what's up everyone welcome back Dr,Maxfield,Dr Shaw welcome back to our Channel Dr,Lee where we talked about all things, skin care and dermatology this video is,so hard to do we're gonna try to talk, about what our favorite products of 2022,are and this is getting harder and, harder because the products keep getting, better and better yeah I don't know if,these are all new releases this year but, these are some of our favorite products, that we've been using throughout the, year and he said Dr Shaw said let's do,five products like holy crap five that's,so concise but I think we pretty much, hit the mark on it so we'll take a look, yeah and so these are products that,we've just personally been using and, loving and there are a lot of other, products we can make a list of 100 pages, long of our favorite products because, there are so many Products that come out,now we used to be very critical because,I do think like three years ago what was, available on the skin care Market that, was really truly good and had good, ingredients and safe ingredients it's,not as much as what's available today, and so now it's harder and harder to be,negative so the good thing is that we,have better products out there so we'll,just run through this list of our, favorites it's not even all of our, empties there are just so many products, that are wonderful we'll jump into this,so our favorite products of the Year, here we go here we go,so best products of the year this would, not be doctorally if we did not start, with retinol there have been okay well, first I guess I should say what does, retinol do for your skin it does, everything okay we're done so there are, there have been amazing retinol products, this year I actually went on a kick, about two months ago where I think I,tried to probably about five or six, retinols there's some awesome retinol, products now this one was a late edition,in the year and it's quality it feels, good but we both agree that this is an,excellent option right so a lot of good, retinol options out there if you have, one you already love you don't need to,go out and buy a new one that being said, this product really stood out to us this,is the biosons squalling and retinol, night serum okay first of all beautiful, packaging I mean always from biosons but, just the feel it's a glass packaging, just beautiful overall you love to see,it on your skincare counter yeah it's an,upgrade so they had a phyto retinol, which is a great product in of itself it,featured bakuch y'all it didn't actually, have any retinol in it um and then this,in my opinion it's kind of like the big, brother like the packaging is nicer it's,heavier it has retinol and it also has, retinol in it I believe this also has, turmeric in it isn't that good with the, yellow issue here but no it's the, retinol that's going oh yeah so so the, thing about this product that makes it,interesting is that you know if you, watch any of our videos on retinol right, retinol is one they're all retinoids, they're all under that umbrella ret

Strangest wish.com Products REVIEWED
have you ever been shopping online and, come across products that look too weird,to be real you almost want to purchase, them just to see what the heck they are, well put your wallet away because i've,already bought them for you yep i've,been trawling through wish.com the, online marketplace where you can buy, just about anything for next to nothing, and i mean anything so i've bought the, weirdest craziest and most insane, products i could find just to review, them for your viewing pleasure now sit, back and relax as we take a look at some,of the stupidest stuff i've bought in my,entire life my credit card company is,going to have so many questions, inept egg topper,i love a boiled egg and toast soldiers a,classic breakfast food now most normal, people just slice the top off the egg, with a knife or spoon but wish offers a,dedicated seven dollar utensil for this, task an eggshell topper apparently all,you need to do is repeatedly beat the, bead on top of the egg and you'll be,able to easily get to your egg through a,perfectly circular opening well i like, the neatness promised here so i bought, one to try it out there weren't any, additional instructions on the packaging,so i boiled up some eggs put one in my,novelty egg cup and beat the bead, okay well it did take a sort of circular, section off the top but it also, shattered the rest of the shell turning,my meal into a mess i tried using it on,a few more boiled eggs with different, levels of force but none of them gave me,that satisfying circular top so i,figured i should try it on a raw egg, like they do in the photos that must be,where i'm going wrong right here we go,oh damn it well i did get the circular, top but it's now somewhere inside the, rest of the egg great maybe i beat the, bead a little too hard either way this,is way more hassle than just cracking, the egg open or using a knife verdict, messy and unnecessary, terrible toilet cover, are you an enemy of interior design then, clearly you need this three-piece lace, toilet seat cover in your life for just,25 dollars aside from looking hideous, and weirdly unhygienic it comes in a,range of colors so obviously i got it in,the worst color possible for the, bathroom brown, now as bad as it looks this thing, smelled even worse for some reason it,stank of cigarette smoke but it'd take, more than that to stop me reviewing it,so the piece that fits over the toilet, cistern was easy enough to slip on as,was the cloth over the lid but what, surprised me was that the part that goes, over the rim of the toilet is zipped on,so careful not to accidentally dip one, half of the cover into the water i was, able to zip this foul smelling and, looking thing onto my toilet and, voila, now my toilet looks as vile as the stuff, that usually goes in it verdict pretty, but without the pretty, funny fish slippers, have you ever looked down and gone wow i,wish my feet were 100,uglier then maybe wishes 16 fish, slippers are the answer to your problem,i can't for any reason think of what, practical purpose th

How to build a billion dollar product | Michael Casey | TEDxFlowerMound
How to build a billion dollar product | Michael Casey | TEDxFlowerMound
I've created some of the worst products, that have ever been, retail products that are so bad very few, people ever bottom or got a chance to,use them except for my brother and, sister who are lucky enough to get them, for Christmas about every year but, somehow I was lucky enough to go from, creating the worst products to some of,the best products of all time products, that have held sales records at stores, like Target and Walmart at global, shopping channels like the Home Shopping,Network in QVC some products that even, made it to number one on Amazon Prime, once I was parodied on Saturday Night,Live with one of my products and I even, was afforded my own NASCAR with one of,them but how did I go from almost no,sales to over three billion in sales at,121 countries was it luck, probably divine intervention I believe,it was could it have been my hundred and, twenty five design trips to China that's,two hundred and fifty times over the,North Pole so many times my daughter was, convinced I was in cahoots with Santa,Claus this is obviously some flip phone, photo about 4:00 a.m. with only eight, and a half hours ago I'm sure wine was, involved in the making of this of this, picture for those either traveling or,nationally I'm sure you understand, the pain here but the reason I'm here is,because so many people come up to me and,say they have ideas and I know that, probably at some point in our lifetime,we're all going to say you know why, didn't I think of that or the more, painful I did think of that and somebody, else developed it so I want you to take, away from today is I want you to be,empowered and I want you to feel, confident that the next time you have an,idea you'll know what to do with it the, head of the US Patent and Trademark,Office in 1889 famously stated, everything that will be invented has, been invented think about that this is,an 1889,everything that will be invented had, been been invented and he said this, while sitting in the dark without his,iPhone, fortunately for all of us here in 8,million patents later he couldn't have, been more wrong so I filed a lot of,those patents but they were all failing, and I was getting really really, frustrated and tired of failing so I,decided one day to go to the graveyard,of my dead products which is a rather, large room in my house bigger than I,want it to be and I thought well let me,look at my products that have failed and,see if they could talk to me and tell me,what I'm doing wrong and interestingly, enough I went and looked at major, corporations products billion-dollar,companies that had millions and millions,of dollars in marketing that have failed, miserably just like I did and what I,found is that we had a lot of,similarities and that that inspired me I,thought if I could fill with these guys,in the same manner then I'm an equal, with them I could succeed with them and, trust me you can too but what I want to,do is show you some of the products for,big companies that have failed and see,if you can see the pattern because if,

Michael Seibel - Building Product
Michael Seibel - Building Product
without any further delay I will, introduce to you Michael Seibel the CEO,of Y Combinator the founder of companies, like justin.tv and twitch and Socialcam,to begin what is going to be a deep dive, into product over the next several, lectures,Michael so before I begin its kind of,had a conversation with Jeff and I and I,wanted to say a couple of things about,my experience at justin.tv and and, twitch so what I will say is that we,broke many if not all of the rules that, are about to tell you at various points, during our company the things that, allowed us to survive were one our, founding team was extremely technical,Justin Emmett and Kyle all were amazing,to work with and basically what I found, amazing about them is they were not, intimidated by any technical challenge I,think that I would not be standing here,if I wasn't,privileged to work with them and so I,think this is something that a lot of,companies a lot of startups a lot of,sort of founders don't truly understand, like that fact allowed us to break a lot,of rules the second is we didn't spend a,lot of money we moved out when we were,21 22 22 and 23 we lived in a,two-bedroom apartment that apartment, cost $2,500 a month we were each given,$500 a month walking around money which, technically is against the law because,it was below minimum wage but who cares, about laws and that was it that that was,the game,Emmett got his own bedroom Kyle and,Justin slept in bunk beds I slept in the, living room and sometimes on the balcony,we just didn't spend, much money that gave us a lot of ability,to screw up and make mistakes and then I,say the last thing that was kind of,interesting I only realized later is,that our ego was highly tied to our, startup we were not doing a startup to,have a cool resume item it was really, the only thing we had done on our own,and so I think at various points during, the company when it looked like we would, fail basically our startup failing was,our life failing right it was like well, this is the only thing you've done so,far and so if it fails you get F on life, and I think that we all had that feeling, very internally and therefore we just, couldn't really conceive of giving up so,I think more than anything I want to say,in the rest is presentation those were, the three things that saved our company, made our company work and strangely I,don't even think if you take one of,those things away any one of them we,would have died so this isn't one of,those things where it's like oh you can, grab for one or two and that's pretty, good we needed all three or else game, over so as I get into product I'm gonna, tell stories from justin.tv from really, early days at which when I was still, there and then also from a YC company, from a couple batches ago named poppy,it's a company that I've advised since,so invested in did YC great founder name, off knee and weirdly I just feel like I,needed to do a case study outside of my,own story somehow it's gonna help share, these lessons a little better so I,always li

What do I do as a Product Manager?
What do I do as a Product Manager?
hey yo it's khloe recently i have been, doing a lot of,talks with college students from all, over the nation, and one of the most common questions i,get is hey chloe,i am interested in being a product, manager but what is it that you even do,the product manager role is definitely, one of those really, buzzy and cool jobs to try to go after,it is highly sought after,it is well paid and it is very, respectable in the world of tech,so today i am here to tell you what it,is that i do on a day to day as a,product manager,so let's get started, welcome to my channel colors of chloe i,am a product manager and i work in the, creator space,i have built features for many years now,and i have worked at boeing, google caffeine facebook and now at tick, tock,so now that's out of the way let's talk, about what a product manager does the,one thing that we do really is that we,launch features to make our users happy, our role is really at the intersection,of user experience, tech and business we are really involved,in crafting the look and feel of the, experience,we have to understand what are the, technical costs and what the tech debt,is,to help us prioritize what features to,work on and then we have to be very very,in tune with the roi is for the business, whether that's in revenue or user growth,or safety or pr,we have to know how it benefits us as a,business, though i really like to think about, product the way that todd jackson who's,a vp of product at dropbox has put it,pms are responsible for number one, articulating what a winning product, looks like, number two rallying the entire,cross-functional team to build it which,is a really, hard process and number three iterating, until we get it right so how it starts, off is like we really have to understand, how product is broken down into features, and experiences, like you're not just a product manager,of google you're not the product manager,of airbnb, you are staffed on a specific product, team that owns a very particular product, experience i couldn't quite understand, this concept for a really long time, until i started to understand how org, charts are created oftentimes companies, will separate different types of product, teams based on like different user, experiences,or maybe the different buttons that, exist on your platform,or maybe a combination of both so if,we're separating teams on,different user experiences people can be,staffed on product teams, that own the creator experience or user, growth,or ads and monetization or the creator, insights team,or even the viewer experience team if,you think about it from a buttons, perspective there's pretty much a,product team for every like cluster of,buttons that exist, like there's a team for the share button, the go live button, the notifications that pop up the admin, settings panel, the feed team the event creation flow if,there's any features that you roll out,as a pm that impacts other teams which, often times it does, you have to make sure that every team is,okay with what you're launching, bec

Life of a Product Manager at PayPal ft. Shashiprabha Gupta, Vedica Scholar
come Shashi like I absolutely am,grateful to you because product, management is a buzzword, but not everybody knows how to get there, what's the road map what are the skills, like concept courses can I say there's,so much that they want to ask in fact I,had shared the list of questions with, you that were posted in community that, were posted in insta stories they have,so many questions and I just hope is all,of them get resolved so thank you so,much for coming on to the channel, thank you shweta for inviting me here, and more than happy to be here I think, and I completely resonate with the, questions first of all because a few, years ago when I was starting out my,journey of transitioning from an,existing career path into plot, management I think I faced all of these, questions yeah so to be able to really,um think back and look into my journey,be able to pick out some of those, highlights and share it with everybody,uh more than happy to do that glad to be,here thank you so much no I absolutely, wanted to pinpoint this part as well, okay you transition first of all from, engineering so this is also me telling, shashi's background a little bit so that, everybody gets to know a little bit, about her journey and then accordingly,we'll move forward so it was very, interesting to see that you started off, with engineering and if I'm not wrong in,2012 you graduated, you had three years of work X and that, took varied workings you started off, with sales first US moved on to business, analyst position did your MBA from, vedica Scholars and we'll talk about, vedica Scholars as well because of,course that's a major major position and,a major major part of your journey, you move down to product management, roles and currently you are working as a,product manager at PayPal so how did, this mind shift really happened this, entire transition from engineering and, then to sales and then to business, analysts then MBA and then to product, management,so you know when I'm hearing you say, this aloud this sounds like a scripted,Journey but trust me it was nothing like,it I think this was uh for me Discovery,as it went on but more importantly I,think it was about pushing myself to do,different things first of all I think, early in your careers you do not have as,much liability in terms of being fixed, into one career path that's where like, you know when you graduate and you put, yourself out in the job market that's,when you have the opportunity to be able,to experiment with different skill sets,go and try and dip your fingers in,different profiles to be able to,actually see what you enjoy the most so,I think it began like that for me,um and I remember I had a campus, placement offer but I was very keen to,go and work in a startup this is like, almost more than a decade ago when, startups were not that pull a thing to,you know work at more than a decade ago, actually so for me to do that was a,little bit of unconventional thing in my,own pure group but I did that because, you know I was really fascinated

Complete Beginner's Guide to Amazon Product Research 2023
Complete Beginner's Guide to Amazon Product Research 2023
The most important step to
becoming an Amazon seller is understanding, what types of products you should sell
and which ones you should avoid.,Not being able to find
a good product is often the main reason, why most people tell us
that they haven't started selling yet.,It's a real problem and it can leave you
in a state called analysis paralysis.,So how do you finally push through
and find a product that checks off,all of the boxes?,The key is to look for products
that meet most of,or ideally all six of these factors.,When we launched our product last year,
it met, every single one of these
except for low competition.,Now we're going to come back to this
in just a second.,But first is very important to understand
that the need to hit,all six of these factors
will depend on two things.,Number one is your experience
and your business model.,First off, your experience.,If you're a complete beginner, I'd
strongly recommend sticking with this list, and making sure your product idea hits
all six factors.,Then on your second product,
you can come back and experiment, with medium or even high competition
categories, just like we did.,And second, the business model
that you choose will also determine, how many of the six factors
you should aim for.,On Amazon, there's four
main business models to consider.,The first one is called wholesale.,This is when you buy products in bulk
directly from larger known brands, and then use the current Amazon
listing to resell your inventory.,The second one is called arbitrage.,This can be done either
in-store or online,,and it's when you buy discounted products
through retailers,to resell on Amazon.,Dropshipping is the third business model.,This is when you buy products, directly from an online supplier
and when a customer places an order, that supplier fulfills and ships
the order on your behalf.,This last one here is called
Private Label.,It's by far the best and most popular
business model because unlike the other, three, you're actually building a real
brand that nobody can take away from you.,And because you own 100% of it,
you could one day even sell, the entire business for thousands
or even millions of dollars.,This is why we chose this business model
to launch our product,,and it's the one that we're going
to show you how to do in this video.,The easiest way to explain
private label is this.,Put simply, it's when you take a generic
product and place your own brand on it.,Then by using a service called FBA
or Fulfilled by Amazon,,all we have to do is have your supplier
ship your product to Amazon's warehouses, and then they're going to take care
of all the fulfillment for you.,This means you don't even need
to touch your own inventory,so you can literally run, this entire business from home
or really anywhere in the world.,Now, one question
that we got asked in our last video, was, Can you sell in a country
that you don't live in?,The answer is yes.,You do not need to have a physical address
or even live in the country, that yo

5 things you NEED for Product Videos!
5 things you NEED for Product Videos!
as video makers there are a lot of,things that we will use to get the shot, tripods sliders even cameras these are,the obvious tools that we have come to,know and love for pretty much any kind,of video but what about the less obvious, stuff the things that don't get talked, about quite as much but are still very, useful well today I want to show you a,few of those things starting things off, with this right here this is the aputure,Mt Pro and it does literally everything,I have had other light tubes in the past, generally I never really cared for them, because I found them cheap plasticky and,the light quality wasn't all that great, but the Mt Pro is the real deal now, let's say we want to get a nice hero, shot of this drink can here as it spins, around maybe the camera is pushing in on,a slider a typical way of lighting a,shot like this would be to have a big,key light a lot of people have circular, light domes or strip light diffusers but, what's really cool about these aperture,Mt Pros is that they actually work, exceptionally well as key lighting for a,product like this so what I've got here,is one of our Mt Pros on one of the, included aperture tripods I'm going to,turn this on here and place it beside, our can like so and then I'm going to,take my other Mt Pro turn that on as,well and just have it free standing off,to the side here now lighting is,obviously one of those creative choices, where you can sort of decide where you, want to place your lights how dramatic,do you want it to look on your subject, you can move one of the lights more, behind to have a darker front or you, could bring it more in front to make the, whole can a bit brighter you can remove, one light altogether to make it look, really dramatic but for this shot I'm,going to keep both just like so on,either side giving us that nice elegant, and premium look so let's go ahead and,get our shot I'll let the Camera slide,in here as our can turns around and here,is what the shot looks like with this, simple lighting setup as you can see, this setup already gives us that Ultra,Premium look but let's go ahead and see, what it looks like if we remove one of,the lights from the shot now clearly, with only one light this is going to,look a lot more dramatic it really just, comes down to what you're are going to,prefer for your video another thing we,can do we can set this to a nice warm,Hue using the RGB settings placing this, just out of the frame a bit behind the,can and I'm just going to turn down the, strength of this light here to give us a,really dramatic look and now we can go,ahead and see what this looks like,in mind we're not using any other, lighting it's literally just these two, lights here I think it's pretty crazy, the results you can get and we are, hardly scratching the surface as to what, you can do with these moving along now,we've got one of my favorites this is,the moment cine Bloom filter 10 percent,if you've been watching my videos for a,little while you might have noticed this,on my lens for all
