welcome back to the niftify masterclass,series where we provide step-by-step,guidance so that you can create your own,nft store and sell your nfts in no time,in this episode we'll talk about how to,add discount codes to your store with,niftify discount codes are classified,into public and private discount codes,which you can take advantage of to boost,the sales of your nfts,to create a new discount code in your,store first we'll need to head over to,discount and then click on create,discount code,in here put in the name of your,discounted code,make sure that there's no space between,characters in your discount code name as,this will be shown and used at checkout,in the value field below put in your,desired discount value,here we will go with a 50 discount,choose your discount type public,discount codes are automatically shown,during checkout and can be used by,anyone while private discount codes are,hidden and will need to be entered,manually by the buyer since we're,running a public campaign we'll go with,the public discount type here next set,up the code quantity for your entire,campaign duration,and the usage limit per customer,set your desired duration for this,discount code,before creating the discount code make,sure to review your discount code,information over in the summary section,if everything looks good to you head,down and click on create discount code,and the code should now be active and to,apply your newly created discount code,you'll need to apply it during the,process of putting your nfts on sale,like so,expand the more options section and,toggle discount code from off to on,select your discount code and click on,put on sale,now let's check it over on our,storefront,since we're using a discount code for,this nft the code is automatically,applied and visible to everyone so what,if we want to make it a private discount,code to do this we'll only need to,create a new discount code here we'll,differentiate this new discount code by,making it a 90 off one buyers will need,to manually enter our discount code in,order for it to be applied,make sure that you have discount type,set to private instead of public follow,the remaining steps as usual,and apply this discount code to a new,sales order,now let's check it over on our,storefront upon clicking on buy now you,can see here that there's no,pre-selected discount code and when we,put in 90 off our newly created discount,code is applied with the current amounts,and to check the performance of your,discount code head to your discount code,listing and discount,here you can see that our new discount,codes which are fifty percent off and,ninety percent off were applied one time,and have not been used this is because,in niftify discount codes are only,counted as used when customers have made,a successful purchase with the discount,codes and that's it for this tutorial,hopefully with discount codes you can,now launch more campaigns to incentivize,your buyers to make the purchase and,bring even

hello viewers welcome back,so this is part 7 of our,session on f12 configuration of,ledger masters from the playlist magic,of tally,now in the last session,we saw how you can handle different,method of discount,by creating a separate ledger called,discount,and,specifying the rate of discount that you,want to,provide so,we had mentioned about the percentage of,discount and how tally automatically,calculates the discount based on the,percentage that you have specified and,also we saw that,you can during the voucher entry in case,for that particular invoice you want to,provide discount at a lesser or at a,higher rate than the discount that you,have specified in the ledger master you,can go and modify now we will see,another use case,first let us try and discuss or,understand this use case so now this use,case is like this,let us say,you are,billing,multiple items,and for each item,you would want to,specify a different rate so which means,that you don't want to give a standard,discount of say five percent or ten,percent what we saw in the previous,session,but,uh each item you will decide okay item a,maybe you want to give five percent,discount,item b,maybe you want to give ten percent,discount for that particular item,and item c you don't want to specify any,percentage of discount for tally to,calculate but you want to give an,absolute value for discount,okay so how do we handle uh this kind of,a situation,so tally provides you an option to,handle this kind of a situation where,you can create a discount ledger and,specify,different discount rate or,absolute value of discount for each of,the item that you are billing in the,invoice and by selecting the discount,ledger that you have created tally will,automatically total,the discount that you have applied for,each of the item and the total will,capture,as a discount value so this way you can,handle multiple discount for multiple,item in a invoice so let us see,how can we handle this,scenario let us create,a,new discount ledger called,trade discount okay so i will go to,create,i'll select lecture and let's say uh we,will create a new lecture called trade,discount,okay now before we do this,uh,f12 configuration we will see what other,additional configuration that we can do,now this particular ledger that you have,created you can identify this ledger as,a discount ledger so that the moment you,identify this particular ledger as a,discount ledger whatever is the discount,that you have applied for each of the,item it will aggregate that value and,then it will capture in this particular,ledger so for that what do we do so you,have to use your f12 configuration here,with the show more configuration we have,this additional option called,select type of ledger for auto,calculation okay so you have to by,default this is going to be no so you,make this as yes okay and then you you,say control a,okay,now,i'm going to enter here okay indirect,expenses okay and,the discount see now by enabling that,option i now have

hello viewers welcome back,so this is part 5 of our f12,configuration,of masters,accounting masters lecture,as part of the playlist of,magic of tally,now,in this session we will be discussing,about,the various scenarios of discount that,the,different organizations,would want to handle,or offer to their customers,right so,what are the different kind of discounts,so one could be a cash discount or trade,discount,apart from that you would want to give,some kind of an additional special,discount so there are various,use case scenarios where,different organizations would want to,handle,the,management of discount in a different,way so we will see,broadly we will see three or four types,of scenarios of,handling of discount,in tally,and then whatever is the,appropriate,you know,option or feature,that you feel,that,is suitable for your organization,you could use this,so before,we go into the,f12 configuration of the ledger,configuration which,we,need to continue with the,more configuration options,uh,under the,features itself,you have uh an option where you can,enable a discount column,entirely and then you can provide,discount okay so we will see that first,which is the most simplest form of,handling discount and we will also see,what is the impact of,managing discount through those options,and,that will be a good you know foundation,for us to understand,how,we can manage our discount values and,the masters,suitably for,the requirement of,your organization so now entirely,let us see how we can enable,the simplest form of discount and we,will see by enabling and managing,discount,in that particular way what impact you,have on your books of accounts okay so,just remember enabling the feature is,f11 feature so press f11 and if you come,here,the option here is use discount,column in invoice so by default this,option is going to be no and,you have to just come here and then uh,enable this option to yes so you can,click here and then make this as yes,okay,okay so before before enabling this let,us go and see what what change we are,going to see right so i go to my voucher,entry now and you will see,that uh this is your sales invoice where,you have quantity rate and the amount,column which is what we have been seeing,all this while right so now i want to,enable uh i want to bring a discount,column so you don't have to go to,gateway of tally just,press f11 from here and then come here,and then make this option as,yes,control a,okay and now you will see,a new column,which gets,added in your invoice which is your,discount column where you can enter your,discount okay,so let's make one invoice,so i'm going to select a party,okay and then sales lecture i'm going to,select an item let us say i'm selecting,this dell,laptop i'm going to say one number okay,so the rate has come we have seen all,this now this is the extra,option that is going to come here,where you can specify what is the,percentage of discount that you are now,going to,allow so let us say just for easy,
