Instagram Feed Layout Ideas

Welcome back I'm Sarah DeShaw, blogger and online educator for entrepreneurs over,at sarahdeshaw.com. In this video, I'm going to share Instagram feed layout,ideas with you, so you can get some ideas on ways you can design your brand's,Instagram feed.,Having a clear aesthetic makes your brand look really polished and put,together, and that automatically gives your brand a sense of credibility. If,that's something you'd like for your brand - keep on watching!,When it comes to Instagram there is one must-have aesthetic that every single brand should,have. And, that, as you could probably guess if you watched any of my videos - is,a color theme. So, in the examples I'm going to share with you today you'll,notice they all have a strong color theme. If you want my tips and ideas,on how to pick the right color theme for your brand, scour my youtube for this,video right here. Once you have your color theme you really could stop there,and your feed would look pretty darn cohesive (and there's nothing wrong with,stopping there)! But, you're here because you don't want to stop there. You want to,go the extra mile and find a layout that works for your brand.,As I go through these examples, try to imagine them with each of your brand colors and your brand's,style of graphics (or photography). If you want all of this information that,I'm going to share today in PDF form, including which apps to use and,directions as a follow for each of these layouts, at the end of this video I'm going to,tell you where you can get your hands on a free PDF download that shares all of,that information. Ok, so let's dig in!,The first one is a checkerboard layout. To create this look you'll need to choose two distinct post,styles that align with your brand's aesthetic. Once you have your two,distinct styles every other post should be in each of these styles. So, in the,example on the screen the pattern goes: photo, quote, photo, quote, and so on.,However, you totally don't have to use quotes to use this Instagram layout. You,could use two distinct photography styles or even two distinct graphic,styles. Apps like Unum and Planoly, which I'll link to below this video, can,help you arrange your posts in a checkerboard fashion before you post them.,The second idea I want to share with you is a collage layout. So, to,create this look you'll need two distinct border styles. One that crops,your photos horizontally with a white background like,this, and one that crops your photos vertically with a white background like,this. It's super important to keep the two border styles each consistently the,same size. Because of this, I like using Canva.com's free online software to set,up each of these as templates. I'll place a link to Canva below this video - it's,super easy to use and you're gonna love it. So, once you set up and use your,templates, just download the finished photos from Canva and use apps like Unum,or Planoly to arrange your photos into a pattern of horizontal, then vertical,

How to make an INSTAGRAM PUZZLE feed with Canva - FREE, fun and easy!

(NEW) How to View Your Instagram Feed in Chronological Order!!

how is it going everybody you're,watching the nobel tech today we're,going to talk about instagram more,specifically a long waited very,requested new feature that finally,allows us to switch the instagram feed,to a chronological timeline so now we,can finally use this new feature that,instagram implemented and we can,actually see,the feed the posts in chronological,order so instead of using the algorithm,instead of letting instagram decide,which posts we want to see first,now we can finally go back like the old,days and see the posts in chronological,order so the most recent posts will be,at the top and the older posts at the,bottom so let me show you how it works,because it's super super simple now all,you have to do is tap right here where,you see instagram tap on the instagram,logo and we have this pop-up menu with,two options,following,and favorites and if you don't see this,yet on your instagram wait because i'll,show you what you need to do so if you,tap on following the first option,what you see right here,is a feed in chronological order of all,the accounts that you follow absolutely,all the accounts so as you can see right,here this post was posted two minutes,ago and if we scroll down this one nine,minutes ago and we can keep going 10,minutes ago and then 12,and 14 and you get the idea so we get,this feed in chronological order showing,us all of the accounts that we follow,and we have another option so if we come,back to the first page to the home page,and if we tap on instagram once again we,have another option which is called,favorites and if we tap on that it will,also create a chronological feed but,this time we can select favorites so,from here we can select up to 50,yes,50 of your favorite accounts and then it,will also create a chronological feed of,those up to 50 accounts so here you can,create for example you can add to the,favorites list to the favorites feed you,can add for example your relatives your,closest friends uh the account you like,the most the celebrities you follow your,idols for example it's up to you and,it's super easy to do all you have to do,is tap on add favorites and then it will,automatically show you a list of the,accounts you interact the most but of,course you can also search the the,accounts the profiles that you follow or,you can go ahead and keep adding those,as you can see it already creates the,list so you can go ahead and confirm,favorites or if for example you don't,want a person you can remove them by,tapping on remove,and then remove for example,and you can do the same you can add one,or another so then you can create the,list right here and as i said you can,also search so for example,i'm gonna tap on cristiano ronaldo for,example i'm gonna add him as well tap on,done and then confirm my favorites and,as you can see,that's the list that's the favorites,feed which is also as i mentioned a,chronological feed as well so both of,those new feeds the following and the,favorites both of them are chron

How to upgrade your INSTAGRAM feed FILLER PHOTOS

hey guys it's me i'm yarandria and,welcome back to my channel in today's,video we're gonna talk about,feelers on instagram,so i've came to the point where i,decided that i'm going to introduce,feelers on my feet the reason being is i,think filler photos,are actually little stories within a,bigger story i'm excited let's talk,about it,even though a lot of people have done,this already they put fillers,all over their instagram feed i used to,be the girl who,never put anything but my face instagram,is narcissistic i put my face face,face face face face i can get money off,of it,i'm gonna keep posting my face but once,i have brunched out into the lifestyle,instagram,i feel like i wanted to share more about,my living space the details of my life,and even create a theme,within my feed now if you are a person,who is really good at doing different,angles within the little instagram,square,or now it's not square anymore it's like,portray um,but basically still a square once you,look at it from far away if you're,really good at just placing yourself for,example,like really tiny on a right bottom angle,and then,zooming so close to your eyes or to to,your makeup,to your lashes and then you still have,that dimension,so the pictures don't just look the same,my issue is back in the days i used to,just post the exact same selfie,at the exact same angle and i'll just,post the same ones back to back,those are okay but at the same time i,don't think people are going to keep,scrolling,through your face face face with face i,mean if you're really creative put your,face on an,angle put your face the other side put,your face far you know what i mean like,if there's a little difference in them,then it's all good,now in my opinion filler picture should,be taken,while you're taking your main shoot so,for example,i was taking this like romantic photo,shoot and i completely,completely forgot to take filter,pictures i got this one picture that i,sent to my sister,just to show her hey look how beautiful,the space i am in,so what i did to that one is i just like,zoomed it really close cropped it out,and that was my filler picture it looked,really pretty but at the same time i,could have gotten,the book details i could have gotten the,beauty corner details i could have,gotten,so many little little details so that,way i was able to post the main shoot,and then the next pose could have been,the whole scenery something that i,wasn't able to capture,within the main shoot i wanna ask you,guys how important is it to have a feed,uh how do you feel about it is it just,useless,or is it actually a pretty good thing in,my opinion having a themed feed is,pretty important but at the same time,i'm not gonna stress too hard about it,if there was one picture that doesn't,fit the theme i'm still going to post it,maybe it's even better,because you could have a little theme,going on then you break it with some,type of different photography,and then you move on to the same feed or,a different feed

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW About Instagram Aesthetic: How To Build Your Brand

hello friends welcome back to my channel if you're new welcome my name is christine today ,we are diving into another part of my instagram series and we're going to talk all about your feed ,aesthetic if you're interested in all the tips and tricks that i have first make sure you hit ,the subscribe button and also hit the notification bell that lets you know every time i post a new ,video every tuesday and thursday and like i said i'm diving into instagram sharing all of my tips ,and tricks i previously posted a video on how to grow your instagram and how i grew over 100k ,from this year so i'm an open book i'm sharing everything with you guys and i know that you ,guys find these types of videos helpful so so make sure you stick around and anyways let's go ahead ,and get started so i have my laptop right here so if you see me glancing over here i'm reading ,off of some of my notes so first thing that i want to know about instagram aesthetics if you ,don't know what it is it's kind of like what your feed as a whole looks like to me it's not super ,important but i personally think that it makes you stand out from everyone else especially if you ,are a bigger creator and you have a lot of people viewing your profile for the very first time it ,makes a really great first impression especially if you're interested in getting brand campaigns ,and collabs and stuff like that i think it's super important but if you're a smaller creator ,the whole aesthetic is not as important i think it's probably better to prioritize having quality ,posts over obsessing over an aesthetic so for me every time i post a video i always keep three ,things in mind i talked about this in my previous video where i talked all about how to grow your ,instagram does your post inspire educate or entertain and if it doesn't do any of those three ,things why are you posting so this is kind of in regards to like filler post we all knows people we ,all follow those people maybe we've done it before but you're scrolling through your feed and you see ,a picture of like palm trees with like no caption or like just a picture that doesn't really mean ,anything and it doesn't do any of those three things and it kind of is just a filler post to ,make that person's feed or aesthetic look a little bit more cohesive i personally think it is super ,annoying if i'm scrolling through my feed and i just see a filler post and i constantly see that ,on my feed from the same person i most likely will unfollow that person so that is something that you ,want to keep in mind for yourself by making sure you're always following those rules you're always ,making sure that you're always bringing that value if you guys want a little bit more like in-depth ,tips and tricks all about instagram some of the tips that i have and best practices and ,stuff like that definitely check out my ig tips video because i talked a lot about best practices ,type of co

Outdated Instagram Tips You SHOULD NOT Be Doing In 2022 | Please stop doing these…

so at this point i hope that we all know,that buying bots doing follow for follow,like for like are all outdated tips my,biggest pet peeve is clicking on videos,like this and the outdated tip is an,outdated tip and so this video i'm gonna,actually share some real outdated tips,this year that majority of people don't,know about that's actually stunting,their instagram growth so let's dive,into it now the first outdated tip is,the fact that you can get away with just,posting one to twice a week in order to,grow on instagram now this might have,worked maybe back in 2019 or even 2020,but it certainly doesn't work today,doing the bare minimum on instagram is,not actually going to fuel growth and if,you want to take your growth seriously,on instagram you're gonna have to,increase the amount of times that you,post per week maybe even up to two five,times a week monday to friday once a day,at minimum now i know this isn't the,answer that a lot of people are wanting,to hear because people don't want to,post more but this is just the social,media landscape right now specifically,on instagram now of course posting once,or twice a week is better than posting,none however we have time and time again,through looking at data and through,actually observing all the accounts that,were able to grow fast the pattern was,that they increased their post frequency,so if you are someone who is still only,posting once a week or even twice a week,i highly recommend that you maybe,increase that frequency of output that,you're currently doing now at this point,in the video you might already be upset,at me for even recommending to increase,your post frequency but just because you,increase your post frequency doesn't,mean that you are guaranteed to grow,especially if you are utilizing the,wrong features that complement today's,algorithm that's why my next outdated,tip is you should stop creating single,feed posts specifically quote posts like,this the reason why is because in,today's algorithm we are favoring,instagram reels and if you're going to,be creating a single feed post meaning,it's not a carousel it's just one single,slide you are better off turning that,into an instagram reel like this in,order to maximize your reach reach more,non-followers and fuel growth in,addition to this let's say you're a,photographer or you are someone who just,wants to share a single photo of,yourself instead of posting a single,feed post i highly recommend converting,that into an instagram reel even if it's,not a video and it's a single photo the,fact that the format is an instagram,reel is going to be able to maximize,your reach not only this as a bonus tip,you can even layer on trending music on,top you could mute it if you'd like or,you could allow that music to play by,adding that audio it's also going to,maximize your reach as well so again,even if you want to share photos just,simply turn that into an instagram reel,and you're going to be able to double,your reach another example wher

HOW TO: Create A Cohesive Instagram Feed! | Jami Alix

okay we're ready we have the iced coffee,from starbucks through the hair,extensions we have the sweatshirt and,sweatpants,we have it all let's get started,i did a little q a on my stories asking,you guys what videos you're interested,in seeing and it was basically like how,i edit my photos or how to curate,a strong feed and so most of you guys,went with how to curate a feed which i,thought was really interesting,question because it's something that i,know i've struggled with for years,i think a lot of bloggers struggle with,it i will tell you the secret,most bloggers even the most successful,ones,probably hate their feeds i'm serious,i feel like as somebody who's been doing,it for the past like two or three years,professionally most of the time i'm,pretty unhappy with my feed i think it,could be better,i'm comparing it to other girls feeds,and so if you're stuck in that rut i,just need you to know,it's completely normal and it's okay and,i'm gonna give you a couple tips that,always help me to kind of get to a,stronger place with my feet so we're,gonna be covering five main topics today,starting with number one,your vision board your style um,pinterest,i always have the most successful shoot,days when i,am pinning a bunch of images that are,giving me inspiration if you see a,certain vibe or aesthetic that you're,looking for,i would type in on pinterest literally,anything you type in on pinterest,followed by the word aesthetic so if,you're going for like,street style type in street style,aesthetic if you're going for,a color palette i literally will type in,like hot pink aesthetic or,lime green aesthetic and then you can,click on a photo that inspires you on,pinterest and then below that photo will,be a bunch of similar,photos to the photo that you like and,that will kind of help you to get more,specific in your pinterest search i'll,always create a board,usually every year i'll start a new,board i feel like trends come and go so,quickly on instagram and we always want,to keep up with stuff,styles and our tastes change so much,throughout the year that i think it's a,good idea,to just refresh and maybe start a,monthly pinterest board you'll get an,idea of where you want to see your feed,i'm so visual that i'll have these ideas,and i'll be like i think i know what i,want my feed to look like but i need to,go,and pin images on pinterest find the,images that speak out to me,and then once i see it all in a collage,i'm like okay so i want,neutral backgrounds or i want to be,wearing a lot of this clothing item or,this is the trend that's speaking to me,it helps you streamline your vision,think of it as like you have a bunch of,thoughts in your brain,and you just need a journal and write it,all down and then all of a sudden your,feelings make sense,that's kind of how the feed works too,and you can also do this just by saving,images that you love on instagram i,always save fellow bloggers images,because i get inspiration all the time,from some of my favorit
