hey guys so the third shopify app that i,use and i highly recommend,is the wheelio app or the formal longer,name is wheelio gamified pop-up app i'm,gonna call it william for short,and if you're wondering what it is it's,essentially a pop-up and i'm sure all of,you guys have heard about pop-ups,pop-ups are a way to um incentivize,customers to input their email and uh in,exchange for a discount code of some,sort,and the reason you want to collect,someone's email is because,the bigger your email list of customers,the the,better your email marketing can be in,the future and email marketing is when,you send out email promotions and you,encourage people uh in your email list,to use those promotions to buy some of,your products at a discount and makes,you more revenue what's what's cool,about email marketing is that email,marketing is free you're marketing to,people that have already visited your,shopify store or website and have,provided their email to you it costs,nothing to you to send out an email to,your email list where it does cost money,if you're using facebook ads right,facebook ads you have to pay to run a,facebook ad it costs you nothing to send,out an email promotion to your personal,website's email list and that's why,collecting emails are so important so i,apologize i just went on a tangent but i,want to ensure that you understand why,it's so important to collect emails and,i'm sure you you have visited a website,before and received a pop-up of some,sort that said input your email to get a,discount code and essentially this is,what wheelio does but the reason wheelio,is so much better is because it's,interactive right this is kind of what,it looks like so if i imagine you went,to a website and then this big giant,thing on the left pops out and there's,like a little game wheel and depending,when you click you input your email as a,customer and you click try your luck or,spin the wheel this wheel will actually,have an animation where it spins and it,will land on one of these,choices thirty percent off forty percent,off uh no luck today twenty percent off,maybe next time,what the customer doesn't know is that,you can actually,rig the wheel so that it will always,land on a particular discount or land on,um,one of the discounts 40 of the time or,another discount 60 of time you can,adjust the likelihood of the,wheel ending on a particular discount or,option,or multiple options and provide,percentage for each one of those options,that it may land on so,you control the game wheel essentially,so i want to make sure you understand,that uh and the reason it's better than,your traditional pop-up right most,pop-ups they just pop up as a square and,it says input your email you get 20 off,discount people are so used to seeing,that pop-up that,they don't even put their email in,because they don't want to be,subscribing to a website that they don't,intend on buying anything but when the,pop-up looks like this it kind of throws,people off and they're so exc

over the years i've seen,and witnessed a lot of trends come and,go in e-commerce,there's this consistent pattern that a,cool road tells,that this is the way to go and then,there is a lot of copying,this kind of things get very popular and,then people look at,other competitors doing the same and,basically everyone's just following,blindly,each other and everyone is looking for,stuff to add to their store thinking,more apps and more widget is going to,improve,their conversions hi i'm samuel larson,i'm the founder of crow gurus and,full-time,e-commerce consultant we help six and,seven-figure,entrepreneurs scale their e-commerce,stores,with optimization now,quickly to those that don't yet know,what the video is,vilio is a popular shopify app that you,can,do raffles with or perceived raffles so,you put your email address in and it,will spin,give you a discount code usually you can,use or,some kind of other perk now the,principle behind vlio,is solid you are looking to build a,mouse trap,and it really also has a good triggering,system,not that most people use it very well,but you can,adjust it with scroll depth you can,access it with,page time like that kind of thing so,it has the right fundamentals in place,but we need to think of that as an email,capturing system,not as a discount giving system,so now that you have your emails,captured with william,the question becomes where do you go,from here,so most likely you have people that,have submitted that in order to get a,discount,and that's their motivation and it's a,very short-term motivation,so instead of it looking at it like this,i got an email captured every email,captured,is equally valuable you want to,look at this situation like a master,chess player or,a very good poker player thinking of the,next steps that,you are going to take with that lead and,with leads,it's always a balance between quality,and quality,you'll never have a perfect in either,category,so you want leads but not,at any price and we saw this with,our client stores that people really,care about william they want to get that,top prize,so people might be spinning the wheel,multiple times,putting their like all kinds of fake,emails and like making,things up and then they would go to our,system like for example in klavio,and we'd get horrible deliverability,the issues with this because some,email platforms like google mail,are looking at these metrics okay what,is the engagement here,so if people are not opening the emails,if they are not,reading them if they're not,engaging with the links you get to a,scenario where,you are getting a lot of emails but,they're worthless,they're not going to help you and even,further,they're going to hurt you because your,overall metrics go,down emails are ending up in the spam,folder,emails are ending up in the promotion,folder and they're not going open,so looking at this from this perspective,it has completely,changed how i think of this video,app and the usability of it i used to,think that it is

hey guys what's going on in this video I,am doing a full willya review and yes,I'm sitting in a pizza blanket alright,guys so if you don't know what Willie OH,is Willie OH is a integration with,Shopify or a plug-in or an app if you,want to call it it's something that you,can download inside your Shopify account,when you go to the App Store you just,search for this right here Willie oh and,what Willie Oh actually does it is a,application that goes into your Shopify,store and after a certain amount of time,a pop-up comes up on your store and,basically is a wheel hence Willie oh and,and it prompts them to spin a wheel like,a wheel of fortune and in exchange to,spin this wheel it collects the users,email or it can get them to subscribe to,a chat bot but in this video I'm just,going to be doing a review of this basic,use of the application and how it works,and if it does work and what the results,that I have with it but yeah at the end,of the day the end goal of the wheel yo,application is that you they spin the,wheel in exchange you collect a piece of,information from the user whether it's,an email or like I said a subscription,to the chat bot and then you can then,utilize that data to send them email,marketing or whatever it is and after,they spin the wheel just like the wheel,fortune they're spinning it hoping that,they win something so you can set the,wheel up where you could give away free,products or they could win a certain,discount or whatever and I'm gonna show,you actually the results that one of my,clients has had with it um and it's,actually been really good and it's,honestly like from my experience this is,something that if it fits the theme and,fits the feel of your store this is,something that you could utilize no,affiliate link this isn't something I'm,pushing I'm just sharing my experience,with it and it has increased sales,significantly since we have integrated,it into my clients platform so after you,download Willie OH your page looks,something like this,and it shows you some analytics so this,has been installed for like I don't know,eight days maybe so far I told it has,told me that the wheel has been seen by,940 people so it showed up by on my,store 940 times 192 emails have been,collected so when there's a pop-up that,comes up just like any pop-up you have,the option to close out of it or you can,do whatever the pop-up is prompting to,do it you to do so 192 people actually,like did the wheel they spun the wheel,so that means I got a hundred and ninety,to email so that's really good because,as you know or maybe you don't know but,it's the money is in your list so this,this plugin builds your email list,whether these people are buying you from,you or not you're collecting that data,and you're getting them to subscribe to,your email list so then you can retarget,them with newsletters or other offers or,new products whatever so they could,still potentially you could bring them,back to your website at some point so I,mean that alone i

What is Wheelio And Why It Is Awesome

it's the original,really pretty cool app but there's,always,kind of a mixed crowd here when it when,we talk william some people wrinkle,their nose at it some people love it,i love it so,why what is wheelia let's start there,really quickly we leo's this little,pop-up you can see an example over here,on the right if you can see my mouse,moving um it can be set up to several,different ways,it can be set up so when you,scroll up to the top here and you maybe,you're gonna click away from the website,they the pop-up will come up and it'll,go boop and it'll pop up with this,little side scroll here,or after a few seconds somebody scrolls,down the website,stays on the website doesn't move at all,boop this little thing can pop up,or sometimes it doesn't pop up at all on,its own and it has to be,clicked automatically from the right,hand or left hand side,so that's what we've got here on wheelio,site looks like they have just a manual,click and i always recommend that if,it's going to be an accident tent or,somebody's going to be on the page for a,minute maybe they're just kind of,serving around and they're not clicking,to the next page we don't want to lose,them so let's give them an incentive and,again you'd use this on a site where,most of the time you're selling products,or some sort of tangible item this isn't,going to work incredibly well well i,shouldn't say that but,i wouldn't recommend it for a service,business right off the bat i'd recommend,it for product and retail businesses to,start so what'll happen is if the person,goes through the site or maybe they just,see this big flashing gift over here,like i did and i click on it it's going,to say this is how wheelio works you add,your email address so it's an email,collection form and then they get to,spin the wheel so,add an email address click try your luck,this little wheel will spin around spin,around spin around let me put on an,email here,yes that is my personal email so feel,free to blow it up if you want,spin it spin it spin it,boom i got five percent off something,i'm not going to buy but,not a bad deal so if you continue and,use discount it'll automatically load,the discount into the person's screen or,they i mean into the person's checkout,or they can copy this code and add it,manually so when people go to check out,it'll already be in the checkout as part,of the checkout process and be factored,in as a discount,sometimes people won't realize that you,will need to clarify that through,customer support or something similar,but,all in all it's a pretty slick system,really end-to-end i can't say enough,about wheelio,the the one point i want to make is as,you were seeing this spin around you,might have freaked out and gone i don't,want to give 30 away i don't want to,give x amount of percent away or,whatever it is,you can weight this wheel so it'll never,land on certain squares or,um only lands you know 50 of the time on,this square versus the other square and,also you can make any of these squ
