hello and welcome to episode 3 of the,recard,welcome pop-up introduction series,in the first episode we set up our,welcome pop-up,and customized its appearance in episode,2,i showed you how you can edit the,conversation flow,to suit your needs and we went over some,creative uses of the tools,that are available in the conversation,flow editor,now i'm going to show you how to connect,record,to your clavio and sms bump accounts to,sync,collected phone numbers and email,addresses and,automatically add them to the selected,lists,so here we are once again on the,conversation starters page,after verifying that my welcome pop-up,is enabled,i'll go to the integrations page,first i'll set up clavio by clicking on,activate,i need to enter my public api key and,private api key,both of them can be found on the clavio,dashboard under,account settings api keys,i'll copy and paste both and the green,check marks tell me that the credentials,seem to be correct,the next step is to select the list,where new contacts will be added by,recart,i could select an existing list in,clavio,but i think it's best to keep things,separated so i'll click on,create new list and enter a list name,then i click on connect to clavio to,save my integration details,as you can see the integration is now,enabled,which means that all collected email,addresses and phone numbers will be,added to the selected play view list by,recart,as an added bonus ricard adds further,personal info to all contacts in klavio,including their name language,preferences time zone,and gender this info can also be used to,segment my clavio emails which will be,very useful when i want to,improve my clavio funnels next,let's set up sms bump here,we only need one api key the easiest way,to get it is by logging,in to smsbump.com clicking my profile,name,integration and copying the api key,for the default app,click connect to save and validate the,credentials,i will also create a new list for my,record subscribers within sms bump,and save it,now i have both the clavio and the sms,bump integration enabled,meaning the new phone numbers will be,added in both clavio and,sms bump while email addresses will be,added in klavio,in case you prefer a written manual for,the integrations we have them available,in the help center at help.record.com,as a final step i will go to the welcome,pop-up conversation flow,to add a save user input to my flow and,set it up similarly,to how i showed you in the last video in,case you missed it,i definitely recommend going back and,watching it,that's the end of the record welcome,pop-up introduction series,we have learned why the welcome pop-up,is extremely effective,how you can customize the appearance and,set up creative,interactive conversation flows and sync,collected emails,and phone numbers with clavio and sms,bump,don't forget that the welcome pop-up,will only be shown to mobile visitors,so you can achieve the best results if,you keep your current pop-up enabled for,desktop visitors,afte

(laughs),I was blind but now I see.,- Yeah, no, definitely,,and it's very interesting,,from not only in our field,,but also just like from a general marketing perspective.,When you kind of,,most eCommerce companies are,focusing on email.,Email is the backbone of all marketing strategies,for any eCommerce company,,and then now SMS has been introduced,which is pretty interesting,and still rather new with most companies.,But if you wanna go even more,down the newer rabbit hole,,the shiny object rabbit hole,,as you said, you see Messenger marketing,,and it's actually a, totally a new tool,,but it's a very useful and awesome tool,to engage and reach your consumers.,I think the biggest issue though is education, right?,Even when I was applying for this job,,I had no clue what Messenger marketing was,so I had to do my due diligence.,So that's a big factor for us, 2020,,and then also next year, education.,So that's what I am--,- That's what we're here for, right?,So we're gonna show all of you guys,,and I think that there was a fad for Messenger marketing,probably last year.,Probably somewhere around last year,everybody was just talking about it,,but then it kind of died down,,and then it almost seemed like,it was never gonna come back,,but now the most rising CPMs.,Especially after kind of the grasp of COVID is going down,,I see a lot of people exploring some new ways,to be competitive again, to scale furthers,,to reach their audience through new media,,and so I think this is gonna be a useful thing.,So today, we'll talk about Messenger marketing,,we'll talk about all those insane funnels,,how to set it up and things like that.,And there are really some strategies,that I think some people are gonna like here,,especially if you're at a point,where you're kind of clueless,and you're searching for some new ideas,on how to scale your business further,,or maybe your ROASs have dropped,and you wanna find some new funnel to explore,to counteract that when nothing else is working,,then Recart can be your friend as well.,And yeah, I'm just also curious to see,some kind of numbers from this,'cause I know that once people see what's possible,,then they will listen, right,,to the conversation. - Yeah, d
