EZ Importer - Properly Map Your Shopify Orders

hey bear and thank you so much for,giving order in betray hopefully we'll,be able to be helpful for you in your,transition over to Shopify I wanted to,make this really quick video to just,help you understand the process learn a,little bit more about how order amp,works and hopefully be a little bit more,successful in actually getting all of,your orders where they need to be my,name is Jacob you'll probably come in,contact with me if you reach out to the,support email I'm the guy behind the,curtain running the show and you know I,have a very small technical background I,did not code this site from scratch or,anything but have gotten pretty good at,troubleshooting most of the little,problems that come up when merchants are,trying to switch over to Shopify so,hopefully I'll be able to help you out,the first thing that I wanted to talk,about is what you see right here on the,screen this is the CSV order file so,when you export your orders from,whatever platform that you're coming,from this is the file that is going to,be generated by that platform now if it,doesn't look like this reach out to,support at order M calm and we'll give,you a hand trying to get it into this,format but hopefully this is what it's,going to look like some of the more,important things to note here is making,sure that you have an ID column or an,order number column so this is how the,system is going to identify a unique,order so if you have repeating numbers,or others non unique identifiers you're,going to want to change that before you,try uploading to order amp the next,thing is this email column so make sure,that every single order has an email if,there is no email the system will not,import it and this is a Shopify rule not,an ordering rule so unfortunate not,something we can make exceptions for,either the other thing is making sure,that one that all of those emails are,valid emails so if there are typos like,somebody typing in dot Co n instead,komm for an email or just a non valid,email somebody didn't want to provide,their email and they put in some it's,fake those will get rejected by the,system also obviously you're not,necessarily going to know if a mail is,fake ahead of time or not but you can at,least do a quick scan for empty emails,easiest way to do that is just select,this column go up here to sort and,filter and then do either one of these,sorts it doesn't actually matter but,then it'll put all of the blank columns,or all the blank cells either at the,very top or the very bottom of this list,and you'll be able to scroll up or down,to see if there are any empty or missing,emails the other reason that this is so,important is that the system identifies,customers based on unique emails so when,you have a order or multiple orders that,have the same email Shopify is going to,associate all of those orders with the,same customer so if you know we have,Tony Stark over here,if he's ordered multiple different times,than if you go into that customer,profile on Shopify you'll

EZ Importer - Mapping Your CSV File

in this tutorial you will learn how to,map your CSV files in the appropriate,Shopify fields at first this may seem,overwhelming but don't worry after this,tutorial it'll be a breeze,to begin click the import orders button,this will display the Shopify imported,ion box,the styling box will ask you for your,ports name data mapping and file after,you fill not your important name select,the add new data mapping option from the,data mapping dropdowns select the file,you want to import using the select File,button and click review in this will,bring you to the data mapper,the first thing you'll notice is our,quick help dialog the quick help dialog,gives you a brief overview of how to use,the data matter it also lists all,required fields and gives you a handful,of helpful links to help get you started,clicking the info icon will give you,more information about futures you're,curious about now it's time to walk you,through setting up your first date,mapping to keep things simple we're,going to create a data mapping with only,the required shopify fields our next,tutorial will help you matter real-world,example the first thing we want to point,out is our configuration options at this,time we have two options the first,option will let Shopify generate the,order name click the check box to the,left of the description if you do not,want to use the order name in your CSV,file the second option allows you to map,your product by its SKU this will tell,Shopify to create a hyperlink to the,products in your corner to activate this,option click the check box to the left,of the description the first thing,you'll notice is we've broken each order,section into multiple tabs clicking each,tab will bring you to the field mapping,for that section all required fields in,that section will be marked with an,Astra the first field we need to map is,the order name this field is required by,easy important is selected by default,hovering over the question mark to the,right of the Shopify field name will,give you an explanation of the field now,that we understand how the field is used,we need to map it to do this we can,click the drop down in the header name,column and select the field the field is,now mapped to the order name column in,our CSV file,next we're going to map the require,field on the line items tab there are,three fields we need to map on this tap,the title price again we can hover over,the question mark to the right of the,field to get a description of what the,field is usually to activate these,fields you want to click the check box,to the left of the view the first field,we're going to map is the title field as,with the order name we can click the,drop down under the header name column,this time we don't see the title column,from our CSV right away we can search,all columns in our CSV file by clicking,the field name in the text box we'll,select the CSV column and activate the,field by clicking the checkbox next to,the shopping list will now do the same,thing for t

How to Import a Magical Light Shows EZ Import File!

easy import is not only a sequence,category I created for easy importing to,various displays using the free yet,powerful x-lite software but it's more,importantly a concept of programming,when I sequence I do so in a way knowing,that everyone will be using different,props which sometimes more or less dense,pixel layouts keeping this in mind I'm,careful to use effects that transfer,well from prop to prop from my display,to yours by taking advantage of various,rendering options and buffer zones built,into the software if that doesn't make,sense don't worry about it it's what I,do to make your display better and to,allow you to spend more time where you,enjoy the most,assuming you already have your display,created an X lights first you'll want to,create prop groups and your display in,the layout tab the best resemble the,groups I use to create effects don't,worry about remembering them they are,listed below and they're also in every,sequence you import from magical light,shows when you download a sequence it,will be a zip file you will need to,unzip once you do that it will contain,my displays current RGB effects and,layout files would you give you access,to my personal layout if you don't know,what the groups are intended to be open,up my display by temporarily changing,the show directory to the folder you,downloaded now here's the show directory,you can hit change,I am the easy import we click on layout,here you can see my display I'm gonna go,over the groups one by one that I use,now here's my all group the all group,contains all of my lights except for my,singing props next I have all except the,matrix sometimes I like to do effects,that don't apply to any matrices in your,layout now I purposely left one little,prop out so you can see how you add it,so you go to all and once you have a,group by the way to make a new group you,just right click and add group once you,do that you'll see all your props and,your display and you can go ahead and,select it and add it I'll do that right,now let's take a spinner - that one's,missing click the arrow click Save and,now that spinner is part of this group,moving on the next group I use is,all the house which is basically all the,house again without singing elements,next all your lawn decor now this does,not include the mega tree or a mega,topper as I treat those differently if,you have arches you can go ahead and,make a group for those if you have canes,make a group for those as well,horizontal lines is basically all your,horizontal lines on your house house,outline is what it seems house props are,windows now some people have a lot of,windows some people don't and they use,props to fill it up regardless anything,that is a window or decor on your house,will want to be in this group icicles if,you have them now one thing I like to do,in particular is I like to separate my,house outline into three groups a left,third middle third and right there this,allows more flexibility when I'm,programming next we have si

ADVANCED EZ File Importer | The BETTER Way to Import Excel Data Into Quickbase

this will be part two you know part one,last week was obviously installation,setup Etc so I'm going to reuse that,same app,um to run through some more a couple,Advanced features that you might find,that you might find Handy uh when it,comes to easy probably importer so I,have my app uh it's uh it's empty as you,can see uh kind of blew away all the,records this way we could start again,and I do have my let me bring over my,here's my Excel sheet,um it has a bunch of assets,um computers equipment Etc on one Tab,and then it has some employees on,another Tab and,um I and then I actually signed and,we'll see why I'll use these uh,assignments here in in my examples my,load so I'm assigning uh I'm going to,assign uh assets to employees but for,now we'll take it step by step and and,like I said so from last week,uh you know we left off uh with say a,multi-tab,um which is kind of an advanced feature,a multi-tab import which is what I just,showed you the two tabs so let's load up,the data with that same,um with that Excel sheet so uh I already,again last week I created my,configuration so I'm going to reuse them,and they're all explained in in last,week's help session or you know in the,videos so all I'm going to do is add my,file that I just showed you so that I,can load up my data right so two tabs to,into two tables right and all I have to,do obviously is just add my file to my,configuration my configuration group,right which has the which has the import,configurations which we went through,last week and then my files that I want,to load and that's it all everything's,contained here inside a configuration,group if I view that record so now I'm,seeing,um uh some some information about the,import right,so let's just go and make sure that,everything got loaded okay so here's my,Assets Now my assets table and my test,table are loaded right so now we have,data inside the app from an import of,multi-tabs,um now so now I want to take you through,um that one of the features that we were,wanted to highlight and that is the,search capability okay so so inside an,import configuration right which we went,through last week the top half of this,form actually defined where what file,I'm going to use what table I'm going to,be loading the assets table it's dbid,Etc right,um,but now at the bottom which I didn't,explain last week is is search some,search capability which you can Define,as part of the Imports so say you wanted,to grab information from another from,this what you wanted to grab or or,search within the same table my my,assets table or another table say say uh,my test table and I want to search that,table all right and for each row that,I'm going to be importing in you use use,the data from that import search or,search some information from this other,table say and pull that field into the,into the import so it's included as part,of the import so not only are we going,to be moving all our information from,this spreadsheet but we're going to be,pulling uh some

EZ LCMS Importing Users Tutorial

hello my name is Jessie and today I will,be showing you how to import users if,you are using the system for internal,training in most cases you will use the,import users function to load all of,your employees via a spreadsheet if you,are selling courses then you will be,setting up your brand to allow users to,register themselves the import process,is very straightforward but allows you,to perform several steps all at once,let's take a look at what importing,users can do for us first log in and go,to the right side of the screen and,select the drop-down menu admin users,once there you will see a box labeled,import users click this box,you will be brought to a page with a,list of instructions and a picture of an,example excel template notice the,different column header names the first,four are straightforward but let's talk,about some specifics of the others,status the status will almost always be,lowercase a when importing but you can,import some historic data and make the,users inactive upon importing by using a,lowercase I here matching the case is,very important groups you can have the,import create groups for you if name of,the group does not already exist in the,system then it will be created here you,can also put the user in multiple groups,by using a comma separated list be,careful though group a and group a one,with the lowercase a and the other with,the capital a would be two different,groups and it would create both if you,decide to use a comma separated list be,sure here that there are not spaces,before or after the comma manager groups,you can also assign managers to groups,although you still may want to adjust,their specific capabilities in the,system on their profile page for the,user to be the manager of multiple,groups you can also use a comma,separated list here importing criteria,criteria is information that you would,normally collect about a user on their,registration page you can use text,fields drop-down lists radio button and,check box types of entry for instance,criteria one maybe the company location,that the employee is stationed at you,would likely want this to be a drop-down,menu so that the employees are not,typing many different values via text,entry field for this example if you,imported 20 different locations the,system would create that list in the,system for future users to select for,the system to know what information is,stored in these columns we must tell it,before we import the users now let's go,create some criteria,navigate to the admin slash users page,again and select the Edit user criteria,click the add new criteria button after,clicking the create new criteria button,we will enter a name for the field we,are creating determine if that field is,required or not when importing the,system it cannot require the field to be,completed but if you create a new user,directly in the system it will be,required indicating if this field should,be available to us when creating a,certificate of completion this field is,

Importing and Exporting Information

hello this is Mike from ez arms keeper,and in this video we will be discussing,how to import and export information for,your business using ez arms keeper meet,tom he just moved to ez arms keeper from,using Excel to manage his bound books,and the inventory which has worked but,it's not great because it does not allow,for multiple people to work on it at,once and does not contain the ability to,do 4473,let's walk through a quick way for Tom,to import the existing bound book data,into ez arms keeper from Excel by going,to file import acquisitions dispositions,he then selects the file that he has,been working with that he has previously,converted to data to the EZ arms keeper,CSV format by clicking Open File then,navigating to the correct location and,clicks open he can now see every,acquisition and disposition that he has,made he then clicks import data notes,that they are all successful and then,checks dispositions find dispositions as,Tom had only done a couple of,dispositions before moving to EZ arms,keeper by clicking find and not entering,a specific serial number it now displays,a lot of dispositions that his system,did not have previously success a few,months later tom is getting a large,shipment of guns from a distributor he,needs to do a mass import of firearms,before he starts the import he goes to,reports per an inventory he can see that,he only has a few items in his inventory,and very few contacts contacts find,contacts find and cancelled he now,imports the CSV that the distributor,sent to him he goes to file import,acquisitions he selects the file that,the distributor gave him by clicking,open file then navigating to the correct,location and clicks open,it can now see all of the incoming,firearms he then clicks import data as,show notice the status area located here,shows the status of that import,fortunately in this case they are all,successes he verifies this by going to,reports current inventory and notes that,the weapons have been added to his,inventory one particularly nice thing,about doing it like this is that if the,contact from the acquisition is not,already in the system it will,automatically add them so it is a good,idea to make sure that their information,is up-to-date and accurate Tom's,business has grown and he is now able to,bring on a full-time gunsmith tom has,created a new bound book for gunsmithing,but he does not want to have to enter,all the contacts from his main book into,his new gunsmithing book so instead,first Tom exports the contacts from his,main book by going to file export,contacts he chooses the name of the file,the location to save and then click Save,he then imports the contacts into his,gunsmithing book by going to file import,contacts he goes to open file opens the,file then clicks import data all the,contacts from the main book he exported,are now indeed new gunsmithing book,contacts as noted by this successful,number it is tax season and Tom needs to,get his information to the accountant to,make sur

EZ LCMS Importing User Data Tutorial

hello my name is Jesse and today I'll,show you how to import data to the LMS,this process is used so that your,training records can be accessed in one,place if you have courses in the system,that acquire users to recertify at some,point this process will acknowledge that,process and assign them the training,when it is time for the import to,associate users with the proper training,the course and the user must already,exist in the LMS,once logged into the lc/ms go to the,right drop-down bar click admin and then,select users you'll be brought to this,page where you can import an historical,course enrollment data quick quiz - or,false importing data is useful because,this is where you can upload a specific,criteria that you previously made in,Excel for your specific students false,that is a user upload process this,process is about loading historical,course completion data,kahlan a should be an email or user ID,this is required if the user is not,found in the LMS a record will indicate,a user not found and the log file,generated at the conclusion of the,import process column B should be the,course name and this is required as well,the imported course name in the,spreadsheet in the course name and the,LMS must match exactly for it to be,found and created properly if it is not,a record will be left in the log file,identifying it as course not found,column C should be one of the indicated,acceptable status values this is case,sensitive so be careful to match it,exactly this is a required field to the,acceptable status values are passed,completed not attempted failed and,incomplete column D should be a score,and this is an optional input this score,should be a number only and the system a,score is a percentage but do not include,the percentage symbol in the import,column e should be a completion date and,this is optional this field should be,included if the course is past failed or,completed so that proper system,functionality is maintained for instance,if a course needs to be taken each year,and I am importing as completed but do,not include a completion date an,automatic enrollment cannot happen,because the system would not know when,to enroll a user column F should be the,time spent and this is an optional input,this is a seldom used input but if you,want to compare the average time it,takes to complete a course you should,include it here so that the data is,available,in Excel create a spreadsheet and make,the first row your header as in the,example complete the table as necessary,to import your data once all of the,users and the required fields have been,entered delete the top row of criteria,if this row is not deleted it will make,for an incorrect import into the lcms,shift all the data upper row by,selecting the entire top row,right-clicking and selecting delete,when adding the date to your Excel,document make sure it is in the correct,format please note that the year needs,to be four digits PowerPoint will,automatically make the year two digits,w
