the checkbox we,would like to store that information in,a collection,we will use the collect function we'll,give our collection a name called,selected,we will store,this item which is the context of the,current item inside that collection,on uncheck,we will use the remove function,to remove this item from that same,collection which is,call selected,and the checkbox control has a property,called default,this item,in,call selected,that means if this collection already,has the context of this item so show it,as checked,so if i was to preview my app and let's,say i make a couple of selections here,if we go to view collections,call selected has two records and that's,those selected items,now we also want to give,the ability to the user to check or,uncheck all the items on the grid in one,go,in my header container i will go ahead,and insert,a checkbox,once again position it on the left,remove the text,reduce its width,i have renamed this to check box all,when this is checked i would like to,load all the data in this grid into my,collection which is called selected,so i'll use the function clear collect,call selected,this would be,my grid collection which is called,grid data,and when this is unchecked i would like,to clear the entire selection so we can,simply use clear,call selected,let's test it out,if i select this,all the items are selected of course i,can uncheck specific ones if i uncheck,all of them would be unchecked,now these check boxes should only be,visible when the grid is in the edit,e

How to Build Search Box in Excel

Today I want to show you how you can add a search box to your Excel spreadsheet.,Imagine you have customer information in Excel, you can use a search box to look for ,exact matches, but you can also use it for more advanced scenarios. You can look for partial ,matches. You can even search across multiple columns, and we can even highlight the results. ,This is a fully fledged search box. If you want to follow along today, ,I've included a sample spreadsheet right up above and down below in the description.,This is the perfect thing to add to an Excel dashboard, and if you want to create an Excel ,dashboard, I have a video right up there that'll show you step-by-step how to do it.,All right, let's check this out. Here I am in Excel, ,and we're going to start with just the basic search box first.,We're going to do an exact match.,Down below I have a data set with customers and their favorite cookies.,I know, how can you possibly choose just one favorite cookie, but hey, we had to do it. ,Over on the right-hand side, I want to add a search box so when you search for a ,customer's first name, the table down below will show all of the matching customers.,To insert a search box, first off, we need to add the developer tab and if you don't yet have this, ,you can simply right click on the ribbon and then click on customize.,Within customize over on the right-hand side you should see an option for developer.,Make sure that this box is checked and then click on OK.,Now that we have the developer tab, let's click on it and ,right in the center there is the option to insert.,Click on this and under the ActiveX controls category, here you'll see a text box. We're ,going to use this as our search box. Click on this and then draw a search box over cell G2.,We now have a search box on the sheet, but it doesn't actually do anything yet. While in design ,mode, let's right click on the search box and then go down to the option that says properties.,This opens up properties and within this list you'll see an option for linked cell.,We want to link our search box to a cell within our worksheet ,and I'm going to link it to the cell that's directly behind the search box or cell G2.,So right here I'll type in G2 and then I can close ,out properties.
