DIY HIGH QUALITY Product Labels ! - Oil and Water Proof Labels VERY EASY

today I'm going to be showing you guys,how I make my water and oil proof labels,and I'm just giving you a little demo to,show you that they are still shiny don't,smudge and they are great and not to,show you guys my half used body butter,container but I just wanted to show you,that the label hasn't been like,deteriorated or anything over time so,keep watching if you want to want to see,so starting in canva I'm realizing that,you guys can't see the tiny little font,but this is a four inch by two inch,label and I designed my label and you,can design yours however you want once,I'm done creating it I'll then download,it as a PNG just because I've noticed,that it's easier to edit and stuff on,pages like I do use a Mac so it would be,word on a PC but yeah so I use Pages,once I download it I head over to pages,and then I open up a new document,obviously a blank one and then I will go,and select my download that I just,created on canva and then once you find,your file just put it in pages and it'll,be super big at first and then what I do,is I'll click on the image and I will,just edit it to make it to the correct,size so of course the label that I'm,trying to create is a four inch by two,inch label and you want to make sure,that when you change the size of the,image the size like portions are,constrained I believe the word is so,that if you edit one side it,automatically just like like corrects it,back to the right size so I know two,inches is five centimeters and pages is,in centimeters so I'll just input that,and then it like shrinks down by itself,once it's at the size that you need I'll,just copy and paste it as many times as,I can fit on a single piece of paper,and then once you're satisfied with it,save it and whatever and you're gonna,get your vinyl glossy paper and,specifically I like to use vinyl because,it's water and oil proof and I've had,zero problems with it so far like to,note that I do use an HP Officejet,printer which is an inkjet so I'll put,it in my printer I do like to do one,sheet at a time because my printer will,sometimes get jammed because it's a,little like sticky and then you'll see,that I'm just holding down the extra,pieces of paper because sometimes it,like grabs the paper that's underneath,it so you're going to print that print,whatever you guys want and I will give a,little warning I don't print the mango,papaya butter that I created on canva I,was making a bunch of labels at this,time and this is the one that I decided,to record which is my turmeric face,scrub once you are done doing all that,fun printing stuff you're going to get,your self-adhesive laminating sheets,keyword self-adhesive not thermal you're,going to need scissors a ruler and a,guillotine everything that is in this,video is all on Amazon so it shouldn't,be too hard to find you're going to peel,off that top little perforated part that,they already have for you and stick it,to the top of the paper just so that,nothing moves and then I just use the,ruler as

Ten Rules for Reading a Food Label.,It’s easier than gassing up a spaceship!,Reading a food label, with all those scary words and numbers,,is not as alien as you might think.,We’ve created some straight forward rules that every earthling can follow.,Rule 1: Food is fuel.,The body burns food to live.,Food is fuel for the body, the same way as spaceship burns gas.,As it zips in between the planets, the body burns food,as you go about your busy day.,I know it sounds silly, but to understand food labels better,,we will follow our alien friend as he gasses up his spaceship.,Rule 2: Fuel is burned.,This creates energy or calories.,The amounts of energy obtained from digesting a set amount of food,is called the Calorie.,The longer the trip through space, the more fuel or energy the spaceship needs.,In a similar way, the more active you are, the more calories you burn.,Rule 3: Know how much is in one serving.,Sorry, it’s not a gallon.,Gas is measured by the gallon but food is a little more complicated than fuel.,It comes in different shapes, sizes, and containers.,To understand how much energy the food you are eating contains,,you must first know how big the serving size is.,Thankfully, this is one of the first things the food label will list.,Serving size is typically provided in cups or ounces.,So measuring the food you plan to eat is the only way to know exactly,how many calories it contains.,Rule 4: The calories listed are per serving.,Please do not eat the entire box.,The calorie listing is important because it tells you how much energy you get,from eating one serving of food.,Think of calories per serving the same way our alien considers,how many miles he can travel with one gallon of gas.,Since one serving of food contains a set number of calories,,and the calories listed on the label are per serving,,if you have multiple servings, you have to multiply the calories on the label,by the number of servings,to know the total calories you have eaten.,For example, 232 calories times 10 servings,equals 2320 total calories eaten.,Rule 5: Know the type of fuel or calories you are burning.,There are three main ingredients in food that provide energy:,fats, carbohydrates, and proteins.,If you add all three of these ingredients together,,you can calculate the total calories.,When our alien chooses his gas, he can choose from regular or premium grade.,Both are still gas that his spaceship will use for energy,but the concentrations are different.,The same is true for food,,only there are way more than two food choices.,Rule 6: How fatty is your fuel?,Fat is the most concentrated ingredient in food.,This means that a large amount of calories are present in a small amount of fat.,When choosing foods, select those with healthy fats like fish and nuts.,But remember, a very little bit of fat burns for a long time,and contains lots of energy.,Rule 7: Sugar is too sweet for your tank.,Carbohydrates are foods that are broken down into sugar by the body.,If you are runn

hello everybody and welcome back,to another video i know it's been a,while since i have came on,to youtube even though it seems like i,haven't and that's because i had,videos pre-recorded for you guys but,i recently got my wisdom teeth removed,and so that's why if you see my mouth is,a little weird or if i'm smiling,weird or anything like that that is the,reason i had all four of them and it was,actually,actually like a pretty,not a good experience for me and i but,pretty much i had my wisdom teeth,removed i've been down i haven't been,able to do as much,as far as youtube videos or even just,anything really this is my third week,like this friday will be a month post-op,and i'm still,have like some pain in my jaw and,everything like it was crazy,so that is not what this video is about,but i did have to let you guys know just,so if i'm fumbling over words like,always or just like looking weird,that's the reason today i'm coming out,here because i have a very,special video and unboxing and hopefully,i will be demoing,this product with you guys depending on,how long it actually takes to put,together,but i actually just ordered a,new labeling machine for my bottles,so pretty much what this machine is is,instead of having to put,each individual label on this bottle,it's actually a machine that you just,put your bottle in and your labels,and you crank it and it puts the labels,on to your bottles,so everything is more so everything,looks more professional,and you know everything comes out,looking good because i'm not gonna lie,sometimes when i do these by hand you,know there can be there will be like,wrinkles or it won't be like lined up,and then when you have them like on your,shelf and everything,they're not as straight and so i really,wanted to invest back into my business,and buy something,that would help me one save time and not,having to,take so much time to be careful to,actually put the labels onto my bottles,but also because,if i'm starting to get into like private,labeling and doing things like that i do,want to have like a professional you,know like i don't want to be,putting other people's labels on their,bottle and it not look good and then,they,you know come in for me later decided to,invest in this for myself but also for,other things,for later down the road into my business,and so i thought i would share with you,guys today,and i thought that i would actually do,the unboxing and show you guys as soon,as i can clean up back here,and finish packing the rest of my orders,for royalty curls and curly queen kit,then i will be showing you guys an,unboxing of this,little labeling machine and depending,how well it turns out i also will be,able to offer this to you guys,and you know be able to for you guys so,that you guys,can also get your hands on this labeling,machine so that you guys can start,to you know create your labels and make,them look,more professional so if you do like this,video make sure that you guys,like this video and subscribe to

people ask me hey health nerd what's the,best way to start improving my health is,it through a calorie counting app,shopping at whole foods maybe joining my,local booty boot camp well actually,esteemed reader one of the best ways to,improve your health quickly is by,learning how to read nutrition labels,you may think these labels contain some,complex science and mathematical,equations but they're really not that,scary let's walk through how to properly,read these things the first thing you'll,notice is that the top of the nutrition,facts are the serving size and servings,per container this is simply the amount,in the package or container pretty,self-explanatory next you have the,ingredients everything inside these,black lines is representative of one,serving this is important to understand,because next you'll see the calories and,the calories from fat this is pretty,much the only thing most people ever,look at and this is a common mistake if,the package says 200 calories on the bag,of chips but the servings per container,say 2.5 that means there's actually 500,calories in the bag this is a clever,little marketing trick that you should,be aware of pressing on you will see the,total fat on the package along with the,number and percentage on the right hand,side the number represents the total fat,in one serving and the percentage,represents the percentage based on a two,thousand calorie diet so eight grams is,twelve percent of a two thousand calorie,diet i should also remind you that fat,is not bad for you and there are plenty,of healthy foods that are high in fat,what you really want to watch out for is,any trans fat trans fat is the kind,linked to heart disease and all sorts of,medical conditions avoid this at all,costs saturated fat should be much less,of a concern this may surprise some of,you so i will link a few studies below,that have conclusively proven that,saturated fat is fine to eat and not the,cause of many diseases it was wrongly,accused for think of saturated fat as,the middle child of the fat family he's,got a good heart but he's just a little,misunderstood now you may be thinking,wait a minute why does the total number,of saturated fat and trans fat not add,up to the total fat on the top where's,the other 7 grams well this is because,not all fats will be listed on the,nutrition label only the nutrients,deemed most important ever make it to,the nutrition labels don't worry though,the other fats not listed are generally,healthy and should be much less of a,concern pressing on you will see the,cholesterol and sodium remember these,numbers are based on one serving if the,sodium was 25 of your daily intake and,the package had 2.5 servings on it that,means the entire package contains 63 of,your daily sodium intake quite a bit,considering this is one snack onward,you'll see the carbohydrates section,carbohydrates are the breads grains,fiber and sugars in the food the first,section you'll see is for dietary fiber,having a good amount of die

DIY: How To Create Glossy Waterproof Product Labels At Home | Answering Questions

hey everyone welcome or welcome back to,my channel i am yolanda maria if this is,your first time here,so today is another entrepreneur live,video,i want to go ahead and share all the,knowledge that i have,about my business and helping other,business owners overcome,obstacles so i did a video about eight,months ago,on how i created at home,waterproof glossy labels these are like,product labels,so you guys can see i sell hair care,products,and one day i ran out of labels so i had,to run to staples,and have some printed and,these are some that i just got done and,i wanted them to be glossy like to have,a glossy cover,so i did a video again about eight,months ago it is one of my most,popular videos on my channel i have over,11 000 views on that i will go ahead and,leave that video,up in the cards above as well as the,link down in the description box if you,missed that initial video,well i wanted to go ahead i got a ton of,questions on that video,um and i got some people just a little,skeptic they feel like you know,this um product that i use to put a,gloss on it,didn't really work or they were just,skeptical about it so,um asking questions about why you know i,didn't demonstrate,sprinkling water or sprinkling oil or,anything on it,to prove that it was glossy and,waterproof,so what i wanted to do is do a follow-up,video,or like a piggyback video off of that,one,just so i can demonstrate to you guys,that,this product works it's easy it's mess,free,um it's odor free you know so it's,definitely,a product that you want to go pick up if,you are in the situation that i was in,where my labels,um were like a matte finish and you,wanted to have glossy,so the first thing i want to talk about,is the fact that,i got a lot of questions about making it,waterproof like as far as this,particular product before i show it,again,i wanted to talk about the questions,it's the actual,product making it waterproof that first,question,is i don't know what type of paper that,you guys are using,first off i use waterproof,paper okay so i mentioned that in the,video,that the paper that i'm actually using,that i got from,avery is waterproof and i'm gonna see if,it'll if i can,zoom it in if you guys can even see it,see,there it is waterproof,waterproof shipping labels this is my,hair growth,um serum labels,they're printed upside down,unfortunately but this is the waterproof,paper so i cannot say that the product,makes your paper waterproof what i am,saying is,i used waterproof paper,with the product that i purchased that,i'm using it for the purpose of,is to make it glossy okay so,that is the only reason why i'm using it,so what i'm saying is purchase,waterproof paper,or whatever paper that you're using you,can use the product on that paper and,you test it out yourself,and see if it makes it waterproof so,the next question i got was you know,they just wanted to make sure that the,ink did not smear so i did not,demonstrate that in the initial video,um i showed the end results of the

Designing a Product Label & Packaging

have you ever wondered what the process,was like for creating labels for,different products well you're in for a,real treat because this video is,dedicated to just that so my name is,abby and i am a freelance graphic,designer and i'm someone who always,tries to jump outside my comfort zone,when creating designs so in this video,i'm going to be doing just that i've,done packaging designs before but not,for this specific product so in this,video i am venturing into label designs,specifically for a candle company that i,have completely made up see i'm a sucker,for a really good candle so what better,way than to design one myself so i'm,gonna be making a whole new brand for,this business along with label designs,as well excuse the pun but i hope you,are blown away by these designs there's,probably going to be a few puns so let's,go so first thing is first is actually,coming up with the name of the candle,business now i have had to think about,this and i've come up with the name,spark and light and i think this will,work really well because firstly it,references the light of the candle and,there being a spark and then secondly i,thought i would take it a step further,and actually think about a niche for,this business so i secretly love coming,up with the idea behind the business,like i get to be as creative as possible,when coming out with brands and doing,passion projects so i thought the niche,for this business could be,aimed at guys buying candles for their,girlfriend and i thought it'd be really,nice for the packaging to include really,nice cute quotes for their like partners,and yeah so then the name as well spark,and light also refers to having a spark,in their relationship and i just thought,that was so cute and i think it worked,so well and i always believe that your,name should have some reference to your,business and there should be like a,secret meaning behind your name so i,adore that so next is coming up with a,mood board so i'm going to show you what,ideas i've got already okay so as you,can see from my mood board there are,lots of pastel colors which i thought,would look really lush for the packaging,it means i can choose certain colors for,the quotes that i use so i think it has,to have a range of different colors i,also really love the black against the,bright colors as well so this may be a,thing that i do so i have bought some,images across from pinterest and put,them into illustrator so i normally do,this just so i can reference,what i'm sort of working towards now,with the logo i know i want to keep it,quite simple so i really like the boy,smells a sort of type and then i think i,want the and to be an amphisand and have,the script sort of handwritten font,because i think that will work quite,nicely so i want the packaging to do,most of the talking so i really want my,logo to be nice and simple so i'm gonna,go and,do this,it could be the one,i feel like it's,quite quirky and quite classy at the,same time i just feel like this type

How to make WATERPROOF labels for products - Skincare & Cosmetics Business 2021

i'm gonna show you guys,the technique that i use to make,homemade labels,and exactly how you can make sure,they're waterproof oil proof,smear proof you can let this sit in,water for like days and it'll be fine,so let's get into it picmonkey is where,i create all of my labels,and the first thing what you want to do,is go to create new,and then click blank canvas and i,scroll down until i find the 8.5 by 11,because,this is the exact size of basic,printer paper once this is loaded in go,ahead and,take a look at your bottle that you're,making the label for,for this example i'm using a two ounce,bottle here,and i kind of just wrap around my,printer paper just to get kind of like a,good idea of,how much paper it takes up to get the,label size that i want,and obviously you can make your label,however you want it to look whatever,size you want you can have it wrap,around,you can just do a rectangle on the front,but for this example i'm just going to,create a,basic wraparound label since that's,typically what most people will probably,be using,so the first thing i'm going to do is go,over and click graphics,go to basic and then select,the square and the bottles length is,what i'm going to be working on,first the length is roughly about a,fifth,of this paper so i'm gonna duplicate,this five times to see,all right we need to make a little bit,smaller,and i'm gonna duplicate it again just to,see,all right and that's roughly about a,fifth so,that's about the length i'm going to go,for now let's focus on the width,so the width is like kind of more than,half of the,paper's length so again i'm just kind of,eyeballing it,okay so now we're gonna go to this,graphics tools,and what i'm gonna do is click effects,and then click,outline so now we have a black border,around it but it's a little big,so let's make it a little bit thinner,now i'm,to go back to adjust and i'm going to,make the color on the inside of the,rectangle,whites so that way the inside is empty,but we have a black line so we know,where to cut out so go ahead and save,this image to your computer just go to,download and then save,and then print it out and cut it out and,see how it fits,around your bottle,all right and as you can see the label,is a little bit,too long just like literally by a hair,so we know we need to,make it a little bit smaller width wise,but as for the length i'd say it's,pretty solid like that's pretty good,and i'll just be sure to go on to pick,monkey and then,just cut off a little bit of the edge,here so yeah,first test turned out great i've been,doing this for a good few years now,because this is always how i've made my,labels so i think i've just kind of,gotten used to using this method but if,this is your first time,making labels it might be like trial and,error but to save paper,just cut off the edge so when you go to,print out another test,just use the same piece of paper so,you're not wasting paper let's move on,to the next step,all right so back to picmonkey we know,we nee
