Use Loyalty Points as a Currency on Shopify

okay I think we are good to go what's up,guys welcome to our bold commerce,livestream for today it is Wednesday,January 31st,and today we're going to be talking,about the new loyalty points Redemption,experience that we have using this new,upgrade and check out that we've got,going on here,this is super exciting I'm just gonna,wait a couple seconds here double check,make sure that everything is good on,this stream just refresh my page make,sure I can hear myself here and yeah,that looks good to me,cool nice,all right look sharp,so as I mentioned today we're going to,be talking about this brand new loyalty,points Redemption experience,so first we'll kind of look at what,we've what we've previously done for for,loyalty points on Shopify and then kind,of what we're going to talk about so,we're gonna click demo I'm gonna show,you how to set this up on your Shopify,store and then we'll have time for a Q&A,at the end it's usually about a half an,hour or so for these things and then the,Q&A can sometimes take an extra 10 or 15,minutes,today's might run a bit shorter than,that I know you guys are all busy so,first what has been the redemption,experience for loyalty points before so,every loyalty app kind of handles this,in a slightly different way the way ours,did it and I can speak to this best,probably is a customer would get loyalty,points on your store by making purchases,then once they had enough of those,points they would be able to checkout,for a very specific product so you know,for example let's say I have an SD card,for a camera that costs 1000 points if I,have a thousand points I can then choose,when I'm on the page for that specific,product to redeem the points for that SD,card which is great and then it asks for,my shipping address and you know that,gets an order created for me and Shopify,and I know that I have to send that,customer nasty card that they just,treated redeems for their points but the,issue with this is it's not really super,intuitive to a customer on how to,actually redeem those points and well,it's great to have a loyalty program if,we can't you know if it's not actually,valuable or intuitive to a customer as,to how to redeem those points then they,don't find it valuable and then the,value that we're getting from that,program is kind of lost right because,the customer the program is only,valuable and only keeps them coming back,if they think they're getting something,out of it and if they're not able to,kind of have a seamless redemption,experience that's really really not good,for them so this new Redemption flow,that we've got is really cool because it,lets us do a few different things for,starters the redemption happens right in,the checkout so instead of picking on a,specific products page that I want to,check out with loyalty points for,example I just pick all the products I,want for my,order I go to the checkout page and then,I can pay with points right there,they're just like a currency just like I,would use a credit

today we will see customer points in,output books customer points how does it,work,during shopping you will get reward,points on next shopping reward points,can be redeemed,in this video we are going to see Reward,Points based on total invoice value,based on items redeem points and Report,in settings you have to enable the,customer points in modules,first we will see how to set customer,points,here points applicable on total invoice,value that is reward points will,increase depending upon the invoice,amount,item wise that is points you will get,depends upon the items,calculate also on,if you wish to reward points for,Discount items and credit invoice you,can enable these options,we can display the points in print by,using display in print,can Define reward points based on,invoice value,redeem points,we are going to set redeem points that,is,this redeem points will be applicable,for future invoice of the particular,customer,when invoice value greater than 500 we,can use the points for Discount,also we can control here how many,minimum and maximum points we can use in,a single invoice,first we will see based on total invoice,value,make first invoice for the customer,thank you,check the report for a particular,customer points,redeem points,if the same customer buys next time then,reward points will apply you can enter,the amount to redeem,foreign,if you redeem 50 points an amount of 50,rupees will be deducted,the report for redeem points it has been,reduced,next we will see item wise customer,points,you can assign the items and points here,you have to enter the minimum quantity,of the item,when we can redeem the points,for example when invoice value greater,than 500 we can use the points for,Discount,also we can control here how many,minimum and maximum points we can use in,a single invoice next we will make the,invoice for the particular items,during further invoice you can use the,reward points,foreign,here I am going to use 100 points out of,200.,you can check this in invoice preview,while making receipts you can notice,that 100 points that is 100 rupees has,been reduced,you can check in customer points report,remaining 100 points are there

women in the bible aren't always shy or,quiet,when we pay attention to their stories,we can see not only their particular,fearsome lives but also,our own,there are four mothers of the faith,they're funny demanding,and fierce,so as i mentioned a moment ago we are in,the midst of a sermon series that we're,calling fierce looking at some of the,women in the bible,many of whom oftentimes get overlooked,sometimes even go unnamed,but there are some women in scripture,who are fierce and funny,demanding,and like all of us their stories are,messy,challenging,but also beautiful,their stories are example of mercy and,bravery of,bold loyalty as we will see today,today we're looking at the story of ruth,which is a fantastic beautiful story but,yet one that,many of us don't know all that well now,central to the story of ruth is,well,a woman by the name of ruth,she is a moabite which means that she's,not from israel she's an outsider but,yet despite that according to tradition,she is the great grandmother of king,david himself,now to set the scene for the text that,you're about to hear there was a man,from bethlehem known as elimelech,and he was married to a woman by the,name of naomi,and together they had two sons,there was a famine at that time in the,land of judah and so they traveled to,moab,which is one of the neighboring,countries just on the other side of the,dead sea and they went there so that he,could feed his family,now eventually elimelech died leaving,behind his wife naomi and their two sons,the sons though eventually married,moabite women,one of whom was ruth,the other one was a woman by the name of,orpah but you don't need to remember,that it won't be on the final exam,and they lived there for 10 years,but then just like their father before,them,both of the sons died,now in that time in that culture women,had no way to care for themselves they,had no way to make a living they had no,way to provide for themselves,so naomi decided that the best thing for,her,was to go back to judah to go back to,bethlehem she had family there,and maybe hopefully prayerfully,they would be able to take care of her,and so as they set out,naomi turned to her daughter's in-law,and said,there's nothing for you there,you should stay here go back and live,with your families you're still young,you can find husbands you can turn your,life around,my life she says is a mess,there's nothing for me here but you,still have time,to turn things around,well orpah,kissed her on the cheek,and wished her well,and turned and started back towards moab,but ruth,ruth clung to her,and then she said this,our scripture reading today comes from,the old testament,the book of ruth,chapter 1 verses 16 through 18.,but ruth said,do not press me to leave you,to turn back from following you,where you go i will go,where you lodge i will lodge,your people shall be my people and your,god shall be my god,where you die i will die and there will,i be buried,may the lord do thus to me and more as,well if ev

hi,welcome to both subscriptions my name is,beth and i'm here to show you around the,app,let's start by covering off a few things,to make sure your shopify store is,prepped and ready for install,first off it's important to make sure,that you'll be using a compatible,payment gateway,the good news is that both subscriptions,work seamlessly with shopify checkout,and all of its supported,payment gateways to help you out we've,included a link in the description of,this video,that will list all of the shopify,checkout requirements,if you're using a non-supported payment,gateway unfortunately you'll need to,change and use one that is compatible,with subscriptions on shopify,you'll also want to make sure you've,completed setting up your shipping and,taxes within shopify,and finally if you wanted to create a,subscription specific product,for example a mystery box or seasonal,subscription,you'll need to first create it in,shopify as well,if you need assistance setting up a,subscription we've also included a link,in the description of this video,in order for subscriptions to work,properly and display the subscription,widget you'll need liquid code to be,installed onto your shopify theme,here let me show you before installing,we recommend creating a duplicate of,your live theme,to do this go to shopify admin online,store,duplicate your current theme to complete,an automatic install,all you need to do is open the app which,will then prompt you step-by-step,instructions,make sure you have the app installed on,the correct theme,if at any point you need extra,assistance please visit the bold,commerce help center,where you will have access to plenty of,articles and live chat support,creating your first subscription is easy,click on subscription group,then create a subscription group first,you're going to create a subscription,name,this name will be internal and it won't,be seen by customers,next choose your subscription product,click select,products and select the product you want,to offer as a subscription,customers can swap out their,subscription products within the same,subscription group,next select subscription frequency,options,here is where you would set the,frequency of your subscriptions,your subscriptionc frequency option can,be set either day,week month or year once you've chosen,your frequency you can give it a name,this name will be storefront for your,customers to see lastly,additional settings if toggled on you,can offer customers a discount for,subscribing,either percentage off or dollar amount,off,if everything looks good don't forget to,click save changes,there you've created a subscription if,you ever need to edit the subscription,simply click on the three dots under,actions,corresponding to the subscription group,then click edit subscription group,in the customer portal section you can,toggle customer permissions,your customer can log into their account,to make changes,pause or resume their subscription,change their next order date,cancel subs

now as we go into AFS I want to,introduce you to the idea of envisioning,why this concept this word means so much,to me,many of you might know my story I was,working in Silicon Valley I had a,computer engineering degree the dot-com,bubble had burst and the only job I,could get was and wasn't sales and I,went into meditation so I could simply,pull myself out of that misery right at,that horrible sales job I was at but,what I didn't realize is that meditation,would cause me to just accelerate in my,career and soon I became VP in the,company I was only 26 years old and I'd,they moved me to New York and asked me,to run their division in New York and I,got stuck in that I got stuck in,corporate in the corporate world for,about 18 months and then as I continued,meditating as I continued going deep,within I realized that this was not me,that something was off I was crushing it,at my job but my life felt like there,was so much more I needed to do than,just pick up the phone and be selling,technology to lawyers and in the in the,US and so I quit my job and I became a,meditation instructor and that's where I,certainly had to rebuild everything when,I first started out I was so embarrassed,at like what I was going through that I,didn't tell my friends that I was,teaching meditation remember this was,like 2003 in New York meditation wasn't,hip and cool as it is right now where,you have like super stars and,celebrities talking about it back then,it was like whoo right it was it was,this this thing that weird people did so,that's where mine Valley actually,started manga we started in that,particular window above this this,restaurant called the playwrights Tavern,in New York City and the funny thing,about that window is before I moved in,there before I moved into that apartment,in Times Square,it was a thigh massage parlor right,this was Times Square in 2003 before,Disney took over and put up a lot and in,the Little Mermaid and in the Lion King,this was not like Disney Time Square,this was like crack and hookers Times,Square,so it's a sobering thought that mine,Valley really started in a former,whorehouse,but we all have to start somewhere right,and this was the first official nine,Valley seminar that is the actual,seminar room where it took place right,it was just me there was no team there,was hardly any budget the budget was,maybe like 600 bucks,it was 19 people and that's what I did,for about five years of my life that,little seminar room this was at the,Hilton on 59th Street in New York it was,it was nothing compared to where we are,right now this was my office in 2003,that's the beat-up Toshiba laptop the,table I'm working on this is really,interesting right in New York me and,Christina we were so broke we couldn't,afford proper furniture so we would just,go out to the streets and salvage what,our neighbors tossed out every year,IKEA would release their new catalog all,the Oh likea would go to the street and,then in New York you just pick up what,you need

hi,in this video we will show how you can,integrate along with loyalty lion to,reward users with loyalty points when,they write a review on your show,here's how to do it,go to external integrations,and in integrations click the loyalty,lion,then enable this,after that your loyalty lion page,go to manage,after that,scroll down and click on settings,finally at the very end,your token and secret will be shown,copy them,that's it,in the opinion page,when you're done click on save,then loyalty legend preferences will,update,good,now your integration is active,in order to start tracking users and,giving them reward points you'll first,need to create a custom rule to trigger,it,so follow these steps,back in loyalty lane,click on create new rule,then select custom rule,now as identifier,you need to set,left,underscore preview,underscore on,underscore opinion,make sure it's exactly that because,that's the identifier we use for,customers who write reviews on opinion,after that,select the number of points you want to,reward your customers,for example 200,in approval method select immediate,in limit you can set the limit for your,rewards,for example you can only give points one,times per day week month or year,this is up to you,after that give your rule a title,this is how the activity will appear to,customers in the loyalty layout panel,for example,reviewers,now the notification,this will be seen by customers when they,receive points,copy this,and set up it like,points,for leaving an interview,the points,text will be replaced with the actual,amount of points awarded,after that you need to set a description,this will be seen by the customers in,loyalty layout panel when they click on,our rule,this is optional,finally once you're done click on create,rule,we wait a few seconds,and that's it,now you created your custom bluetooth,customers,now,in order to get the reward,your customer must be enrolled in your,loyalty base,this will be shown in your customers,page,if a customer is enrolled the reward,will be automatically added and you'll,see the customer status,enrolled in your customer,if the customer who left a review is not,enrolled,the status of that customer will be,guessed,like this,it's up to you to encourage them to get,enrolled,when they do,this tattoo will be changed to enrolled,and the reward will be automatically,added

hey welcome to your new bold up-sell app,this video is gonna show you how to,create upsells cross-sells upsells and,cross-sells after checkout and funnels,before and after checkout as well,upsells and cross-sells are the easiest,way to increase the average order value,on your store this video is gonna show,you how to do it and you can have,upsells and cross-sells running today,before I jump into the administrator set,one up let me show you what it looks,like on the front end first this is an,example of product that has upsells and,cross-sells and a funnel and cross-sells,after checkout I'm gonna go ahead and,add this product to my cart you know,it's the first thing I presented with is,a upsell offer it's asking me if I want,to upgrade from the product I added to,this premium version for only $50 more,well of course I'm gonna upgrade it's,only $50 more a couple of things about,this you can control if you want this to,say the actual dollar amount of the new,product or just the the difference we,find showing just the difference,converts a lot better so let's go ahead,and get up sold,now I'm presented with a cross sell the,cross sell is when a product is added to,your existing order so this isn't gonna,replace any product it's gonna add to my,existing order so let's go ahead and get,cross sold and finally let's get cross,sold again you notice three offers just,showed in this are three products just,got offered in this upsell this is a,funnel a funnel is where multiple,products get offered and different ones,can be offered depending on if you,accept or decline a certain offer so I,accepted so I was shown certain ones if,I would have declined I would have seen,different ones as well too now let's go,ahead and check out so I'm on the,checkout page the checkout button is,also another trigger location if I go,ahead and click checkout I'm presented,with another upsell offer here there's,two products in the window this one,isn't a funnel as soon as I add,something it's gonna let take me away,from the page a couple things this,product I can adjust quantity this,product I can't adjust quantity so you,can decide if you want to let them be,able to set quantities or not and I can,only add one of these products you'll,notice as soon as I click Add to Cart,with the filter,boom I'm gone and I'm on to the checkout,you can also make it so they can add,both products if you want all that's,adjustable on the back end well let's go,ahead and check out this demo store is,using bold cashier and what's amazing,about that well there's lots of amazing,things the first amazing thing is,everything is stored credit cards are,stored I can actually check out with,boom one click but what's amazing,related to upsells is it does upsells,after checkout so now my order is placed,if I walk away this order will generate,as is I don't need to do anything else,right now but if I click add to order in,the next four minutes and 45 seconds,this product will add to this order I,just placed wit
