Magento 2 Request for Quote / Hide Price with Rental Hire Extension Integration

all right, welcome to today's screencast we're,going to be looking at,the request for quote module for sales, igniter, where we integrate amnesty request for, quote, and hide price module with our module we,do sell this as an,add-on the integration so we're going to,start off by looking at the settings, and the settings will appear under, amnesty, and then you click on either the hide, price,or request for quote so those modules, are bundled together, you can decide if you want to hide the, price for your product or not,and of course if you want to add the, request for quote button those can be,configured in different ways,we'll just briefly look at the hide, price part you just want to make sure,it's enabled, you can decide if you want to hide it,for only certain customer groups, and you can decide if you want to hide, the price for certain product categories,so it's a fairly quick and easy setup, and the request for quote that's similar,as well, you'll have the same type of settings, you want to make sure it's enabled, you can decide if you want to show the,add to quote button on the product page, category page and what categories it's,enabled for,so let's look at this from the customer, side, and i'll go ahead and go to one of the, products where we have hide price, enabled as well as request for quote so,i have,i'll just select some rental dates, notice there's no price showing though, usually there would be,and then i'll add it to my quote, and then i'll go and look at my quote, card, all right we'll go ahead and submit the, quote, okay so the quote request is received, now we'll go to the back end, this appears under sales quotes,i'll look at what we can do there okay,so we have this new quote that came in i,just submitted, and we'll go ahead and view it,and by default the price for that rental, period will show here, that can be edited so we'll edit the, quote,so then if i wanted to change the rental, dates i could do so,if i wanted to override the default auto, calculated price i could set that here,we could also do an overall quote, discount which will show the customer,in some industries that's common to do,that and so let's go ahead and update it,okay and we'll submit it or save it,okay so that's saved then we can approve,it,all right so now the customer if they, wanted to,could they would get the email they, could log into their account, and place order for that quote that they, sent in,we want to show a couple things that we,did add to the extension and that's,where you can reserve, inventory for a quote you might want to,reserve your rental inventory for that, quote, and you can also skip rental stock, checks,on the customer side so the customer, could rent it even if there wasn't,inventory for it,so after that what you could do if your, customer didn't place the order but you, wanted to place it for them, you can convert it to an order so that's,going to open up the usual, create order page and then you can save,it as an order,so that way if you haven't already the, stock will be reserv

WooCommerce Request a Quote & Negotiate Price

WooCommerce Request a Quote & Negotiate Price

hi there this is daniel from relaunch, and i want to show you our new plugin, the woocommerce quote request and, negotiation plugin,so,our plugin is basically something you, might know from other stores it can, request quote and also do a price, negotiation, what makes our plugin a bit different is,that our plugin is very, much integrated into the woocommerce, system itself so each negotiation, request and also the price negotiation,is directly managed inside the, woocommerce order, that means the customer can not only, create quote requests directly from your, shop system he can also see all managed, quote requests he has sent before, negotiate directly on your shop system, and directly pay when you say you have, approved a quote, this is very unique many other plugins, you might know only give you the, possibility to send an email and then, you have to take care about that email, conversation that goes forth and back, but our plugin as i said is tied very, much into the woocommerce chrome system, itself,so enough talking let me show you how it,works so basically i'm currently locked,in as a customer, and i want to buy some t-shirts,so we can click this button add to quote, card, that can be changed and you would see,the product has been added to your, account,so as a customer i can view the card and,i will see it costs 18,and maybe i want to buy some more let me,buy five, then you would see a subtotal of 19 is,displayed, now i can proceed to the checkout, and of course on the left here you have, all the billing details so your private, stuff that you might know from the, normal woocommerce checkout but on the, right you will see a new payment method,so first we have a direct bank transfer, that means customers can still buy the, product but on the second one you can,see a quote request and this is our, plugin,so the quote request you can change of,course all texts here will give you a,hint what has to be dropped and you can,see it in message field,it says looking for a custom quote, please drop us a note about your, favorite prize and we will contact you,as soon as possible i as a customer now,do not want to buy ninety dollars i want,to buy it for 18 maybe so i write,i would like,to have this for a total of,eighty dollars, and then the customer can send a quote, request so i'll click on request quote, after that has been done it's the, regular checkout process, you will see that i as an admin will get,or the shop owner will get an email, notification, but you will also see that the customer, gets this thanks for your quote request,we will check it as soon as possible and, come back to you, what i do now i log into a shop manager,in tower system, and i can go into the order section,so in the order section of woocommerce, you will see here now a new quote,as i said you will also get an email of,this, the status of this quote request is on,hold,so it is not approved and also not, declined, when you open that order quote, you will see all the details just like a,regular order you would see what he,wanted

WooCommerce Request for Quote Button and Call for Price Button on the Product Page

WooCommerce Request for Quote Button and Call for Price Button on the Product Page

good morning i hope you're well i've got, two, cool things to show you today that you,can do to your uh woocommerce product, page the first one's this this is how to,add a request for quote, functionality onto the single product, page so i built this nice looking, simple and elegant product page which,i'll show you how i did it,and your customers then come to this, request a quote form, and rather than you know them being able,to buy it directly through your site, they they have to request a quote from, you so this is great when you've got, products that, you can't price up and you have to have,a dialogue there might be some, customization with them or,you know lots of different scenarios why,you might want a request for quote form, what's really cool about this though is,that this form will dynamically, pick up the product name for your, products and send that information to,you,so you don't have to create a form for, every single product unless you have, lots of products, you create one form and it'll,dynamically take the product name, and email that information to you so you, know when you get that form what the, products related to,that's the first thing i'm going to show, you how to do the second one is this, which is a call for price button so,again rather than having uh,the add to cart button on the product, page you have this call for price button, and when your customer clicks on that, then now i'm on my,mac so it's asking me to make a call via, skype but if you were on your phone, then it would automatically make a phone, call from your phone and they could, directly call you,so again there's two cool things you can,do with your product pages,it won't take long hope you enjoy it and, find it useful and, here we go right i'm actually going to,start with the call for price button, because it's,so simple and i'm going to show you how,and kind of reverse engineer and show, you how i built this particular page,so i'm just going to click on edit, product at the top here now these, these examples have been built using our,woo builder blocks plugin, which lets you uh basically design the, layout of your product pages, using the gutenberg block editor so this,is basically just a page a product that,we've created using, gutenberg the block editor now if you, want more um tutorials around how to do,this,i've got different i've got much longer, tutorials just on,how to use woo builder blocks and i'll,put links to those in the descriptions, below but basically here we go this is,the product page, and you'll see here we've got our, woocommerce information down here but,we're using,we're using gutenberg the block editor,to layout this page and all i've done, just so you can see it i've added a,background image here, which is this chap with the vr set on,and then i've just added some blocks in,here,um now i've added a heading block and, this is another heading block and then, this down here,is the um basically it's just the, gutenberg, buttons block so even though with woo, builder blocks, which is the pl

Salesforce CPQ Quote Template - Conditional Pricing Columns

Salesforce CPQ Quote Template - Conditional Pricing Columns

hi everyone,i am christina blasine i'm a salesforce, consultant with myelomycimo we're a,salesforce cpq partner,in the previous video we discussed about, how to make a line column appear, conditionally that was the discount, column, and we made it appear on the quotes only,if there are values you need,in order not to make your customers, wonder why they are not getting a,discount, now let's take it further and see what, other functionalities we can use, related to conditional print fields, the discount column visibility was, driven from a formula field, however it's possible to control the, visibility of a line column manually, from a checkbox that can be used as a,toggle switch, whenever needed sometimes we want to,send a quote without the pricing fields, here,so you know that each quote line has, pricing columns that are shown by,default, the unit price and the extended columns, what we're going to do is try to leave, them off,of the output document so last time we,use the formula field, this time we're going to be driving it,from a custom checkbox on the quote, because remember all the conditional, print fields are coming from the quote,so the very first step is to create the, checkbox, say show pricing columns, this may be something that is going to,be set up by process so it,can be manually set up by the,end user so in order to achieve this uh,we'll need to add the show pricing, columns api name to our pricing columns, and, both the net unit price and the, extended one so let's take it step by,step, and go to quote object in setup, okay now let's go to fields and, relationships, click new, okay select, the checkbox radio button, click next okay,so uh let's enter a field label, show pricing columns and um,let's set the default value as,checked and click next, and again next, and save, now let's copy the,api name of this field because we are, going to use it,in the next step now while still in,setup,in object manager now let's go to,another object now, that is the line column, again to fields and relationships, let's find the conditional print field, and update its values, paste the api name and, save, now let's go and update the unit price, and extended line columns to only be,visible when the show, pricing fields checkbox is set,as two, here they are unit price let's click, edit, find the conditional print field, show pricing columns save, and let's repeat the action for the, extended column, okay, like this, okay now you should be able to toggle, the pricing fields on,and off with just the help of a custom, checkbox,so first let's go and take a look at,this, check box on the quote record, okay cancel, refresh the page, okay here it is note, that it is unchecked remember that the, default value,of uh this checkbox would be executed, once during,a record creation that's why on existing, quote records,we will have to manually update the, checkbox,so let me check it first, and uh make sure that the pricing, columns are there, and leave your document, okay so the pricing columns are here,by the way um notice how well,o

Purchase Basics and Your First Request for Quotation | Odoo Purchase

Purchase Basics and Your First Request for Quotation | Odoo Purchase

Hi everyone and welcome to a brand new lesson.,As the owner of my company Stealthy Wood,,I juggle many responsibilities and improving purchases is one of them.,As Stealthy Wood grows, manual processes like recording everything on paper or an Excel are too slow.,They reduce our ability to work efficiently.,So automating tasks with the purchase app will help us greatly as everything is done in just a few clicks.,The implementation of a purchasing policy will also help us create budgets and keep an eye on our cash flow.,And as we will keep track of everything, we'll be able to do our reports on time and with accuracy.,Great, isn't it?,But we won't be the only ones to benefit from this.,Our suppliers will also see the advantage.,Giving them the possibility to deliver and track products easily.,Doing so, they will verify our orders and assemble our goods quickly,,making us save time and keep operations running efficiently.,So let's see how we can make this happen in our Stealthy Wood database.,All right, here I am on my database.,So let's go ahead and see how we can create a purchase order from the purchase app.,So we're going to go straight to purchase.,And here we're going to see right away all of our requests for quotations, also known as RFQs and purchase orders, also known as POs.,So let's create a new one simply by clicking on the create button right here.,So when we create a new request for quotation, the first thing we're going to want to do is add our vendor.,We need to decide who we want to purchase some products from.,So I'm going to choose my vendor Azure Interior.,And then after we've added the Vendor, we also need to decide what products we want to buy from them.,And I'm going to specify those right down below under the products section.,So let's go ahead and add a product.,In this case I'm going to choose my pedal bin.,Now by default the quantity that we purchase will be one and we're going to modify this.,I'm going to say 20 and we do want to purchase more than just one of this item.,And I'm also going to change the unit price as well.,So maybe I've seen their catalog.,I know how much this item costs, so I'm going to put 15.,So this looks good so far.,Of course we can modify the other things in this line as well, such as the taxes, but I'm not going to do that.,So once we have created our basic request for quotation we will save it,,and then we can either print it or we can send it by email to the vendor, which is what I'm going to do, so I'm going to click on send by email.,I will have my email template pop-up, which I can modify right away, or I can just go ahead and send it the way that it is.,I think this looks pretty good.,So I'm going to click on send.,Once I click on send, I'm going to see a status change from RFQ to RFQ sent and in the chatter of the document.,I'm going to see the body of the email as well as the RFQ PDF attachment.,So I'll be able to check that out as well.,Let's say we sent it to the vendor, they agreed to se
