hello today I'm going to walk you,through how to create an email in the,template editor from scratch to get on,this page you'll want to click the,switch template blue button in the top,right corner of the page once you click,it a new window will open showcasing,multiple template options scroll to the,bottom and click new template on the,bottom left hand side and then click,confirm on the right hand side of the,editor you'll find two main elements for,creating an email content and rows first,let's create the structure or framework,of the email click the drop-down and,then choose empty here you'll see,multiple options for all types of,designs you can use these to create a,blueprint for your email like this now,that we have the structure set up we can,fill in the blanks with the type of,content we want the editor offers a,variety of options for content like text,images buttons HTML blocks social links,dividers and video on the right hand,side the editor will display a list of,parameters and setup options for each,content type for example you'll see,options for color links height padding,and more you'll also get a text editor,box to control the text style and add,more advanced stuff like dynamic tags,and special links such as shoppers first,name,next I'll drag an image block in when,you click on the row you'll see lots of,editing options for the image being,displayed on the right-hand side of the,page,you can control the width of the image,at effects filters and padding along,with the link attached to the image and,more,to upload your image click browse an,image folder will open up click on my,files and you'll see the images you've,previously uploaded choose your image,once uploaded you can adjust the image,dimensions on the right-hand side notice,there are options to hide something on,mobile every single content block and,row structure can be chosen to be,displayed or hidden on mobile and,desktop now I'm going to quickly create,the rest of an email for you,remarking was designed to work with your,commerce data and help you send the,right content to the right person so,here is where the fun and powerful stuff,happens remarketing makes your life,easier by letting you add dynamic,content like personal coupons predictive,product recommendations card order items,and more for example we can include a,discount in this email by clicking on,rows and choosing coupons,it's also important to stop and save,your work every once in a while just in,case if you've made a mistake or would,like to rollback you can undo your,changes or jump back in the time line,within the current session so in just a,few steps you can create your own email,template and even save it for a future,template or only save specific rows for,the goose and later campaigns,once you're finished head over to the,preview tab here you'll have the option,to preview your completed email and,change your view from mobile to desktop,on the right-hand corner of the preview,page,lastly you can send a test

hi there I'm max from remarketing and,today we're going to talk about how to,use the new remarketing template editor,so this is the template editor page so,after you choose what campaign that you,want to deliver you can then customize,the look and feel there's a couple of,different tabs that I want you to pay,attention to there's the general tab,that's where you're going to edit the,segmentations the content tab and that's,where you're actually going to design,the email the preview tab where you can,see how it's going to look on mobile and,desktop and then the delivery tab where,you'll be able to choose whether to put,this into test mode run mode or paused,so this is an inactive customer campaign,and we're automatically going to give,you some imagery and some text so that,you could basically put this campaign,live almost instantly but you're,probably going to want to customize that,that look and feel slightly to match,your brand so first things first over,here on the left are all of the,different content elements that you can,drop into this email since this is an,inactive customer campaign you're,probably going to want to recommend,products to upsell or bring your,customers back in fact record product,recommendations are a great element to,have in almost all of your email,campaigns so as you can see I'm dragging,the product recommendations into the,email and by clicking on any part of,this you can edit the text and kind of,change it up a little bit so I'm going,to change this to top picks for you and,I'm also going to change the call to,action,and as you can see there's no images,here right now but when I preview it,you'll actually see how these product,recommendations will change depending on,the customer we have another video about,product recommendations that will give,you a better explanation of what you can,do with this now there's a couple,different variations of coupons that you,can added the emails texts on the bottom,text on the top and as you kind of go,through design your campaigns you can,kind of adjust the look and feel and,really see what you like best I'm going,to drop in some social icons and I think,this looks pretty good I think one thing,that I'd like to do is customize the,text a little bit more so it's,personalized and more relevant so what,I'm going to do is actually click on,this little tab here and what I see here,are a series of dynamic tags I can,customize an ad in my store name my,store contact information the URL I can,also add in customer personalizations so,I want to add the customers first name,since I'm saying to your customer it,will say dear so and so I can also,mention how many orders they place with,us last order date and a few other,things as well as you can see this email,looks pretty good I want to preview it,now as you can see this is the desktop,preview and with the recommendations on,the bottom automatically being populated,now I want to see how it's going to look,different for a different customer so,wha
