How to create Shopify custom report in Report Pundit

hi there my name is Amelia and welcome,to report panda tutorials,in this video we will walk you through,the process of creating a new custom,report,before we get started let's answer an,obvious question what exactly is a,custom report,a custom report is one that you design,by selecting the fields you want to,include from the list of available,Fields adding your own simple calculated,Fields rearranging the fields specifying,filter conditions Etc,in other words you can build relevant,reports using your own logic,pundit you can create custom reports,from scratch or simply edit an existing,pre-made report from our library,so let's begin by building a custom,report from scratch,build a new custom report from three,report punditarias,the home page,report Library,foreign,section,let's go ahead and create a custom,report from the my reports section,you'll want to begin by naming your new,report in this example I've chosen a,sales by product report and named it,test,next you can then choose a report metric,based on your needs here we are,selecting the order and product metric,for this report,the order and product metric contains,specific Fields as shown here no worries,you can always add more Fields later,here in the report creation area select,your desired date range for our example,we'll select the last 30 days date range,then it's time to add your desired,fields,so we'll go ahead and choose product,title,product vendor,product type,net quantity,gross sales,discount,foreign,net sales,and finally tax,as you can see our chosen Fields appear,below the search option,when you're ready click the left sidebar,to see selected Fields as they appear in,values rows and column groups,numeric-based Fields will appear in the,values group and text-based Fields,appear in the rows group,The Columns group is an advanced,optional feature that supports row or,number based Fields within a column data,View for the table format,you can also rearrange selected Fields,however you'd like in your report,however you should not Place row group,Fields into the values group or vice,versa this may break your report,foreign,but you can rearrange fields in the,detailed reports section,just go to formatting and enable switch,to detailed report,you can then rearrange Fields as you'd,like,once the report is created don't forget,to save it,received reports are available in the my,reports page,foreign,you can also optionally search report,pundit to find your report by name,thanks for watching this report funded,help video have a great day
