what's that make yourself this is Dave,LeClair and today we're gonna take a,look at the benefits of Spotify Premium,should you plunk down that money and,sign up for a premium subscription to,Spotify or are you better off sticking,with the free version we're gonna kind,of dig into what you get when you sign,up what you get with a free account and,it'll help you make a decision for,yourself as to whether or not you want,to spend your hard-earned money on this,subscription so before we get into the,subscription let's talk about the,limitations of the free version of,Spotify,the main thing is you don't get to skip,songs or pick the order of which your,songs are played so if you want to play,an album it's gonna shuffle it there are,select playlists that give you full,control over skips and over the order,you play the songs but if you just were,to say like I want to listen to you know,the latest album from whoever pick an,artist ariana grande or something I,don't know pick a pick an artist you're,gonna it's gonna shuffle that album for,you whereas if you have the premium,version you get to listen to the album,how you want either in the original,order you can shuffle you can pick and,choose your favorite songs the other,thing and this is super annoying is that,you're gonna get ads blasted in while,you're listening to music so you can't,really like if you're trying to use the,music as a way to zone out while you're,working and just have something on and,all of a sudden you hear hey love why,you want to buy this thing it's like it,totally takes you out of the zone takes,you out of the music so for most people,that's probably gonna be the deal,breaker with the free version of Spotify,versus the paid version is those ads the,way Spotify does it is just it's it,really ruins listening to music in a lot,of serious ways so now the benefit of,free is that you do get access to the,entire spotify library you don't have,complete control over said library as i,mentioned but you do get all of the,songs at your fingertips which is pretty,crazy when you think about it i remember,just a few years ago when the idea of,having like an entire music library at,your fingertips involved a whole lot of,shady dealings you had to go through,some back roots and do some serious,downloading of stuff that you may not,want on your computer now it's free yeah,you got to put them with some ads but,that's still a lot of music for no money,so let's say a song you don't like comes,on and you're a spotify free user you,can't skip it but you only get six skips,per hour,so if you,yourself in a playlist that has like,half songs you like and half songs you,don't you're probably gonna run out of,those skips pretty quickly but a6 is not,terrible and it might help you find some,new music to listen to because you might,be forced to subject yourself to,something that you normally wouldn't and,they might end up be in your favorite,band who knows so if you do elect to,sign up for premium the biggest t

well everyone it's time for us to go,ahead and take a look at the differences,between the free version of spotify and,the premium aka the paid version of,spotify now i will definitely tell you,if you are on a budget and you don't,want to spend anybody at all i like the,fact that spotify even has a free option,so there's some other you know music,streaming platforms like apple music,they have free trials but there is no,free option forever with spotify it is a,full-on free option which is really,really cool so personally i like having,that type of capability that is why i do,spend the 9.99 every month to have,spotify premium but i also know a lot of,people who don't have spotify premium,that still have a really good time with,the free version of spotify so,personally i think the features within,spotify premium are really worth it but,if you want to keep your free version of,spotify you have that option and that is,always there for you now first of all,the availability of both you can go and,install spotify on both of you know,whatever is available for spotify free,is also available on spotify premium as,well this includes androids iphones some,playstations if you have you know,carplay or android auto they support it,there too now which is really cool smart,tvs have it i think the nintendo switch,may have a two i could be totally wrong,but there's a ton of different devices,that do support spotify but even if your,device doesn't support it you can,actually still access spotify via your,web browser so that is a really cool,thing as well and that is something i,like doing too now one of the biggest,reasons why i like spotify premium and,the reason why i have it is because of,unlimited skips and offline listening,now there are a ton of other features,that come with spotify premium but those,two things are the first things that,come into my head of why i keep spotify,premium one with unlimited skips you,don't have to go ahead and sit through,as many ads that they want to give you,but also with spotify free you can't,just like search up a song and then like,play that song sometimes so you have to,like have that song in a playlist or,something or you have to listen to tons,of ads to listen to it i'm not a fan of,that you know i like you know supporting,artists and everything that's why i do,have the you know spotify premium so,that is one reason why i prefer spotify,premium is that you just have unlimited,skips so you don't have to go ahead and,just sit through all sorts of different,things that come you know about all,these different ads and you can just you,know skip as many songs i skip songs all,the time even the songs i have saved i,skip them all the time too so i love not,having to listen to ads and still being,able to support the creators and artists,as many times as i can but also we have,offline listening now with iphones and,even before i think spotify added in,offline listening most of the time if,you were in an area with bad signal or,you wer
