How to Add Social Media Icons to WordPress Menus

hello and welcome to the print together,tutorial on how to create a business,card in InDesign from start to finish in,this second part we're going to look at,creating type working with type color,and also social media icons,okay so let's jump into page to where,we're gonna pull all our details first,thing I'm gonna do is grab the type tool,create a new box and just start typing,the details that we want on the back of,our business card this business cards,for my colleague Cameron Doyle Cameron,is the print together production manager,I put in his phone number email I'm,gonna copy and paste this just to create,the web address,I put Facebook in as well and I'll put,in Twitter as well okay this is all the,basic information we want now we're,ready to start so if we select all and,I'm gonna use the same font that we use,on the print together website so it's,consistent and it's nice and serif font,yeah and I'm gonna change the font size,down to eight-point your self it's,within our seven mil margin that we set,in video one and I'm mostly going to,change leading or the spacing between,the lines just one more just makes a,little bit easier to read the next thing,I want to do is I want cams name to,stand out so I'm gonna change the weight,of that to five heavy and I'm also gonna,increase the size of it just so it's a,little more prominent on the page okay,the next thing is title and they'll make,this into caps and actually play with,the kerning just a little bit for caps,just to make the space between the,letters it's a little bit more and I,also want to make the the leading,between these two just a bit more again,so we're gonna go into paragraphs and go,to the space after and just make that,one it might be a little bit too big,maybe we'll just make that point five,okay the next thing I want to do is I,wanna do the justification so that this,is all in a nice clean line down here,select all of that I go to type tabs,which brings up the tab,box I've got two left justify and create,a tab here now I can move this anywhere,I like you can see the line by holding,the mouse down well where I can take it,I'm take it just to the start of the P,on the web address just cuz I know,that's the one that's the farthest away,and I release gives me my tab at three,point eight eight one mils now I go back,into here select where I want to start,the tab press tab on each of them it's,gonna give me a nice straight justified,line down much neater must tidier okay,so i'm get rid of my tab that's looking,good next thing i want to do is actually,want to turn the F in the team to,Facebook icons now I could do this by,downloading them and playing around in,illustrator and bringing them in and,that's all time consuming so I'm,actually gonna take away these dots nice,easy cheap sway your tip I'm doing this,is your highlight the F and look for a,font called social icons Pro now if you,haven't got this you can google it and,download it and install it click on this,now straight away it's c

How to Add TikTok Icon to WordPress | Elementor Pro 2021

have you ever wanted to add a tick tock,logo to your wordpress site well today,i'm going to show you,i got asked in the comments of how to,add a tick tock logo to elementor,but i'm going to show you how to do it,using elementor,all using wordpress i know that tic toc,is really popular right now and a lot of,people are trying to link to their,profiles,and you can see here that tick tock is,actually one of the most requested,icons for font awesome and that's how a,lot of these tools work it uses font,awesome for the icon pack,now font awesome hasn't made any,progress adding the tick tock icon to,their,icon pack so i'm going to show you how,to do it in elementor right now,now elementor lets you add custom icon,packs so that's how we're going to go,about adding this icon,now the first thing we're going to do is,go to simpleicons.org i'll link this in,the description of the video,now what this site does is it has svg,versions of a bunch of logos,so what we're going to actually do is,take the svg icon and put it into an,icon pack and then we're going to upload,it to elementor,so you can see there's over 1200 icons,here so we're just going to type in,tick-tock,and you can see they have the icon for,tick-tock right here and we'll click it,and we'll download it so now we have the,icon downloaded and we're going to use a,tool called fontello,now what fontello does is it takes icons,and then makes it into a nice pack that,elementor can actually use,so you can actually use it in your site,so we're just going to drag our tick,tock logo in,and you can see that it uploads it and,now we have a custom icon here,and we have to select it so just click,on it and you can see it's highlighted,and now we have one icon for our web,font,we'll just call this icon pack tick tock,and then we'll download the web font,so now we have a web font pack that just,contains the tick tock logo and this is,going to allow us to add it to elementor,so let's go to our elementor site so now,that we're on our elementor site we're,going to go to elementor,custom icons and hit add new,and we'll call this new pack tick tock,so now we can drag our fontello font,pack here,and it's an important reminder that the,font pack has to be in a zip file,safari will automatically unzip your zip,files when you download them,but you can just right click and hit,compress again most likely it'll already,be in a zip file when you download it so,that shouldn't be an issue,and now you can see we have our icon,here for tick-tock and we'll hit update,and now we have an icon pack set up to,add tick-tock to our website,now let me show you how to actually use,it here we're going to go to our,homepage,and you can see we have some social,icons down here for the staff that we,have,so let's hit edit with elementor,and then we'll scroll down so you can,see we have the default social icon,block here that elementor has so we're,going to hit edit,and then we're going to hit add item and,then you can see it's defaulting to t
