what's going on guys Kuna Bryan here,welcome back to a brand new YouTube,video and if you're new to my youtube,channel and make all sorts of videos,here on my channel about business,entrepreneurship and digital marketing,and today's topic we're going to be,discussing Facebook vs. Google,advertising now my audience here on,YouTube is primarily agency owners but,this goes for any business owner if,you're doing dropshipping in e-commerce,or you have your own business or even a,brick-and-mortar business or if you own,a digital marketing agency you're doing,marketing for other businesses this is,all going to be applicable to you so,let's break it down on a very basic,level why is Facebook and Google,different why are there ad products,different well let's look at it number,one Facebook is a social media platform,people go onto Facebook to connect with,their friends they go onto Facebook to,look at pictures of their grandchildren,and funny videos of cats and memes and,everything like that right so that's why,people are on Facebook so it's important,to understand that dynamic when you're,trying to run advertisement on one of,these platforms now Google on the other,hand is for information right it's,intent-based people go on Google with an,intention of finding out something and,answer to a question information on,topic that they're interested in,learning more about and so like I said,understanding these dynamics and,understanding why these platforms exist,and what they're primarily used for is,important when you're trying to figure,out which one to advertise on now let's,talk about the difference between,Facebook and Google Ads in terms of how,you pay for them so Facebook is,impression based that means you are,paying a CPM rate you're paying a,certain amount of money for how many,people see your ad so you can pay a,whole bunch of money you can spend,thousands of dollars on you know and ad,trying to get people to your landing,page or whatever and trying to get link,clicks but at the end of the day,Facebook is going to charge you for how,many people that ad reached and you,might get zero clicks that's now,obviously that's unlikely that's an,extreme scenario but all I'm trying to,get across to you guys is that Facebook,is impression based and you're paying,based on,how many people see the ad not how many,people take an action now Google on the,other hand is CPC based right cost per,click so when somebody clicks on your,Google ad that's when you get charged,you can show your ad inversely to,Facebook you can show your ad thousands,of people but if nobody clicks on it,you're not gonna pay a single cent now,in terms of the ad products themselves,I'm talking about when you're in the,back end of Facebook ads and you're in,the back end of Google ads in my opinion,I am both certified in Facebook and,Google and so I spend a lot of time in,both of the back ends of these app,platforms Facebook is a lot better in my,opinion in terms of the targeting,options look-alike

facebook ads and google ads are the two,biggest advertising platforms in the,world if your business is not on both,or one or the other then you're,massively missing out,on traffic and sales so the question,we're looking at today is,how can these two huge platforms work,together now,most people think you choose between,facebook ads or google ads and that,facebook ads is better now or sometimes,some people say google ads is better,than facebook ads but the fact is,you need both platforms to reach all,customers at every level so let's take a,look,and see how these two hugely important,platforms,can work together the first thing to,look at is the targeting difference,between the two platforms now,as you know on the channel we talk about,google ads a lot and the great thing,about google ads,is you appear in front of your target,customer at the very moment,they're looking for your services now,let's relate this back,to the classic marketing funnel now when,you look at the marketing funnel,you can see that the area at the bottom,where conversion happens,is proportionally a lot smaller than the,bigger area at the top,now obviously that means the opportunity,at the top of the funnel,has a lot more people which is where,facebook ads comes into it now with,facebook ads,you are prospecting your traffic you're,looking at people,based on their demographics and what,facebook knows about them,to target them based on the fact they,could cross over with being a target,customer,of your products now that is a huge,advantage over google ads but then,google ads has a huge advantage over,facebook ads,in that google ads knows exactly what,people are looking for,right now so these two platforms need to,work together because they cover,two separate distinctly different areas,of the buying funnel so we've got to get,them to work together but the question,is,how well the way we see how this happens,is first of all looking at the traffic,generated from facebook ads now of,course facebook ads,is a lot cheaper in terms of reach and,traffic versus google ads because on,google,your auction competes with people,looking for the traffic right now,the volumes are a lot less in terms of,people looking versus the total,market size so facebook ads has the,advantage of having,larger reach for a lot cheaper now the,advantage of this means that you can get,a ton of traffic,that's relevant because of course you're,targeting your perfect demographics and,customer profiles on facebook,all of that good traffic hitting your,website is going to be added to,your retargeting lists now of course you,can retarget on facebook,but why would you stop there you should,also use this traffic,to retarget on google ads and the best,thing about this,is that you can have an integrated,campaign where you can match,your creative because of course search,on google isn't visual you can't,see the product before you click through,on the ad whereas on facebook you can,get a preview of images or videos or,different

which one is better for your business,facebook ads or google ads now this is,not going to be one of those videos,where it says it depends on your,situation and maybe give both a try and,see how it all works out because i'm,going to be giving you some very clear,reasons for why you should be focusing,your time in learning one of these,platforms and why that same platform,should be the one which gets the vast,majority of your marketing budget now i,do agree that if you're an established,business you need to be present on both,of these platforms however if we're in a,world where you could only choose one of,these platforms their clear winner for,me would be all i'm offering is the,truth nothing more google ads now i know,what you're saying of course you would,say google ads is the best option aaron,because you do call yourself the 15 000,hour google ads master but i want to,make it clear that is not the reason for,why and the reason for why i've solely,focused on google ads over the last 12,years is because i truly believe that,google ads is the better option for my,business and also for your business and,i'm not alone in this belief because if,you look at the financial records for,both facebook and google for 2021 and,only look at their advertising revenue,so the money that they're getting from,their ad platforms google ads was the,clear winner in terms of percentage,growth with facebook's revenue growing,by 37.2,and google's ad revenue growing by 42.6,and before you say well five percent,isn't that much what you need to,remember is that google's ad revenue was,already nearly double that of facebook,so five percent growth is huge and when,you break it down to the actual increase,in revenue it looks like this when you,look over the 2021 period google's ad,revenue grew by 62.5 million dollars,while facebook's ad revenue only grew by,31.9 million dollars meaning that google,got double the amount of new ad revenue,coming into the industry and the reason,for why this is so significant is,because both google and facebook are,well established channels in the digital,marketing space with google ads,launching in 2000 and facebook launching,in 2007. so you can't attribute this,growth to new trends or facebook being,newer or google being more established,because they've both been around for,more than 10 years so this leads us to,one main reason for why google is,quickly outgrowing facebook in ad,revenue and that main reason is results,like it or not the pure facts are is,that google creates more relevant sales,and inquiries than what facebook does,and we know this because money trails,don't lie when it comes to advertising,businesses money follows where there are,the most results so the reason for why,google grew quicker than facebook is,because many businesses saw that they,were fast getting far superior results,on google rather than facebook so,rewinding back to 2010 why did i choose,to focus on google ads rather than,facebook ads now like many businesses,w

google ads versus facebook ask,which one is the better platform for,your business,hey guys welcome back to the channel and,welcome to our very first episode of,marketing takes,where we debate the pros and the cons of,different digital marketing channels,and strategies and today i have two,people joining us from our team,to talk about of course google ass or,facebook ads and which one is better,for your business so welcome to the show,anthony and katherine,how are you guys doing today doing great,shout out,to you doing great doing amazing doing,amazing so i know,everybody's excited to hear about what,you guys think when it comes to google,ads versus facebook ads so let's go to,hop into it and start with you anthony,what does facebook ads have that maybe,google ads do not have yeah that's a,great question and i actually get,asked a lot um well with facebook what,ends up happening,is with facebook you're able to cast a,wider net to those that don't know,they need your service right so with,facebook you're getting in front of,people,that you're targeting based off,behaviors likes,interests demographics google ads which,you'll find is that they're actively,searching for the solutions,or products that you're offering so long,story short to answer your question sean,with facebook you're able to cast a,wider net to get in front of those that,don't know,anything about your products and,services and you're there to engage with,them to let them know about your,products and services so,that's pretty much what i was saying,about facebook makes sense catherine,what do you think,yeah so google advertising provides a,warm,audience to someone they're searching,for your business,or they're searching for your product so,if they find you using google,you know that they were actively,searching for you,so google actually helps new customers,find you rather than,the other way around make sense now when,it comes to google ads and facebook ads,it's,widely known that google ads,cost more per click than,facebook ads may cost so what do we have,to say about that,is that a good thing or a bad thing i,think um it depends on who you are and,where you're at in your business right,so i think if you're established,business say you have a higher product,or cost for product i think google ads,make a lot of sense if you can afford,that,higher advertising cost um facebook and,instagram you know it's not,pay-per-click like you mentioned it's,paper impression so,you could tend to spread your dollars a,lot further however,like we mentioned in the first question,doesn't get you as qualified of a lead,but it does tend to spread your dollars,a lot further,um so i guess to wrap up that question,and the answer it depends on where,you're at in your business and what you,can actually,afford for advertising catherine what do,you think yeah so it is true google ads,typically,are more expensive but the buyer's,intent,is higher so you're going to see a,higher conversion rate,so you're paying for a
