Magic Zoom Plus - the ultimate PrestaShop image zoom

In today's tutorial i'm going to show you how to install Magic Zoom Plus in PrestaShop.,You can also use this video to install Magic Zoom as the process is the same.,Magic Zoom offers a detailed zoom area when you hover over your product image.,If we take a look at Magic Zoom Plus you can see that too has the zoom area, but with Magic,Zoom Plus you also have an enlarged option.,To start the installation we need to go to the PrestaShop page and download the demo,version which will be saved to our computer as a zip file.,Next, go to the Modules section of your Admin Area and upload the demo version we've just,downloaded.,The file is called mod prestashop magic zoom plus.,Select 'upload this module'.,Once the file is uploaded, select Other Modules, find Magic Zoom Plus and select Install.,Next we're going to add a product.,My guess is you already know how to add a product, but I just wanted to cover big images,because they're essential for creating a high quality zoom on your website.,Notice i'm using a thousand pixel image.,This is my large image which will be used for the zoom and enlarged option.,Always upload your large images and PrestaShop will resize the image automatically to fit,different areas of your website.,Once that's done, save your changes.,If you refresh your website you'll see our new product appears under the New Products,block.,Go to the product page and you'll see Magic Zoom Plus is working.,It has the zoom effect and also the enlarge option.,Now that Magic Zoom Plus is installed i'm going to make a couple of changes.,I'm going to increase the zoom area size and also change the background color around the,enlarged image.,To do this we need to go back to the Modules section.,Go to the Magic Zoom Plus module and click the Configure link.,You'll be taken to the 'defaults' tab automatically which is what we want.,I'm going to change both the zoom width and height to five hundred pixels.,If we scroll down to the Background section, you'll see the opacity is set to thirty which,i'm going to keep.,And the Background color is defaulted to black.,And i'm going to change this to red.,Remember to save your changes.,Now if we refresh the product page you'll see the zoom area is much bigger and the enlarged,background color is now red.,You'll notice on the Configuration page there are other pages and blocks listed.,This helps you control where you want Magic Zoom Plus to appear.,The Product Page is automatically enabled which means Magic Zoom Plus works on this,page.,But the Category Page and all the other blocks and pages listed below aren't enabled.,I'm going to change this and enable the New Products Block but only using the zoom option.,We need to refresh our website for Magic Zoom Plus to work under the New Products section.,And there it is.,If you want your changes to affect all the pages and blocks you've enabled then make,your changes on the 'Defaults' page.,If you only want a change to appear on a specific page or block then go dire

hi i'm jake from magic toolbox and i,gonna walk you through adding magic zoom,plus to your WYSIWYG web builder website,this is magic zoom plus in action you,can zoom and you can click to enlarge,right the first thing is to download the,free trial it's downloaded let's open,their location and unzip it okay there,are your files save to wherever you,chose to save them let's head over to,WYSIWYG web builder and go down to file,publisher and dragged it over,double-click it add a folder find the,the main folder where the magic zoom,plus JavaScript and CSS files are there,it is there's also some graphics in,there and in they come okay the next,thing to do is add an image drag that in,we're going to put the main image on the,page which is a Harley bike and we're,going to right click the bike and link,to the large image and that's done so,we've got a link in place and now we,need to add inside the anchor a class of,mad exhume plus and that will tell the,page to activate magazine plus when we,hover over the bike so the final thing,we need to do is get a page HTML and,inside the head tags we are going to,copy the the text that you need to link,to the magazine plus JavaScript and CSS,files all right those are the lines we,need and that's copying and pasting it,because it saves time yeah so you've got,two lines here the first line links to,the CSS and the second line links to the,JavaScript you might need to change,these locations,if you've saved it somewhere else okay,let's preview that and there you have it,magazine plus is working,the next thing we're gonna try is to,edit the parameters so on that same page,the integration page for magic zoom plus,scroll down to the bottom and you'll see,over 70 different parameters that you,can use to customize Matt exhume just,how you want it we will add a zoom fav,that's a night effect which adds in a,fade at the beginning and end of the,zoom so right click go to the HTML,inside the anchor add a rel tag and put,zoom fade in there and set it to true,okay that and preview and as you hover,over the bike the zoom window fades in,and fades out okay what else should we,add let's go up here and yeah let's add,the zoom width will increase it from the,standard width of 300 pixels and we'll,set of 500 pixels back in that HTML go,to the anchor semicolon zoom width set,to 500 okay there and preview and there,you can see that the zoom has got wider,and the last thing we're going to add is,we're gonna give it a colored background,for when it enlarges so background,opacity the background color is gonna be,black that's set by default I pasted is,normally zero so it's effectively not,working so we're gonna set opacity to 80,so back to the bike right click it go to,HTML inside the anchor and their,background opacity of 80% okay it,preview click it and there you have it,the background has gone to 80% black,opacity so that's it you've installed,Malik zoom plus on your WYSIWYG website

Magic Zoom Plus™ tutorial for NetObjects Fusion

Zoom images in WordPress with Magic Zoom Plus

okay in this tutorial I'm going to show,you how to install magic zoom plus on to,your WordPress website okay we're on the,download page from magic zoom plus for,WordPress you just click on the download,link which is here and save that to your,computer you will need to stay on this,page keep it open because we're going to,need this code a little later on okay,now we're going to upload the plug-in so,click on the plugins tab and new and,then upload and you want to choose file,and install what you just downloaded and,then hit install now all right now click,on activate plugin and there you have it,in the sidebar there okay if you click,on that tab you'll see all the,configuration and positioning options,you have in magic zoom plus okay now,that that's installed and activated we,need to get our pictures and the two,pictures here both exactly the same,picture part one is small and the other,is large now we need to collect the,image locations on our servers so if we,copy and paste that into notepad so copy,open up notepad and paste that in there,so that's the smaller of the two now we,need to do the same with the larger,image again so going to yell a lot image,library open up the larger image and,then copy the image location and then,paste that into notepad right now that,we have both those image locations we're,going to put them into our page I put,this in your page or post on this to,this into the page of my sight here is,where I'm going to put the picture on,top of the text and under the title so,what we need to do now is collect this,code here as it has the magic zoom,bit here that we need to activate the,zoom so copy and paste that into the,where you want to have the image place,there right now you can see that you've,got the big image jpg there and you've,got a small jpg there this is where we,get those codes we used earlier so,that's the small image copy that image,location and then paste it where it says,small.jpg paste it in there do the same,with the larger image as well that's the,large one copy that and paste that in,the big jpg location there so now if we,update the page or publish and then we,view the post click on this tab here and,there's the image there and you can see,that you have move your mouse over the,image or click to enlarge so that's that,there you move the mouse cursor over and,you can see we've got the zoom in,actions there it's also if we click on,it we get the full image so if we close,that down okay I'll show you some of the,configuration options we have I will,just change this text here so if we go,to our plug-in and in our configure,settings screen just scroll down and,then we'll come across the text under,that image which is here now there it is,there so what we're going to do is we're,going to change this text change text,I'll just get rid of this little section,here and then we'll just add to zoom in,just change that okay and then go to the,bottom of the screen and click on save,settings and then if we go view the pa

Sitefinity Ecommerce - Using Magic Zoom Plus for detail product images

hello my name is Steve Miller I'm the,sitefinity e-commerce evangelist and I'd,like to show you something really cool,that you can add in the sitefinity,commerce to give you a little bit better,product detail view of images especially,if you're working with large formatted,images here I've created a product,called the canon digital rebel but it,uses large formatted images out of the,box sitefinity uses a third-party,product called fancy box to create this,lightbox unfortunately fancy box doesn't,allow me to zoom in on this image a good,example is one that I've created over,here which allows me to kind of mouse,over and see the details of this image I,can click on it and open up into a new,window or I can mouse over it and really,seal the fine details of this large,formatted image to do this I'm using a,third-party product called magic zoom,plus it's made by magic tool box and,they make a couple of other different,options here for images a new one that,they came out is the magic 360 which you,can look at 360 view of a product even,though I like this my favorite is really,the magic zoom plus it sells for $45 in,british pounds which is roughly seventy,dollars in the US and it's based on per,domain to get started just download a,free trial once you download the free,trial unzip it and you will see a whole,bunch of files in here you can click on,the index HTML and you can actually see,some of the other parameters that you,can use for creating a magic zoom after,you've kind of played around with that,you need to copy this folder magic zoom,plus into your solution which contains,the CSS and the JavaScript and up some,graphics which I've done here I've then,created a folder called views and have,created a view called product detail,view and product detail view custom zoom,now where did I get the template here,for this is in the back end of,sitefinity if you go to design and,widget templates these are all the,templates that are associated with all,the widgets that we have for sitefinity,I use the product details and I've,copied and pasted this template and de,sitefinity excuse me into Visual Studio,and modified it,this is the modifications that I've,created and I've left in all the,references for fancybox just commented,them out and I've replaced them with the,references for magic zoom plus if you,scroll down a little bit you can see,again where I have removed or commented,out the references for fancy box and,above it I've added in the new code for,magic zoom plus now online 66 here we've,added in just a little bit different,code you can see here that in fancy box,we're actually just skipping over one of,the thumbnail images and if I go back,here and show you this you will see that,the actual main product image is not a,thumbnail but in magic zoom plus I would,like to go back and look at this product,again maybe there's a few things that I,missed when I saw this product so in our,code we've just added some some,different code to not only allow you to,incl

In today's tutorial I'm going to show you how to install Magic Zoom Plus in Magento.,My product image looks flat.,So I want to change that from this to,this.,Do you see how the image completely changes by having a zoom effect.,Add to that the enlarged option, my image now looks really impressive.,To get this effect we need to go to the Magic Toolbox website.,You can also use this video to install Magic Zoom because the process is the same.,Today though we're going to install Magic Zoom Plus, so if we go to the main product,page, you'll see the Magento icon on the right hand side which will take you to the Magic,Zoom Plus for Magento page.,Click the download button and save the zip file to your computer.,Extract all the files.,And the magic zoom plus folder is what we'll upload to our server.,I'm going to use FileZilla for this.,Find the magic zoom plus folder on your computer and upload it to the Magento directory on,your server.,This will take a few moments so pause the video here and start again once your folder,has uploaded.,My files have now finished uploading and you can see my magic zoom plus folder is showing,here.,Next we need to disable the compilation process.,We can do this by going to System, Tools, Compilation.,You can see my compiler status is Enabled so I need to disable it.,Next we're going to install Magic Zoom Plus.,To do this enter your Magento website url and after it enter magic zoom plus.,You'll be taken to this page and all you have to do is click Install.,Now go back to the Compilation page we were just on and this time click Run Compilation,Process.,Of course, if you don't use the Magento compiler then you don't need to do this step.,Next we need to clear the cache.,Go to Cache Management.,Select all.,Make sure the Action says Refresh and click Submit.,Magic Zoom Plus is now installed.,If you refresh your product page you'll see it in action.,Remember to only upload large images as they'll be used for the zoom and enlarge effects.,Magento will automatically resize the large images to fit other areas of your website.,Now that Magic Zoom Plus is installed let's make a couple of changes.,First we'll change the zoom size.,Then we'll change the background color around the enlarged image.,To do this, go to the Magic Zoom Plus settings page.,Scroll down to the Zoomed Area Width option and I'll change this to from three hundred,to five hundred.,I'll change the Zoomed Area Height to four hundred.,Scroll down to the Background section and change the Opacity to fifty.,The background color is defaulted to black.,I'm going to change this to red.,So if we fresh our product page you can see the zoom area is now bigger and the enlarged,background color is red.,There's so many simple customizations you can make which look really effective.,Try all the options on the Settings page and see what works best for your Magento website.,As well as adding Magic Zoom Plus to your product pages, you can also add it to your,CMS pages.,First you'll ne
