hey scott austin here from jade puma in,this video i'm going to show you a,liquid only solution,for free gift with purchase,um instead of using an app and a lot of,javascript uh this is using liquid only,and it's not perfect a solution it'll,work for you know most stores in most,scenarios but it is not foolproof and,i'll highlight that for you but using,liquid only this is a way to do free,gift with purchase,um pretty simply actually so in this,store here uh bixby chocolate this is,why i built this this is the client i,built this solution for the first time,uh what we have is a 75 threshold for,the free gift would purchase so right,now you see my card is at 72.50,and if i add another product to the cart,and remember i said this is liquid not,javascript so i just added another,product to the cart,inside of the cart,and it updated the price automatically,because there's javascript going on with,ajax but the liquid that only happens at,render time on the server so i have to,refresh the page and most customers,aren't going to have this problem right,they're going to get to the cart with 75,dollars already in it,but like i said i wanted to highlight,the pros and cons of the solution so,when you add 75 to the cart this,promotion shows up up here,um and it says hey get a free gift with,purchase,um,and we're over the 100,threshold,so,let's just actually get rid of this,product here and bring it under the,hundred dollars but over the 75 dollars,and you'll see we have tiers here so now,we get the 75,thing which is three bags of fall treats,and then the,photo is specific to that thing if they,hit add free gift,the promotion goes away and the free,gift gets added and here we say hey get,the black friday gift set for free and,the prices change now the way we're,doing this is with an automatic discount,so if we look at our automatic discounts,remember you can only have one automatic,discount in your store at a time which,is you know a limitation also,what we had to do is we had to say,anybody who's got more than 75 in their,cart,can get a specific product for free but,we had to add all four of our products,because we have four price tiers here so,it is possible to grief the system,someone could buy 75 worth of product,and add this product manually to this to,the thing to the cart and get it for,free so it's another you know,imperfection of this solution but the,way it works in the front end customers,aren't going to know that right and what,we're doing through liquid we're,promoting the right product at the right,price tier now let's say that they,actually go over that 100 threshold i,mentioned before,refresh the page and now they see a,different product shown here and they,can add that free gift,and it shows as free also with the,automatic discounts,now this this product we're actually out,of quantity so let's just open up,another product and add it to the cart,and now what i want to do is get,ourselves over that 200 threshold,refresh the page,and now there's

you create a new deal you will select,either the whole order or specific items,and you will for example put 10 off,a collection so let's say,i want to select this collection,then you will click on stack another,deal,and you will make let's say 20,of another collection,15 so then you could have 10 15 on,on different collections and you can,also,make a cart requirement here or inside,the rule later,uh but you know you might skip it or you,might use it here,and then you click on give a product so,suggest a product,this comfortable free before checkout,so i will search for some product in my,case it's gift card,and i will make it a hundred percent off,so this you can also have a little title,um and select either,you display it in a slider layout or a,list layout but i'll keep it as this,and then there are other other settings,including the free shipping,um here so once your deal is created,um you go to promotion automatic,and you click on creating a new,promotion and then you select the smart,deal here,because this is what i just created and,well you should probably remember what,is the name before going there,which i didn't do so kb1,which is not active meaning that there,is no yet,uh a rule attached to it so i will go to,new promotion,click smart deal and it's kb1,something like that here,uh you can show a little batch icon if,the,deal is dismissed or you can hide it,so you can see that there's one gif,included with the deal,and then you can create the rule the,triggering condition so,this is what will trigger the,application of the smart deal,including uh the gift uh which will be,uh you know suggested to user because,they might not want it uh especially if,it,impacts the shipping cost some people,will,would like to refuse or deny that the,gift before going to checkout,so let's say you want to give this if,the total card amount is a hundred,percent a hundred dollar,and let's add another condition if uh,there's at least uh one product from the,specific collection that i've selected,so then you can name this promotion or,and you can add it to a new group the,group,allows you to simply organize them into,different group of promotion you can go,to test mode or active,promotion you click save,and then you will if it's in test mode,you click this little,preview icon and you'll be able to test,it live how,it behaves and you will be able to see,uh the actual uh deal modal window or,pop-up and you will,be go inside the settings and you could,also change the colors inside simple,notification and advanced notifications,so this basically covers uh the use case,of having multiple,different discounts on different,collections and a free gift,on top of it

hey guys Audrey from bold here today I'm,going to show you how to create a free,shipping rate for your customers on,Shopify and then promote that offer to,customers using bulbs sales motivator,app free shipping offers are one of the,easiest marketing tools for an online,store to set up and you can do it in,just a few minutes on a Shopify store,so to start,we'll head to the settings screen in,Shopify and then choose shipping I'm,going to set up this free shipping rate,only for Canada but you can do it for as,many shipping zones or countries as,makes sense for your business so if I,choose edit here under shipping zones,and look at price based rates you can,see that I have one standard shipping,rate set up between zero and $74.99 so,what that means is that the customers,cart,is between those dollar ranges that are,going to be charged eight dollars for,shipping so I'm going to add a second,rate here called standard shipping free,over $75 they'll see this a checkout and,then I'm going to set the minimum order,price to whatever my threshold is in,this case it's $75,I'll leave the maximum order price blank,and that means that anything over $75 is,going to get this rate check off the,free shipping rate option and save the,rate so if we save this and go back to,the shipping rate screen you can see,that now we have the second shipping,rate here any customers that have a cart,value of over $75 are going to have,their order ship for free,okay so now that our free shipping rate,is actually set up in Shopify we're,going to create a goal in the sales,motivator app to help promote that offer,to customers so from the home screen,here I'll hit create new goal and fill,in the information so step one is the,goal amount this is the dollar value,that we're actually trying to get,customers to reach so in this case it's,$75 step two is to make the pitch so,when the customer Lam's on your store,for the first time whether that's on a,product page through a direct link or,maybe just on the home page from a,google search they're going to see a,banner at the top of the screen that's,going to tell them about the offer that,they can qualify for so in this case I'm,going to set it to something exciting,good news free standard shipping on all,orders over $75 so that lets the,customers know right off the bat that,they can get free shipping on their,order step 3 is the follow up so when a,customer adds a product to their cart,sales motivator will show a banner at,the top of the screen that shows how far,away they are from getting the reward so,in this case we show an example here,you're only 39.99 away from receiving,free shipping here we're just,configuring what that text is actually,going to say so I'm pretty much going to,match that so way to go,you're only whatever the balance is,and there we go step four is the,congratulations message so this is what,it sounds like when the order actually,reaches the car the goal that we've set,will give them a banner that tells them,great jo

hey guys I'm really excited to show you,the new feature called automatic gift,that allows you to give free products in,the cart just before checkout to boost,yourselves and to increase your,conversion rates so you need to first go,to advanced discount rules because this,feature is part of the advanced,accounting rules and not the basic rules,and you can check the tutorial but you,can also click on new rule and start to,create the free gift so you click on the,radio button right there give a product,free or discounted and then you of,course search for a product inside your,store let's say I want to give this,product for free I could also give it,half price or a custom amount but I mean,for the purpose of this demo I'll give,it for free this is the title that will,be displayed inside a modal window,a pop-up for your customers so we have a,gift for you or you you know you can,edit it and you can also add a subtitle,or for example you could say that the,customer will save a value of 30 bucks I,don't know how much is this product but,you can write something here and then,you can actually you have to set a rule,or multiple rules that will trigger or,fire this free gift pop-up so I'm gonna,make a simple rule but you know as you,can see here you can make pretty complex,stuff but I'm gonna make a simple rule,that if the amount inside the cart is,over $100 then I'm gonna apply I'm gonna,give a product for free I could also,restrict it for specific products so for,example I could say if we have at least,$100 worth of this product or if this,product is in the cart at least then,show,the free gift pop-up but I'll keep it,simple for the matter of the demo then,here I'll name it free gift over $100,I'll create a new group groups are they,they are useful too for example if you,would add multiple tier of three free,gift for example Product X is given for,free if the card is over $100 and,product Y is given for free if the card,is over $500 then you could group them,inside one single group and you could,have tiers of free gift and I will,publish it the reason why the statute is,draft by default is well because we,don't want you to give products for free,as you edit the rule and as you create,your free gift discount so I'm gonna,save it here I can see it's published I,couldn't publish it and I could publish,it then I'll wait 5 10 15 minutes maybe,depending on cash and you know server,stuff and it will propagate in your,store as long as I have a product over,$100 in the cart I will see a pop-up,like this and what is pretty cool is,that I could choose the size so 10 year,12 years no stuff like that I'm not even,sure it's years but this is just a demo,and as you can see well this is a free,product the 3/4 sleeve kimono dress I,have my product that was in the cart,which is 348 and the cart total is 348 I,could continue shopping this will close,the pop-up and this pop-up will be,displayed only once per session per user,and order not to be intrusive and,annoying but if t
