hi i'm albert so you're offering classes,on your shopify store,today i'll be walking you through how to,set up classes using book that app in,just a few easy clicks,book that app has specific features,built to support merchants who want to,run classes in their shopify store,including class enrollment reports,emailing class lists to instructors and,a class calendar view showing all,classes,let's get started,first let's set up a product to,represent our class,if you offer course materials such as,textbooks or equipment with your class,you can set up a shopify variant to,represent the material in this example,we have two options,class only or class yoga mat,next in the app admin let's go to the,setup wizard under the installation link,we will choose class as the booking type,and then hit next,as we have already created the product,in shopify we will choose import and,select the class,next is the product configuration you,will notice that the booking type is set,to class,this is important as the booking type,determines which booking widget is,displayed on the product,next let's set our capacity,in this case the instructor can take 20,students per class so the capacity is,20. however the instructor only has 10,yoga mats available for any class so we,will set the capacity based on variant,and assign 10 to the class only variant,and 10 to the class yoga mat variant,then we'll set the duration in this case,the yoga class runs for one hour,you can add a location for the class,which is optional,you can also add in email addresses for,your instructor to get a list of,students emailed to them the day before,the class starts,next set your colors for the class these,colors allow you to differentiate the,colors of the event both in the admin,and in the public facing calendar to,make it easier to find them,finally we'll enter our schedule click,on add items and add in the first date,for your class,add the location if applicable,if the event repeats click on repeat and,enter in the repeating schedule,then save the schedule,next we'll customize the colors of your,widget,as you can see,there's the preview of the widget on the,right side so you can see the changes,you make as you make them,and now we'll choose our own custom,labels,and finally we'll choose our settings,then hit finish,you'll now see a calendar on your,product page showing your class dates,once you have added all of your classes,a handy feature to add to your website,navigation is the store calendar that,shows all classes,you can access it in the app under,configuration,templates,calendar,head on now to bookthatapp.com to sign,up and get started,our support team is waiting to help you,via email or chat if you have any,questions,book that app,flexible reliable scalable booking,solutions for your shopify store,thank you for watching

Demo: Take bookings in 3 minutes with Easy Appointment Booking

hi i'm ray from the easy appointment,booking app this app is the fastest way,to turn your shopify products into a,bookable service or event so let's get,started and i'll show you how to set,things up,i have my sample store here i'm creating,consultation calls and this does not,have the app yet as you can see it's the,normal add to cart button and i'm going,to show you how to set this up,if i go to my shopify admin and click on,the easy appointment booking app this is,the first screen i see i can create my,first event select the product and take,bookings for all my products appear here,i'll select the product that i want to,turn into an event,and now i can set things up,in this workflow,i do a few things first i'm going to set,up my availability,so here's when i'm available i'll say my,first name is ray,and this is ray's default schedule i can,change my email or phone number if i if,i wish,by default it shows nine to five in my,time zone let's say i'm not available,wednesdays and thursdays i want to take,bookings up until 8 pm,maybe i have an override date i'm not,available on monday the 27th i can go,ahead and do that,connecting your google calendar actually,lets you sync all of your bookings to,your personal google calendar or,business google calendar and allows you,to also block out any personal events,i'll show that in a separate video,click save,that will be the one selected for this,event,now i can set my duration attendees and,buffer time i want this to be 60 minutes,one person's enough and i want a 30,minute buffer so every time a booking,comes in the next booking won't be until,30 minutes later,notes location and links appear for your,customers in the email if there's any,notes you can share them here,looking forward,to seeing your shopify store there's no,location for my event because it's,online in which case i do have a google,meet event,i'll add here,you can create start and end dates for,your specific event uh i don't have a,specific start date but i will set an,end date,for january 30th so that i don't take,bookings after january 30th if i need,lead time i can select that here as well,so let's say i don't want anyone to book,appointments with me,up until 12 hours until the next,available time so if the time right now,is 3 39 pm i can't take a booking for,the next 12 hours to give me some lead,time so i'm not caught off guard,custom questions are available which i,can show in a separate video that lets,customers answer any specific questions,they have with you,before they meet with you,i'm going to show it in a monthly,calendar view rather than week by week,and for notifications we by default send,the confirmation emails if you'd like in,our paid plans you have our automatic,reminders and thank you so you don't,have to lift a finger when reminding,your customers and thanking them for,attending your event,once i click save,now my event's created i can view it in,my store,now my add to cart button has been,turned into a selected time b

welcome to the book that app how-to,series we will be showing you how to,install booking form to into your theme,so that your customers can select the,start and end dates for their product,rentals giving them more flexibility and,yourself better control over your rental,process so let's start in the Shopify,admin click on the app section in the,left toolbar and then click on book that,app by zetia giving you access to the,book that app admin page what we're,looking for here is the installation,toggle which we want to open and select,install steps we'll be installing the,form that is relevant to us so for the,purpose of this video we'll be,installing form 2 for date range,selection by clicking on the blue,install button to the right a snippet is,created in your Shopify theme and once,you get a success confirmation scroll to,the bottom of the page and click Next,copy the include booking statement now,we need to include the booking form on,the product page so switch back to your,Shopify admin dashboard and visit the,online store select themes and then,choose your live theme you'll have to,edit the live themes code to get the,booking form ready for your products by,going to the actions section and,selecting edit code it may seem,overwhelming but you only need to search,for the product template code for your,theme scroll through the code and find,the product variants section the include,statement will be pasted after it the,exact location of the files you need may,vary from theme to theme but the key to,making this step successful is that the,include booking statement goes after the,section of code for the product variants,this is because when it's live the,customer will be able to go through,their variant selection first if,applicable and then move on to selecting,dates if you have trouble locating it,use your browser search option to search,for the variant by holding down ctrl + F,at the same time once you found it,place the include booking statement,right after the product variants and,before the quantity selector,and don't forget to hit that Save button,now switch back to the book that app,admin tab in your browser which should,still be on step 2 and click Next the,third and final step requires you to,update the cart page copy the code again,go back to the themes section and select,the cart template file then find the,cart quantity input line of code the,location may differ according to your,theme but it will always be in the file,with the cart items once you've found it,add a new line beneath it and paste the,new code there as a placeholder now,you'll need to cut out your themes,original quantity input line of code and,paste it over the two placeholder,quantity input lines here is what the,line of code we're using here looks like,the final edit is to modify the initial,conditions input code remove the class,completely and change the type from,number to hidden and that's it save the,changes go to your product page tab and,refresh the page and you
