hey everybody this is our your own link,with Kabu Kabu so the first question,that we've been having is it's awesome,to get people over to your website but,what do you do afterwards what do you do,to make sure that you're basically,optimizing the amount of money that,you're spending to get the consumer or,the potential client to your website,well one of the things that we've been,doing in the e-commerce world in,particular is focusing on our abandoned,cart the abandoned cart is any time that,someone puts something into a cart and,then decides you know what I'm not gonna,purchase it I'm gonna move on to a,different website or I'm gonna leave,that said we've already spent good money,to get this person who we believe is a,qualified consumer over to the website,but we're losing them at that point so,what we have put together and it's you,know a typical type of tactic is,basically called an abandoned cart email,as well as retargeting today we're just,going to talk about the abandoned cart,email in one of our Shopify accounts,where we sell products that range,anywhere from $30 up to $1500 the,average Shopify recapture of abandoned,cart is about 7% we are very fortunate,right now for the last 30 days we've,been averaging 33% and I want to share,some of the tips of what we're doing in,order to accomplish that the first thing,that we're making sure that we do is,that if someone leaves we're getting,them an email very very quickly actually,within 60 minutes we're not waiting for,6 hours or 24 hours or even two days to,go by we're getting right back to them,and in some cases depending upon what,they've put in and some of the,qualifications of how much they've,actually put into their cart we're,giving them a discount because our,belief is is that they're really excited,about the product but they're feeling,that maybe it's a little bit too,expensive well we've already spent the,money to get this person to come over to,the website and become interested in the,products that we're selling so we don't,want to lose them so what we've done is,we've extended what we feel would be a,generous discount sometimes it's 10%,sometimes it's as high as 20 or 25% in,order to recapture that purchase what,we've now noticed is that within,probably a day we're getting that email,to them the individual is clicking on it,relooking at their cart sometimes,changing it but 33% of the time they are,actually finishing up their actual,purchase this is making a huge,difference in our growth on a couple of,our websites and it's something that I,think everybody should be looking at,what we believe is is the speed the,knowledge of what the person is putting,in with an appropriate discount promo or,message in that sense and what we've,also done is make sure that if anybody's,putting in carts that amount to a,thousand dollars or more we are,personally following up as part of the,team that's handling the website and,asking them about their experience,seeing if there's anything that we can,help t

hello today I want to tell you about a,powerful new feature found within,pinnacle card called drift marketing,essentially what drift marketing does is,it sends out a series of emails to,customers potentially providing them an,incentive for them to come back and,complete a card that they have abandoned,or they have left items in first thing I,want to do is take you to one of our,blog postings that I think does a really,good job of visually representing how,drift marketing works so that customer,comes to your store and starts adding,items to your card for whatever reason,they become distracted whether they want,to comparison shop whether there's kids,in the background whatever maybe they,end up abandoning the cart and closing,down their browser at that point in time,the drift marketing feature will start,kicking in and what it's going to do,depending on the way that you set it up,it's going to start sending out a series,of emails to that customer potentially,providing in a discount or an incentive,for them to come back and complete that,abandoned cart so now that we have an,idea of how trips marketing or what just,marketing is what I want to do is show,you how you get in the back of the,application and set that up so here we,are in the back of the pinnacle cart,administration area what you're going to,want to do is go to the marketing tab,and you're going to want to select the,drift marketing campaign link so here,first screen that comes up is we're,going to have to set up a campaign and,of course we can set up a number of,these campaigns so for this one I'm just,going to call it testing and now i'm,going to select how often or when I want,that this particular email to be sent,out so I can send out immediately 15,minutes after that cart goes abandon an,hour after it goes abandoned whatever it,may be I already have a couple set up,here so I'm going to set this one up for,five days after I can then create an,email subject telling them to come on,back of course you might want to use,something's a little bit more marketing,punch and then you can start to see the,content that's going to be in the email,if you look here you can see there's,both email or HTML and text email,content you can visually change this you,can add text to it do whatever you want,to do the promotional messages are all,up to you what is important is that you,have a couple things always in these,emails and we have them listed up here,this particular,variable needs to be listed in it to,ensure that all the items within that,abandoned cart is showing back to the,customer and also that the cart link is,provided to the customer so they can,click on it and go back and complete the,order now I know a lot of you want these,emails to come out to look kind of,enticing it looks very professional so,one of the options you can do is go into,google and type in free email templates,and you're potentially going to get,something like this select whatever,email template you want to use pick up,the HT

hey guys welcome back to the monkey show,my name is Alex and I hope you're doing,well wherever you are today I'm making a,video about WooCommerce and specifically,about this wonderful amazing plugin,called the WooCommerce cart abandonment,recovery plug-in by Cod flows it is a,free plugin and if you have a,WooCommerce store this is a plugin that,I believe you must have installed on,your site in fact the functionality,being able to recover abandoned carts is,a functionality that you simply cannot,do without now just to be clear in case,you don't fully understand what I mean,what this plug-in does is that it's able,to keep track of customers who come to,your site they add items to their cart,but then for some reason they don't,finish the process of actually paying,for those items so this button can,actually notify you and say hey we've,had this customer they've added these,items to their cart but it didn't check,out so but this plug-in you can actually,send follow-up emails to those customers,you can offer them coupons discounts,things like that so this is an amazing,plugin that every worker must or should,have so if you don't have this,functionality already active on your,website and you want to do so you're,gonna enjoy this video so sit back relax,and let's get started all right so let's,take a look at how to use the plugin,that i have already installed it you can,see it's right here,they will come as cart abandonment,recovery and to access the settings I'm,gonna go over to WooCommerce and then,down here you would see cart abandonment,I'm gonna click inside and there's gonna,be the general report and of course I've,just installed it on a website I don't,really use so you can see right now we,don't have any any reports nothing to,see in here I will show you one of my,actual websites where I do use the,plug-in later so you will see more over,here but let's take a look first of all,at the general settings tab so right,here you do have some interesting,features which I'm going to show you,first things first of course you want,make sure that enable tracking is ticked,of course this is the major function of,the plugin so of course make sure that,this box is ticked,now you could disable tracking for,specific kinds of users on your site if,you wanted to you have the boxes right,here and then you want to notify,recovery to the admin so whenever anyone,has successfully purchased a product on,their cart,thanks to this plug-in you will be,notified so you want to take this box,right here now you do have the coupon,settings the plug-in has the ability to,create coupons automatically for you I,will show you how in just a moment but,you want to make sure that you delete,those coupons either automatically or,manually I'll recommend automatically,what this means simply means is that,once those coupons have expired or,they've been used the plug-in will,automatically delete them for you so,I'll recommend that or again you do have,the option of doing this manually but

in this video i want to illustrate,abandoned cart and setting up an,abandoned cart flow,it's at least two-thirds of customers,that have added stuff to their cart that,had to end up abandoning,their carts so we want to be able to,recapture those customers and,get them back to repurchase their,product so,we've added this node that allows us to,check,the e-commerce whether it's shopify or,woocommerce,and see whether or not the customer has,abandoned their cart,the abandoned cart node does have a,two-hour delay built into it,if you want to extend that you can add a,time delay so we'll go ahead and drag a,time delay over here,to be able to extend that some people,like to send it four hours afterwards,some like to send it the next day it,just depends on your preference,we not only can we send emails to the,customer to let them know they've,abandoned their cart but we can also,send them an sms text message,and in the email body and in the text,message,just be sure to include the link to your,store,most often that is your store url slash,cart and that will take the customer,directly back to the cart,hopefully at some point will be more,dynamic and be able to show the customer,what they,have in their cart within the email but,currently,we're limited as to what we can do but,we do allow,the ability to do this and most often,it's just slash cart and that will take,the customer back to their cart or it,will take them to the login page,where they can log in and view their,cart,so we're gonna wait three hours after,the customers abandon the cart and then,we're just gonna do a ha,check a house transaction see just if,they've had a transaction over the,course of that three hours,if they have not had the transaction,then we're gonna send that first email,that email is gonna say something along,the lines of hey you forgot something,or you can also be more fun and make it,more brand specific and,and taylor make it to who you are as a,brand maybe if you're selling grocery,product you're like hey don't let your,food get moldy hurry and go get it now,or,if you're an outdoor brand say hey the,mountains are calling or something along,those lines you can be fun,so we're going to send that first email,then we're going to wait a day and,always again we're going to check to see,if there's been a transaction,because we want to tell a different,story if they've already purchased,so if they haven't purchased then we're,going to send that second email,and then that second email is going to,be another general nudge maybe it's a,selling a benefit or a feature along,your product or so,again selling your why then if they,still haven't purchased we're going to,wait three days,again here we do want to put in the has,transaction,so before that email,i'm not showing that here for whatever,reason but we do want to make sure that,we,we just check to see if there's a,transaction each and every time,so and then after that then we can start,to do,some of the more data science features,withi

hey y'all,i'm jess frick i am director of managed,applications products here at nexus,and i am joined by my friend dave,rodenbaugh,from recapture io dave,thank you so much for joining me i know,it's only five minutes,but i appreciate your time well thank,you for having me jess this is awesome,i am super excited to be a nexus partner,and we've got a lot to talk about in,five minutes,we do we do but you know let me first,start by saying,i love recapture you are one of my very,favorite partners,because of the value that you bring to,customers but you know one of the things,i really want to talk to you about,is email merchants seem to have this,irrational,fear of email why do you think that is,you know this is something that i have,noticed with a lot of customers in,recapture over the years,and it is at first it's surprising to me,and second of all,it is kind of astonishing uh because,when you aren't sending emails you're,not connecting with your audience you,cannot do,anything with them you're you're,basically just,quietly sitting in the corner you know,eating your little fruit cup here hoping,that somebody will invite you to the,rest of the party that's not how it,works you've gotten to,like you've got to get out there and,send email and,you know people get super timid oh i'm,just going to send one email and it's,just going to be,i don't want to bother them i don't want,to annoy them and they're going to think,i'm spamming them and none of this is,true absolutely zero of it is true,if you have a store and somebody's,visited your store,they want to hear from you if they like,your product and,if they're putting something in a cart,trust me they like your product yeah i,know i've done it a million times i go,somewhere i like what i'm seeing,i throw it in my cart and i get,distracted,so abandon carts like it happens to the,best of us,what can people do to you know avoid,that,well that's a great question and it's,obviously a specialty of ours here at,recapture,because that's in our name recapture,abandoned carts and,you know the the core of abandoned car,to sort of,understanding the psychology behind why,people are leaving and there's you know,a dozen good reasons why people cannot,complete their transaction maybe,somebody came to the front door the kids,are screaming for dinner,um you know you forgot your credit card,in another room and then somebody talks,to you before you get back to the,computer,uh it could be that you had an,unpleasant surprise you got to the,checkout page and you're like ah,i don't like the shipping fees i mean,you know there's there's all kinds of,reasons this could possibly happen,so your job with,abandoned carts is to basically send,some kind of reminder to get the,customers to come back,and this is where the timidity and email,can really sort of bite you because if,you just send,one it's not enough to remind them like,you you can get,some pretty um so you can get some okay,results doing that,but you really got to push them a l
