Catalog Machine's NEW APP - How to Easily Manage and Import Products for your Catalog

hey guys this is Paul today I want to,show you the new user interface of,catalog machine,right now you're looking at the sign-in,page of the new website and if you,notice you can still use sign in with,Google and Facebook but I'm going to use,my email address in here and I'm going,to type in my password,there we go,now here's the dashboard and let's check,out what's new,okay so we have like a preview and,products and images right here and it,shows how many products we have how many,images we have,and the categories as well and of course,the limit,and we do have quick action so it's,it's basically a shortcut,and we have this small drop down button,here where we can see manage account and,logout,and let's check out the products tab,right now,so here we can see all the categories,that we have,I'm gonna try to select something here,if I hover my mouse into,any categories you can see this small,pencil icon on the right side of it,and if you click this you can easily,edit,the category,so you don't have to go to,different pages just to edit the,categories we have it all in here,product fields,and variant options now to edit this you,just have to double click it,same thing here,so if you hover your hover your mouse,and any products you can see this very,small pencil icon and this three little,dots right here this is for adding the,variants,so you can use this or you just click,this,to edit,the actual product so,there we go,if you notice the description I mean the,the text editor is quite new,let's try out here,if you click description,this will pop up,so this is the new text editor so if you,see it's really quite easy to use,because you can choose,the font right here,font size,text color and so on so what's new is,this text background color,so it's pretty cool,let's try it out,so if you want to change the background,color of,any text,see,so you can do that and just hit save,pretty cool right so I can definitely,use this to add more design,to the catalog so,let's check something else,the bulk edit,so if you click this box right here to,select all the products you have,you can now bulk edit other product,fields,like price description,stock quantity so this is very helpful,so the other way to do this is to,download it,export all your products via CSV and,then just bulk edit it right there but,right now you can do it right here so,you don't have to export all your,products so you can add stock quantity,change the price if your product has the,same pricing you know,and so on so you can also I mean you can,still do the other stuff of course like,change category,move it to collection,still there and just hit update products,after that,if you notice right here even if we can,edit all the uh categories here we still,have this categories tab under products,let's check it out,so here you can see all the information,that,the specific category has,for example,appliances as description image price,and points so these are,the product fields that I have so if you,click

hi everyone in this video i would like,to show you how to create a machine,catalog,so machine catalog is,basically a group of desktop operating,systems or server operating systems,so,in order to create machine catalog you,need to click on create machine catalog,on citrix studio,this will take a while so please bear,with me,all right now you see this on the screen,it asks,it gives various details like machine,catalogs are collections of physical or,virtual machines that you assign to,users you create catalogs from master,image or physical machines in your,environment,all right so what i would like to do is,i'll go ahead go ahead and click next,okay so it gives you various options the,first one is server operating system,this could be,windows server 2012 2012 2016 2019,and the desktop os this could be windows,7 windows,8 windows 10,like that and remote pc access is you,have a feature where you can connect to,the,physical,machines which are in the data centers,or in the office,so this is another option so i in my,scenario i would select server os and,click next,okay so it is asking,whether the machines that are power,managed for example virtual machines or,blade pcs so,in my case it is the first option and it,is asking the deploying,machine method which is,citrix machine creation services in my,scenario and you also have an option,like citrix provisioning services and,also,any different service or service or,technology so citrix provisioning,services if you have heard about it it,is also a,technology where you can stream the,virtual,machines or desktops to the users over,the network so this is a very,interesting technology which i'm going,to talk about it in the coming videos,so for now i'm going to click next,all right now it,looks for the snapshot,or the image,all right so i have created citrix,windows server 2012 before,so the machine is ready so i will,go ahead and click next,all right now it asks like how many,virtual machines do you want to create,i i am okay with one virtual machine at,this point in time and it it asks like,how much memory you want to allocate for,this particular machine,so you can,give like 2gb or 4gb or depends upon,your requirement,and then,what you can do is you can,go ahead and click next,all right it is asking where do you want,to,put this machine in which are you,so i'm gonna select computers,and,i'll type vdi,z01,and click next,all right it is asking the name of the,machine catalog,so i will,mention it as financial,financial,team,server os,machine,something like that,okay it is asking machine catalog,description for administrators,so this is for administrators not for,the users i can just mention like,finance,department,users,okay so i will go ahead and click finish,and see how it goes before you click,finish you can just cross check so the,machine type is server os mission,management is virtual,provisioning method is mcs not pbs and,resources is india storage and you see,the master image name,so you can crosstrack al

Create a product catalog grid fast and easy

thank you,hi today I'm going to show you how to,create a product with fast and easy,of course we'll select the product with,click this and then hit select catalog,products,okay now in this page where you can see,all your products and select what you,wanted to include in this product read,keep in mind that you must create or,import your products first before,watching this video,if you can see on the right side I,already have all my products here and I,also have multiple categories,let's go ahead and add some products I'm,adding them one by one right now by,clicking this small add button here,now if you want to add a whole category,or whatever is in this side,just click this button right here,and once done,you can click this setup product grid,now in this page,you have an option to select the size of,your green,that's number one,this determines how many products you'll,have in one page,so right now,I'm gonna go ahead and try to,change the uh the grid size,it's two by three and this is three by,three so,I'm gonna go ahead and,select I guess three by three let's try,that,now number two,is the grid template,so the template that you select here,will apply to all of the products that,you have in this product with you can,easily edit this template,by pressing this pencil icon when you,hover your mouse in the template,click preview template right here to see,how it looks when you are editing the,template now on,the left side,this is where you can select an example,product when you are editing in this,case I prefer the actual product that I,have inside the grid which is this one,okay it's Waterman and here you can see,all the product fields that your product,has,and this uh and this side and you can of,course add any of them if you want so,this is a text box and to edit this just,simply click on it so you can remove,what's inside and you can also add,what you wanted to add so you can add,product Fields you can add custom text,as well,so here I'm going to show you how to do,that,so what I what I prefer is,one product field,per text box,so that I can I can have more control so,you can use this edit text in pop-up so,that you'll see,um you'll see it like this so it'll be,easier for you to edit it,now you can change the font name the,font color the font size and you can,choose the fields right in here,so you can also insert a link to a name,or any of the other product fields that,you have and then click save now we'll,hit preview and this is how it looks is,a product the image of the product and,you'll just the name so I'm going to,drag and drop this text boss right here,to add more product fields,so we'll just fix this and so by default,what you have is the name so just,edit text and pop up and select,any product field that you prefer in,here,so right now,um I want to add code,I'm going to change the size to 12.,and then hit save now you can of course,um if you click preview this is how it,looks so you,you need to resize this just click it,by The Edge and so

Part-8 Creating Machine catalog and Delivery Group

hello guys hope you are having a,fabulous,day and welcome back to another citrix,lab setup series and,in this video we are going to create a,mission catalog,and a delivery group so let's get,started,so this is my ctx core server where we,have installed all the core components,and i have opened my,citrix studio already so on the left,hand side,you can see machine catalogs app disk,delivery group,and many other options and our goal is,to create a mission catalog first,and then a delivery group so if you look,at the right hand side,you can see this action panel and here,click on create machine catalog,and yes introduction window click on,next,and in the operating system we have,given three options one is server os,desktop os and remote pc access,and server os is what we are going to,choose but other than that,we also do have desktop voice where we,can provision windows 10 or windows 7 or,any other operating system that you,would like,and in the remote pc access this is only,for the,physical machines that you have in your,office,but you still wanted to access it,through citrix,so for that we are using this remote pc,access,so let's click on started having server,os selected,next and uh our mission is not,power managed and neither we are using,mcs nor pvs,so i'm just gonna select another service,or technology,and click on next and the machines if,you have a bunch of machines you can,input the list from here,but for this lab setup you just have,only one vda,so i'm gonna select add computers,and my bda server name is just play,check names yep click ok,and next so let's,give the name ctx,ah once again,okay ctx hyphen lab,hyphen mc so mcs animation catalog so,i'm just keeping the same,and finish,okay now we have created the mission,catalog,with our newly created vda machine as,well,and usually uh in the summary page you,will see,all the details about the mission,catalog and what are the missions that,is part of the smashing catalog,and who are the admins and from the,right hand side if you want to add more,machines you can click on admissions,and same like before you can import the,list or add computers from here,and if you click on edit mission catalog,you can just,change the description of the mc,and the emissions will show you uh the,existing machines just like,you uh saw from here and you can delete,mission catalog or rename mission,catalog from this page,so we are done with the mission catalog,so let's move on to delivery groups,and on the right hand side from the,action panel click on,create delivery group,so the introduction window we can skip,this,and the machines so what are the,machines which are available from the,machine catalog,which will be shown here along with the,name,the type and how many missions and in,case you have,two machines available in the machine,catalog you can,increase one to two,but we just have only one machine so,let's click on next,and the users you can allow any,authenticated users,or restrict use of the delivery group to

Create Machine Catalog and Delivery Groups with Citrix XenApp 7.6 [Part 2]

hey guys welcome back to brown from the,BTN HD and another citrix video it's,basically a continuation of part 1 a,couple of things that I did behind the,scenes which I'm going to go over with,you guys and I'm gonna do a couple of,things with you guys on this video so I,got my list of the stuff that I did and,also the stuff that I'm going to do a,few guys because you know I forget the,first things first I think in the last,video my store my storefront website I,did as a HTTP and it wasn't working,because I didn't have an SSL certificate,and that's on XenApp 0 to I have it up,and running running HTTPS and the way,that I did it is I went inside my I is I,went inside the node and within the node,I went to server certificates and I,created a self-signed certificate but,most likely you guys can purchase the,SSL and just important inside you I is,and then once I created my self signed,certificate I went to the the default,website and I went into bindings and I,basically just added a type of HTTP port,443 because that's the port and I just,binded that SSL certificate to 443 and,eventually you have to restart your eye,is once you restart your eye is your,storefront is going to pick it up,automatically and that's when you get,that green checkmark awesome ah the next,thing that I did is I added another,server I added another Windows Server,2008 r2 into my infrastructure I call,the XenApp zero 3 and on this one I,already installed the VDA the virtual,delivery agent I'm going to be adding,that to the delivery controller pretty,soon I'm gonna be adding the XenApp 0 3,as well as our windows 7 machine and,then behind the scenes I install Chrome,putty and for view notepad plus plus,FileZilla and via cell because these are,the apps that I'm going to be publishing,pretty soon using this virtual machine,so what I'm going to do with you guys is,a couple of things,oh also within my Zen app 0 3 I also,install Remote Desktop Services because,it looks like this a certain way that,you have to install applications when,you are using a server so I'm going to,show you guys how to do that as well,what else what else what else also let's,get started so I'm going to show you,guys a couple of things so let's get,inside our Zen f01 and as you can see,there's three steps that you guys have,to follow in part one I did step one,which is pretty simple behind the scenes,I did part two machine catalog and I'm,going to do another one for you guys so,let's go inside machine catalog and then,from here we're just going to create a,machine catalog read this information is,a nice little introduction I'm going to,click on next I am going to do a server,OS my Windows 7 x64 was a desktop OS now,I'm going to be doing the server OS so,I'm actually going to be adding my,XenApp 0 3 on this so let's click on,next most likely when you guys get this,dialog box if you guys using like as in,server or a V spare or hyper-v kind of,infrastructure thing you're most likely,you're going to get this option but
