OrderCup Printer setup

hi and welcome to our cup today we'll be,setting up printers and the application,called OSI direct which is a small,application that allows access to your,local printers so a couple of things we,want to do just to make sure that we'll,be successful is bring up your control,panel and then go and verify that Java,is installed and once we see that it's,installed we'll also or make sure that,it's up to date and that automatically,updates are selected so it'll always be,on the most current version once you,verify that it's install go ahead and,click on the update tab and note that,it's select for automatically update and,that mine is up to date what's that fun,just go ahead click cancel it'll take,you can close control panel the next,thing we want to do is verify that our,windows printers are set up and working,correctly to do this go to devices and,printers and just verify that all of our,printers are here in this case my laser,and my thermal printer once that's done,go ahead and close and Devices and,Printers we'll go to settings and we'll,go to users and we'll select printers,then we'll go to the tab that says,download OSI direct select what's,appropriate for your system in my case,windows is appropriate if you have a Mac,then glad to select Mac link here so,I'll go ahead and click this for Windows,and it'll take a moment,and you'll see that it goes fairly,quickly gland accept the defaults next,agree and install,once the installation is complete you,can go ahead and click close then we'll,go ahead and move back to the detective,configure printers tab here and we'll,click on the button that says detect all,available printers which you'll notice,here is that everything is gone blank as,far as the printer name is wet so first,we'll go ahead and hit that drop-down,list and we'll select our desi design or,thermal printer thermal printer for the,thermal printers course appropriate and,depending on the model of your zebra or,dial printer you'll select EPO ZPL or,image in my case EPL is correct go ahead,and just leave the radio buttons as they,are for a moment next click on the,second checkbox here and we'll select,our laser printer and it is a laser,you'll see that you only have two,choices here laser is also appropriate,for using an inkjet printer the format,is always going to be image for anything,but a thermal printer now we'll move,back to the radio buttons that we,ignored a moment though we're going to,want to print our customs forms and our,packing sluice on the laser go ahead and,click Save you get an indication top of,screen saying settings have been saved,you can close that and at that point you,have successfully set your printers up,to work within the order type of,software thanks for watching and have a,great day

I know that,that seems really simple but the truth is if you've traveled to an,English-speaking country or if you've moved to somewhere like the United,States or Canada, Australia then you know that even those very simple things like,ordering a coffee can be really challenging and stressful or difficult,it seems so simple but it can be really scary. You don't know what's going on,there's a lot of movement, a lot of talk, you don't know what people are saying,what are they asking you and of course you want to sound perfectly natural when,you order in English or when you respond to a question. So today I want to help,you do that.,In this lesson I want to share with you everything that you can expect when you,walk into a coffee shop from what you'll hear when you first enter the door to,what you want to say when you leave but before I go into all of that detail,there's one thing I want to make very clear. When you go to a coffee shop and,you order just a simple coffee you will not get this—I've lived in several,countries in Europe and traveled all over the world and I know most of the,time when you order a coffee you get something that's really tiny like this,but if you're in an English-speaking country you go to a Starbucks or a local,coffee shop and you order a simple coffee, you're going to get this. There's,a huge difference in what people expect and what happens in a coffee shop in an,English-speaking country so let's start at the beginning. There are two things,that might happen when you walk into a coffee shop: number one its 7:15 in the,morning and everyone else had the same idea.,Everyone's at the coffee shop and there's a really long line which means,you'll simply get in line and wait for your turn to order coffee but maybe it's,2:30 in the afternoon, you got super lucky and no one else is there so you,can walk right up to the counter to order what you want. Configure FedEx Account
