How to do stocktaking? | ConnectPOS Point Of Sale

hi there welcome back to connectpos the,tutorial today is about how to install,and use the stock tick features in the,connectpos dashboard stay tuned,the first part will begin with how to,install the stoptake feature into the,pos system step one login into,connectpos account,next choose the outlet location and the,needed registration,step 2 select the setting in the top,left button on dashboard,on the setting dashboards click module,to install the module scroll down to the,bottom and you will find the stock take,feature,click install to integrate the feature,into the pos system,come back to the cell screen you will,find the stock take has been launched,inside the top left button that is how,to install the stock take features into,the dashboards,before making any stock take please,remember to close the shift of your,employees if you do not close the shift,the process will not start,move along to the second part of this,tutorial how to use the stock tape,features,when you have closed the shift come back,to the dashboards and click on the top,left button and click the stock take,button to start the process,step one click on the plus button near,the searching bar to make a new stock,take which displays on the right hand,side,when you create a new stock tape you can,easily adjust the name date of the stock,take,the location will be fixed as the,location of the warehouse,you can search for a product by name id,sku barcodes or even tags to add items,that need to be counted,also add as many products as you want in,one stock take when you finish selecting,products click save to move to the next,parts,step 2 click start count to do the stock,take,enter the actual number of your stocks,in the warehouse to the count box and,select count,you can modify the counted number as,many times as you want until they're,correct,also you can take notes about the stock,take in the note box,when you click reviews the status will,be in process and it will display the,location of the warehouse the date and,the employees who have been making this,stock tape,also it will have a detailed box that,shows the differences between the,expected the counted numbers as well as,the cost differences,note to complete the stock take process,you must count all the products you have,selected,when data is all correct click complete,and the stock takes status will change,from in progress to completed which will,be displayed on the left menu,in the stocktake control panel the menu,on the left corner will display three,specific working areas included,searching bar on the top you can easily,search for any stock take that has been,made on the paw system,below the searching bar is the date that,you want to make a stock take and you,can easily adjust to find the one at,stocktake,below the date is the status of the,stock take which is pending in progress,completed and cancelled,in case you want to cancel the stock,tick process come back to step two above,instead of clicking review just need to,click

to get started with connectpos the first,thing you need is your username and,password,after installation an email will be sent,to your inbox,which includes your username and,password reset link,with the same username and password you,can log in to connect pos main account,which is retail.connetpose.com user,management system,me.connetpose.com and reportsystem,which is daily.connetpose.com,here is the list of your outlet and,register,you can click directly on the register,to start selling,but we recommend you to take a look at,the outlet and register settings before,getting started,for each outlet you have options to,enable or disable outlet and adjust,outlet information or outlet,configuration,for outlet configuration warehouse is,equal to location in your shopify admin,when assigning a warehouse to an outlet,the outlet will display only products,from this specific warehouse,register represents individual cash,registers in your store,you have an option to add new registers,you can also click the registers to,check and adjust its settings,to get started from the settings menu,click back,then select the register you are working,on,in the cell screen you are supposed to,see all products from the warehouse that,was assigned to the outlet,you can view products as a list or grid,you can also search,products by their name sku barcode,number,you can also scan products to add them,directly to the cart,custom sale is for the case you need to,sell something that is not yet available,but before you can start a new order,make sure you open a shift,enter the current amount of cash in your,cash register and confirmation note,then save it after opening a shift,you can start selling let's create a new,order,click or scan a product to add it into,the cart,connectpos allows you to adjust product,prices apply discounts,and decide whether you want to charge,tax for the order or not,after confirming the payment amount,click pay to continue,connectpos is also integrated with,popular payment gateways,like authorize.net tyro card knocks,select the payment method and hit,complete to finish the order,once the order is completed you'll be,able to view and print receipts,all orders created in connectpos are,stored inside the order list,except orders that have been archived,you need to make sure your shopify,online store does not automatically,archive orders,to check this from your shopify admin go,to settings,checkout order processing,then make sure automatically archive,order is unchecked,you can do many things in connect passes,order list,the search online box allows you to view,orders made in your online store,for each order you can view order,information and payment details,you can print receipts you also have an,option to issue a refund for the order,for a refund order by default items are,automatically restocked to your,inventory,you can disable restocking by unchecking,the restock box,refund amount is automatically,calculated you can also add a new item,into the cart,

A Quick Demo for BigCommerce POS by ConnectPOS

How to Setup POS System

okay first step is to make sure you,place your cash drawer into a flat,surface next step take your printer and,place it next to your cash drawer then,we want to take this end of your cable,and plug it in right here next step is,to take your scanner and place it on the,opposite end of your cash drawer next,step you take your power cord to your,printer has this end on it then plug it,in to the back of your fan make sure the,flat surface is facing down and plug it,in a show next step grab your monitor,and place it on top of the POS you then,want to remove the screw remove this,screw to open up the panel to run your,cables through alright now that I have,my back off I can start running the,cables through the bottom of your,monitor I'm gonna take,my printer cable we're not to the bottom,and run it to the top run it through the,space right here I'm then gonna take the,cord from the scanner and do the same,thing ran to the bottom and run it,through the gap I've seen I will then,take the power adapter to the monitor,take the USB ports of the printer and,the scanner and hook it in to the left,side make sure your cords are plugged,into the left side of your monitor then,you're gonna take the power cord plug it,in as shown once you have these three,chords in you want to put your palm,bracket back on and tighten it,it doesn't have to be too tight just a,little snug then flip your screen over,and run your core when your tables,behind here versus the opening alright,we are now ready to plug in the printer,in the monitor make sure you plug it,into a power surge next step is to plug,your phone cable into the back of the,printer that's shown now the next step,is to turn on the equipment and make,sure everything turns on properly in,your final step is to turn on the,equipment and make sure everything,powers up properly

QuickBooks Point of Sale - Connect POS to QB 2017

in this video we're going to go through,how to connect a point of sale,data file,to a quickbooks financial data file so,this is when we're using a brand new,quickbooks file,so the first thing that we're going to,do is make sure that we have a company a,couple,of uh preferences updated in quickbooks,financials so we're going to click on,that,company file we want to make sure we,have it open first off,then we're going to come over here to,file,edit preferences,and then we want to turn on,inventory and purchase orders,and then also go ahead and set up sales,tax,so if we are going to be collecting,sales tax we want to make sure that,we're collecting that as well,i'm going to go ahead and add a new,sales tax item,glad to get that configured,actually we have taxable non-taxable if,we pay,monthly quarterly or annually we've got,all that configured correctly and i'm,just going to say okay,once we've got those two turned on we're,going to come back over into point of,sale,and again we want to make sure we have,that quickbooks uh financial data file,open that we want to connect point of,sale to,and you can see in my let me switch back,to quickbooks for just a second i've,just got a couple of accounts set up,here so this is a brand new quickbooks,file and it's just got the regular,default accounts that it automatically,creates when i start a new quickbooks,data file,so i wanted to show that to demonstrate,the accounts that will be added during,the initial setup so over here under,file back in point of sale i'm going to,go to preferences and company,and then i'm going to click on financial,and i just want to check the box for use,with financial software and it will go,ahead and start this with connection,wizard,so then i just want to click next here,i've already got quickbooks open like i,was saying before we've got to have that,quickbooks file open,and i'm just going to say next,and then we can see here that it's now,connected to that quickbooks file,now a couple of preferences over here on,financial we want to make sure that it's,going to default to send detailed item,descriptions which is going to really,bog down,that quickbooks data file we've got all,that detail over here in point of sale,so the recommended option is to choose,either option two or three under here so,i'm just going to go ahead and choose,option two for right now that will just,send summarized information over to,quickbooks financial instead of all that,detail because we've got the detail in,point of sale so i'm just going to click,save here,now it's going through and updating,those accounts over in quickbooks so if,i look back,my account list,i can see the accounts that were added,or created,to my quickbooks data file,with that initial sync to point a sale
