or doors drop shipping options or,dropship manually to approve orders,before sending or to send orders,automatically this variety of options,means that you can setup your drop,shipping process to match your needs,whether your workflow needs to be,completely hands-off what we like to,call Beach mode or you would like to be,involved in each step of the process,this tutorial is going to walk you,through the workflow for each of these,different options so let's start with,the most manual option and move to,automatic so in order to manually send,an order to a supplier and the the,reason for this could be maybe you don't,typically dropship but you're out of a,product you thought you had or,something's damaged you can go ahead and,select the order that needs to be drop,shipped go to the dropship tab of the,panel and use the manually request drop,shipments option so from here you can,select whatever supplier you would like,to be fulfilling this order select the,packing list that you would like to like,them to see so it logo and everything,set the shipping method if you need to,modify that or have a certain request or,enter any additional instructions once,you have all of that set you can email,the request you can also preview this,drop shipment request to take a look at,what it's going to look like or you can,just mark this drop ship to push without,sending an email if you want to send it,to them in some other format so I'm,going to go ahead and click email one,request what it's going to do is move,this order from a waiting fulfilment,over into my drop shipment requested,filters so that I know that I've sent,the request off to the supplier once,they fulfill it I can enter the tracking,information here and what that's gonna,do is mark the order as shipped and send,that tracking information back to the,supplier our back to the sales channel,so that the customer knows that it's,been shipped now let's say I have my,product set up set up to be drop shipped,but I don't have them set up to be,automatically drop shipped and this can,be because I want to take a look at the,order and make sure everything looks,right the products don't need any,specific,selections or anything like that or if I,want to double-check on the address of,the customer because it doesn't look,like it is completely accurate once I'm,ready to actually send those orders over,to the supplier I can select a batch of,orders and when I go to the dropship,panel I'll see that we detected two,orders with dropship ready products this,means two of these orders have products,on them that are set to be drop shipped,but not drop shipped automatically so I,select this process dropship ready,products option and click process two,orders this is going to move these,orders over to the dropship and,requested filter as well as email the,orders over to the supplier and then the,last option for drop shipping is what we,call automatic drop shipping so if I've,set up my products to be automatically,drop shipped wha

if you know me you have heard me say,time and time again that shipping,logistics is the most,difficult part of e-commerce the chief,reason amazon is so dominant is that,they tackle and continue to build out,the most advanced shipping and logistics,operation,in the world everything they do is,centered around how to fulfill,orders perhaps even more so than getting,the orders in the first place,now for any other online or for other,online sellers,facing the challenges of processing,orders quickly becomes a daunting,exercise in confusing technologies and,integrations,i can't go into all the aspects of,shipping logistics in a review but i can,tell you about a system,we really like called odoro,adoral started out as a competitor to,ship station orders,came to into the system and you print,out shipping labels to put on the,packages,and tracking numbers were sent back to,the e-commerce system,but today orduro is so much more it's a,robust,inventory management system it's a po,system it's a multi-channel distribution,system,and all at a price point that is,extremely affordable,and what i also like is that adora,continues to innovate and improve,their product i get regular email,updates and with,almost every email i find myself saying,wow,look what it does now one feature i,particularly get excited about,that is only found on more expensive,systems and some of those i've reviewed,do a lousy job of it,is the building of what we call kits,let's say you have three different,posters you want to sell as the texas,bundle,each a different graphic and you also,sell,them individually now most e-commerce,platforms,can't build and manage inventory for kit,because,it's complicated if you have 15 of,poster a and 25 of poster b,and 35 of poster c you can only sell,15 of the texas bundle because 15 is,your least amount of inventory,for one of those items if you sell one,of poster b,or c you still have the availability of,selling 15 kit bundles,but if you sell one of poster a then,your availability for poster a is now 14,and so is the availability of your texas,bundle,likewise when a bundle is sold the,individual availability of,each component poster should be reduced,by,one as well now many back-end inventory,logistics systems can actually program,kits where they choke is how they,communicate with the front end of,either shopify or magento or the light,to shopify for instance,you're selling four unique items posters,a b,and c and the texas bundle,shopify doesn't connect the bundle to,the individual products if someone buys,the bundle in shopify,the inventory of the bundle is,decremented by one but the individual,posters,are not reduced well now with adoro,as the order for the bundle comes into,its system it properly updates the,available inventory,of the individual kit items as well as,the kit itself,and pushes inventory updates back to,shopify,so the availability of all four items is,properly updated,i have actually persuaded clients to,move from,netsuite or seller clou

with or Doros inventory syncing feature,you can keep your inventory up to date,on all of your sales channels hands-free,what this means is that order was,consistently pulling orders from all of,your sales channels to update the,available quantities and then we push,those updated quantities back to all of,your sales channels so if you have an,order come in on one sales channel your,other sales channels will recognize the,decrease in inventory due to that order,this tutorial is going to go over how,that sync works how to check and update,your sync settings and how to see what,quantities are writing back to each,channel so let's get started the actual,inventory sync is hard to demonstrate so,we came up with this slide and basically,what happens is you'll see right now we,have a quantity of 10 available on both,of our sales channel 1 & 2 and a 10 in,order o but what happens if an order,comes in on your sales channel 1 that,sales channel will recognize that the,inventory went down but order o and the,other sales channel don't notice that,yet so when we pull it by order into,order o we update the inventory within,order Oh,and once we pull down all of the orders,then we write back inventory to all of,the sales channels so that they are all,updated and in sync and you have the,same quantities across all of them now,to make sure that you're writing back,inventory to your sales channels and see,which ones you're writing back to you,can go to your order o app and click,this blue sync button in the top right,corner and you'll see right now I don't,have inventory right back turned on but,I can select a couple of carts that I,would like to sync inventory with and,click update auto sync settings and what,that means is when I've updated the auto,sync settings is that from now on,whenever an auto sync runs which is,typically hourly we'll go ahead and,import those orders and update inventory,on the sale all of the sales channels so,once we have that set we can also go to,a product section and see which sales,channels a product is associated with as,well as what quantity it's writing back,to that sales channel so you'll see here,in this sales channels column this,product is only writing back to this,channel this one's only to this channel,and then we have this one here that,shows that it is a multi-channel so for,these that are just writing back to,these channels you can see the,write-back quantity 0 1999 and then for,this multi-channel if we expand it,you'll see the quantity that's writing,back to both of these cards is 251 and,that's basically all you have to do to,kind of see what it is writing back to,your channels and modify inventory if,you have any questions about it please,feel free to reach out to us and we'll,be happy to help thanks for watching,you

order offers a variety of ways to print,out your packing lists so whether you,need to print them before or after,creating the labels on a desktop printer,or a thermal printer or drone can work,with your workflow plus there's tons of,additional options that you can include,or exclude from your packing list so the,story elimin straight how to select what,you want on your packing list and how to,print them out so to get started we're,gonna go to the orders tab and we are,going to select a batch of orders that,we'd like to create packing lists for,let's say it says batch of 10 here from,here we're going to go to print and then,select pick pack list from here you'll,see that we have attached packing list,selected here we can also include the,pick list we can do just the pick list,and not the packing list however you,want there for this example let's say,we're going to do both both of them you,can select the sort options for each so,of the packing list maybe you want to,just show in the original order lines,like the customer added it to the order,or you can sort it by SKU description,quantity all that good stuff and then,for the pick list you can sort it by SKU,description location or quantity,there are also all of these options so,show price for the packing list is going,to show the price of the customers paid,show barcode is going to include a,barcode that is associated with a,packing list so that if you're using a,barcode scanning feature that will work,for you you'll need that show images if,you have images on in your order account,this will show the images on your,packing list next to the products,showing kit components so if you have,kit SKUs a kit someone ordered a bundle,this will show the components on the,packing list as well not just the kit,that they ordered show quantities from,split orders so this is if you had let's,say two items on an order and you want,it and you split into two separate,orders so it would show you the,basically lines of no quantity the lines,for another shipment that aren't,included in the shipment and then the,supplies with zero quantity is kind of,similar,if you've reduced something to it,your quantity it will show that as well,show shipping info this is going to show,if you've already created the labels,that will show like the label,information for this batch we haven't so,I'm not going to select that you can,also show the warehouse location on the,packing list if you want to do that,since I'm including a pick list I won't,do that and then you can show bill to so,if you have if let's say you have a lot,of gift orders that sort of thing you,can include bill to on the packing list,so that you're the in customer that it's,receiving the package no since it's from,for the attached pick list we can show,images and kit components as well for a,pick list I would definitely say if you,have kits share those kit components,it'll make it much easier to pick your,orders and then here we can select a,template so this would be wha

in this video we're going to go over the,allocation feature which allows users to,determine if there's enough,inventory in the assigned warehouse to,ship an order,in relationship to other orders that,have already been allocated,when an order is allocated it will set,aside inventory to be shipped with that,order,and prevent it from being assigned to,another order,but it's important to note that,allocating an item to an order does not,adjust your actual inventory,it just helps to ensure that you,properly fulfill orders based on your,current physical inventory,so to use the allocation feature we will,go to the orders list page,and you'll see there is an allocation,drop down among all of your other,filters,so first let's take a look at all of,these different statuses that we can,filter to,the first status is unallocated and this,is the original state of the order,so this means that no allocation has,been run on the order if we filter to,orders in that status,could not allocate means that allocation,has run on the order,but there's not enough inventory to,allocate to this order,allocated means that allocation has run,and there,is enough inventory allocated to the,order so it's ready to ship,partially allocated means that,allocation has run on the order and,there's enough inventory to allocate for,some of the lines on the order but other,lines do not have inventory to allocate,so they cannot be shipped yet,in this instance you may want to split,the order to get the allocated items out,quickly,or you may want to hold off until the,full order can be allocated so that,you're shipping out,as few shipments as possible,and the last status is over allocated,this means that the order was allocated,but since the time of allocation the,inventory is reduced in some way,whether because an unallocated order was,shipped or inventory was manually,adjusted and so on,so the products on this order no longer,have enough inventory to be allocated to,it,and we want to take a look at these,orders in the over-allocated status to,clean this up,so in order to use the allocation,feature on the orders page,we will first select this list of orders,that we would like the allocation to run,on,and when it runs it's going to run from,top to bottom,and you'll see currently that i have my,orders,sorted from newest to oldest so i have,this newest order on top,and the oldest on the bottom so if i,were to run it,now it would allocate to the newest,orders first,and we'll probably want to sort to the,oldest orders first so that we can get,those,older orders out and those customers,aren't waiting too long,and then the new orders may or be,waiting for inventory refresh and it's,not imperative that they go out first,so once i have that sorted i'm going to,go to the actions filter,and select allocate confirm that i would,like to allocate those orders,and you'll see that it allocated from,top to bottom,so if we take a look at these orders,you'll see this first order is in the,allocated status,an

sometimes you may need to edit an order,after the customers confirmed it an,order or gives you the flexibility to do,so so with other customer I would like,to add on another item change an item or,update a gift note it's really easy to,do and you can also make changes based,on the fulfillment whether that's adding,notes or comments editing the addresses,or splitting on splitting an order so,this tutorial is just going to,demonstrate how to edit an order and,some of the options that you have within,the order Oh app so to get started let's,go to the orders section and find an,order we want to edit let's see let's,take a look at this one so there's an,not a customer note here anything that,we can see on the order so maybe this,was a gift order and she couldn't figure,out how to put the gift note on there or,forgot to something like that maybe you,want to add a note you can do that,easily here this is where you would add,a gift message or any customer-facing,message that you would like to have on,the packing slip and then once you edit,that that's going to show up there so,along with customer notes if you need to,add a comment to the order maybe it's,something that you need to do internally,and the customer doesn't need to see it,you can add this other note here and,this is a comment and what this comment,is going to do is go in the timeline of,the order so you can check that out but,the customer's not going to see that,another thing that you might want to add,as a note or something on an order,there might be something per line item,that you want to show up on the packing,slip so that the whoever's packing and,picking and packing knows to do,something specific for this order so,that would just be within this,additional details field and here you,can put any ending any kind of notes,packing and emotional packing notes here,whatever there you can expand it it's a,pretty big field so you can put a ton of,information in there and then yeah and,then those will show up on the packing,list as well so the customer will see,these,backing notes but so so just make sure,it's that but something that you want,them to see but it's good to show on the,packing list it could also be something,that's maybe someone needs to specify,something specific for a line item maybe,it's a monogrammed item or something,like that so you need they didn't enter,that information properly so you had to,call them and say hey what's missing,this information what should the,monogram for be on this so call them get,that information and then put that in,here so that whoever's monogramming it,can see they need to put an M on it so,that's pretty handy as well the ability,to kind of add that information another,thing that you might need to do is,modify the quantity of an item ordered,or modify what items are ordered that's,also really simple to do so you'll see,just like we edited these additional,details along in this this line here we,can modify the quantity it's all it's,all kind of just t

if you have orders coming in from,somewhere other than your integrated,sales channel it's simple to create them,in order some users may need to create,manual orders to track wholesale orders,or phone orders or orders from a third,party within order or you can easily,enter these orders one by one and we,also have the option to create them in,bulk via our data import feature so this,tutorial is just going to demonstrate,how to create an order manually or in,bulk so to get started let's go with the,manual version what we'll do is go to,the orders section and right within here,there's this create order option so,let's select create order and here I'll,pop up it's just this blank empty order,and it's populated with an order ID,that's basically a date and time stamp,so it also has the same order a date of,the current day and then we can fill out,the rest you can definitely change that,order ID to be anything you want or you,can leave it as that time stamp the,order date you can set it you know maybe,it's a future order or a past order that,you're entering a requested chip method,and you can enter that in here so that,if you have any automation rules that,automatically do the requested chip,method and applying the should method,set that up there any notes on the order,you can go ahead and apply any tags to,it and then for the shipping address,right here you'll see it you can search,for a name so if you're needing to,search to send something to somebody,barb you ship to before search their,name and you can pull that up and it,will automatically populate all their,information or you can type it all in,manually if it's a new customer there's,a billing address here too it's not,required but you can fill it out or if,you want it to be same as the shipping,address you can select that box and it,will pre-fill it for you and then,basically we just need to add the items,the order so to add into the order will,go into this search bar and start,searching for something if you have the,items next to you if you're creating it,that way and you can also scan that the,barcodes on the items to search with,them here to pull up quicky quickly um,so then from here we'll just go ahead,and search for the items that we want to,add,add them adjust the order we can adjust,the quantity we can put any additional,details and we can adjust the item price,or leave that alone if we want it to be,just whatever that set prices we can,also add things like product to the,discount if there's a discount on the,order you're giving them some sort of,discount shipping and handling cost,taxes if it's a customer that you need,to tax and then once you have all of,that set and you're all good with the,order you'll just take create order and,this is going to go ahead and process,through and create this order in your,order account so that you can go ahead,and create shipping labels or do,whatever you need for it so you'll see,here I've got my order pulled up I put,that request to ship method is expr

in this video we're going to go over the,product tag feature in ordoro,product tags allow you to make special,assignments for products that you can,then use to filter the products section,to see just those similar items,and take action on them these tags work,just like order tags but they are unique,to your products,so today i'll demonstrate creating,applying and filtering by product tags,in this tutorial,so let's go ahead and get started with,creating some tags we're already in the,product section here,which is where you'll create and use,your tag your product tags,and to get started creating one,we'll go ahead and go to this tags drop,down you'll see i haven't created any,tags yet but i can select this option to,create a new tag,so i'm going to go ahead and say i want,to create a tag for this special color,kit combo,because i might want to take action on,those in some special way together,click save and now when we go back to,this tags drop down you'll see,i have the color kit combo,so to apply this tag to these products,i'll select the products i want go to,the apply tags drop down,and select color kit and you'll see that,all three of these products now have,their color kit tag,another way to create tags though is,also to create and apply them,at the same time so in order to do that,we'll go ahead and select a batch of,products that we want to have the same,tag so let's say this a dance combo i,want to look at all my dance combo,products on their own,i've selected them and then i can go to,the apply tags here,and you see i can apply the tag i've,already created or i can create and,apply a new tag at the same time,so let's go ahead and create our dance,combo tag,and you'll see that it's been created,and applied to these guys,at the same time,so now that we've created and applied,let's go ahead and take a look at,filtering by these tags,so same thing filter tags drop down,and you'll see we have all the same,filtering logic as we do for the orders,so you can see,order products that have any of the tags,all of the tags,only those tags or don't have those tags,so if i go ahead and select my color kit,combo you see it filters to those guys,i can also select my dance combo since,i'm on that filter for any and i'll,see all of them at once if i wanted to,see products that did not have these,tags,simply select the does not have any,option,and then the last thing that we can do,with tags,um let's say it's an old product line,that you're not keeping track of anymore,it's a tag that you don't care about,anymore you're not using,instead of keeping all of your tags you,can delete your tags from order,so you'll select delete a tag confirm,that you do want to delete it,and it'll go ahead and clear that out,and you'll see these products no longer,have that color kit tag,and that's pretty much it for product,tags in ordoro,let us know if you have any questions,and we'll be happy to help thanks for,watching guys,you

with a variety of product types,supported within or d'Oro it's,inevitable that you'll need to drill,down to specific sets of products to,take certain actions and order OHS,advanced product filtering allows you to,dig into your products by filtering by,multiple statuses supplier segment info,fulfilment info card info and and much,more and what's really cool about these,filters is that they can be overlapped,so that you can dig down into multiple,statuses at once and really get specific,with the set of data that you're looking,at so let's go into a quick overview of,the advanced filtering page so first of,all you can definitely filter using the,dropdowns to get to a certain set of,products for example here I'm looking at,kits on open orders so this is going to,show me all of my items that have a,status of a kit parent and also that are,a status of on open orders some multiple,statuses at once here you can also type,like a normal search in the omni bar,here so if I wanted to look for example,any kits on open orders that were a DVDs,I could go ahead and type DVD here and,hit enter and it's going to go ahead and,search for that DVD within the product,along with this as you kind of get more,comfortable using the Omni bar you'll,see that we have all of our statuses,listed here so as our product search if,I were to search for a sales channel it,would throw that on there as well so we,have all of our searches in here and you,can definitely use those dropdowns but,you can also go ahead and start typing,so for example if I wanted to look at my,sales channel that had bash in the cart,name so I can start typing cart,semicolon and then type bash maybe I,don't know the full name of this sales,channel or I just want to find all sales,channels with that in the name if I go,ahead and hit enter here you'll see that,it went ahead and pulled this full,bashir Ian cart so it's got the full,cart in there this is this is really,helpful if you don't know exactly what,you're searching for or just kind of,pre-populate it,and these little Q's will be available,for all of the different statuses and,filters that we can use those will be,the shortcuts like but you see I typed,cart but it switched it to sales channel,those shortcuts are going to be,available on our support articles so you,can always go there to really learn how,to use this fully and one other thing,that's pretty cool about this here is,you'll see that I have as I've added all,of these different searches within here,it's also saving them up here in the URL,so if this is something that you need to,either go back and look at frequently,maybe it will take it back to you want,to look at kits on open orders this is,something you want to look at frequently,you can go ahead and bookmark this and,just come right back to it so that's,super convenient to to be able to look,at a certain set of products frequently,it's also useful if you want to share it,with someone maybe you're looking at a,set of data and like hey this is
