in this video we're going to see how to,process sales orders that have come down,from an integrated ecommerce store into,Brightpearl,so we'll place an order online paying by,credit card will see that order,downloaded into Brightpearl will fulfill,and ship the order and then we'll,invoice the order to complete it and,finally demonstrate some reports and,whilst will show this purely on a,Shopify store the principles also apply,to Magento be commerce ekm and any other,integrated e-commerce platform so here,we have an ecommerce store where we're,going to buy a big paddle with yellow,ends we're going to buy as a new,customer so that we see a contact record,created in Brightpearl CRM we're going,to ship to the same place as our billing,address and we're going to use a test,payment method that effectively,simulates a real credit card and then,place the order in Brightpearl,on the recent sales list we can see this,order from Ben Parker sat at the top of,our list we can see that the order has,been fully allocated by the fact that,it's got a green tick here which means,that all available inventory has been,allocated to this sale we can see the,sales channels order reference in this,case 1036 and we can see that the order,has been paid in full let's drop into,that order to have a look here's the big,paddle with yellow ends one has been,allocated to the order standard shipping,has been chosen by the sales channel the,channel is set up here on the right hand,side and the customer reference is the,sales channel order reference if you're,using multiple warehouses then each,channel can be set a warehouse to,allocate inventory from the next thing,we need to do is fulfill this sales,order to create a shipment or a Goods,out note so we'll go fulfil and ship,later if we only wanted to ship half of,the items on the sale we could use this,partial or advanced fulfillment screen,but we know everything's in stock so,we'll go fulfill and ship late,this creates a good zero note the mocks,the sailors all fulfilled and we can see,this by the green brick here we can open,the goods out note by clicking the link,which takes us to the goods out screen,which is effectively the packing note,and here we've got the big paddle with,yellow ends we'll print,pick and pack this and when we pack it,we have the opportunity to add a,tracking reference if you're integrating,Brightpearl with a carrier that tracking,reference will be put in automatically,and then finally when we ship the goods,out note Brightpearl will tell the sales,channel that this particular line item,has been shipped in the case of Shopify,this creates a shipment and also marks,the sale is fulfilled and we can see,here that the shipping method standard,shipping and the tracking reference has,come through from Brightpearl going back,to the Brightpearl sales order we can,see in the accounting tab that we,actually owe the customer 45 pounds 99,that's because we've had 45 pounds 99,paid by the customer for this order and,we'v

this video is a high-level overview of,the bright pearl to Amazon integration,what we'll do is we'll work through this,graphic to show you how it all works the,first column here we've got the Amazon,buyer which is your customer and then,we've got the Amazon seller which is you,and then on the right-hand side you've,got your bright pearl software so the,Amazon buyer places an order they pay,for the order they get an order,confirmation email and then when you,ship it they get an order dispatched,email and then finally at the end they,take delivery of the goods so for you,the process starts by listing items on,Amazon once they're listed on amazon,their customer buys them you get a,pending order that order only becomes,ready when the payment has been,authorized then you fulfill in ship it,and then that becomes a ship to order on,amazon amazon release the funds and then,about two weeks later those funds are,transferred into your bank account so,how does that work with bright pole,first of all we'll list the item on,amazon what you then do is you download,those amazon listings into Brightpearl,and either connect them to existing,products or create new bright bulb,products for those items you then,subsequently manage the inventory levels,of those items in bright pearl and,bright pearl will tell Amazon the right,inventory levels so as soon as the,customer has an order ready in other,words the payment has been authorized,it's downloaded into bright pole as a,new order any available inventory is,allocated to this order which means it's,not available for other sales channels,you then fulfill and ship this order in,bright Pole and bright pearl tells,amazon that the order has been shipped,amazon then tells the customer that the,order has been dispatched once you've,fulfilled and shipped your order in,bright pole we recommend that you,invoice it a couple of weeks later when,you actually receive the funds from,amazon we get a payment report sent to,bright bell automatically and this is,the point at which the sales receipt is,created against the amazon order and any,fees relegated into your accounting,system so to make this all work you need,to do a few things first of all you need,to connect your amazon marketplace to,bright pearl and there are three steps,involved with app there's also a,dedicated,video to show you how that works the,next thing you need to do is link your,Amazon inventory which we call Amazon,listings to brightpaw products and again,there's a separate video for that then,when the orders start coming in you,fulfill and ship them using bright pulp,and then finally you invoice them in,bright pal and again there are videos,for each of these and finally I'll cover,a few faq s people often ask if you can,connect multiple marketplaces to one,bright pal account and yes absolutely no,problems there you can also sell on,foreign currency market places so if,you're a UK merchant you can sell on,amazon france summers in germany amazon,us and so on bright p

in this video I'm going to show you how,Brightpearl can automate inventory,management across multiple sales,channels when new stock comes in and has,to be made available across all channels,as soon as possible to enable your sales,then when an item sells on one channel,inventory levels and all other channels,need to be reduced to prevent the same,item selling twice and the only way to,do this effectively is using automation,once you've connected your sales,channels to Brightpearl everything,happens automatically,we'll start by receiving inventory your,warehouse team will open a purchase,order which you created earlier they,select which items have been received,optionally choose the inventory location,and put the items on the Shelf broke,pearl supports multiple warehouses and a,range of location management methods the,increase in available stock is sent out,to all your sales channels which have,the same product SKU in their system on,the right-hand side over here I've got a,connected Shopify store and if i refresh,this screen you'll see that our 13 in,stock will go up to 15 in stock each,channel can be configured to show,available inventory from a different,combination of warehouses Brightpearl,also supports Amazon FBA and remote,inventory levels from dropship suppliers,via our open API when an item sells,online the order is downloaded into,Brightpearl,any available inventory is automatically,allocated to this sale reducing your,on-hand levels,it's the on-hand levels that are sent to,connected channels for accounting and,warehouse management purposes you still,have the item in stock on the shelf but,as it's been allocated it won't sell to,anyone else as soon as on-hand levels,change Brightpearl notifies your,connected sales channels to reduce their,numbers too so you can see because we've,got an order here for one of these,tables our on hand has gone back down to,14 we can see the stock level in our,connected Shopify store has also been,reduced all you need to do is ensure the,items on your channels have the same SKU,as bright pearl a sales order can be,fulfilled in multiple,your shipments from different warehouses,at different times or even part stock,and part dropship so here for example,this last line is going to be shipped,via a dropship purchase order from a,supplier called HK manufacturing and the,top two items will be shipped from,different warehouses again using,Brightpearl automation,much of this is completely automatic a,particularly useful feature of,Brightpearl inventory management is,bundles or kits you can set up a single,product SKU on your sales channel which,in Brightpearl,is represented as a bundle of parts when,an order for this SKU arrives the,inventory of the component parts are,reduced Brightpearl can also set the,availability of the bundle on the sales,channel based on stock levels of,component parts so here this surfboard,in shorts pack would be unavailable on,the sales channel because you didn't,have any of the shorts in s

good morning and welcome to the latest,episode of tech sales crafts with me,james hanslow and today i'm absolutely,delighted to be joined by nick shaw who,is the cro over at brightpearl good,morning nick good morning james thanks,for having me on appreciate no problem,well i've been trying to get you on for,a a little while as a leader who's done,some some great stuff i know we're going,to dig quite a lot into brightpearl,because the the transition from when you,arrive to where it is now is quite a,great story but before we dive into that,do you want to just give the audience an,idea of who you are and and what you did,prior to brightpearl,yeah absolutely um you know a sales,leader who has um a few decades worth of,experience um,in sales and general leadership i was at,um,a well-known security company,for roughly 10 years doing various,leadership roles,throughout europe,middle east and africa and ran my final,job there was running their consumer,business,throughout europe middle east and africa,which was a pretty exciting role for me,really enjoyed that,um started as most people did as a as a,kind of it wasn't called a bdr then but,as a as a as an outbound telly sales,person and obviously move from there to,to to internal sales and then into sales,leadership over time which i think is a,fairly well trodden path for most people,and certainly,is a good path to tread because it helps,you understand the challenges of the,different roles within a sales,organization and obviously in my current,role i've run sales marketing,professional services support and,customer success i have a fairly,um varied role at brightpearl which i've,been with for just over two and a half,years brightpearl and where you were,before two very different uh types of,organizations in very different stages,uh,of their lives,what made you decide that brightpearl,was the the right opportunity to move,because i imagine there was a lot of,opportunity eight to stay where you were,um and continue growing in what you did,in what is quite a fantastic business um,but i'm sure there was a lot of,companies within security they would,want you and other businesses so what,was it about brightpearl um and um what,stage of the business was it actually at,when you walked through the door,so so when i worked through the door the,business had just um clicked through the,10 million arr yeah um revenue gates so,it's you know way past kind of seed,round or series a and was was more into,the kind of b b,c c rounds and such,um i think there was probably a couple,of things that that attracted me to,brightpearl,one is i'd be,i liked some of the investors you know i,knew some of the investors had been,watching what they were doing and like,some of the investors and been having,discussions with the investors which i,think is an important thing,i'd worked with the ceo before which is,a really important important thing for,me anyway to have the right people in,leadership roles to make sure you can be,successf
