i'm really excited to show you about a,new feature we just launched for bold,upsell and that's,upselling after checkout on shopify,checkout so with bold upsell you've,always been able to do true upsells,where if i'm buying this one pound bag,of coffee i can upgrade to the two pound,bag of coffee now if i go and i look at,my cart i can see i have the two pounds,actually removes the one pound and i've,always been able to do cross-sells where,the offer adds to the cart so if i want,to add this coffee syrup to the cart now,you'll see when i'm in the checkout,i have the coffee i have the coffee and,the syrup,but now what's new is you have the,ability to do cross sells after checkout,i'm going to show you what that looks,like right now so this is our live demo,store if you go to the app store bold,upsell and you click on demo store this,is the store i'm on right now feel free,to try it out,to,to test on any store you can just enter,one as the credit card number expiration,date has to be something in the future,security code one two three and let's go,ahead and click pay and you'll see what,this actually looks like so the order,goes through just like normal and it,processes if you do if the customer does,nothing the order's done but there's an,offer here for a,last second one click add to order the,customer doesn't have to do anything,they don't have to enter their shipping,information credit card details nothing,so i've put a discount on this uh a five,dollar discount the product is still,12.99 in the store but only on this,upsell after checkout page is the five,dollar discount on it,so if i go ahead and click add order,this will add it,to this order the way it works is,shopify applies two charges on the card,so if you scroll down you can see that,there was actually two charges but it,combined everything on one order so the,my coffee my syrup and the coasters are,all in one order but two different,orders uh the customer will get a,original order confirmation email and,then a order updated email so they'll,actually get two e's but showing that,the original order was updated feel free,to test it out on your store if you want,but that's that's how it is it's very,intuitive,and it just works out on the box you,actually don't have to do anything to,set it up you can of course uh modify,those emails just like any other shopify,email but it just works you don't have,to do anything there okay here's how i,set it up,go into our store and now when you let,me just open up current offers here,so the offer that you just saw was this,one called,coasters post purchase and go ahead and,turn that off and actually going to,create create a new offer and walk walk,right through it so when you click,create offer now,an under trigger let's just call this,coasters,post purchase,and i'm gonna set a trigger this is,what's new right now uh this wasn't here,a week ago so we you can always trigger,it on the add to cart button which you,saw with the upgrade to the two pound,bag be

all right what's up guys this is jake,and in this video i'm going to be,showing you how you can increase your,stores revenue by selling more products,to your already pre-existing customers,so we're going to be using an app called,reconvert that allows you to upsell and,cross sell but what this lets you do is,it lets you do this post purchase,so unlike a lot of upsells where,somebody adds something to cart and,you're already trying to upsell them,this upsell doesn't even take effect,until after somebody has already checked,out so once they've already confirmed,their order,then this is where these upsells are,going to come into place which is why,it's called a post purchase upsell so,the good thing about post purchase,upsells is it doesn't hurt your,conversion rate at all,because you're not trying to upsell them,until after they've already bought so,unlike other types of upsells they're,not gonna have any impact on your,existing conversion rate whatsoever so,with that said we're going to be using,the reconvert app,for this tutorial and i'm going to show,you how you can set everything up in,this video so you can see reconvert here,on the shopify app store you can go,ahead and get to this page by clicking,the first link in the description you,can see that it's got a high five star,rating here in the shopify app store,with almost 3 000 reviews so a lot of,people use this app you may have already,heard of it so we're going to go ahead,and install it and walk through how to,go ahead and set everything up so once,you go ahead and add the app to your,store,you're going to be brought to this page,right here,and what we need to go ahead and do,first is we need to go ahead and make,sure that reconvert is set as our post,purchase upsell app on shopify so that,way we have access to a lot of the new,features within shopify that allow one,click upsells,so we can see right now if we click,check status we can see that reconvert,is not configured as your post purchase,page app on shopify so we need to go,ahead and follow these instructions,really quick so we're going to go ahead,and go to settings right here so i'm,going to go ahead and open this up in a,new tab really quick,and,what we're going to go ahead and do is,come on down here,to,right here where it says post purchase,page and we can see it says use an app,to add features at checkout after,customers have selected to pay for their,order so we're going to go ahead and,select reconvert as our app then we're,going to go ahead and click save right,here,so if we were to come back here and,check the status again,we can see that we are all good to go,and now we can go ahead and start,setting up the actual app so i'm gonna,go ahead and click start now,and there's going to be two options that,we can go ahead and start with first so,we can go ahead,and use a pre-existing optimized funnel,that reconvert will create for us or we,can go ahead and set it up manually so,in this video i'm actually going to show,you how to d

hi there in this video i am going to,show you how to create winning pulse,purchase of sales,with checkout x as you see this is an,example of normal checkout,but what happens when we complete it as,you see,this is a limited time offer with the,same product at half price,so why not add it to the card for just,17,just like that and now our customer just,bought,two products instead of one and we have,an increased,average order value let's show you how,to do that with checkout x,there are many observers you can create,with checkout x but in this video,i am going to show you the three,different strategies that we see,our merchants use a lot so when you go,from dashboard to the upsells,you need to click on create new upsell,you select the product to be your,trigger,this will be the product that customers,need to purchase in order to see,the post purchase of sale and then,we add a title using the title we can,show,what kind of offer we are showing to the,customers in this particular instance,we're showing a limited time offer where,customers will be able to get the,product,at 50 off and the next step,you actually select the upsell product,and modify the price so if the original,price is thirty four dollars,to sell at half price you just need to,enter the new price here,you hit apply and then create your,upsell,simple as that using this button here,you can preview,how the upsell looks so you can decide,if you want to make any changes,so let's show you another type of upsell,you can use,to boost the average order value this,one is about using,a complimentary product to add at the,end of the customer journey,let's take this one for example as you,can see this is a product,that will be our trigger it's a t-shirt,and then using the title we add some,sort of personalization,based on the type of product the,customer just purchased for instance,this one is for coffee addicts like you,and then we upsell a coffee mug another,cool thing you can do here,is you can actually edit the price of,different product variants,so let's stick with a normal discount,for this one,so let's see how it looks once the,customer purchases this product,this is the upsell that they're gonna,see they can select their option,and add it to the order just like that,with the last example i'm going to show,you one of the most powerful strategies,you can use,with the post purchase of sales which is,scarcity you can use this tactic to show,customers,products that they're likely interested,in but have,a limited quantity let's show you an,example of this one,for instance let's say that the customer,just purchased this product here,a valentine's day special mug but the,upsell,is going to show them that there's only,two mugs left,of these ones here the personalized mugs,there's no need to enter a discount or,anything the scarcity principle should,work just fine,so this is how it's going to look when a,customer buys this product,they will see this upsell,looks great right simple as that this is,how

hi everyone welcome back to yet another,tutorial for the reconvert upsell and,crossover app in this video you will,learn how to add post purchase upsells,to the original order instead of,creating a new order please note that if,the customer accepts a one-click offer,from the post purchase funnel it will be,added to the original order however if a,thank you page offer is accepted then a,new order is created by default but,there is an option to add upsells from,the thank you page to the original order,so please note that distinction post,purchase page offers will be edited to,the original order anyway by default but,for thank you page offers those,made available for example through the,widgets on the thank you page adding,these to the original order is an,optional thing that said these upsells,will not be treated as one click upsells,meaning that,the customer will still have to pay for,these upsells again furthermore this,option to add upsells from the thank you,page to the original order is only,possible with some of the widgets the,option is available only to the,following widgets the product upsell,widget the product recommendations,widget,and the reorder button on the widgets,mentioned above,reconvert allows you to add any product,upsells accepted by the customer for,these upsource to be added to the,original order instead of creating a new,order however for the pop-up with timer,the discount widgets and other widgets,also found on the thank you page a new,order will be created due to platform,limitations in order to add upsells to,the original order click the settings,drop down menu on the reconvert,dashboard page right at the top and then,click general settings,once on the settings page,scroll down until you get to the order,settings section,from the drop down on the far right you,can click that right now it's currently,set to create a new order,but you can select add items to original,order instead,and once you've done that,a new set of additional advanced,settings will appear allowing you to,have better control over when to add,items to the original order now to have,more information about order settings,there's a help video which is right by,the order settings section next to the,drop down menu button which we just,clicked just now this is the video that,you are currently watching but just in,case you were elsewhere and you came,across the order settings and you wanted,to know more about the order settings,you can click that this is the video,that you're watching right now and you,can access it also from there for the,first checkbox if marked this enables,the option to send an email update once,an order is being edited this being an,automatic email by shopify i'm just,going to leave it blank the following,section allows you to choose which of,the widgets would actually add upsells,to the original order and which ones,would create a new order by marking the,relevant check box beside each widget,this enables the widget to add upsells,to the
