hello friends this is,the topic which i'm going to discuss,today is related to generator room,ventilation calculation,so after selecting the capacity,of the standby diesel generated site the,electrical engineer has decided a,capacity of 750,kva which is equal to 750 kilowatt as,well so now we are going to design the,ventilation system for this generator,room so let's get started,so this is the formula which i'm going,to use in here this is the main formula,for ventilation,uh,calculation that is ventilation here in,cubic meter per minute is equal to h,divided by d into sh into dt plus engine,combustion here so basically we are,going to calculate the ventilation air,required for the generator room as well,as the lower sizing we will do,so these are the tables which i am going,to use that is air density at different,temperatures and specific heat of the,air at different temperature while,performing the calculation,so let me discuss these parameters one,by one,so h is basically the heat rejection to,the atmosphere in kilowatt for engine as,well as generator so we need to add the,heat rejection capacity for engine and,generator here h,so for this one i need to check this,value from the manufacturer technical,data sheets so let's say the generator,which was selected here is from,caterpillar generator 750 kb,so there i have a catalog of standby,diesel generator 750 kva from,caterpillar,so i need to check the heat rejection to,the atmosphere by engine so this is the,technical that as you can see here,you can see here the heat rejection to,atmosphere from engine is 96 kilowatt,and the heat rejection to the atmosphere,from generator is 28.9 kilowatt we need,to add,both,20 96 and 28.9,so i have added in here 96 plus 28.9 so,total heat rejection to atmosphere from,engine and generator is 125,kilowatt,so now we as i told you this is the,ventilation here in cubic meter per,minute and d is the density of the air,in kg per cubic meter i will tell you,later how to get this one because this,depends on temperature let me discuss,the temperatures first,now sh is the specific heat of the air,in kilowatt minute per kg degree celsius,this also depends on temperature so let,me discuss the temperatures first dt is,basically the temperature difference,that is t2 minus t1 inside the engine,room generator room,so t1 is the design temperature which,was taken at 40 degree celsius and t2 is,a maximum allowable temperature that is,50 degree celsius,so we need to take the density of the,air,as well as,specific heat of the air at maximum,allowable temperature of 50 degree,celsius,so t2 is calculated as,this del dt is calculated as c2 minus t1,that is 50 minus 40 equal to 10 degree,celsius now i will tell you how did i,get the density of the air,here so let me go to air density table,so it should be kg per cubic meter and,we need to check the density of the air,at maximum allowable temperature of 50,degree celsius,so let's go to air density table as you,can see here we have,temper

How to Build Search Box in Excel

Today I want to show you how you can add a search box to your Excel spreadsheet.,Imagine you have customer information in Excel, you can use a search box to look for ,exact matches, but you can also use it for more advanced scenarios. You can look for partial ,matches. You can even search across multiple columns, and we can even highlight the results. ,This is a fully fledged search box. If you want to follow along today, ,I've included a sample spreadsheet right up above and down below in the description.,This is the perfect thing to add to an Excel dashboard, and if you want to create an Excel ,dashboard, I have a video right up there that'll show you step-by-step how to do it.,All right, let's check this out. Here I am in Excel, ,and we're going to start with just the basic search box first.,We're going to do an exact match.,Down below I have a data set with customers and their favorite cookies.,I know, how can you possibly choose just one favorite cookie, but hey, we had to do it. ,Over on the right-hand side, I want to add a search box so when you search for a ,customer's first name, the table down below will show all of the matching customers.,To insert a search box, first off, we need to add the developer tab and if you don't yet have this, ,you can simply right click on the ribbon and then click on customize.,Within customize over on the right-hand side you should see an option for developer.,Make sure that this box is checked and then click on OK.,Now that we have the developer tab, let's click on it and ,right in the center there is the option to insert.,Click on this and under the ActiveX controls category, here you'll see a text box. We're ,going to use this as our search box. Click on this and then draw a search box over cell G2.,We now have a search box on the sheet, but it doesn't actually do anything yet. While in design ,mode, let's right click on the search box and then go down to the option that says properties.,This opens up properties and within this list you'll see an option for linked cell.,We want to link our search box to a cell within our worksheet ,and I'm going to link it to the cell that's directly behind the search box or cell G2.,So right here I'll type in G2 and then I can close ,out properties.
