Let's say, despite the common knowledge in  the market, that price is the main reason  ,why consumers abandon the cart. It's not. You know, so we can definitely say for sure. ,We have seen from the data we have seen from the  AI. You know, when you model the user behavior  ,and when you predict that consumers are going to  abandon the cart, price is not the main reason.,So there are a lot of other reasons  ,which actually contribute to abandon  the cart. All the reasons are,related to the decision making process. So as  humans, we're really bad at making decisions,,pretty much. Right. So this is a common  known fact and this is also seen and observed,during the online shopping behavior. That's one  of the reasons why consumers abandon the cart.,Right. So, the choice paradox. Too many reasons,  ,it's hard to make a decision. So what we have  seen so far is that by building these AI models ,is that consumer behavior needs more than  100 different variables that are collected ,from the consumer. And by variables, I mean not  personal information, not historical information, ,purely clicks from data that need to be  used to predict the consumer behavior.,And the way AI works in this case, it  takes some variables, like, for example,,how many times you click this product,  how many times did you go to the cart,,which prices did you click, these type  of variables. And then as a result, ,it tells you, hey, this consumer has  this probability of abandoning the cart.,Let's say 80% percent probability to abandon the  card or let's say has 0% probability to abandon ,the cart. Your behavior is not usually, it's not  really unique behavior on that site. You know,  ,so there is a pattern because the site  has a structure. It has the same product  ,for different consumers. The same pages, the  same layouts, you know, and because of that,  ,also your user behavior or  consumer behavior repeats itself.,And it's similar to also some previous user ,behaviors from all the consumers in the  past. what's up guys it's your boy Jordan back,with another ecommerce video and in this,video I want to talk about something,huge I want to talk about how to,increase the average order value on the,orders that you're getting on your,Shopify store so in turn you could gain,more revenue get more profit and,ultimately make more money there are,various ways to do this and in this,video I'm going to talk about the three,easiest ways that you could do this and,you could even set it up in the next,couple of hours so we're gonna get right,into that but first if you like the,quality of my content give me a thumbs,up and hit that subscribe button below,also if you like ecommerce and you're,interested in growing your e-commerce,business click the link in the,description to join my exclusive free,Facebook group there's over 1,800,entrepreneurs in there and I am always,in there answering your guys's questions,helping you out in whatever way I can,but without further ado let's get right,into the video,increasing the average order value is,incredibly important when you're scaling,a campaign because it'll help you with,your profit margins as well as,increasing that revenue overall but,first and foremost I really don't think,you should be worrying too too much,about increasing your a o V if you've,yet to find a winning product at all and,I'm not saying you need to find a,six-figure winning product for this but,I definitely think you should find,something that's getting some sales,first and foremost before you start to,look into seeing how you can increase,the aov of that funnel and the main,reason for this is that if you spend an,hour two hours setting all this stuff up,on a website that's generating those,sales it's not gonna change anything for,you it's not gonna be that magic thing,that is gonna flip the script and start,getting sales to come in increasing your,average order value is like I said,simply a good way to increase your,profit margins and revenue overall so,let's say you do have a product that's,doing all right it's getting you a,couple sales you're starting to scale it,or maybe you're a little headed to the,scale and you want to increase the value,so you can skill these are the three,easiest ways in my opinion to increase,the AOV and things that i've used,multiple times over and still use them,now and have had great success with them,the first one is probably a no-brainer,but it's setting up upsells so if you,don't know an upsell is simply a product,that is similar or complementary to the,product that you are selling on your,store and what you do is you have your,customer they go they see the original,product they click Add to Cart on the,original product and then boom you hit,them with a similar product that they,might also like upsells are good because,you're hitting somebody when they're,already headed through your funnel so,they already have buyers intent they're,already showing interest in the product,and you show them something that they,also might
