I never want to be negative about,anything about Sweden because I'm pretty,much happy with most things here in,Sweden but I do feel they need to,complain about something we're gonna,have to talk about post Nord so this,one's gonna be called post on IDO League,post Nord and I don't know the complete,history here but they've changed the,laws when it comes to shipping and,packaging I can just tell you from my,own experience and then I went online to,see what others were saying I was,getting a lot of traffic online,Americans because I follow other,Americans like in Sweden and people,foreigners just having a really bad time,with shipping and getting things from,outside of the country getting in and I,hadn't been hit with it yet but I just,got hit with a letter yesterday saying,that I had a package I ordered I ordered,from the UK and I had to pay seventy,seven crowns in order to get it shipped,so they basically delayed the whole,package delayed the whole experience and,I don't know how long it's gonna take to,get my package the interesting thing is,if I put the cola ID in online it,allowed me to pay but if I actually try,to see where my package is if it's gonna,be shipped out that they any tracking,information I can't find any of that,which is just funny to me the post Mort,was able to give me all the information,to pay it but not to where the package,is it doesn't make any sense to me why,they wouldn't mail the package to my,location it's almost like they're,purposely making things more,inconvenient and here's my problem,I love Sweden Sweden is a country that,goes to the future Sweden is a country,pushing things forward pushing,boundaries forward you look at the,companies Skype Spotify and just this,dreaming big and this reinventing of,things and then you look at post Nordic,and it's like kind of dead it's it's,boring it's dead it's inefficient and,it's inconvenient I don't feel like the,customer is taken first and so when I,want to trust about to see what others,were saying I hadn't found one positive,review I've been going through the list,there and every one of them was negative,within just the last three or four hours,so a lot of Swedes have been hit with,these terrible new rules that have gone,into place and the thing is instead of,moving forward and set a post nord,moving forward instead of posting or,saying how can i make things better for,the customer it's,worse it's a worse experience where,you're missing out here in Sweden coming,from Amazon Amazon is like the most,convenient service to use it just works,I had a package so I try to shift here,and this might be the same package it,was a pair of shoes and I couldn't get,it in for some reason it didn't get,delivered,I contacted Amazon within two hours I,got a response from Amazon and they,decided to reshape my package again at,first class no no charge for me because,Amazon cares you know in the US before,Amazon existed we just had the post,office and the post office was ok it,delivered five day

PostNord ADMIN FEE is RIDICULOUS in SWEDEN

hey folks ash from being swanglish and a,rather unusual camera angle today,i'm in my car i've just come out of eco,picking up a package,from postnord and guess what this,package has come,all the way from america it was posted,on the 18th of last month so just under,four weeks ago,and guess what there was absolutely no,customs no tax no duty to pay,on this package that's gone halfway,across the world,and yet my mother sent a box of,chocolates to,sweden about three weeks ago or so,it's arrived in sweden in the last week,and we've just had a lovely polite email,from the tul tul is the swedish,customs department because there is,tax or duty worth i think it's 10 krona,on it now that's fine,right the box of chocolates it costs,maybe 10 pound in the uk,it costs maybe five pounds to post it,and,the tax or duty on it is 10 krona so,that's a pound so that's absolutely fine,but then,you scroll down in the letter from tool,or post nord,and guess what their admin fee is a,hundred 120,kroner that's like 10 11 pounds,so for this box of chocolates it's,basically cost us twice as much for the,personal processing or admin fee,than the actual box of chocolates and so,when it arrives you're on the verge of,just thinking well is it really worth,accepting it you know and if you don't,guess what it gets sent all the way back,to the uk,and it's just so frustrating now i,remember in the uk,dhl were notorious for doing this as,well as other shipping companies fedex,and they'd had their admin charge on top,of the actual duty fee you know their,admin charge for processing the package,and there was a template you can,download i believe you can still do this,today,where you download this template fill,out your details add the tracking number,in there,post it to them or email it to them and,say basically the template says i have,not signed up,to accept this fee i'm the recipient of,this parcel,not the sender and i didn't agree into,this contract i want you to remove that,admin fee,and they do it almost straight away i've,done that a few times in the uk,in sweden i've checked if you can do,this and apparently you can't now if you,can,let me know because i'll try that next,time,and it's just really sad um also my gran,my my grandma my mother,sent her package of toys for my little,boy's birthday,she posted it at least six weeks before,his birthday,there's no sign of it no tracking on the,uk side no tracking on the swedish side,it was central,but there's no trace of it now it could,have got lost on the uk side to be fair,but oddly this one that's just come from,the usa,i couldn't track it either and guess why,because when it's actually arrived,they've actually put a different number,a different tracking number on it,and the lady at the postnaught desk just,now in ica just,told me that actually this is quite,common she sees this a lot for packages,that arrive,from outside of sweden apparently when,they get to sweden,they stick a new tracking number on it,exactly the same format as
