Excuse me.,You know, if I had been driving,,that would've been pretty dangerous.,Every time you sneeze,,your eyes close for about one second,,which means if you sneeze while driving at, say,,70 miles per hour times 5,280 divided by 60 divided by 60,,you will travel about 103 feet with your eyes closed.,But don't worry.,This is a self-driving car.,It uses sensors and software to drive itself,to keep me and other people safe.,I hope.,Impressive. Eco Friendly Recycled Biodegradable Packaging for Your Etsy Store

hey everyone today I'm gonna be talking,about responsible ecommerce packaging,I've had an Etsy shop for about four,years when I first started I had one,product and not very many sales so,packaging wasn't a huge concern at sign,passed by I added different products,that require different packaging and I,also had more sales this is all made me,think about my responsibilities as a,shop owner and the waste that I'm,creating by sending all my products to,my customers so now I'm trying to be,more responsible with my packaging and,sourcing out eco friendly mailers and,tape and fillers so that it's not a huge,impact on the environment so I'm going,to show you what I've purchased to use,for my packaging how much it cost me and,a little bit more about the items I have,two main ways of packaging the first one,is for my stamps so instead of a bubble,mailer or a polly mailer I've bought,these 100% recycled padded mailers,they're not like the bubble mailer but,they are still really thick and really,padded I got these from eco and closed,com+,pretty much all the rest of the stuff -,a couple things their stuff is really,affordable and they do ship - I live in,Canada so they do ship to Canada as well,of course as the US the shipping can be,expensive it's not a flat fee shipping,they do it based on weight so if you add,more items to your cart things shipping,is going to go up and so what I did was,I contacted a couple other shop owners,and asked if they wanted to get in on,the shipping cost together to make it,cheaper so I did that to make it a,little less expensive but there was,duties when it arrived wasn't too crazy,expensive but something to keep in mind,so they have - they have it in three,sizes,six by nine and a half by eleven and ten,and a half by fifteen I got the six by,nine because I was using six by nine,bought four but these seem to fit a,little snugger because they're a little,bit more padded so I think I'm gonna,have to also get the larger size bundle,of ten works out it's about $4.50 us for,the six by nine which comes out to about,forty five cents per envelope and then,to put my stamp into a plastic bag I,kind of like to put it in something,rather than just throwing the stamp by,itself in the bag I bought the used,third friendly recycled plastic seal,bags so these are made from 100%,recycled caught our content and they can,be recycled as well the a bundle of 200,of these is 875 works out to about five,cents per bag they have the adhesive on,the top they are six by eight so I just,throw it in the bag fold it over,seal it shut and then I put my label on,here the label is also recycled and I,got these from pure labels com it's $20,for 500 labels or it could be much,cheaper if you go and get the one-inch,label so for these it works out to about,25 cents per label and I print on them,using my home computer and the Avery,label settings so for the padded mailers,I brand mine by using a stamp that I,have and I also sell these logo stamps,in my Etsy shop so I

Some American cities have buses.,Some use trams and trains. And there's one...,that uses golf carts.,- My name is Vanessa Fleisch,and I am the mayor of Peachtree City, Georgia.,It's a small city of about 35,000 people that is about 20 minutes south of Atlanta.,It's asphalt paths, we have over 100 miles of them.,They range from 8 feet to 10 feet wide in some places.,They're used for golf carts mostly.,We have over 11,000 registered golf carts in the city.,Obviously, pedestrians, bicyclists, all kinds of traffic is on these paths.,Morning!,- You do have to register them? - Yes, you do.,The people in the city do register them.,- There's someone else approaching us now. I assume it's like regular roads.,You pass on the right and...,- Correct. - Yeah?,- Yeah. - It's a parallel road network, basically.,- The majority of the city is accessible by carts,and that's a huge attraction because parents,can pick up their kids at school if they want to.,- And some of the kids can drive themselves?,- Yes, the younger kids or the sophomores at the local high schools are allowed,with their learner's permit to drive their carts to school.,- Wow.,- It's a bit of freedom that they enjoy.,- And I guess if it's limited to 20 miles an hour,,there's less of a chance of a bad bump.,So, this is the high school.,- This is.,There's parking at the high school for 615 carts.,- That is a lot of golf carts. Do all the students leave at once here?,Is it just a traffic jam of golf carts?,- It is a traffic jam of golf carts and it's not always pretty.,- Some of them have a limiter?,- They do, but sometimes they can be removed,and they go faster than they should, which isn't good.,- No, that's exactly what I'd have done at age 15 with my own golf cart.,I would have removed the limiter on it.,- Some of the carts have heaters inside them and radios.,You can soup them up as much as you want really.,After they saw the popularity in the '70s what they did,was they required, whenever there was a new subdivision of houses built,,that they connected the paths.,For the most part, the cart paths are laid out,at the same time they lay out the roads.,- So, what are the road rules here?,It's like you're in a regular vehicle,,you've just got more paths that you can go on?,- Yes, and if there is no path,,you are allowed to be on the road, but that's why,we've expanded the paths because we're trying,to keep people off of them as much as possible.,Sometimes people who have never been here have been caught,on cart paths with their cars,thinking that that's the right thing to do. - Wow!,- I wanted to take you through a drive-thru. hello guys this is B'Elanna from comic,cosplay and today is my birthday,I'm turning today 34 and well since I'm,now so good and twice and I'm cosplaying,actually now for 17 years this is like,this is probably like longer than you,were on the planet like I know what if,floppy diskettes,I existed before the internet I know how,walkman looks like so yes I'm the living,proof that even very very old people can,costly just like me and well since I'm,so wise I want to give something to the,younger generation just before I died,like two people who are like sweaty free,and well so today I'm giving ten tips on,how to become more eco-friendly with,cosplay I mean let's be honest cosplay,is not the most eco-friendly,hobby I mean you know like at the,beginning you order some materials,probably from the other end of the world,to create something often it's even,something that is just pretty and you,but even don't need at the end like you,create a lot of waste while working with,the material and it's often even toxic,and cannot be recycled and then you also,fly to the convention just wear this,costume for a single day and then you,have no idea what to do with it and all,of this creates a lot of waste,needs a lot of energy and produce a lot,of co2 which is not that nice this,doesn't mean that you have to stop with,cosplay it's such an amazing hobby and I,love it just as much as you do,but there are plenty of easy ways to,avoid you know all these things and,becomes a little bit more eco-friendly,so let's start number one shop smart,so in general cosplayers buy a lot of,stuff just because it's pretty because,they just need it for something in the,near future maybe or just because they,want it and you know all this stuff just,piles up over the years,this is not release much so if you're,planning a costume and go on a shopping,tour really buy only that stuff you need,for this specific costume and nothing,else I for example have samples of each,fabric I own in a sample collection so,when I go for shopping I just check out,my collection and can see directly if I,already own this fabric and if I really,really need it another way to do this my,shopping is actually to ordering basic,materials you need for plenty of,projects earn big orders for example,wobbler evie a foam primers clues all,that stuff you need for variants of,different costumes it actually really,makes sense to make one light order,which you might even share with your,friends I for myself I make one single,order in half a year of EBA form and I,even have flex bond is a huge 10 liter,bottle which I just used to fill up my,smaller bottles so I can keep priming,all my projects in I think the last,three years actually number to donate,old materials of course it's almost,impossible to use up everything you,bought and you will always have some,left over fabrics or in simply some,beads or other materials you don't need,but instead of just piling this up for,years and just storing it in your,workspace you can actua
