hi i'm ray from the easy appointment,booking app this app is the fastest way,to turn your shopify products into a,bookable service or event so let's get,started and i'll show you how to set,things up,i have my sample store here i'm creating,consultation calls and this does not,have the app yet as you can see it's the,normal add to cart button and i'm going,to show you how to set this up,if i go to my shopify admin and click on,the easy appointment booking app this is,the first screen i see i can create my,first event select the product and take,bookings for all my products appear here,i'll select the product that i want to,turn into an event,and now i can set things up,in this workflow,i do a few things first i'm going to set,up my availability,so here's when i'm available i'll say my,first name is ray,and this is ray's default schedule i can,change my email or phone number if i if,i wish,by default it shows nine to five in my,time zone let's say i'm not available,wednesdays and thursdays i want to take,bookings up until 8 pm,maybe i have an override date i'm not,available on monday the 27th i can go,ahead and do that,connecting your google calendar actually,lets you sync all of your bookings to,your personal google calendar or,business google calendar and allows you,to also block out any personal events,i'll show that in a separate video,click save,that will be the one selected for this,event,now i can set my duration attendees and,buffer time i want this to be 60 minutes,one person's enough and i want a 30,minute buffer so every time a booking,comes in the next booking won't be until,30 minutes later,notes location and links appear for your,customers in the email if there's any,notes you can share them here,looking forward,to seeing your shopify store there's no,location for my event because it's,online in which case i do have a google,meet event,i'll add here,you can create start and end dates for,your specific event uh i don't have a,specific start date but i will set an,end date,for january 30th so that i don't take,bookings after january 30th if i need,lead time i can select that here as well,so let's say i don't want anyone to book,appointments with me,up until 12 hours until the next,available time so if the time right now,is 3 39 pm i can't take a booking for,the next 12 hours to give me some lead,time so i'm not caught off guard,custom questions are available which i,can show in a separate video that lets,customers answer any specific questions,they have with you,before they meet with you,i'm going to show it in a monthly,calendar view rather than week by week,and for notifications we by default send,the confirmation emails if you'd like in,our paid plans you have our automatic,reminders and thank you so you don't,have to lift a finger when reminding,your customers and thanking them for,attending your event,once i click save,now my event's created i can view it in,my store,now my add to cart button has been,turned into a selected time b

How To Build a Simple Appointment Booking App (Mongo, Express, Angular, Material)

in this tutorial we're going to make a,simple appointment bookings application,using a back-end API and angular with,some material design components on the,front-end hi this is James from Genie,developer central and welcome to this,full stack application tutorial if you,have a second before we start don't,forget to subscribe to support the,channel and so you don't miss out on any,future tutorial updates so we'll just,give you a quick overview of what we'll,be building in this tutorial as you can,see we just got a simple form setup here,and it's used to book appointments just,asking the user to enter a date and,their name an email address and there is,also a second side to this application,where there's a kind of an,administration panel that lists I all of,the appointments have already been,booked in so let's go ahead and create a,booking and using the material design,components with angular we can just get,a nice date picker where we can pick a,particular date for our appointment and,then if we just enter a name and a test,email address when we click make,appointment you can see we've given a,notification that the appointments been,booked and our form has been reset and,if we go to the list of appointments in,our administration table you can see,we've got that appointment listed with,all the details that we entered and,we've also got a button where we can,cancel out to actually remove it from,the table and again we get notification,that that successfully happened so,pretty simple there is just one other,thing where we're going to reject any,duplicates appointments for the same day,so we were only really setting at one,appointment per day so try and book an,appointment for exactly the same day,doesn't matter too much about the name,and the email address you can see we're,given a notification that that's,actually not possible to book an,appointment on that date so there's,obviously lots of scope to improve this,application but the idea behind the,tutorial really is just get you used to,a few back-end crud operations working,with a few different HTTP verbs and also,getting used to using the material,angular components so that's the quick,demo over with let's go over to Visual,Studio code where we'll start coding,this application up,so over in Visual Studio code we're,going to start by setting up our project,and we'll just make two directories the,first one's going to hold our API and,the other one is going to hold the,angular app and we'll go and set up the,API first and once that's up and running,and tested we'll start with the angular,app so I'm just using the Express,generator to set up our API and we don't,need anything too special for that and,I'll just install the dependencies so,that we've got everything ready to go,so I only need to install a couple of,extra dependencies for this tutorial,we're going to be using MongoDB to store,our appointment data and we'll also use,the Korres library just to make sure,that our cross-origin requests are,se

hi,i'm Conor Crowley and welcome to my,review of appointik,is a very simple diary management system,with,a sms and email feature as well so,really it's suitable for any business,that arranges appointments so whether it,be a hospital,or any healthcare business dentist,pharmacy,or so on or a hairdresser's or any sort,of accountant or,any consultancy business where,appointments are required,and clients need to be scheduled in and,so on so,essentially what appointed pro enables,you,is to annualise that license so you get,a one-time,license fee that will cover you for the,full 12 months,now what i'm going to do quickly is to,show you around the actual,dashboard and how the actual software,works it's very very straightforward,essentially it's a diary management,system with a an ability to also send,out emails and sms,so let's just have a quick look at that,now okay so here i am,in the actual diary system for appointed,um as you can see on the left-hand side,all the various different options,so the first thing that you would do is,when you log on to the system and,actually,um access the system first thing you,would need to do is actually set up your,business,um you can see i've just entered in,basic details you can then,enter your business uh contact details,and sort of opening hours address,and so on so very straightforward that,and days a week that you're actually,open,then the next thing to do is um actually,add in your service provider so i've put,in my own details here,but what you simply do is add in,for instance another service,provider called bill,okay just as an example and then you add,them and then they're in your system so,you have two service providers,then you have the different types of,appointments so,you know you've got an example here,haircut for instance so we could put,a general,checkup,and we can add that in as an option or,um,advanced um,advanced assessment just as an example,just so you have a rough idea so once,you have your various different,appointments,or types of appointments your actual,service provider so who will actually be,carrying out that,appointment and your business settings,you're then really pretty much ready to,start booking in appointments,so then what you do here is you go to,the left hand side and you go to,customers um and you,can for instance add a new customer and,it's very straightforward,um my new,customer called,adam as a just a random,name and then you can put their,telephone number um just as an example,and test,as an email address so you save their,changes so you can see there,the customer name telephone number and,email address,so very very straightforward then you go,to,appointment okay,um and i'll just delete that because,that's a,example so what you do is sorry let me,just delete that,what you can do there is so we have our,customer we can then just go book,appointment,um and you can choose as as and when you,actually want to,um book that appointment so,we can choose who the actual service,and then
