Create Perl template for good coding
Create Perl template for good coding
all right class we're going to show you,how to use odd ray to write some Perl, programs and we're going to create a,template that we can use to start all of,our Perl programs in the future,I've actually got it right here template, dot BL I'm going to right-click on that, open that up with Padre looks like I'm,gonna have to choose an app for that, there it is Andre and here's Padre now,the text size is a little small you can, change that with ctrl + I'll do it so,you can see this a little bit better and,I want to talk about this very first, line very important line this is called, this shebang line it starts with a sharp, and a bang bang being another word for,an exclamation mark so sharp and Bank, shebang line and it's a path to the Perl, interpreter Perl done exe on my system, you have to have that on the start of,all of your Perl programs okay that's a,requirement your program won't work if,they can't find the Perl interpreter so,you've got to do that on all of your at,the start of all your programs now you, also want to use strict and use warnings, when you start your programs notice the, semicolons at the end of those and the, reason for these two statements use, strict will help you with your variables,if you misspell a variable name use, strict will catch it will demonstrate, that in a moment and by using the, warnings we get this syntax check window, down at the bottom here that we can use,so that we can see if our code has got,any problems before we run and you can,get this window by the way the syntax, check window by clicking on window go to,syntax check window and that'll pop up,here as you can see right now we don't,have any errors in my code I'm going to,try to create a variable so I'm gonna go,with dollar delaying that's what they, call a scare the scalar variable and I'm,going to store Perl in that it's a,string and you'll notice that I've got a,problem right away right away I've got a,prob, and actually if I put my cursor on that, line it tells me what the problem is and,it's the same thing that's shown up down, here in the syntax check window dollar, lang requires an explicit package me,well that will is called because I cause, because I've got you strict if I want to,make that go away,I can take my in front of it save this, and now I have no more problems so you,can see I've got green down here no red, errors this is okay what I've done by,putting my in front of the declaration,of the variable dollar Lang is I'm,adhering to the guidelines of using, strict I'm making sure that I declare my,variable names and that'll help if I say,try to print out that variable name I,could try print and I could make a,string here I'll go with I like dollar,Lang and I'll put a backslash in at the,end of that string so that the that will, cause a carriage return at the end now, notice that I don't have any errors I've,used double quotes in the string can use, single quotes up here as well but if you,use double quotes a very special thing, can happen if you put the variable name, ins

Shopify: How to change the language switcher position
Shopify: How to change the language switcher position
In this video, I'll show you how to add the
language switcher to your menu in Shopify. There are ,two ways to do this and we recommend the first one.
It might look a little complicated, however, it's ,actually pretty simple. Just follow along! So here
we are in your Shopify admin, click on online store, ,themes, and under actions, click edit code.,Here, we need to scroll down and find
"snippets." And then weglot_switcher.liquid ,This is what you'll see, however, with your own unique API key. Simply copy and paste a piece of ,code from this article on our support documents —
I'll link it below — and paste it just here.,The piece of code that's important
here is the ".header-nav",This determines the location
of your language switcher. ,Replace this with the location of where
you'd like to appear on your website. ,So, for example, I want to add it to my
menu bar, so i'll replace it with ,.menu this is the CSS selector of the parent
element where you want the language switcher to ,be placed. Read the support document below to learn how to find this. And then make sure you click save. ,You can find more information about this method
in our developer documentation which I'll ,also, link below. The second option is to go to online store navigation and then select which ,menu you'd like your language switcher to be in let's choose the main menu. Then here we need to ,add menu item, the name is simply the languages
you've already added to your Shopify store. ,So let's put French and then here in
the link you need to put #Weglot, ,with the capital w that's important, and the
language code for French which is fr click add ,let's also go ahead and add English the same way. #Weglot but this time it's en for English ,and add, click save menu to save that. If you'd
like to make this a drop-down in your menu simply ,click add menu item, this time we're going to add languages. The link would simply just be a hashtag,,click add and then we just need to drag the
languages under this menu item. Again click save.,You can find more information about
this in our development documentation ,again. And if you need any further help
please reach out to us at [email protected]

React-Intl | Internationalization Basics in React
React-Intl | Internationalization Basics in React
what's up everybody welcome to courting, with Khayyam in this week's video I want,to talk to you about a topic called, internationalization so say for instance, you have an app that's gonna get used by,people all around the world so you'll,have users in the United States you'll,have users in various countries in,Europe you'll have users in the Middle,East right and so now you want to give, them the ability to have the text, written in the language they natively, speak right so if they speak Spanish you, want to be in Spanish if it's the,English you want to be in English if,they speak French you want it to be in,French or whatever language it is you, want them to actually have that language,or the text of your app you know written,in that language right so there's,actually sort of two very important, parts of this I'm only going to be,discussing the one part so basically the, first thing that you really need to do,in an instance like this is actually get, your app copy translated right now,for me I actually just use Google,Translate for this because I only have, like three or four lines of text so it's,not really a big deal about for me I was, able to use Google Translate but, typically and actually we just did this,at work we actually had a lot of copy, that had to get translated so we,actually use the paid service called, freeze app but I'm not that's not the, scope of this video that's not what I'm,gonna be discussing in this video for,the sake of this video for this tutorial,I actually have start a file that you,can download in the description box, below that already include everything, that you need it's basically a MD create, react app so it's essentially a react, app that was bootstrap today using, koream react app and I've also included,a languages folder that has two language, files in it it's got both English and,Spanish, with just three lines of text which will,be perfect for us to actually, demonstrate how internationalization, would work in a react Dada that's pretty, much it for the introduction I think we,can hop right into the code so the first, thing we need to do is actually install,a library called react Intel so we're,just gonna go ahead say yarn add react, until now this is the library that's,actually going to be the glue between, our files, our actual translated files and our app,and it also does a couple of other neat, things as well we're going to discuss, everything that it does so once we have, installed so actually before we do that,I just want to quickly demonstrate these, language files you'll see here I've got, this folder called languages I've got,English, and I've got Spanish it's only got three, lines of text they're basically,key-value peers so this would be the key,of course this is the value and then in,my code anytime, want to use any particular part of the, text I basically get it based on the key,and that's something that actually react, until help us with so we're gonna get, into that pretty soon so some basic, setup that has to happen if we want to,

Cakephp Multiple language or localization (Route) part 2/2 (57)
Cakephp Multiple language or localization (Route) part 2/2 (57)
php tutorial so in previous tutorial we,have seen that how we can implement, localization in our project in this, tutorial we will see how we can, create localization route,so for that i'm going to use a plugin, and you will get this,plug-in link in my video description, and also if you are not seen my previous, tutorial that you have to see the, previous tutorial which link also given,in video description, because this boot tutorial are connected,so first i will uh,install and use this plugin so for that, you can see that it's a very simple, plugin that is actually, created by admit, and this person is,a contributor in cac php, developer team i think,so it's a good plugin, you can use without any problem,so first i'm just going to install this, plugin i'm just going to copy this and,you just need to go in your composer, location file or your project directory, and i'm now in docker so i'm just going,to,in my docker container and just given, this common composite requirement, and then install this plugin,so after you install this plugin then, you have to load this you have to load, this in application.php or in your, middleware,we can give this comment,to load this automatically so i'm just, going to copy this, and paste it in here and you can see, that our application.php has modified so,it has changed, and then it's very easy uh if you just,uh,not using any static route,or predefined route then if you just, give this uh a bunch of code in your, routes.php, then, your your, route should be look like localization,so,but i have used a predefined route for, example if you see in here in my config, and, routes.php, you can see that it's all routes that i,have actually predefined, and this all routes in my router scope, into this route scope,so,what i'm going to do i'm just, going here and just copy this line this, route class this one,and just paste it,in my,invoice and after this inverse i'm just, copy here and paste,so i'm just going to implement this, localization route only for this invoice, actions, that means invoice index sections,uh only for one and rest of part i think, you are able to do if i give you only, one example,so after add this route class the next, thing that i wanted to do i'm just going,to uh,going in,middleware and just give this, settings in middleware so,where is middleware it's in,application.php in our, project so i'm just going in,application.php,in our source folder, and here i'm just going in down, that's been seen here,uh i'm in in middleware, and then, here i'm just going to,copy this, all line from here because uh you don't,need this middleware just from, add, from this portion, copy this line, and post it in here, past it in here,so,i'm just removing this language but it's,not actually mandatory and default, language that has set in english in here,so it's good no problem,so now after save,uh,then, you have to go in here in your project,so now,if you just hit in uh in your,uh local host now you can see that it,automatically uh giving you this en that, means uh,language prefix

ACTFL Nualang Exhibitor Workshop
greetings apple attendees thank you for, joining our session, our topic today is,new pathways for promoting lively, conversation, here's what you will see today,an overview of nualang in the course, library, listening translation and pronunciation, exercises, interactive worksheets, and chatbot conversation activities, and now i will introduce our speakers,we have two great speakers for our topic, today, stephen kelly is the creator of new, elang and one of the company's software, engineers,he enjoys designing innovative solutions, using technology that can have a huge, impact, and also diana collado, diana is an accomplished educator who,has taught esl dual language and spanish, for over 18 years, diana has dedicated her career to,helping her students become successful, hello everybody my name is stephen kelly, and i'm the creator of new line,i hope everybody is enjoying actual so,far i was lucky enough to attend act, full in 2019 which was the last time it,was in person and it was amazing,it was so great to see the passion, educators have for teaching and helping, their students, and that's why we're so excited to share,a new language you today we'd love for,you to check it out and let me know what, you think,so the idea for new line came from my,own personal experience as a language, learner both in and outside of the, classroom, when i was at school i studied spanish, and two big sections of the spanish exam, were the listening and speaking test, the listening test was a group of,students listening to a recording and, answering questions based on what they, heard, the speaking test was sitting in a room, with an examiner and having a,conversation in spanish about various, topics such as your family and your, hobbies, the limited listening and speaking, practice i had in the classroom didn't,fill me with confidence going into the, exams,i felt very nervous and that feeling was, common amongst my classmates,i would have loved to have a way to,practice my listening and speaking, skills at home without the fear of,embarrassment about getting something, wrong wrong,so then fast forward a few years later, after school's finished,i'm going on a two-week trip to italy, and i decided i'll try to learn a little, bit of the language before i go,i used some language learning apps and i,enjoyed the learning of the vocab but, when i arrived i didn't have the, confidence or any conversation, experience to put what i had learned in,the practice, the one time i tried to ask for the bill,in italian i got a laugh from the waiter, and then no bill arrived at our table,it would have really helped me to have,an app that allowed me to practice these, common conversation scenarios in the, target language,so now what i want to do is just jump, into newer lang and show you some of the, cool things we've built, okay so once you've signed into new line, you'll get to your home screen,as you can see i selected spanish when i,signed up so i'm getting recommended, spanish courses, that we think are really great,if you scroll down yo
