How to add Product Quantity Breaks and Discount bundle on Shopify Product Page | 2022

welcome back graduates so today i'm,going to show you how to use and set up,your quantity breaks now this is,specifically displayed on the product,page just like this and it basically,allows,to buy in bulk and save for a discount,so i'm going to show you how to set it,up and install,and so i'm going to show you the,functionality so let's say i want to,purchase instead there's nothing in my,i want to buy five for this price off,for five percent and it'll be this price,so what i would do is add to cart but,notice how it says,no discounts will be applied during,checkout so this will reflect ad,checkout it won't display on it won't,reflect on the card however but let's,just add this to cart and now i have,five and it says at the original price,but remember it's only at checkout it's,displayed let's just view checkout and,it's 64.95,now when i view checkout,it should come up with the same price,five percent off,and then also 61.71 which is,and that's what you want to see,so let's get right into it three two one,here we go,and what you're going to want to do is,go into,your theme i don't have it on this theme,because if i go and preview this theme,and i go and click on studio brew,you'll see on my,product page i only have this but i,don't have the,quantity break so we can apply it to,this theme,so as always you are going to get a,html file right over here and then a,rtf file to open up,so what i want to do first is open up my,html,and it's going to look like this so,what's going to first tell me to do is,add the section eg quantity break,so that's what i'll do,i'm going to go into here edit code,and i am going to go and,close out of those and add a new section,and i'm going to call it eg,20,breaks,as a section,and then what i want to do is i want to,open up this file right here for the,section,it's going to give me this text i'm just,going to copy and paste,copy and paste,the next thing it has me do is you know,go into my footer in the theme.liquid so,i'm going to close out of this i'm going,to go into my theme.liquid at the layout,and you can control,control f for find and i'm going to the,footer,now i'm going to just go and add the,string eg quantity breaks into,underneath my footer so i have a lot of,these already but i'm just going to add,them,right like that and i'm going to click,save,now that's basically it the hard part's,over,so what i'm going to want to do is now,add the tag,quantity break to the products that i,want this feature on,so i believe that the studio brew was,already tagged um and to make sure,you're just gonna go into,your,products here and i'm gonna start adding,them so,studio cold brew or studio brew actually,go down sometimes uh shopify has a,scroll bug so you just gotta refresh a,little bit and you'll notice that the,tag is now quantity break so i'm just,copying and pasting that,and then i can add it to another one as,well,if i want to work on that so cold brew,bottle,so once this loads i'm just going to add,this tag just to k

was geht ab freunde des e commerce hallo,und herzlich willkommen bei kommen wie,und zu shoppen kurs teil 28 und dem,heutigen video sprechen wir mal über das,ganze thema quantity brakes über die app,konnte tiebreaks und wie du diese in,deine in deinen store bzw auf dein,produkt programmieren beziehungsweise,installieren kannst doch zuerst einmal,was überhaupt ist denn diese app konnte,tiebreaks beziehungsweise was können wir,damit machen also konnte ti bedeutet,letztendlich anzahl und mit dieser app,kannst du letztendlich bei spezifischen,produkten also das ist sicherlich nicht,überall anwendbar aber bei vielen,produkten könntest du hier quasi dem,kunde sagen so wie man das hier sieht,kauf 5 und erhalte zehn prozent auf 10,120 prozent und so weiter und so fort da,ein riesen vorteil ist natürlich dass,wenn du beispielsweise werbung schalten,ohne kunde mit cp xy in den shop puls,also zeit quasi nur einmal die,werbekosten und kannst aber einen,durchschnittlichen warenkorb dadurch,erhöhen und kann es dadurch natürlich,mehr umsatz und hoffentlich dann auch,mehr gewinn machen wann macht konnte,tiebreaks sind also das kommt natürlich,sehr sehr auf das produkt an hier zum,beispiel in diesem shop ist es jetzt,eine mütze hier sind aber hohe konnte,dies eingesetzt meistens macht man es so,dass man sagt kaufe zwei alte sophie,prozent oder kaufe 3 das ist natürlich,von produkt zu produkt absolut,unterschiedlich wo das natürlich sehr,gut funktioniert sind produkte,beispielsweise aus der haushalts nische,für den täglichen gebrauch oder socken,kleidung also wie gesagt das muss,natürlich aus produkt passen wenn du,irgendwie im high preissegment unterwegs,bist kann das natürlich auch alles,funktionieren aber wie gesagt es ist für,so alltägliche produkte einfach viel,viel einfacher anzuwenden und wird auch,sehr sehr oft genutzt sohn als nächstes,schauen wir uns an wie du diese app,installiert und auch einstellst in,deinem store für dein produkt damit du,auch direkt los gelegen kannst und zwei,gehen wir dafür in den shopping app,store und geben einfach kein tiebreak,sein ich muss immer dazu sagen es gibt,für jede art von app viele anbieter ja,weil immer wieder in den kommentaren,geschrieben wird ja diese app gibt es,auch dies kostenlos das ist auch cool,schreibt ja gerne rein ich sag's nur,dazu ich nehme natürlich immer die die,ich kenne und weiß dass sie funktioniert,diese app also diese hier oben die es,kostenlos für den ersten artikel danach,kostet das 15 dollar im monat wie gesagt,es gibt sicherlich andere apps die das,gleiche machen und vielleicht ein,bisschen weniger kosten aber wenn du das,richtig anbietet die konnte die brakes,und guten job dann läuft das ding durch,dann die die 15 dollar die hasseler in,drei stunden wieder reingeholt sprich,wir werden uns zusammen diese app,installieren und dann für dein produkt,einrichten so wir befinden uns jetzt im,dashboard der app konnte tiebreaks und,das sieht dann hier so aus du kannst,erst mal hier oben rechts die sp

hey guys it's sebastian squid here in,this video i'm going to get into my,computer,show you guys pretty much all of the,apps i use on my websites personally,explain why they're beneficial and,actually show you one that has generated,me,around 134 000 in the last i believe 40,or 45 days,so a lot of these apps can both help,improve your conversion rates get you,more sales,and overall make you a lot more money,and make your life easier when you're,running a drop shipping store,some of these apps are free however some,are paid so keep that in mind but i will,show you guys the pricing for all of,these before i get into my computer,though be sure to smash the like button,and click subscribe below because i post,daily dropshipping content,and if you guys would like to check out,my instagram i'll do a link in the,description because i do polls q and a's,and sometimes i do videos where i do,live store reviews,for you guys and i do all that stuff i,get the inputs on my instagram page so,if you guys again,want to follow me i'll have a link in,the description for that but now that,that is all out of the way let's get,into my computer,the first app is called candy rack candy,rack is a pre-purchase,upsell that essentially integrates onto,your product page so if someone clicks,add to cart what will happen is candy,rack will do a pop-up,where they say hey would you also like,to buy this would you like to get faster,processing times would you like to get,an extra warranty,or anything along the lines of that if,you have a congruent product you sell,you can upsell that product whatever the,case may be candy rack is something that,increases your average order value quite,a bit,it is 30 a month however you do have a,14 day free trial for this so it's,pretty beneficial if you're already,doing 10k plus per month,i suggest getting onto this app even if,you're doing a few thousand dollars a,month 30 dollars,a few orders can pay for that pretty,easily even one to two so,definitely a beneficial app i'll show,you guys a great example of it,so here's just a generic product page,it's not really nice it's one of their,generic ones just to show off the app,and how it works so essentially i will,click add to cart,and candy rack pops up and just up sells,you tons of products so you have this,normal alarm clock would you like to,upgrade to this one and then you can,click upgrade and then it'll upgrade and,then you need batteries for this,you can upgrade and you can pick a four,pack or an eight pack or something like,that,and then they have a first in line,upsell so they normally do,three day processing times but you can,do same-day processing times for an,extra five dollars,and then also an extended warranty for,forty dollars including,no questions asked so essentially you,have an extended warranty where if the,product gets broken or something,you can add this for an extra peace of,mind and if the product breaks or,anything happens to it you can just get,a new one really easily,an

hello everyone thank you very much for,today's webinar on how to use quantity,brakes to set up and manage those sites,that have a scaling pricing model what I,mean by that is the more you buy the,more you save the more money off each,product you get so I'm going to walk,through a process that we have for,updating specific variants of different,quantity brakes so the way that we do,this and this is targeted for a very,specific audience so if you have,questions and you don't understand after,this video please feel free to call,liquid retailer for a consultation,our numbers nine five four three six one,five two eight four and if you're,joining us today that you're part of one,of liquids internal projects then,hopefully this video helps so the way,that we have a process set up for what,we need to update products is I'm going,to go over here to my email and see from,Tony Masana who's an e-commerce,administrator for liquid that he's,updated following products within the,system and what that means is Tony's,added these products to the back end of,the site so these are now in the site,but they don't have the quantity brakes,assigned to them at this point so in,order to do that I'm going to go back,into the administration section and go,to the apps section I'm going to click,on quantity brakes,and that's going to load the back end of,the quantity Briggs AK now for the,products for this specific customer we,have quantity break groups setup so I'm,going to click on the quantity break,groups and what I'm going to do is I'm,going to go down and I'm going to make,an edit to the mail meals so I'm going,to go to the mail meals and I'm going to,click Edit and what this is going to do,is bring up the back end of the system,that's all configured to do the quantity,breaks for the mail meals that are on,the site and I'm going to make a change,to that so the first thing I need to do,is I need to select new products that,I'm going to apply the quantity breaks,to the new products that Tony's just,added to the site now click select,products and now initially what this is,going to bring up and I'm going to let,it load here for a second is all the,products that already have the quantity,breaks assignment on so I have to give,this just a minute to load,there we go so here's all the mail meals,that have the quantity breaks assigned,to that but this is in groups the way,that we need it to because we need it,grouped by the type of product Marian so,I'm going to go over here and I'm going,to click on this check mark,so that it does not give me the results,with all the variants grouped together,and I'm going to click search again and,this is going to give me the results of,everything that's in the catalog and,it'll have a checkmark next to those,that already have the quantity brakes,assigned to them and I'll have the,opportunity to add those that don't so,you'll see here that there's a few new,products and then I go over to what Tony,has Tony said 95 chicken fingers up so,I'm go

hello and welcome to another webcast,brought to you by nerd enterprises,incorporated and yours truly Seth David,and I've got another special webcast,planner for you for today today we're,going to do an excel webcast because we,did QuickBooks last week so now I'm,going to try and switch off a little bit,between QuickBooks and Excel and I want,to do something very special for you in,Excel we're going to talk about the,vlookup formula and we're going to talk,specifically about how to use it in,order to calculate price breaks so let's,say I have a company that I'm selling,products and I can't offer different,pricing to different customers the only,way I can do that is to justify it by,offering a quantity price discount so if,I have to set that same structure in,place for every customer and I have to,say if you order more than 100 of these,the price goes down to this and if you,order more than 500 it goes down to this,if you order more than a thousand it,goes down to this and at some point it's,anything over this quantity gets this,price and that's pretty much how I have,to structure it and Excel provides us,with the great way to be able to set up,the price break structure and then write,the formula that looks up based on the,quantity somebody has ordered it'll look,up the price and calculate the total for,you and it's wonderful and it makes,everything just perfect especially,during this 2009 holiday season so with,that said I'm going to bring you over,into my sharing screen and we're going,to share and care and it's just going to,be wonderful the most wonderful time of,the year I'm going to share my computer,screen with you I'll even go as far as,to share my desktop and over here is our,template and here's the way it works,I've already laid it out but of course,I'm going to show you how to create it,because it wouldn't be much good for me,to just show you hey and here's look,what I can do okay not great so what I,have here just to show you we're going,to kind of work backwards here's the end,result what I want to do is I want to,lay out my quantity price ranges so I,have between 1 and 99 units the unit,price is 11 95,let me widen this for a minute let me,just widen up all these columns,then between 100 and 500 basically is,1095 the actual breakpoint is the,beginning of that range and the,breakpoint is what's used in the formula,this is really just for on-screen for,visual purposes but what I had to do is,I had it laid out like this first so I,could visually see what are my break,points the break point is the beginning,of the range now I could write a formula,that takes the first three digits of,these but it won't always work because,then what happens when you get to a,thousand or what happens in the,beginning range so it's easier just to,lay it out like this and of course we,could expand upon this if you wanted if,your situation calls for a different,price break structure you can expand,upon this I'll show you how to set that,up in just a minute but

foreign,Ty breaks are a type of custom pricing,where discounts are given to customers,based on the quantity of a material item,purchased,this is particularly useful when,customers make bulk purchases,in this module learn how to add quantity,breaks to materials,head to global settings and select,materials,expand a material item by clicking on it,and the custom pricing button should,appear,this screen will pop up and you will be,able to see the different pricing levels,that you set up earlier,let's just focus on the standard price,Row for now,under the OnePlus column you can see,that the standard price is 225.49,this is the unit charge that you set up,in the material item information,the OnePlus represents the fact that,when a customer buys one pack of silver,brazing sticks they will pay this,standard price,now let's look at quantity break,discounts,click on new quantity break and enter a,number,I've put in five meaning that when a,customer buys five or more packs of the,silver brazing sticks They will receive,the discount price shown under this,column,you can add further quantity breaks for,example if I add 10 here this means that,we've now got three levels of quantity,breaks,customers will pay,225.49 per unit if they buy one,two hundred and fifteen dollars and 49,cents per unit if they buy between five,and nine,and,205.49 per unit if they buy 10 or more,quantity break discounts can also be,used in combination with pricing level,discounts,so you might end up with a pricing,structure that looks something like this,now let's go into the sales and,purchases tab to see the quantity breaks,in action,select new sale,and add the silver brazing sticks that,we've applied the quantity breaks to,here you can see that when we enter a,quantity of five the unit price changes,from 2 to 5.49 to 215.49,in summary,quantity breaks or discounts given to,customers when they make bulk purchases,they can be used in combination with,pricing level discounts and are set up,separately for each material item

hello in this tutorial i'll explain how,to calculate profit,contribution margin and break-even,points,these calculations are important for,running a business,and are taught in the principles of,marketing course,let's start with profit an easy formula,for profit,is total revenue minus total cost,on the surface this looks simple but,what is total revenue and how do you,calculate total cost,so we need to look at these two terms a,little more closely,let's start with total revenue this is,calculated by taking price,times the quantity sold let's say we,sell our product,at a unit price of twenty dollars let's,use p,for price so p is equal to,twenty dollars and let's say we sell,five hundred thousand units so q,quantity sold is five hundred thousand,to calculate total revenue we multiply,p price times q quantity,so twenty times five hundred thousand,is a total revenue of ten million,dollars,so far so good but total revenue,is not profit profit is total revenue,minus total costs,we have to subtract our total cost to,get our profit,so that brings us to total cost how do,we calculate total cost,total cost is made up of fixed cost plus,variable cost,so total cost is fixed cost let's use fc,for fixed costs plus variable cost per,unit,let's use uvc for unit variable cost,that is the cost that varies per unit,produced,so to be clear fixed costs are the costs,associated with doing business,before you even produce one unit of,product,it could be rent utilities taxes,insurance machinery any costs associated,with doing business,variable costs vary according to how,many units are produced,this can include materials to make the,product direct labor costs,and other resources needed for each item,produced,now that we've defined total revenue and,total cost,we're ready to calculate profit remember,we define profit as total revenue,minus total cost and remember the total,revenue,is price times quantity sold,and total cost is fixed cost plus,variable cost,to get variable costs we need to,multiply the unit variable cost,by the quantity sold this will give us,our total,variable cost so profit therefore,is p times q price times quantity,which is total revenue minus fixed cost,plus variable costs keeping in mind that,variable cost,is the unit variable cost times q,the quantity sold let's see how this,would work using an example,say fixed costs are forty thousand,dollars,and unit variable cost uvc,is ten dollars per unit produced the,selling price,p of each unit is twenty dollars now,suppose we sell five hundred thousand,units,that's q the quantity sold how do we,calculate profit,to begin let's calculate total revenue,total revenue is p times q,the selling price times the quantity,sold,so total revenue for this example is 10,million dollars,now for total cost total cost is fixed,cost,plus variable cost,so that is forty thousand dollars plus,unit variable cost times quantity sold,that would be forty thousand plus the,unit variable cost,is ten dollars each times the quantity,so
