if you want to start growing an email,list in mailchimp,you'll need to know how to create a,signup form,it really is very easy so in this,tutorial we're going to set up a sign,up form together so that you can,confidently create one,by yourself the next time i'm also going,to show you how to add those crucial,gdpr marketing permissions so that you,don't breach data regulations,and finally once you've created your,signup form,i'll show you how easy it is to start,generating leads by sharing your,sign up form on social media if you're,new here it's great to see you,i'm nikki pesquier i'm a canvas,certified creative,and a hubspot email marketer i'm really,passionate about helping,small business owners and startups like,you,successfully market your brands online,using some of the best,digital marketing tips tricks and tools,so be sure to subscribe to my channel,and just click that bell notification,so that you're one of the first to know,when i upload a new video,and now let's hop over to my mailchimp,account and get started,starting on our mailchimp desktop,go to the left hand side toolbar and go,down,until you find audiences click on,audiences,the next menu along go down until you,find sign up forms,now select the list you want to add the,sign up form to,from the drop down menu right here,scrolling down a little find the form,builder,and click on select,and this is the sign up form builder,at the top of your form there are three,tabs build it,design it and translate it and we're,going to really focus on these first two,tabs here,so let's start off by building our form,starting right at the top this is the,name of your list mailchimp training in,my case,you can keep it as a text heading you,can edit your text by clicking on this,little tab here,you can remove it all together and,instead,use an image graphic,i'm going to select a graphic which i've,just created in canva,and it's this one right here so i'm,going to click on it to select it,and i'm going to click on insert,that's the heading sorted so now let's,scroll down a little bit and,hover our mouse in this little box here,and this is where you're going to add a,personal,message to your prospective subscribers,so hover your mouse over the box and,click on the little edit button right,here,and this opens up a dialog box and you,have all the tools here in the toolbar,which you'll probably be familiar with,if you've used word documents for,instance so you've got your text,editing buttons right here it's entirely,up to you what sort of message you write,here but you'll probably want to welcome,prospective subscribers let them know,that they're in the right place and,confirm again,exactly why they're subscribing to your,list,once you've done that you'll probably,want to include some instructions,just so that your prospects know exactly,what to expect next,if you have a double opt-in which i,strongly advise you do you might want to,include a quick note,to tell subscribers to look out for a,further email

Mailchimp Tutorial: How to Setup an Embedded Signup Form

hi,everyone it is digitalgirl here with,eastworkings.com,today i'm going to be looking at,creating a sign up form within mailchimp,that you can embed onto your website,once it's embedded you can then of,course collect new subscribers,right from within your website so once,you're logged into mailchimp,head on over to the create button the,little pencil up in the top left,hit create and then scroll all the way,down,to sign up form,so here we have it we've got sign up,form so add a pop-up or embedded form to,your website to collect subscribers,so from here we do have three different,options we have embedded form which is,what we'll be looking at today,we've also got a pop-up form and a sign,up landing page,now if you're interested in sign up,landing pages definitely check out my,other video on how to create those,but for today we're going to stick with,the embedded form so basically we want,to create a form within mailchimp,that we can then put on you know a blog,post or a page within your website,so first thing you're going to do is,select the audience in which these,subscribers will be added to,whenever they fill out the form now i,only have the one list which is then,segmented into,other lists but go ahead and select your,list if it isn't the one that's,pre-selected here,and then click on the begin button,so once we're on the embedded forms page,we will have the option to preview on,the right hand side here which is very,helpful for when we're building our form,you'll see here the form options are on,the left and then underneath the preview,is the code that you're going to have to,copy and paste into your website,now before we really dive into it there,are a few different options as far as,style goes,so this is the classic style we also,have the condensed style,which essentially is a much smaller form,so this form is great for places on your,website that really don't have a lot of,real estate,you know we're talking about the footer,perhaps a blog sidebar,anywhere that there isn't a lot of room,to work with,we also have the horizontal which is,much more condensed as well it's just,laid out a little bit differently,we also have unstyled which is,essentially like the bare bones version,of the form,it has no css no javascript included,and then we have the option to make a,more advanced form and,most likely if you're watching this,tutorial you'll want to stick to the,classic or one of the condensed versions,the advanced form it's more for a,scenario where you have specific css,styling that you'd like to apply or,you'd really like to play around with,the functionality of the form,so for this tutorial i am going to stick,with the classic version of the form,so let's go ahead and get started so i'm,just going to walk through the different,form options to give you an idea as to,what it can look like,so the first one is whether or not you'd,like to include a title on this form,so right now it's subscribe but you can,hide it if you'd like,or you can rename

Mailchimp WordPress Sign Up Form Tutorial 2023 (WordPress Integration)

what's up my name is simon and in this,video i'm gonna show you step by step,how to create simple signup forms using,mailchimp,and how to put those signup forms on,your wordpress website,so in the first part of this video we're,gonna create a simple pop-up form that,will basically just show up when,somebody visits your website,and in the second part of this video,we're gonna create an embedded form,that you can basically put wherever you,want on your website,so without further ado let's get started,with the tutorial,so let's go to this little pen icon,on the top here where it says create and,then you want to scroll down,to sign up form right here,and here we see those three options so,you have the embedded form,the pop-up form and the signup landing,page so let's get started with the,pop-up form so click there,and then we have to decide on what,audience those people will get put on,when they sign up through that form so,if you have the free plan,from mailchimp you only have one,audience anyway so just choose your,audience,and then click on begin and that will,take us,into the form builder of mailchimp,now a form is not very it's not very,complicated,design element so there's not much you,can change here,but there are a couple of customization,options you have,so first click on layout on the left,side and then decide on,your basic layout for your popup form so,here,the first one you have the image on the,right side and then the text on the left,side,and here you have it on the left side,the image so choose whatever makes sense,for you,maybe you don't want to have an image at,all and personally i'm going to choose,this one right here which is the default,one where we can put in an image on the,top and then we can change the text on,the bottom,so let's choose this one and then the,first thing i'm going to do,is i'm going to set image right here so,i'm going to put in an,image i've already uploaded this image,right here,and probably for you you have to click,on upload and then choose whatever image,you want to upload,and then it will be here you can select,it and then insert,and this form will be for like in,video editing website and where you ask,people to sign up to your newsletter,where you'll share editing tips so this,is why i have this editing tips,picture on the top and then you can also,change the text here so let's say,um get our weekly editing,tips um then,they can type in the email address right,here so this is obviously required,and you can also ask for more things,like for example i like to ask for their,first name,because then i can personalize the,emails by using their first name so i'm,going to click on the plus right here,and i'm going to choose first name and,i'm going to put this first name on the,top so i'm going to click on this arrow,right here,and that will put this field on the top,you can also make it required,if you turn this on but i usually just,don't make it required because i don't,want people to not sign up,because they

This addon lets you to create contacts (also called Audience) in your Mailchimp when a Google form is submitted.,Lets open the add-on now,Authorize your Mailchimp account to create contacts,Allow access,Now you are connected!,Your Audience will be displayed as list, from your Mailchimp account ,Have a look at the merge fields fetched from your Mailchimp Audience,Lets visit the Mailchimp contacts and introduce some of the audience fields and merge tags.,Visit contacts,Settings > Audience fileds and Merge tags,Let me introduce Registration number field,You see GRADE but not REGISTRATION. Embedding & Styling Your MailChimp Form

in this video i am going to be going,over how,you actually work to create and embed a,mailchimp form,into your final project website because,if you recall in reading through the,instructions it talks about we are not,going to be creating a,form on our own we're going to be using,mailchimp,which will allow us then to in essence,create a list,and then send out emails this is all,part of,the funnel plan the idea would be that,they,would be coming from one of your,marketing channels,coming to your landing page that would,then take them to the subscribe,or sign up page depending on what you,call it and that sign up page then would,be using mailchimp,and that's how we would be able to track,that they made it all the way through,the funnel the first thing we need to do,is to actually go out,to mailchimp and here we are out at,mailchimp,as you can see i've already logged in,and now we're ready to create,our form and to do that we need to,navigate over to the,audience tab on the left hand side,that's if you mouse over you can see,what each of these menu items are,so i'm going to select audience this,brings me to the audience,page but more importantly it also brings,up this,yellow bar with additional menu items,i'm going to select sign up forms,from here you can see i have a number of,options and the two that we are going to,be paying attention to,are form builder and embedded forms,the first thing that we need to do is,actually create,our form so we are going to go into form,builder,in the form builder we can choose from,any number of kind of default,sort of forms it automatically pops up,to sign up form which is exactly where,we need it,to be i'm just going to scroll down and,see what the default form,looks like as you can see there are a,few things in here that i,might not want and i need to compare,them,to my prototype for my,sign up page so you can see here we have,an email address first name,last name phone number and an address,and the phone number and address had,this little blue,background that says they are hidden you,can see,by the list over here that it is also,hidden well i don't need all of these,things,if we look at my prototype here is my,prototype i'm asking for a first name,last name an email address and a phone,number so those fields are good,but then i want to add three more things,i want to have a location of the,siting since i'm having them report a,sasquatch,sighting the date that they made the,sighting and then some sort,of a text box so i need to add these,three,things into this form and remove,the address so we want the phone number,to appear,and it is currently set to hidden so,what we need to do is go over here and,click,visible and then save field then,address when we click on that we make,sure that it says address over here you,can either click the little subtract,button down here or click delete,here either way it's going to ask you to,type,in delete to make sure you don't,accidentally delete something that you,really want to

How to Integrate Google Forms with Mailchimp

hello guys my name is matu and in,today's video i'm going to show you how,you can integrate,google forms with mailchimp first things,first,we have to create ourselves an account,at,google forms or,log into our existing google account,once we do that we'll soon find out that,we can't make this,integration straight through,google forms so we have to use,third-party app,to actually make this integration work,we are going to use automate.eo i will,leave the link in the description,underneath this video,once we are at ultimate let's go to the,top corner of our screen and click on,integrations,once this pop-up window shows up let's,move our mouse to,bottom left part of it and click on see,all categories,once we do that we are at app,integrations so it's time for us,to actually write down the name of the,first app that we want to integrate,in our case it's google forms,now we have to pick its counterpart in,our case mailchimp,once we did that as you can see,we are greeted by this website of google,forms and mailchimp integration now,there are some popular integrations that,we,can pick from but if you won't be able,to find the one,that you are looking for keep scrolling,down so you can get to create your own,integration,just remember on the left side,underneath the triggers you want to,start,with uh you want to start with google,forms,as a first option there's only one,option so,yeah don't go with the metal chimp yet,on the opposite side underneath the,actions,you want to go with mailchimp there's a,couple of options to choose from so take,your time and,pick the right one i'm going with the,first one just to show you,the last thing you have to do is click,on try it now button,you will get a redirected to sign up,page where you can just log in or,register,on your to your automated.eo account,and you are basically a few clicks away,from finishing this integration,we can also use appear.com which is very,similar app to automate,so yeah let's create an account here and,go to the top left corner of our screen,and create this app once we're in here,we have to set up a trigger so same ss,at automate we should go with google,forms,we should set up a trigger event now we,have two options,so let's stick with the first one,we have to log into our account like,this,continue now we have to pick one of the,spreadsheets that we want to integrate,we have couple of them going on but,let's go with this one,we have to pick a worksheet to this,spreadsheet,continue and now we can test the trigger,now the second action as you probably,thought,is followed by mailchimp we also have to,pick,manually the action event so let's stick,with the first one continue,and the last thing is we have to log,into our existing account,so that's about it thanks for watching,and see you on the next video
