Create a Discount with Bold Discounts

hey there in this video we are going to,go over how to create a discount in bold,discounts,by default bold discounts v1 does not,need a liquid code installation to,discount products on your storefronts,this means that you can start creating,discount groups right away,after installing the app to create a,discount group in bold discounts,select current discounts then select,create discount at the top of the page,under the first section enter in an,internal discount name,this name is internal facing and is used,to help,you identify this discount group between,other discount groups within bold,discounts,under apply discount to selected,products enter in the discount amount,and type you would like to apply you can,apply a percentage based discount,or a set dollar amount off your products,once you have added a discount amount,and type click on select,products this will bring up a product,selector box that you can use to search,for a product or products on your store,you can enter a product title using the,search bar you can also apply filters to,narrow down your search results,or use the results section and navigate,through your list of products,once you have found the product or,products that you would like to apply to,the discount group,select add next to each product then,select continue with selected products,you can set a start and end date for the,discount group to indicate when the,discount will start,and when the discount will end if you,set a start date for the future,bold discounts will turn on the discount,automatically,on the day and time that you set as well,as turn off the discount group on the,end date,entered the time specified for the start,date,and end date is based on your store's,local time zone,next you can apply an override for the,cents for each product added into the,discount group,this means that if you have a lot of,products that end in different scent,values,you can apply an override to have all,products that are being discounted in,the discount group,and at the same sent amount under the,next section,you can add a tag to each product that,is assigned to the discount group,once the discount group has been enabled,on your store,the discount tag feature is really,useful for creating a daily deal type,promotion on your story,as well as creating a smart collection,of products,when the discount group is set to end,the discount tag will automatically be,removed from each product as well lastly,there is an optional feature that allows,you to create a duplicate and hidden,version of,each product assigned to the discount,group and discount the duplicate and,hidden product,this feature allows you to create bogo,or buy one get one type of discounts,between bold discounts and bold upsell,if this feature is selected the live,products will not be discounted at all,only the duplicate and hidden variants,of the product,once you have double checked each,setting select creates at the bottom of,the page to save the discount group,the discount g

hey there in this video we are going to,go through the setup of creating a buy,one get one discount in bold upsell and,bold discounts,using bold discounts you can apply a,discount to a duplicate version of a,product,the duplicate product is hidden from the,storefront using some custom liquid code,in your theme,so customers cannot purchase the,discounted product on its own in your,store,duplicated product is then added as an,offered product in the crosshail offer,created in bold upsell,this allows the discounted hidden,products to only appear within the,cross-sell,offer when the conditions applied to the,sell offer have been met by your,customers,the first step in the setup of the bogo,buy one get one discount,is creating the duplicate and hidden,discount in bold discounts,from the home page of the bold discounts,admin select current discounts,then create discount under the first,section,enter in an internal discount name this,name,is internal facing and is used to help,you identify,this discount group between other,discount groups within bulk discounts,under apply discount to selected,products enter in the discounted amount,and type you'd like to apply,you can apply a percentage based,discount or a set dollar amount off your,products,in this example i'm going to use a 50,discount,once you have added a discount amount,and type for your discount,click on select products this will bring,up a product selected box that you can,use to search for a product or products,on your store,you can enter a product title using the,search bar apply,filters to narrow down your search,results or use the results section and,navigate through your list of products,once you have found the product or,products that you would like to apply to,the discount group,select add next to each product then,select continue with selected products,in this example i'm going to use a pair,of socks,you can set a start and end date for the,discount group to indicate when the,discount will start and when the,discount will end,if you set a start date for the future,bold discounts will turn on the discount,automatically on the day and time that,you set,as well as turn off the discount group,on the end date entered,the time specified for the start date,and end date is based on your,store's local time zone next you can,apply,an override for the cents for each,product added into the discount group,this means that if you have a lot of,products that end in different scent,values you can apply an override to have,all products that are being discounted,in a discount group and at the same,sent amount if you'd like to apply a,discount tag to the duplicate and hidden,product,enter the tag that you'd like to add,here,in the last section be sure to select,the check box,under the duplicate and hide section to,avoid discounting the live,product on the storefront after,selecting this checkbox and double,checking the settings that you added,select create at the bottom of the page,beside the discount group y

hey there welcome back,in this video we are going to go through,the rest of the setup of creating a buy,one get one discount in bold upsell,in the previous video we created a,duplicate and hidden product in bold,discounts,if you missed the last video be sure to,check it out before continuing any,further,in this video the second part of the,bogo,buy one get one discount involves,creating a cross-sell offer,in bold upsell and applying our,duplicate and hidden product as the,offer product,from within the bold upsell admin select,offers,then create offer under basic,information,add an internal name for the crossout,offer to help you identify this,crossover offer between other offers,created within bold upsell,under upsell offer flow select set a,trigger,you can then select either add to cart,or before,checkout you can use either option for,the bogo discount,in this example i'm going to choose,before checkout as before checkout,offers,have lower churn rates than add to cart,offers,once you've decided which trigger event,you would like,click on select products,this will bring up a product selector,box you can search for a product title,using the search bar at the top,apply filters to narrow down your search,results,or use the search results section and,navigate through your pages to find a,product or products,once you have found the offer products,that you'd like to choose,go ahead and select add next to the,offer product then choose continue with,selected products,if you would like to only show the bogo,offer when the customer has,added more than one of the trigger,product to the cart you can do so,by changing the value next to the,quantity input box here,under upsell offer select set and offer,this allows you to set a title and,description for the bogo offer,in my example i'm going to use a generic,title and description,feel free to use a more elaborative,title and description for your offer,once you have entered a title and,description click on select,products once you have clicked on select,products,either search or navigate through your,list of products and select,the duplicate discounted version of the,product that was created earlier from,bold discounts,once you have selected the duplicated,discounted product select continue with,selected products,under offer options you can enable some,options to allow customers to add more,than one quantity of the offered,products into the checkout,if you'd like to apply a date range or a,cart value minimum condition,you can do so by applying a date range,here and a cart minimum condition here,in the last section under additional,options you can enable some,optional settings for the cross-sell,offer it is not recommended to enable,the image link option,however if you are tracking inventory,for the offered products,it is recommended to enable the second,additional option that hides out of,stock,products it is also highly recommended,to enable the last additional option,this option automatically removes the,offe

hey guys this is Aubrey from bold and in,this video I'm going to show you how to,create your very first offer using the,bold Epsilon super easy only takes a,couple of minutes so let's get started,for starters we're going to choose the,offers menu from the navigation bar and,press create offer first we're gonna,give our offer a name so I'm gonna call,this the super fidget cube offer next,we're going to choose the offer type so,we have two types of offers that we can,select here either a cross sell which is,where we're going to add a product,that's commonly sold with that so for,example if the customer picks out a pair,of leather shoes I might cross sell them,a bottle of cleaner for those shoes an,upsell is a little different with an,upsell we're gonna replace the product,that the customer originally chose the,more expensive option so an example of,that would be they pick a one pound bag,of coffee and we upsell them to a two,pound bag so a cross sell is adding a,product the upsell is replacing the,product for this video we'll show you,how to do a cross sell so after we,picked cross sell here we'll choose when,we want to show the offer to the,customer so we can either show it when,the customer presses B Add to Cart,button so that's when they're on the,product page and they've chosen the,product and they press Add to Cart or we,can do it when they press the checkout,button which happens on the cart page,right as soon as they're about to enter,in their shipping and their billing,information,the third option here requires our,cashier app and it will upgrade your,checkout so you can do upsells after,checkout or cross sells after checkout,this is where the customer is entered in,their payment information their shipping,information they paid for their order,and they get a last-second offer at a,great deal I'll choose the Add to Cart,button option here the next thing we're,going to do is select trigger products,use that button on the right and select,products using the product selector so,trigger products are products that are,going to trigger the offer so for,example I don't want to offer that,bottle of leather cleaner to every,single person who makes a purchase from,my store I only want to offer it to,someone whose pick,the leather shoes in this case I'm going,to choose this black fidget cube as my,trigger product perfect then we'll save,the trigger next we're going to choose,the products to offer to those customers,so I'll again enter in to the product,selector here this is the product that's,actually going to show in the cross-sell,offer so I think I'm going to offer that,customer let's go at this blue fidget,cube here so they picked the black one,we're gonna offer them the blue one as,well we can also set a couple of,conditions on that offer so for example,we can show the offer only in a specific,date range or when their cart is within,a certain price range so that could be,you know for example any customer that,buys between 50 to $100 worth of produc
