hey everybody Justin scenar here I've,got a great video I'm gonna be teaching,you how to get your customers to rush,back to your store and spend more money,and this is all about back in stock,notifications basically what happens,when a product is out of stock how do,you ensure that you're never gonna lose,that sale let's jump right into it this,strategy is gonna get customers,literally rushing back to your store to,spend money with you and it's super,powerful and let's set up the example,here so you fully understand what's,going on let's say you're scaling a,super hot product maybe it's a drop,shipping product maybe it's even a,product that you made yourself maybe,it's print-on-demand,and you start running into some,inventory issues if you've been scaling,for a while if you've been running this,business you know that occasionally,you'll find some inventory issues,regardless of the type of product that,you're selling so think about this you,have customers coming to your store but,they can't purchase right you have a,product that is sold out you have a,product that is having inventory issues,can't be shipped whatever the issue is,you have traffic with people literally,ready to spend money on your store but,they have found a out of stock product,so how do you make sure that you never,lose the sale well it's a very simple,strategy it's called back in stock,alerts and it's literally just as the,name implies we're gonna will alert our,customer we're gonna notify our customer,as soon as a product is back in stock,give them a little bit of urgency to,come back and buy it and we'll make sure,that we'll never lose that sale now a,little bit of pain points here because,Shopify doesn't really have any built-in,options for this on you know in terms of,their default what's gonna happen is,it's just gonna show out of stock it's,gonna show unavailable it's just not,going to give them any ability to,purchase the product of course the,customer could contact the store and ask,for more information but there's not,going to be any type of setup for them,to kind of come back later for you to,notify them there's no built-in solution,so we do need to use an app for this I,found a really great app that I've been,using and it's gonna set up a situation,like you see on the right hand side of,the screen it's gonna give instead of an,unavailable button where the Add to Cart,button is typical because the product is,out of stock,Shopify wants to show an unavailable,button but what this app is going to do,is change that button to say notify when,available and it's incredibly powerful,fact that's gonna be a new button that,says notify when available and as you,see it's going to create a little pop up,you could either do an email or an SMS,notification you could do a facebook,messenger notification and they can,enter in their information and then,they'll be able to be notified as soon,as the product comes back in stock so,we'll literally have people rushing back,to the store once

hey klaus here e-commerce business coach,in this video i'm going to show you a,strategy that i'm using in my own,business,when products are out of stock so let's,dive right into it,so i'm in the shopify app store now to,show you the two,apps that i'm using in my own business,if products,go out of stock in my online store the,one strategy is basically to collect an,email address on the product page,if a product is out of stock so people,can leave their email address there and,they will get a notification,once the product is back in stock i want,to show you on this app that i have used,successfully in my store,on how it looks in their example store,so you can see here we have a product,page here and,down here um it asks basically puts in,whenever,and it does it automatically whenever a,product goes out of stock,um then this will be automatically put,into your product page so you don't need,to do anything manually here,and then it says item is out of stock,notify me enter your phone number and,email address,below to be notified when this item is,back in stock,so you can obviously customize that as,you like,you can change text and colors that,everything fits your business,and your layout your color scheme and so,on and so forth,and the main point here is that somebody,comes to your website,and does not end up on the website where,it just says,plainly sold out i see that in many,stores um people just leave,products in their store when they're,sold out and obviously somebody coming,to the product page will be disappear,disappointed,that they made all the clicks through,and then come to a page where they can't,buy actually from you,so that leaves some kind of a bit of,taste on you as a company,so my best the best case scenario can do,there,is offer them something that they still,can't um buy the product if they want to,wait,and then just leave their phone or their,sms,phone number here to get a text message,or their email address there to get an,email,whenever the product comes into store,now that's one strategy and i'm using,that when i'm not,really clear when the product will be,back in store,again or in stock again um so if you're,uncertain and you don't know how long it,takes,um then just take the email address and,then if you're lucky people are still,interested,in the product when it's back in store,and is available,and will come back and buy from you but,at least it shows a little bit of,service from your site and,that you really care about the customer,the other strategy,faults in there this is an app is called,pre-order now and it already tells you,the story,so with pre-order i'm have used that um,quite often um when my products,are in production and i know from the,factory when it will be delivered to my,warehouse,so i have a clear timeline when the,product will be available then,so if it's not not longer than like 30,days for instance,um instead of just collecting the email,address or the phone number for text,message,i will use this app beca

hey y'all welcome back to my channel,thank you for clicking on this video,as you can see from the title today's,video is a detailed walkthrough on,setting up pre-orders in shopify,if you saw my very brief overview video,that i did i did promise this video to,you guys,so today i am going to be showing you,how to set up a pre-order in the shopify,app on your phone you can do it on the,go you can do at a coffee shop,it's super easy it takes two seconds and,i'm gonna show y'all exactly step by,step,how to do it this video is helpful for,you at all please make sure to give it a,big thumbs up,comment if it was helpful share with a,friend who might also find it helpful,and hit that subscribe button turn on,the bell notifications so you know when,i,post i think pre-orders are a great idea,if you're a new business,or you don't know how much inventory to,order that's pretty much,why i did mine my store wasn't open yet,it's actually not opening until this,friday,august 28th i was posting myself wearing,one of my items and everyone was asking,when they can order so i was like,let me not miss out on this money and go,ahead and open it up so,pre-orders would be a great fit for you,so you don't really come out of pocket,when you're ordering the inventory,and also it helps you as a new business,because you don't always know exactly,how much to order of each item,so with that being said let's get into,how to set it up,so first thing you're going to do is,start in the shopify,app and,go to the products tab and as you can,see i already have a product set up here,this is a dummy product so i don't have,everything set up but,if you're listing this regularly you,would already have your pricing and all,that ready,so i put pre-order in the title you want,to avoid as much confusion as possible,so i always add it to the title or i,would add it to the title to avoid any,i didn't know it was a pre-ordered item,situations,so just save yourself the trouble this,is not something you want to try to be,gimmicky,or try to just get the orders in and not,tell the customer it's going to ship at,a later date,so make sure your customers are fully,aware that this is a pre-ordered item,it will not be available until a later,date once it's back in stock,it will be shipped then and if you do,have an idea of when the item is going,to ship,to you or when you're going to have the,item in stock if you have the exact date,of that that's even,better so maybe put that in the,description as a bonus,and shipping is really tricky right now,so none of my inventory has come on time,so if you add the shipping date add give,yourself about three to four days,as a cushion just in case it doesn't,come on time say,it's coming back into stock on september,first,give yourself maybe three to four days,from that just to be safe even up to a,week,and if it comes earlier and it ships,earlier your customer is going to be,happy so,that's my tidbit on that but really,you're okay with just having the,description and

what is going on guys Greg Iles TV I'm,gonna walk you through how to change,your icons and also revert them back to,either another icon set or the original,icon set I look a lot into these when,you can because you can download,different icon sets and wallpapers and,all that kind of stuff on your Galaxy,phone I see a lot of people in the,comments are like oh my god I don't know,how to switch back to the original icons,I and they'll give the the icon set that,they downloaded a bad rating because of,that and probably won't be able to find,it in here but they will put it in here,it'll be like I said I can't find to,figure out how to change the icon set so,I'm gonna show you guys how to revert,back and or delete icon sets and other,things that you've downloaded very very,easily so let's get to that there's,gonna be multiple ways you can do in it,do this so if you do it a slightly,different way then that's completely,fine but I'll show you the way that uh,I'll show you one of the many ways that,you can do it so first thing you want to,do is press and hold on a blank spot on,your homescreen see why obviously it's,selecting the widget I have there so I,had no I have open runner here so I'm,gonna press and hold and I'm gonna go in,to themes right when I go into themes,which maybe I want to do icons wherever,I don't have to hit icons at the bottom,and if you don't know what I cons are,just to go in here real quick icons are,gonna be the icons for your apps that,you have it's gonna change the look of,those so going back to where I was just,a second ago right here on this screen,what you're gonna do is hit the three,lines at the top left here and once you,press that you're gonna go into my stuff,go into my stuff and this is where you,can see your themes your wallpapers your,icons and you're always on displays that,you have so if you click on icons these,are all the icon sets I have you have,the default so if you want to go say,we're on this one for instance just,apply that real quick I'm gonna put this,as my icon set,okay so that's not my concept so if I go,back into where I just was a second ago,go into themes menu button in the top,left and then my stuff,and I go into icons you're gonna see,right here I can go back to default if I,want so we just tap that and hit apply,and that would put me back to my default,icon so I can choose one of the other,icon sets as well so that's exactly how,you would you know switch between icon,sets and also if you want to delete some,of these hit the three dots in the top,right and hit delete saia's hit delete,and then you choose the icon set that,you want to delete is tap on it and then,hit delete at the bottom and it will,completely delete it from your phone so,you don't have to worry about it anymore,but yeah that's how you get to all this,stuff and you're gonna do the same stuff,with you know your your wallpapers as,well if you want to change them and,delete them right there really easily,themes same thing you can come in

so you want to go from this to this,without annoying shortcuts in between i,can fix that welcome back tech heads so,here's a little secret that could get me,into a lot of trouble so i am going to,pull a prank on my mom while i show you,how to customize your iphones at the,same time so while she's out working in,the backyard and you know occupied and,not aware of what i'm doing i am going,to use her ipad which is the exact same,process as an iphone and i'm going to,make it look ridiculous she might disown,me she might yell at me she might even,kick me out of the house oh man where am,i going to live but that is a risk i am,willing to take for all of you all right,so we don't have much time until she,comes back inside and notices her ipad's,missing so let's get started and uh stay,to the end grab your apple device and go,into your settings tap on accessibility,and then tap on reduce motion okay so,just a quick side note before we move,forward so the reason we're putting the,reduce motion on is because while this,process works it's not perfect you know,apple's dumb and likes to make things,more difficult for us so by turning on,reduced motion this actually cleans up,some of the transitions that we can't,really fix or get around next go to,google and type in icon themer and tap,on the routine hub link which i'll also,link in the description below from here,tap on get shortcut tap on setup,shortcut tap next and tap add shortcut,don't worry this is the only thing you,need to download for the shortcuts app,that's it it's a shortcut to shortcut,the shortcuts app that skips over the,shortcut glitch when opening the app,shortcuts once downloaded go to the,shortcuts app and now you should see the,icon themer shortcut we just downloaded,okay so now it's time to find all of the,images we want to use for our custom,apps there are various themes you can,find online or even buy on etsy or just,go and download images from google but,in my case it's time to take many many,selfies i just hope my mom still loves,me after this,once you've found the photos you need or,taken open shortcuts and go to the new,shortcut we just downloaded tap on the,three dots right here then tap play now,it's time to choose the first app you,want to customize look don't let,yourself get confused here because it's,a lot easier than it looks and i'll,explain what's going on if you're,wanting to customize any of the stock,apps on your iphone like imessage the,health app settings calendar calculator,any of those then go and tap on system,apps otherwise tap on search app store,for every other app so like i said,before this isn't perfect and when it,comes to system apps like facetime or,settings or your phone apps messages,there's a weird glitch that apple makes,us go through the shortcuts app almost,no matter what we do but anything from,the app store that you download like,facebook or a game netflix when you tap,on the icon it'll automatically go right,to the app and bypass the whole,shortcut
