Smart Menu Walkthrough - Add menu to store

after creating your menu and smart menu,you can choose a current menu on your,store to be replaced with smart menu,there are two ways to do it select from,shopify navigation,or use css selector the first method is,for those who want to quickly apply,theme style,in this way the style of the menu at top,menu for example,font sub menu width menu bar height menu,bar background,is based on your theme however,this could be a disadvantage because you,cannot customize the font and menu bar,including color height alignment or,padding,choose the second method css selector if,you want more controls of the menu,smart menu will replace the whole menu,including the menu bar,top menu and all sub-menu items on the,one hand,this will give you full freedom to,customize font the menu bar,including color height align padding and,enable submenu full width,on the other hand this method requires,you to find the right css selector,it can override some icons of your,original menu and you might need to,restyle so that it fits your store,perfectly,let's discover the first way select from,shopify navigation go to step 2,add a design tab in the add menu to,store section,choose the select from shopify,navigation option,select a menu from your theme to replace,it with smart menu,on desktop and on mobile,the list of menus to be replaced is,taken from the shopify navigation list,smart menu can only replace one of these,parent menus,such as this main menu it cannot replace,a menu item,such as home or men,so you'll need to create your whole main,menu in smart menu including all menu,items,and replace your current main menu with,smart menu,then select the mobile menu that you,want to replace with smart menu,if you want to only show smart menu on,desktop and keep your original menu on,mobile,leave this field blank,and select the menu orientation bases on,your original menu,not all themes support vertical menus so,please check out our list of compatible,themes that can be found in our,description box below for more details,in case you have selected your menu to,replace but smart menu doesn't show up,or,shows incorrectly you should try the,second method for this method,please watch the video in the portal to,understand how to find your css selector,if either of this method works please,read rkb,why didn't my smart menu show up to find,the solution,or just contact us so that we can help,you,also shopify always loads your website,first,and then apps that's why sometimes,you'll see your old menu still appears,before smart menu,if you want to hide your old navigation,please go to the tips page and click,this button,this feature supports most of shopify's,official themes,but in case it does not work on your,theme please read our kb to know how to,manually hide your old menu,or contact us for help thank you for,watching

Smart Menu Full Tutorial: How to build your Shopify store's menu in 10 minutes

welcome to smart menu,you can easily create a clearer and more,professional menu to replace your,store's default menu,let's begin creating your menu click on,the add a new menu button on the left,panel,or new menu on the right preview there,are two methods to build your menu,you can start from scratch by choosing,blank and simple tab,a new top menu level 0 will appear,you will have to configure basic,settings of top menu first,hover the mouse over the top menu item,in the right preview or in the left,panel,then click on the pencil button to edit,choose the item layout such as text,text an icon and search bar then edit,the title of the top menu,next scroll down to select menu type,fly out menu also known as tree menu,will be displayed as a normal drop down,menu,expanding as users hovers or clicks on,each item,mega menu shows all visible options at,once split into sections,and with tabs menu you can separate your,sub menus and tabs in which you can add,your items,based on your selected type you will,have to adjust width,height direction or position of your,menu,you can leave other settings later,you can also choose a ready-made,template from our library,navigate through simple mega menu and,tabs menu to select one,the template can be used as a base to,develop your menu,mouse over the top menu and click on,pencil icon to change its settings,however we don't recommend you to change,submenu type in this method,because it will overwrite the layout of,your chosen template after adding a root,item,you will need to add sub-items of it the,left panel shows the hierarchy of all,menu items,click the drop-down button next to each,menu item bar to see related sub-menus,the structure will match with the right,preview so you can see what your menu,will look like,use left panel or right preview to add,menu item,you'll have a new sub menu item,to save time you can mouse over an item,and select duplicate icon,or you can add sub menus in bulk by,choosing add multiple,use plus button to add more items,and minus to delete it,then input title and link for each,element,once you've finished click on the add,multiple button,these sub menus will be on the same,level,you can create a multi-level menu by,hovering your mouse over your selected,menu bar and left panel,click on add sub menu icon to create a,sub menu underneath it,just name your sub menu and work on,further settings at next step,to delete an item find the delete icon,next to the add sub menu icon,and click delete if you want to,rearrange items,you can mouse over the six dots icon at,the left side,drag and drop the item to the new,position,you can only swap items in the same,level with each other on right preview,for left sidebar you can drag item to,other level,except top,to edit submenus click on edit icon,smart menu provides a wide range of menu,type from basic types like text link,products,to advanced types such as image swap,and contact form,you need to input title and set the,column width,note a menu contai

Adding or Editing Products on Shopify (FLEX THEME)

all right guys so,right now i'm just going to show you how,to go ahead,and add a product to your shopify,website,so basically when you log in to,your shopify you will come to,this page which is basically your,homepage um if you,select products it will take you to this,page where you'll see,pretty much like all your inventory you,can also filter your products by,name as well here or product vendor,availability etc,you can even sort it i think for most,popular,too so there you go so you can see your,low inventory your high inventory,um your old newest etc,so that this is basically that screen,where you can view all of your inventory,on your back end which also gets shown,on the front end of the website so,there's a couple of ways that you can,add,a product but for smaller inventories,which is what we're doing today i'm just,going to show you how to,add it without importing a csv file,so we'll just go ahead and add a product,simple product,um so pretty much here,what you'll do is you'll add your title,so whatever that may be,you might just say i don't know it's,just for the sake of,putting something there um would you say,that's the helmet,you'll add your description which,generally typically looks like this so,i'll show you guys what it will look,like,so for example let's just go to eraser,top,um not gonna let you click on it for,some weird reason,so let's go to shop here this might just,be a bit easier to actually go,into it there we go,okay so um the description will have,everything that you see in this section,right so underneath the pricing is what,you will see,so fi approved and sfi,foundation is actually an image so in,order to add that,you'll need to save it i'm just going to,save it to my pictures,and save image pictures there we go,um and then that is just a whole bunch,of text so say for instance we wanted to,add this,we just copy and go ahead and paste it,and to add an image we'll just insert,image it actually should be in here too,but i'm not entirely sure,let's just have a look we might have,already uploaded,that little yes we have okay so we just,insert that one,and then we'll insert the other one too,so just scrolling through now,then you insert that image and there you,have it,um media is what you see here,so the first one will actually show a,bit larger,which is this one which is the one that,gets mainly shown then you can add your,variations,uh pretty much you can add that there,it's pretty self-explanatory,your price so comparing that price is,like a sale,price so if you um for example you know,it's i don't know something's 50,and then you want to mark it down to 25,half price um,so that's just what that does so even,here you,you'll see what it means um cost per,item so,if you guys want to figure out your,margin and your profit that's where you,add that in here,uh and,for inventory look you don't really need,a,sku or a barcode for anything,that's is a very small inventory i,like you can add it if you want to for,example if you ha
