STOP Using Shopify Currency Converter Apps (Shopify Dropshipping)

hey how's it going everyone my name is,michael and today we're going to talk,about a big problem,using currency converter apps in your,shopify store,and why you might not want to use them,but before that i want to thank everyone,who has subscribed,liked and gave me some type of feedback,we passed over 100 subscribers which is,an amazing start,also if you haven't watched my first or,second video about conversion rate,optimization,on product pages and more then you can,watch them too,i'm sure you can also implement at least,one of the tips that i gave,i also got suggested how-to videos so,i'll get those done too,and i have another video planned about,car and checkout page optimization,and how to reduce abandoned cards and,more i know a lot of people who like to,sell the different countries like the us,canada uk and australia and they simply,just go to the shopify app store and,find a currency converter like this one,you might think it's a good idea because,the app says it'll automatically switch,the currency on the product page,to the customer's local currency but,this isn't a great idea,this isn't a great idea in my opinion,because yes it can switch to the,customer's local currency,but it won't convert on the checkout,page in fact,most currency converters from the,shopify app store won't convert,on the checkout page which is very,important because it's the money page,these apps will just put out a message,saying all orders process,process and usd for example and on the,checkout page,it just shows the default currency which,isn't good,this is why so many people who use,currency converter apps,see low conversion rates many at the,cards below sales,abandoned carts and more these customers,may get confused or,don't trust the store anymore so what's,the best solution for this,well the only way that i know of is,using multi-currency with shopify,payments,within your settings and you'll just,need to add the countries and uh,settings for this so for example i,already have canada uk,so after adding all the countries in you,just need to get the geolocation app,from the shopify app store and you'll,see a currency selector on the footer,or whatever you have it selected to so,let's select it to pounds,and it'll automatically convert the,price and,keep in mind that this is a demo store,so the product page and car page and,check i was not optimized at all,but i'll leave a link on the top of my,video about,product page optimization and i give,eight tips,on about how to increase conversion,rates on a product page,so let's click check out and the price,will automatically stay in,in pounds so the customer will pay in,their local currency,and will have no friction or no problems,now if you don't have access to shopify,payments,then the second best option would be to,delete the currency converter app,and just leave your prices as default so,if you,if you have your default for usd just,just leave it at that here's an example,from a person that helped on their store,i s

Build A Currency Converter In React

hello everyone in this video we're gonna,tackle a beginner react project which is,going to teach you everything you need,to know about props state management and,hooks and react so this is a great,project to get started on welcome back,to web dev simplified my name is Kyle,and my job is to simplify the web for,you so if that sounds interesting make,sure you subscribe to my channel for,more videos just like this one now to,get started I have the finished version,of our product over on the right-hand,side of our screen and on the Left I,have the basic implementation of create,react app and to get all of this code,all you need to do is create a folder,that has no uppercase and no spaces in,it and then you run the command npx,create react app with a period at the,end and that will create all of these,files that you see on the left hand side,here inside of your folder and if you,get an error for example that says npx,not defined just make sure that you,update npm because that's how you are,able to use npx and this takes a little,bit to run which is why I did it to,begin with and now the first thing that,I want to do is to remove all the files,that we don't need for example we have a,bunch of files in our source and in our,public folder that we're never going to,actually use the public folder we can,just leave as is for now that's fine but,instead of our source let's remove all,these extra files for testing for,example we're not gonna worry about that,we don't need this logo that's the react,logo we don't need a serviceworker and,we don't need to set up our test so,let's delete all of those and then,inside this index j/s we got rid of the,serviceworker so we'll get rid of this,serviceworker code we also can get rid,of this import for the serviceworker and,this CSS file here which we deleted all,we want is this single render for our,app then in the app dot CSS let's just,remove all of the CSS we don't want,anything in there and in our app jeaious,we can get rid of this logo since we're,no longer importing that logo we can,also get rid of all of this HTML in our,return and we're just going to write out,our own h1 that just says hello world,and now if we run our application by,running NPM start it's going to take a,little bit to start up but then you can,see over here our application is going,to open up and we,should have a single h1 that says hello,world inside of our application and once,that finishes loading you can see we get,a single h1 that says hello world and if,we change our CSS and here to make our,body have a background color of red for,example you can see that translates over,into our actual application so our CSS,is hooked up to our application our HTML,we can load in here inside of our app,component and it will render inside of,our web browser so this means that we,have everything we need done so that we,can actually start building the currency,conversion app that we want to build and,I have this app right over here I'm,going to kind of show

Real-Time Currency Converter in Excel | Multiple Currencies | Web Query & Currency Data Type Methods

in this video we're going to look at,creating,real-time currency conversions,we'll look at two methods,the first method will work if on the,data tab,of excel you have this data types,gallery,the second method will work in older,versions of excel now i'll leave a link,in the description of this video to both,methods just to help you navigate,through this video,okay let's start off with the latest way,to,do currency conversions that's in excel,365.,what you would need to do is start off,with your currency pairs,so these are all the,potential conversions i want to do so,you need the three letter abbreviation,for each currency,paired together with the currency you,want to convert it to,then what you do is you select those,currency pairs,data tab of your ribbon,and the data types gallery,if you have currencies in this list,click on that otherwise just click on,stocks,and what it will do is it gives you this,little icon against each of the currency,pairs,you'll get this little add column button,now the first column you want to add,will be price,so that's your conversion,then you want to add,from currency,then add,currency,now these currency conversion rates will,update automatically,if you right click,on one of these currency pairs go to,data type refresh settings,over on the right here,if i expand,the stocks section,you can see it's going to automatically,refresh every five minutes,you could also say that you only wanted,to refresh when the file opens or that,you only want to refresh manually we'll,keep it at this setting automatically,refreshing every five minutes,okay so that's all you need to do with,your currency pairs on a separate sheet,i set up this little table and what i,need is some drop down lists of the,different currencies one drop down list,for the from column and then also for,the two column,to do that i'll create the,values for the drop down list on a,separate sheet i'm going to use the,unique function to extract,the unique currencies from my currency,pair sheet,so i'll take that from,either of these columns doesn't matter,either the from currency or currency,columns close the bracket there press,enter,and then if i wanted them in,alphabetical order,i could put unique within the sort,function,so then back to the currency converter,for these two cells here on the data tab,of my ribbon i'm going to the data,validation button,allow a list,source,will be,on the drop-down demo sheet,a2,hash,refers to the spilled array of unique,values,and now i have a drop down list in each,of these so i can choose euro there,and say,great british pound there,now i'm going to put my amount in that i,want to convert so so it was 500 euros,and i want to convert it to,great british pounds,so to do that i can use x lookup,lookup value will be,this value,concatenated,with this value,comma,lookup array will be the,from column,i can select that up there,concatenated,with the,currency column,comma return array,will be the price column,close the bracket press enter,
