Report Toaster - Chart Reports

welcome back to report toaster tutorials, report toaster allows you to create, everything from simple data lists to,complex, chart reports this tutorial will explain,a little more about the basics of chart, reports, you use these when you're looking for, trends and data usually over a period of,time,we're going to get down here to a few of,the pre-built ones we have for you, this one's a 30-day summary pretty,self-explanatory,this one shows sales over a 30-day,period,charted over time,so we start by looking at the date range, limiter as i mentioned this, one goes limits to 30 days you can, change this to any of the pre-built,limiters here any period of time or have, your own, custom time limiter, you also do filters so you could filter,on,any field here in the shopify model,we can search to limit filters,we're going to leave these off for now,we're going to get into filters later in,a later tutorial,so we can also add and change columns, customize the columns available on the, report, here you can see all of the columns, available,in the model we could search by one here, maybe by the billing country code, add this in and maybe we don't care, here about discounts we're going to get,rid of discounts, and then maybe we want to move shipping,up a little bit here, and that's that for those familiar with, analytics and chart reports, based on a couple different um concepts, when it comes to the columns,non-numeric columns are called, dimensions those are, columns that just are going to show up,in the report then we've got metrics, which are, columns that are going to be aggregated, somehow, like some sort of limiter let's come, back here and look up,maybe price, here we go we can use net sales as an,example,we can take any aggregate here the, average the max the min or the default, which is the sum,you can see these that these metrics, are delineated by showing the number, sign there, and we can carry let's say we want to do,the, max that sales here to go next to the,sum of net sales choose okay, once the report refreshes you'll see,all the new columns that we added here, the country that we added here and we,can also then, change the way that we chart so we can,add a column to be charted,or take one away we can also sort so we,could change the, sort for example to sort by the most, recent date of orders created,so you could see everything recent to,older and then we have some advanced, options, those would be here like we can turn off,the chart if we'd like we can turn off, filters, get rid of those give us more screen, real estate and there are some advanced, options here that we'll get in in a,later tutorial, thanks for watching until next time, thanks for watching to watch more, tutorials you can go to,reporttoaster.kb.help,or visit our website at cloudlab.com

Let's move on to the first section of Report Toaster: Custom Reports

Report Toaster - Export and Download

Report Toaster - Export and Download

welcome back to report toaster tutorials, this time we're going to talk about, exporting and downloading your shopify, data through report toaster,we're going to go back to our familiar, orders data lists work with, and we're going to limit that to the, last 24 hours so we can see all the, orders that have been received in the, last 24 hours,so then you can see that list displayed, and we can do,here is we can download that list so,we'll start with downloading as a pdf,so you can see the bottom of the screen,is generating the download and when it's,done it'll pop up down there at the, bottom for us to look at i click that, that here opens in a browser you can see, that pdf,25 pages this could be once it's,downloaded you can email this off, share it with colleagues send it off to,you know a partner or something like, that we can also, download it in a json format which is,something, more familiar to programmers once that's,generated,i'll click that open it in the browser, you can see,it probably looks like gibberish to uri,but it could be very useful,if you're looking to import data into, another system or something, similar the last format we currently, have,is csv which you're probably familiar, with that's a comma separated value file, that's normally used in excel for, formatting or maybe, data parsing i'm going to open that one, click that that's going to open by,default in excel,i'm going to drag that up so you can, take a look at it,so there you can see all the orders that,we have here, included that you had included on the, report so if you customize the report to,add more columns etc you'll get more, data,in your downloads and exports so we can, also look at the history,of our downloads and from here you can,see the last few we've done,i can go ahead and do the json again if,i wanted to re-download it,you can see it comes down at the bottom,of the screen here i can open that just, like we did, before once it opens there we go,or we can click the link let's grab this, pdf link,we'll go back up here we'll open a,browser window you could send this in an,email,to someone and then it there it is it,downloads that, pdf the same pdf we were looking at,earlier so a lot of power with the, export and download to,you know share with others email you, know send links, whatever it is you need it for so that's,the end of this tutorial, thanks and we'll see you again soon, thanks for watching to watch more, tutorials you can go to,reporttoaster.kb.help,or visit our website at cloudlab.com

Report Toaster - Introduction

Report Toaster - Introduction

hi there and welcome to our introduction,of some of the basic functionality, report toaster uh just a little getting, started for you,so when you come in the first thing, you'll see is we have this menu on the, left hand side that has all of our, reports with 80 plus pre-built reports,so you can see,or order reports, fulfillment reports,so to get started we made this search, menu for you so you could hone in on,what you're looking for so let's say,we're looking for something related to,variance just type variant and i can do,pick this sales by product variant, that's going to go ahead and show us,sales broken down by our products see,all these sales numbers here um but you, always have this date range up in the, upper right that's going to be the, driver for,you know how what period of time you're,looking at your data for so let's change, this want to do this for the previous, month,so see our sales for the previous month, instead of daily let's break this down, let's do a summary so it only shows it,one row here per product variant that we,sold last month so,as you can see we've got a number of,these, and we're going to go ahead and add a,few columns so you can use this little, button up here the columns button that, brings up the dialog allows us to search, and find different columns to add,so let's say we want to see our costs, related to our sales and maybe we want,to see how much profit we made on all of,these sales i'm going to add these, columns here's by dragging them, from right to left, and let's say i want to change sku to be,above title we'll do that hit ok,we come back all those changes are in,place i can see my costs and my profits, here, and all is good,so,let's then say we wanted to filter um,let's say we wanted to do we only wanted,to see products where, the title contains say swan, put that and you can see it quickly, limits us to all our products that have, swan in the title we can add any number,of conditions here using, pretty much anything in the shopify data, model, you can add ands ors you can add groups,of conditions so very powerful function, let's get rid of these go back to where,we started, and we're going to show you how to sort,so sorting has you know three states by,column do ascending descending or off, this one currently has descending by,sales so we can see which products sold, the most let's turn this one let's say,we wanted it ascending see the unicorn, sold the least, back to descending supreme swan sold the, most and turn it off so now we're not, sorting by this column let's instead, sort by title now we're sorting, ascending by titles we're getting, alphabetical order by our title here, say we're happy with this report we can,now save it so we come here to this, little uh paper icon and say save to my,reports,uh let's,call this, intro, sales by product variant hit ok,and we're going to get this over on our,my reports see we already have a bunch, saved here but this one's going to be,the one we just saved, and that's going to allow us to come, back to it la

Playwright Allure Report | Playwright Tutorial - Part 38

Playwright Allure Report | Playwright Tutorial - Part 38

hey guys my name is kaushik and welcome, back to another playwright tutorial,in this video we are going to discuss, how to integrate the allure report in,our existing code okay,so for that of course we need the, version 1.13,so first of all go to your package.json, and here you can see that we have,we already have the um playwright, test and the playwright version of,1.12.3 right so,now i have changed this to 1.13.0 make, sure the playwright test,as well as the playwright version should,be 1.13.0,okay and once you change the version, just go to your, terminal control j to bring up the, terminal and give npm,i and that will download all the latest, dependencies, and along with that we will get the, latest chromium version that is,version 93 and the firefox version 90,and the webkit version of 14.2 ipd okay,so once i uh once you do the changes you,can see that the browsers are going to,get downloaded, already i have downloaded so it's just,uh,updated the package so here you cannot, see any download but,in your case if you are doing it for the, first time of course you will see that, okay, and apart from that also we need this, experimental, allure playwright if this is not there,of course we cannot get the reporter, okay so make sure you are going to add, this, this asset okay you can take a,screenshot and probably you can, make changes in your package.json or,else check the description i will add,all this dependency,in the description okay and the name, here is says like experimental because, this is the initial, release of allure report with playwright, but, definitely in future it will change to,allure, dash playwright okay so the experimental, will be removed uh,and you can get that in the npm packages,as well okay, that is uh nothing but the npm packages, website right you know that okay so,first thing,we have to do the changes in the, package.json then go to your,playwright.com.js file,i mean ts file and there we are going to,add one more,uh experimental feature in the reporter,so already we know that in the reporter,we have, something like this right so we have, this one like uh,the reporter the dot that is going to be,visible in the, console and json is nothing but the file, here we get right, this dot i mean test dash result.json, for that, and now we are going to add one more, array and within that we are going to,specify the experimental alluring, playwright, okay uh all the codes you can get it,from the description i will upload, everything in the github okay, that's it very simple this is what we,actually need okay, now let's go to any of our test uh so,i'm not going to change anything on our, test so here we have very simple,uh test using page object model and of,course the fixture okay,so here we have before each hook where,we are getting our little dot in,uh the website and then we have only one, test and that is for login positive with, the positive data, and of course it should pass okay now go,back to,your terminal and make sure you have, mentioned that in your test match okay,no

Creating Reports in PATGuard 3 PAT Testing Software

Creating Reports in PATGuard 3 PAT Testing Software

so to create reports we need the reports, tab so if we go down here to reports and,I click on reports what you'll see is,that we've got a number of pre-designed,reports that are already included in,that card some of these you will use a,lot some of these you won't it just, depends on which ones you want and which, ones are more useful and others and, again you'll get to know that as you go,through you can also alter edit create, your own reports as well so this is very, much a basic list and I'm just going to,take you through what these these items, are on here one at a time now the way,the reports work is effectively let's,just do a concise asset list so I click,on the report and to generate the report,it asks me some basic data so say again,my colleague has asked me for a list of,everything that's in the kitchen on the, ground floor so I simply select the, client,I select ground-floor and I select the, kitchen,we could select between certain asset, numbers but I just want a list of,everything that's in the kitchen we,could also select a particular item so,we could have a list of the soldiering, irons or the vacuum cleaners or the, lamps we could do that by make we could,do that by model we could also do it by,test data so if I just wanted to see all,the things that have failed in the, kitchen and all the things that have, passed again we can do that now if there, was photographs stored in the database, again we can select whether we want to,see photographs as well so if,photographs have been taken we simply, select which ones we want on the reports, and which ones we don't so I've just set, this up to give me a basic list of,everything that's in the kitchen so I,simply press ok and it's generated a,report so if I just zoom in so I can use,the little plus and minus signs here to,zoom in or I can select off here to go,to page width for example and that will, show me the report now on the report you,can see because we set up our C word, logo earlier we can see we've got the C,word logo at the top of the report this,is what we call a concise asset list, again you can edit these titles if you, wanted it specific to your company and,it gives me the details of when we've,actually generated the report as well on,how many pages there are so there's a,lot of information in there down at the, bottom we've also got a footer,so if we go down the bottom we've also, got a footer here and the photo is,basically got the details of my,organization so if I filled all that in,that photo information is in there, let's just go back up again so what we,can see on here is that we've got the, client hotel and conference center, ground floor and the location is the, kitchen here's the offset IDs here's the, descriptions of all the assets that are,in the ground-floor kitchen and it tells,me that's 12 assets total so that's a,very basic report that I could then do,things with so what can I do with it,well we've got the option here to print,so I can print the items,I can either print the current page or

Shopify | Making Reports Work For You

Shopify | Making Reports Work For You

hello and welcome to another episode of,the ecommerce coffee break today we want,to talk about data and reporting, obviously data is a huge field and when,it comes to shopify you get certain, tools on board but we want to just, extend that a little bit and go deeper, into the topic of reporting therefore, with me today sam zesty he is the, founder of cloudlab.com,and also an active member of the shopify, community cloudlab was founded in 2020,with the purpose to providing back, office solution for shopify versions and,one of their apps is report toaster and, that's what we're going to talk about, today hi sam how are you today, great cause how are you i'm very well, thank you share a little bit about you,who do you serve why do you decided to,start um building your app for shopify,or store owners, yeah so,my me and my partner we've been working, together on and off for almost 30 years, now um you know since when i was out of,university and,you know we our background is enterprise, back office financial software he has, also a background and some big data, analytics stuff, and we had worked on a previous job with,a company that did,you know partially served shopify as a,shopify app but tried to serve all of,the e-commerce platforms woo etc, and, you know we really liked the shopify, ecosystem we kind of fell in love with,it actually we thought there we think,it's still early i know that a lot of,people you know think that wild west, days are over but i think that there's,still a lot of opportunity here, and so you know as i said i think the, back office here is underserved i think, there's a ton of apps out there for, upsell and cross-sell and you know all,the stuff that helps you you know get, your customers engaged at the time of,sale, but we feel there's very little um,sophistication in the way of tools for, merchants especially small merchants, people that may be,they're not super tech savvy they are, just they just run a small store um,don't have a lot of background in this, all the way up you know with our, backgrounds and enterprise software um,you know we thought we could also scale,up to the big guys you know we have plus, clients that are you know selling, hundreds of thousands of orders a month, and you know we we can believe we can, offer value at both places so that's,that's kind of how we got started um,knew we would do something data related, just based on our background, and, based you know we have a framework that,my partner's written and,it really lends itself well to doing ad,hoc reporting so we thought why not, start there and see where it goes, okay it will make subtle sense obviously, reporting is a huge part or should be a,huge part of every business as i said i,think it's a bit underserved i mean, obviously depending on what kind plan, you have in shopify you have different, reports that are coming out of the box,you have a,report builder in there but also it does, not really point a store owner, specifically if they're,starting a new business or as a small, and medium ent

Building Dashboards

Building Dashboards

hello everyone I'm Shannon Turner and I,am gonna be presenting on how to build, dashboards this was a presentation that,I gave at client con 2019 if you're new,to creating reports generally I would, recommend first watching the video on,how to create reports with the query, builder because dashboards are reports, that will allow you to pull in,information from other reports we're,going to get to that in just a minute so,before we talk about dashboards, specifically let's talk really super, quickly about reports here I have a,report that's going to give me the top,20 sources of actions over the last week,so it's a way of answering the question,of where have my actions been coming, from you can see that this report has, been created with the query builder if,you prefer you can write sequel code to,create your your report instead or you,can use the query builder as a starting, point and then write your custom sequel, whether you use the query builder or you, write your own sequel here's the results, that we're gonna get for running this, report we get a nice table that tells me,where my actions are coming from this is,good but what if I wanted to combine, this with another report and have, multiple reports on one single page, query reports get data from the database, and they give you a table of results, like we saw in the last slide dashboards, can take data from one or more of those, reports and display them however you, like using HTML you don't need to know a,ton of HTML in order to use dashboards, but if you do know a little bit of HTML,it'll certainly help let's take a look,at this dashboard the daily overview, dashboard we can see that there's lots,of tables of results in this dashboard,so this must be pulling data from, multiple reports let's take a look at,the code that makes up this dashboard, because I think this is one of the best, ways to learn how to do this look at how,it's being done, with built-in reports so looking at a,portion of the HTML that makes up this, dashboard we can see that we have a,header that says mailed followed by a,snippet that will run the report called, overview underscore mailed then there's,a header called mailings and a snippet, that runs a report overview underscore, mailing status and finally there's a,header for actions and a snippet that, runs a report overview underscore, actions you can see how this HTML code, and snippets for the reports work, together to build out the report itself,so let's make a dashboard of our own, from the reports tab let's click add, dashboard in the right-hand sidebar now, let's create a name in a short name in a,description just like we would for any, other report here I've named my report,Shannon Test dashboard since that's what,I'm gonna be using it for just testing, things out seeing if they work and I'm,going to put a note about it being my,first dashboard and that I'm testing, things that way other staff members know, not to rely on it next we're going to,add in some HTML code don't be,intimidated if you haven't w

How to Convert Dynamics NAV C/SIDE Objects to RTC Objects in Seconds

How to Convert Dynamics NAV C/SIDE Objects to RTC Objects in Seconds

okay hi everybody welcome to today's,event,I'm Jason Gumpert from EMS dynamics, worldcom and we're here for a session, all about seaside object converters a,presenter our primary presenter is,Tetris for tennis and it's great to have, him back he's joined by Emma as well who, will be also presenting a little later,as we get started today please know that,we do welcome your questions you can, enter them through the Q&A block you, should see to the right of the main, presentation area if you don't see it,please look for the question mark icon,in the upper right of the WebEx window, that should enable it for you so without, any further delay I think we're ready to,get started at welcome thank you Jason,hi everyone welcome to our webinar on,automated seaside objects inverters my,name is Patrick Dennis I'm the CEO no,I'll be presenting you today the, automated seaside objects converters by,supernova and my colleague Irma will, introduce and differend will help me,answer the technical questions is your, technical questions at the end,so on our agenda today I'd like to take,a couple of minutes in the beginning to,talk about the importance of nav abrade, and navigate tools then I'd like to take, another minute to discuss why are those, useful matters and why converters are do,two reports are important then I am well, get to the main part of this, presentation the demo or five examples I,have for today so I have four different, reports I'm going to convert into one, data port and we'll wrap up with the, tools package and pricing information, how you can get a free trial how how you,can get the pricing information will we,have that at the very end and this, should take around 25 to 30 minutes and, then we will get to the questions to get, answers so let's begin by discussing why, upgrades still matter so according to,numbers I have from Microsoft,70% of the end users out there,so 70% of those 130,000 users are still, running 2009 or older so that is why the, upgrade discussion is still relevant the,Archie has been available for almost 10,years now and the majority of users have, not converted yet so does it mean they, don't want to do that well no I normally, hear the following reasoning from the,end users that it takes too much time, from our key users part that doesn't,have the time or the golden phrase why, change was not broken but the most, popular one is of course it is too, expensive it is often quoted at a higher, cost than the initial implementation, since partners need to redevelop all the, functionality debts then developed over, the years since the initial, implementation so that's what it makes,it right so expensive well you may ask,why so why do they need to upgrade right, well probably no need to say that it,brings much new functionality it's,easier to integrate with other software,it's more secure and reliable it's,faster and you're able to move on to,Azure however however if it's too, expensive, you need to find ways to make it,affordable since customers will turn to,other earpiece
