How To Add a Related Products Block to Your Product Page Without Apps - Shopify Dawn Theme
what's up guys today i've got a highly, requested video ever since i actually, showed this site in a previous video, and um people noticed this other options, feature people have been asking me for a,tutorial on how to build this feature so,today we're going to do that this is,that tutorial and this feature is what i,like to call a related products block, what do i mean by a block well it goes, inside of the product information, section so that's everything to the, right of your main product image, these are your blocks we can click add, block and as you can see i have a custom, one with a lightning bolt, called related products okay we can add, that and well i've already added it to,this page, and as you can see i've changed the, heading to other colors and we showcase, the other colors of this bottle it's,really useful because we can drag it,around and of course these products are, connected using metal fields which i'll,also show you how to set up to link, products together using the product, reference meta field this time actually,so there's actually a couple uses for, this as i see it the most common one i,think will actually be these other, colors and this is a very common, situation when you've split your product, into separate colors instead of using, color variants and just one product this,is a valid strategy right so some stores, they want to have more products or for,seo reasons they want to have a separate, product page for each color and that's,fine the most high profile site that i,know of that does this is gymshark and,as you can see they've got almost the, same kind of thing this related products, block which links to the other products,on their site the other colors that is,but these are not actually color, swatches these are completely separate, products the second use that i see for, this is when products are simply related, then you would not have the heading, other colors you would have like related, products or,um you know complete the set,for example so this is matcha tea it's,made in a bowl and you have to whisk it,to make the drink,so we right complete the set and we,upsell, these products to our customer so i,think this is going to be a really, interesting video for you if you're,learning shopify development because i,think this is a common task that you'll,be asked to do if you want to start, freelancing or something, and you'll be using the product, reference meta field and also you'll be,creating a custom block but if you're,also a store owner or you have no coding, experience you just want to implement, this feature to your store don't worry, about it it's going to be really easy to,follow this video you don't need any, experience and you can copy and paste as,much as you want from my code you don't,actually have to follow the video as,usual in my videos you can grab all the, code from my website so go to ed.codes, and then click on tutorials and then, find this tutorial lastly before we get, started with the tutorial i also want to,let you know that i'm trying

Casio Continues to Release Flawed Products: PX-S3100 & PX-S1100
Casio Continues to Release Flawed Products: PX-S3100 & PX-S1100
welcome back to milan recording studios,my name is james pavel shakras and the, things that big companies do almost, always astounds me but almost never for, good reasons and cassio is doing one of,those type of moves right now, many of you may know and have heard of,the casio pxs 3000 and i'll give you a,basic recap later on in this video if,you're unfamiliar with these products, but as a very brief recap right now, sometime last year cassio came out with, the pxs 3000 and the pxs 1000 which were, fundamentally flawed products i made, several videos about the flaws and, things of that nature, and as of right now i think it was about, the summer of 2021 cassio announced the,um,the release of two new products a,revision of the pxs 3000 and the pxs,1000 and at first that sounds awesome, until you look under the surface and, this is where i cannot believe cassie, has done this what it appears to me and,i have very good reason to believe this,we'll look at cassio's website and the, spec sheet for these products later on,in the video it appears to me that, cassio has taken the pxs 3000 changed, the name and i think they have edited, some of the bluetooth features and the, sounds but that's it they've taken the,pxs 3000 put a slightly different name, badge on it and is re-marketing it,yeah they're now calling it the pxs 3100,and its little brother the eleven, hundred, and it's the exact same thing use the, exact same action the exact same form, factor which we'll talk about in a,second uh the exact same everything, which is insane now there's different, ways that a company can handle the, release of a bad product let's be honest, everyone no one is perfect and every, company at some point is going to,release a flawed product it just happens, but one one way to determine the, quality of a company is how they handle, the release of a bad product if a,company comes out and says hey we made a,bad product let's fix this let's make it,right it won't happen again, and it doesn't happen again that's a,good sign but if a company basically, says,so we don't care, give us money that is bad and in my,opinion that's pretty much what casio is,doing right here they've taken a flawed, product that earlier before i came out, with my videos i know it was selling, well it was, pretty revolutionary to have a fully, weighted 88 key instrument that's this, compact, and so they've taken a product that the, core idea of is very nice, and however is fundamentally flawed and, they probably know it's fundamentally, flawed i've made videos about it and, they've acknowledged the existence of,this flaw, and we'll talk about that later on the, video too and they basically said yeah,we just want to get more sales let's,rebrand it and continue on and change, nothing about it which is insane,i also have pretty good reason to,believe that casio may be marketing this, product towards apple users specifically, and if that is true, casio has missed 50,of what makes an apple user an apple, user, what makes an apple user an apple user, well obviou

NAMM 2019 - Here's what we know about Digital Pianos & related products...
hey everyone piano man Chuck here today,is January 17th 2019 that makes it,exactly one week away from NAMM 2019 in,Anaheim California,so being one week away here's what we,know about digital pianos keyboards, stage pianos that kind of stuff and, related products so we're finding out a,little bit more every single day here's,what we know so far I'm gonna go in,alphabetical order dad puts us at the, starting point with Casio they've got,two new CDP or compact digital piano, models the CDP s100 which has ten, different tones to it and the CDP s 350,which has 400 different tones or voices,or patches whatever you want to call it,they're both scaled hammer action they, both can run on double-a batteries they, both have 16 watt audio built-in amp and, speakers basically eight watts per side, and it's built for the European market,it may not be at NAMM 2019 but it will,be in the USA market but under limited, distributorship at first and from my,understanding Guitar Center will be the, only ones distributing that at first and, then it will go to other distributors, such as me okay then there is another, revolutionary product coming out to the, preview line some kind of no,revolutionary probe trivia product that,we know nothing about yet it has yet to,be revealed at them 2019 and I will be,reporting on that so watch my youtube, channel I will be going live from, time to time also as for the existing,Privia line the PX 560 which is the top,of the line slab piano or stage piano at,this point which is also my best selling, product at this point here's a quote, from Mike Martin who is the general, manager of Casio Marketing North America, one of the nanum announcements is that,we have licensed all of David Weiser's,vintage keyboard presets that were, originally created for the px 5s and are, converting them for the px 560 this is a,huge task but these will be released, shortly after damn that's another major, announcement for px 560 owners so if you,are on the fence about buying a 560,don't be it's still their top of the, line as far as I know but since we're a,week away and you're considering buying,a px 560 wait for it you'll see my,report next week, live from them okay next on the list is,DEXA Bell they have hints of a new vivo,s7 pro model as spotted in a promotional, video and what are two offerings as yet,to be revealed and no and one of their, newsletters they said stop by and we'll,have a grande time grande in quotes, might mean a new piano or a new digital, piano we have yet to see what that means, next up Korg Korg has the new chrome II,ex new sounds and calm B's with improved, piano sound about 200 megabytes more PCM,memory and they have the new Kronos S II,featuring a standard new Italian grand, piano PCM based on Italian sound feature,in the grand stage, then we have rollin rollin has a new, goal piano 88 which is pretty much the, same as their previous go piano which, was 60 some-odd keys but basically this, has 88 box shaped keys so it looks more, like a authentic piano it doesn't hav

PianoManChuck - 2018 Year In Review for Keyboards & related products!
hey everyone piano man Chuck here and, today I want to cover what I reviewed in,2018 so basically it's the Year in,Review I've reviewed a whole bunch of,keyboards and some other related, products and accessories I'm not going,to cover everything but just the main, stuff so let's start out with keyboards,in the order that I reviewed them I,started off with the korg kross - which,is an awesome multi-purpose board that, runs on batteries so you can't go wrong, with that see my review on that and, basically everything that I reviewed, that'll go over in this video the next, was the Casio CTX 700 and the CTX 5000,now these are 61-key portable keyboards, and they use a brand new chip from Casio, the AIX or acoustic intelligent, expression and they sound so good and, basically to get up CTX 700 the way it,sounds I mean if you haven't heard it,you gotta listen Joanna 475 dollars it's,just unheard of and a CTX 5000 the one, that I pretty much got for myself also, awesome but basically watch the reviews,on that because I think Casio is going,to be coming out with more boards that, use the AIX chip in the future,ma'am is just a month away so I am kind,of hoping that I'm going to see some, more 88-key full-size keyboards that, might use the new 8x sound chip alright, then I reviewed the Yamaha MX 88 which, also have some killer motif sounds to it,also a killer board and a killer price,so you might want to check into that as,well then I reviewed the Kerswell SP 6,and what's great about that is it also, has sound, from the vast sound engine really good, board big stuff big knobs everything you, can't miss anything with it it's easy to,see easy to read easy to play highly, recommended, then I went ahead and I reviewed the,Casio Privia px 560 which over the years,I've done a whole bunch of videos with, that comparisons and how to's and all, that kind of stuff but I never did a,overview or review of it until this year, that is one of my all-time favorite, boards I wound up purchasing one of,those for myself I loved it that much, really that is groundbreaking technology, and a price but you really can't afford, not to afford all right then I went, ahead and reviewed the DEXA Bell vivo s1,which is an awesome is 68k you heard, right 68 Keys portable basically it's a,piano but you can use it as a controller,or you can use it as a sound module but,it's an aluminum body it's rugged its, solid and it runs on double-a batteries,as well can't go wrong with that, check out my review on that as well then,I went ahead and I didn't have the brand, new decks Abell vivo s9 so I kind of did,a pre review of it including sounds that, are available that you can hear check, that out I'm hoping hoping to get an S 9,in here and then I can still review for,you then I reviewed the Korg d1 which is,a entry level piano that cord d1 is,amazing it has cords rh3 keyboard to it,and it feels great it's a really nice, key bed to play with but in addition to,it being an entry level piano if for, nothing else this would be the,by of the

px vs rem: what to use for font-size in your CSS
px vs rem: what to use for font-size in your CSS
If you've watched my videos building websites,
you've probably seen that I use the rem unit ,for all my font sizes. And I get asked pretty
often why I use rems instead of pixels. Well, ,there's a really good reason for this:
accessibility. What this means is that ,some users may need to make the text on a website
bigger in order to read it more easily. They can ,do this by changing their browser base font size
in their browser settings. There's a lot more to ,accessibility than font size but this is one
aspect of it that we'll be looking at today.,But before we get started, I wanted to
give a big thank you to my YouTube members! ,Specifically Paul Maximus and Salman
Hersi. If you want to support this channel, ,you can click the join button in
any video and get some cool perks.,All right, let's get into it.,All right, so I have a pretty simple website
here with an h1 tag for the headline, ,and then I have some more text
underneath in a paragraph tag. ,So let's first look at how to change
your browser's base font size. ,I'm using firefox but basically any browser
is going to have this in their settings.,so if you open the settings we can see here
that there's something saying fonts and colors. ,and it's telling us that the default font
is times new roman and it is set at size ,16. so this means 16 pixels. 16 pixels is going
to be the default font size for most browsers. ,so let's say we want to make the text
bigger so that we can read it better. ,I'm going to change the 16 to let's
say 32 so it's going to be double. ,and I've changed that and now we can see on the
website the text is much bigger. it's basically ,twice the size. so let me just change it back
to 16. and let's look in the code for this.,so in vs code I have the index.html
for that website we just saw open here. ,and we have the h1 tag and then we
have that paragraph tag underneath it ,and then the styles that are controlling
the text size are in typography.scss. ,so the h1 tag we have the font size set to 2
rems or 32 pixels for mobile and then 4 rems or ,64 pixels for desktop. so what this means is that
because of our base font size is set to default ,16 pixels that means that one rem is equal to 16
pixels. so two rems is 16 times two which is 32. ,four rems is 16 times four which is 64. so we can
see this in action. so if we inspect the headline ,we have that selected and we can see
the h1 has a font size set to 4 rems. ,now if we go to the computed tab it's telling
us that the final font size in pixels is 64 ,pixels which is exactly what we have set
in our styles. so now let's go back to our ,settings again and then once again we're going
to change the base font size in our browser to ,32. so this is doubling all of our text size. we
can see the text got a lot bigger. and now if we ,look at the h1 tag styles it's telling us that the
font size is now 128 pixels so it's 2 x 64 = 128.,so let's just go back and change this.

PMC PX-7 or GRACO GX-7A Pour Chamber Installation
PMC PX-7 or GRACO GX-7A Pour Chamber Installation
hello everybody how we doing I hope, everybody's having a great day but uh,just wanted to cover a few things on the,the px7 and also that would also cover, the gray code gx7,a model this is going to be primarily, focused toward those that are into the, concrete lifting with these poor guns,so again PMC px7 and then we also it,also covers the same for the gray code,gx7,a series gun so proper way on removing, the chamber or module whichever, preferred word that you use is to take, our safety stop button on the back of,the gun we want to put it to the spray, position because I won't full full, rearward travel of the valving run some,we're just going to depress the trigger,so I have the gun connected to air to,press the trigger and then we're going,to remove our chamber or module, retaining nut that's what I call it and,we're going to remove it and then we're,gonna lay it right off to the side and, then when I release my trigger my,valving rod is going to push all the way, forward, thus my chamber or module again, whichever word that you want to call it,comes all the way out of the fluid, housing then we'll just simply slip that, off of the valving rod and we will, service it and when we look at this if,we look at the typical spray chambers, this one here is different as it has the, front purge rod seal and it takes, something so I can point we have the, front purge rod seal is actually made or,molded onto the chamber itself so this,is all one one piece where then if we,was doing spray operate, then we would have two pieces here we,would have the chamber and then we would, have the front purge rod seal so with, this being one piece now it has happened, several times I've done a few tech calls, related to this issue of the user's,installing the chamber or module into, the fluid housing backwards and to the, beginner you might think that the small, lean or the skinny in would go into the, fluid housing first and then the lord, ziun or the fat end would be what your, chamber retaining nut would then seal to,and that is wrong this skinny in should,be sticking out or protruding out of the, front area of the the fluid housing so,that it connects and seals up to this, retaining nut like so so one of the, problems is you can depress the trigger, and you can't install this chamber or,module into the fluid housing backwards, and you can get this on to the fluid, house and get it sealed up what happens, though when the user does put the, chamber in backwards and you pressurize, the unit when you pull the trigger, you'll only get one chemical out of the,gun as one of the impeachment ports will,be sealed off by installed and, installing it in backwards so we want to,make sure that we installed the chamber, into the gun like so we want to take our,gun we want to press the trigger so we,have full rearward movement movement of,the valving rod insert the fat end into, the fluid housing we'll take our, retaining nut and then we're going to,thread it on,like so maintaining the trigger pull and, then we'll tighten t

More PX and Commissary privileges for veterans
More PX and Commissary privileges for veterans
what's up friends welcome to another new, style type of video so I guess news, specifically for veterans out there, either army or even Marines it really, doesn't matter the branch of service, says this applies military wide now like,I said it is mainly for veterans but, this may still you know be beneficial to,those of you there may be interested in,joining the army or currently in the, army to kind of give you a heads up of,some cool changes that are happening now,the changes that are happening in this, news actually came out in July I'm only, just now seeing it maybe some of you, have already seen this information but,it affects who is allowed to use the, commissary and the PX so first of all,you should probably know who is allowed,to use the commissary and the PX if,you're not currently military or veteran,so individuals that are currently in the, military are allowed to we have veterans, that are retired we have veterans that, are Medal of Honor recipients you have, veterans that have received a hundred, percent disability from the VA so that, means individuals that may be only, served you know five years ten years, whatever they got out no longer have, access to like the commissary or the PX,now with the exception of individuals, that are still on like at RRR so if,you're you know did four years in the,Army you have a commitment eight so then, you have four years of the IRR the, inactive reserves then you still have, like a little ID card for the inactive, reserves and you're still out use the, commissary and the PX for that but for, someone like me who only did ten years,in the Army well not only ten years but,did ten years in the army they guess got,out I was outside that eight year window, but didn't retire anything like that so,I don't get you know commissary, privileges or PX privileges but now that,is what has changed in effective January,1st 2020 other individuals will be able,to access the PX and the commissary with, some more stipulations to that the, stipulations are if you are a veteran, received a Purple Heart you will be,eligible to be able to use the, commissary or PX veterans who have a,disability rating of 0 to 90% and, individuals that are like caregivers for,a veteran now before this went into, effect actually veterans were allowed to,use the P X's website online to make, purchases and have them shipped to their, homes but they couldn't actually go into,a physical px on-base also probably to,note for those of you that maybe aren't,familiar with the VA system the ninety,to a hundred percent there's not like an,in between like a 95 or 93 and you're,thinking oh man this sucks if I got 90,five percent that I'm not you know high, enough for a hundred percent but I'm not, ninety percent of so I'm going to use,the P X's that mean no it goes in,increments of ten now with the, qualifying factor of zero to ninety, percent for a VA rating if a soldiers, just simply goes to the VA when they get,out of the Army submits their claims, missed their medical records there's a,very g
