Yamaha Ténéré 700 - Anti Wobble GPS Navigation Brackets; i.e. Camel ADV Anti-Bobble-Head

this is an installation,and review of the anti-wobble brackets,so there's two brackets one per side of,the,display and they're connected to the,back side of the headlight surround,to the display surround and to the,little crossbar,up at the top and they're supposed to,minimize the,vibration so we'll see once it's,installed then,we'll take it for a ride on some rough,roads and see how it goes,the first part to remove is the,windscreen,and that's with a four millimeter allen,socket,and then you use a five millimeter allen,bit,in order to remove the crossbar,the next step is to remove the display,and the adjoining bracket,and use a five millimeter allen wrench,and the,five millimeter elbows just set into,a brass grommet that's set into a rubber,bushing,so just hold your finger on the back,side so the rubber,grommet doesn't spin around you just,have to press the little rubber drum up,pretty lightly,the display is attached to a bracket so,you just have to lift it off,on the back side of the headlight,surround there are four,five millimeter allen bolts that needs,to be removed,once the bolts are loose just push on,the headlight itself,and it makes it easier to unscrew the,bolts,when mounting the brackets on the,crossbar,mount the brackets so the little hole,for the set screws,by pointing towards the front of the,bike,when you install the crossbar just twist,it,back and forth to make sure that the,slots at each end,fits into the grooves of the brackets,holding the windscreen,when you reinstall the two bolts holding,the crossbar to the brackets,pulling the windshield make sure you,include the two,brass sleeves,be very careful when you place the five,millimeter allen bolts,through the anti-wobble brackets and,back into the headlights around,because if you push too hard and at the,wrong,side of the hole then you might push the,little threaded,sleeves out of their little brackets,where they're,set in place and then you have to take,the whole headlight out in order to,reposition the little,sleeves,the display surround has two little,brackets that fits into,adjoining holes,and then you it's just to hook the,display back on,and i have this gps navigation so i'm,just routing the wire behind where the,wire for the,where the wire for the display is,located and these five millimeter allen,bolts are set into a,brass a nut that's set into a rubber,sleeve,so just use your finger to hold the,rubber sleeve,in place so it doesn't spin around,you just have to hold the rubber seal,lightly,and don't tighten up all the way just,put bolts on with both,bolts on loosely and then you can,tighten afterwards,and before you mount the,before the windshield is mounted back on,you have to,tighten these two little set screws,it feels pretty rigid,i'm going to use a tiny little bit of,thread locker,on these i don't really want the little,set screws to disappear,and use a three millimeter allen wrench,the last part is to remount the,windscreen,and just snug everything up first and,then
