Add Currency Converter To Your Shopify Store - 2022 Easy Tutorial

STOP Using Shopify Currency Converter Apps (Shopify Dropshipping)

hey how's it going everyone my name is,michael and today we're going to talk,about a big problem,using currency converter apps in your,shopify store,and why you might not want to use them,but before that i want to thank everyone,who has subscribed,liked and gave me some type of feedback,we passed over 100 subscribers which is,an amazing start,also if you haven't watched my first or,second video about conversion rate,optimization,on product pages and more then you can,watch them too,i'm sure you can also implement at least,one of the tips that i gave,i also got suggested how-to videos so,i'll get those done too,and i have another video planned about,car and checkout page optimization,and how to reduce abandoned cards and,more i know a lot of people who like to,sell the different countries like the us,canada uk and australia and they simply,just go to the shopify app store and,find a currency converter like this one,you might think it's a good idea because,the app says it'll automatically switch,the currency on the product page,to the customer's local currency but,this isn't a great idea,this isn't a great idea in my opinion,because yes it can switch to the,customer's local currency,but it won't convert on the checkout,page in fact,most currency converters from the,shopify app store won't convert,on the checkout page which is very,important because it's the money page,these apps will just put out a message,saying all orders process,process and usd for example and on the,checkout page,it just shows the default currency which,isn't good,this is why so many people who use,currency converter apps,see low conversion rates many at the,cards below sales,abandoned carts and more these customers,may get confused or,don't trust the store anymore so what's,the best solution for this,well the only way that i know of is,using multi-currency with shopify,payments,within your settings and you'll just,need to add the countries and uh,settings for this so for example i,already have canada uk,so after adding all the countries in you,just need to get the geolocation app,from the shopify app store and you'll,see a currency selector on the footer,or whatever you have it selected to so,let's select it to pounds,and it'll automatically convert the,price and,keep in mind that this is a demo store,so the product page and car page and,check i was not optimized at all,but i'll leave a link on the top of my,video about,product page optimization and i give,eight tips,on about how to increase conversion,rates on a product page,so let's click check out and the price,will automatically stay in,in pounds so the customer will pay in,their local currency,and will have no friction or no problems,now if you don't have access to shopify,payments,then the second best option would be to,delete the currency converter app,and just leave your prices as default so,if you,if you have your default for usd just,just leave it at that here's an example,from a person that helped on their store,i s

Shopify Convert Currency At Checkout Based On Location | Shopify 2019

hi guys in this video I'm going to show,you how the currency can be,automatically converted for each,customer all the way to checkout now as,we know there's a lot of you know with,Shopify and with all the apps that,currently converting apps they don't,affect the checkout which is obviously,extremely frustrating your customer from,Europe from the US will be viewing,dollars throughout the whole of the site,using one of the apps you've got,downloaded and then when they get to,checkout it switches back to pounds and,I think that is ridiculous you know what,way to hurt conversion rates but there,is now a way around it there is a caveat,like the one thing you're going to need,is you're going to need to be able to,use short flight payments which,restricts this this guide to basically a,few countries so you know the UK the US,Japan some of the big ones I'm afraid,okay so Shopify have now brought out,something called multi currency we can,shop upon themselves are going to change,the currency for a visiting customer but,they don't do it automatically as we,know what the apps so far a good app is,that when the customer visits the store,they'll immediately see it in their,native currency whether it's dollars or,Euros or in pounds or whatever but with,the Shopify multi currency organ that,they brought out what it means is,they'll be a drop-down option now for,the customers to choose so if they're,from the US and they choose us it does,mean that the currency will be converted,throughout the entire website now,obviously this is great because it carry,them to check out but it's not automatic,okay,I've found a way for it to be automatic,using the multi currency,so let's look into it okay so what we,can see here with man red ants in the,pants come on you got to have something,funny right so if we're here within the,apps we can see that I've got downloaded,the best currency converter app as we,know what these are if you don't know,what these apps do is they convert the,currency automatically based on the,customers locations wherever they are in,the world looking at your website those,say if it's China when they look at your,website they will be able to see the,Chinese currency occurring what it is,might be yen and it will look the,currency will be converted and it will,look that way all throughout the website,until checkout so it's pretty stupid,right get checkout and the customer sees,it back into great British pounds or the,US Dollars and then they back out right,I think there's a reason for a lot of,abandoned checkouts ok so the thing is,what we have to do then is to be able to,do this we're gonna have to delete the,at any of the apps that you have any,currency converting apps that you have,because they don't work with Shopify,multi currency so the first thing we're,going to do is uninstall it sorry best,you are not the best anymore you don't,desert at the checkout so if we remove,that then we can go ahead and we can set,up a Shopify payments ok so multi,currenc

US Dollars to British Pounds Currency Exchange Tracker using Excel Power Query

we're going to look at how to create an,excel tracker using power query to pull,in us dollars to pounds,exchange rates,and to do that,the first thing we're going to want to,do is i have this website here that,we're going to pull in a live table,and be able to refresh so every day,the us dollar british pounds will will,update so we can go and see what the,current rate is and also look back maybe,in time to see historical,data so,the first thing to follow along here is,we want to have this website available,and i've got it copied on my clipboard,the second thing we're going to do is,we're going to go to excel and create a,new blank workbook,and then from here we're going to,navigate to the data tab,and where we see,get data,will have the ability to bring it in,from a website,so that,these are just our different sources,here we can see from web,this will open up,a chance for me to paste,that link,i'll hit okay,then we get here we'll see this is our,data,set right here okay,so,i'm going to hit transform data,this will open up the the power query,editor,this is a separate window and i'm using,microsoft 365 on a windows pc,to allow me to have this tool set here,and uh today,um is up today it's the 12th but i get,that yesterday's date here,and so everything um is is,really looking nice,here right here,okay,now we need to do some transformations,here because,we're never going to want this first row,selected here so we can just remove,that first row,and i can go ahead and do that by,clicking remove rows,remove,top rows,and it'll always be the first row when,we refresh over on the right hand side,it's going to add a step like a macro,and it does the code behind the scenes,here,all right the second thing we want to do,is transform to promote this to the,headers,so to do that we can click a button here,it says use first row as headers,okay,and so we can see that we've got date,us dollar to british pound,a link,and then this column here not quite sure,what that is but we really we really,don't need that so there's an option,here that says choose columns,and we don't need to bring in that,fourth column here,hit okay,awesome,all right,i'm going to,send this over to microsoft excel we're,going to come back because we definitely,need to extract this rate here so i'm,going to just hit,close and load yeah let's just close and,load it will come in as a new table here,and there we go so we have that so let,me pause the recording come back we're,going to make some edits to this here,all right so taking a look at this is,our data connection so in theory we're,going to be able to click refresh,to update it to get the latest uh,exchange rate cut information here,to get back into the power query editor,we can double click the queries and,connections here if you don't see this,this is available on the data tab,queries and connections button here,just double click it to open it up or,right click it,alright,and,we are going to,actually change up we don't need this,this colum

MLB 9 Innings 21 - Guides and Tips: Six Easy Ways To Get Diamonds!!!

hey guys welcome back to the channel,2018 fireballs here back with another,mlb nine innings 21 video in today's,video i'm going to go over what is in my,opinion the six easiest ways to get,diamond packs in mlb nine innings 21.,now some of these methods you can get,multiple diamond packs and most of these,methods you can only get them once,but in my opinion and from what i've,experienced in the game these are the,six easiest ways to get,diamonds or a diamond pack,for your team,so let's hop straight into it,okay so the first easiest way to get a,diamond pack or multiple free diamond,packs from mlb night innings 21,is by going to special mode on the right,side of the screen,and clicking on arcade mode,now arcade mode has two different reward,systems the one we're going to be,focusing on is the level reward at the,top of the screen,you can click on the level reward button,and what's gonna pop up is this set of,rewards each time you hit a certain,level and these go by fives so at level,five you can earn and collect 50 stars,at level 40 you can collect the free,agent ticket and at level 100 you can,collect one free diamond pack,now this level rewards system is a,monthly reward system,what that means is,at the beginning of every month,arcade mode is going to refresh this,level reward system,to where you can only collect these,rewards once per month,so that means you can only collect one,diamond,pack per month as you can see on the,bottom of the screen there's 15 days,till the arcade mode resets,i haven't been playing arcade mode so,i haven't really been able to collect,rewards,besides that point,arcade mode is a point system mode,you get 5 arcade balls,and these arcade balls refresh,every 30 minutes so one ball will,refresh every 30 minutes and when you,play arcade mode,if you're a casual player,when you play one game or one ball of,arcade you're going to,on average,score around half a million points to a,million points,the reward system is a cumulative,point system so each time you play,arcade mode it will add up your points,and as you add up those points you will,go through different levels so,i'm not sure exactly how many points it,takes to get to level 100 um there may,be,some information out there on the,internet about that,but,basically what if you add up your points,you keep playing arcade mode those,points are going to add up you're going,to go through the levels and eventually,you're going to collect,a diamond pack now i've seen people get,the diamond pack in a week in a couple,of days it all depends on how much time,you want to invest into this mode to get,the free diamond pack,i will warn you though a downside to,this mode to try and get in a diamond,pack is that it takes a lot of time if,you're a casual player if you don't have,a bunch of free time on your hands this,mode will take,i'd say about three to four weeks almost,the entire month to reach level 100.,each time you progress through each,level it becomes harder and harder to,reach the
