I'm now going to show you how to make a,pop-up city out of layers take a piece,of cardstock and fold it in half and,what we're going to end up doing is,we're going to cut the layers of the,city out of the base page so keep it,folded we're going to cut wide layer,like so make sure that they're equal and,while it's closed fold it fold it back,unfold the base page and push the,building forward or the lair and now,from here we're going to cut another,layer right there and we'll cut another,one out of there so when you close it,make sure that you can cut on either,side of that layer you're not cutting it,together again make sure that they're,even be careful not to cut all the way,through to the edge of that of this,first layer,now we're going to make another one down,here in the front and I made very little,incision because I actually would like,this one to be an unequal layer so I'm,going to pop that layer forward and,before I fold it I'm just going to cut a,little higher on this top part now when,we close it it's going to find where it,wants to fold automatically so just help,it along kind of push it forward crease,it,even though it's failing right there in,the middle that's okay cuz we're going,to put a building right on top I'm going,to cut out another building I'm going to,make this one a little taller fold it,forward unfold pop that out and actually,um another layer in here but it's going,to come in so this one comes out like,the other ones but this layer gonna pop,in like that so that we have some more,buildings so now that we have some,layers I'm going to double stick some,buildings,so right here I've already pre-cut some,rectangles out you can use whatever,shapes you would like that guy sticks,out so we're just going to trim him down,so there's one building and double stick,another one on here oh and he sticks out,too so we're going to do is just going,to trim it down,when our city is beginning to form,building right there and that's how you,make a pop-up city out of layers
