Push Notifications for Dynamics 365

hi everyone this is just a quick video,to go over the thing I posted in my blog,last night around how we enable how we,can enable push notifications in,Dynamics 365 and how this kind of,differs from as I've been thinking a bit,there's been a thing can I go around,Twitter today that there is actually an,existing solution to this court d-36,might notify but I was want to go over,how this is different and how although I,didn't know about this right now if I,want to start at this how what I'm,trying to do is kind of a little bit,different and trying to solve some the,problems I think to know that kinda,leads with but there's both great,solutions to a similar problem is just,I've kind of looked at it a different,way mostly through ignorance but also,through just trying to do a different,angle so the blog post kind of from last,night goes over ok how it works how it,uses a service worker in the background,and kind of a high level what the UX,kind of looks like but while just show,now is there kind of a demo it working,let me just clear up my notification,center as of course I pre-recorded this,and realize it's a big error in it,somewhere we do again so if I to go to a,trial instance they've got configured,so this should work in any kind of in,theory anything you can a better web,results insert should work anything,anything with the unified interface,should work relatively well so if I go,into a custom app that I've built for,pushing the vacations and what you see,is that land me on this page by default,what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna disable,the current consent I know she remove,the page so this is what this is the,page you'll get by default if you've,never enable notifications before and,you see it'll default so it kind of,disabled for everything it's just a way,because it's just about web resource,that's embedded within within your,application in theory this eventually,will hopefully come with a kind of the,way you can configure it because it uses,firebase Cloud messaging to do the push,notifications but going forward I'll try,and check the moment kinda hard-coded,but I'll change it so that we can have,like a JSON file that would control your,application keys so they we could ship,this in the managed solution and then,make the JSON file editable and just go,in and just change the values and then,it should kind of work but that's all,kind of high level you know in the,future so what went work is so you're,going to go to this area of the site map,you get prompted with this kind of,enable disable so the whole,notifications piece and this is what,gathers the consent for Dynamics to go,to send out notifications to you if you,have been enabled it'll prompt to you in,the same way that kind of a get any,regular kind of browser will prompt you,to enable notifications you click allow,and what that will do is that will,generate a consent token and store it as,a against the record is in dynamic so,dynamics is the only thing that holds,kind of your consent and luc
